What kind of Faction would you like to see?

There are a lot of mixed factions of all races, but realistically, there would probably be a lot more "pure" alien factions. I mean, you can do a ton of RP on just a single planet, and having a player faction of the natives there would be cool. (Maybe impractical though)

Just regarding my own character for example, I'd find it really cool if there was a group of other Kel-Dors, as a mini faction. With alts, xeno-centric factions could be epic, with cool RP possibilities. (RP'ing an outsider trying to gain the trust of the faction? Playing a character who has yet to encounter other intelligent species?)

Yep. Winters sisters were not the most loving or nicest of gals growing up and Winter was often neglected and ignored by her family because of her seasonal embodiment. No one liked snow or being cold and thus they favored Summer, Spring, and Autumn more. And that was all fine and good, Winter accepted no one would fight comfort in her realm. But she still wanted to be apart of the family and be close to their sisters...which was denied because Winter kinda struck fear into her people because of her ice abilities.

She confronted her sisters about it and things got kinda intense. And [member="Summer E. Sovereign"] may or may not of tried to kill Winter...which resulted in her arm getting frozen solid and snapped off like a twig.


After that...horrific day Winter exiled herself from her land and fled to the stars. Where she...well, rose to power in her own way. Ruling her own slice of paradise among the stars.

Everyone borrows from each other, just like GoT did, certainly wasn't the first to write kings or queens in this way. A GoT inspired collection of noble houses would be cool as a method for IC interaction.

Earlier today I did set up a new faction titled the Estates of the Realm.

While it is predominately an OOC venture, collecting the lists of various noble houses, families, clans, etc etc, into one location to consolidate the information, it does have a minor IC section. That section however is mainly for those clans, families and houses to interact with one another; though it is not entirely like what is being suggested.

I'm in the faction I want to see. Droid monks and priest-kings striving to enlighten themselves and liberate others. I'm not quite ready to push advertisments, yet.

[member="Yoru Shakou"] I would love to see a faction of detectives or former law enforcement. Sort of like the Pinkertons of old. You can have a diverse mix of FU and NFU, and they'd just go and investigate weird galactic occurrences.

I thought I had seen a Sector Rangers Faction a while back; though I'm unsure.

If you look them up on Wookieepedia, the Sector Rangers are essentially what you're thinking of.

I'm still in love with The Jedi Academy Minor Faction. It has been everything all my Jedi characters have ever really needed.
