Question What the hell is "Force-Dead"?

I was searching what Force-Dead actually means, but the Wookieepedia page is rather bland as to what it is. Do we have a proper definition here in Chaos?

Can Force-Dead entities be affected by Force powers such as Mind control, combustion, force-choke and other powers applied directly to them?

I've always treated it as they are not able to be perceived and therefore manipulated by the Force. So intangible powers like Push, Pull, Choke, Sight, etc wouldn't be usable on you because you exist like a void where there is nothing for those powers to interact with. However, if I were to use the Force to throw a rock at you well inertia and the laws of physics still exist and I can still interact with you that way, which to an extent also extends to things like Combustion, Cryo and Lightning where it's moreso interacting with the space of the environment rather than you.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Basically it means you want to win in PvP and the Vong books are pretty bad with this introduction

Edit:

Jokes aside it’s silly and nonsensical to me. I don’t think it’s ever very clearly defined and even in the books and lore it’s in, it’s not very well…. Established how it works. Or what it really means.

In general terms, we're told that the Force connects all living things. Then the Legends writers introduced the Yuuzhan Vong, who are not connected to the Force. Ergo, they are "dead" to the Force or Force-Dead.

But then Vongsense is an ability Jedi can learn, so its like anything else from the books. Your mileage may vary and there is really no one interpretation that is going to be consistently applied across every use. Case in point, we're originally told that a Jedi has to cut themselves off from the Force to use Vongsense but I don't recall that limitation being consistent.

In general, Force abilities can't directly effect a Force-Dead being like a Yuuzhan Vong. But if you throw a bus at them, the bus will impact them just fine.

Soundwave Soundwave summed it up

But Ill also add this, something Ive observed on Chaos is the use of the term "force dead" on Non-Force user characters. But they are not like the Yuuzhan vong species. Instead these Non-Force user characters are unable or cutoff from being sensitive to the force, but can still be effected by all force abilities in every aspect.

Its slightly confusing ill admit, to see the same term used for both. But there is a difference in there.
