Like the title says, I'll be updating this original post with the current IC goings on. At any point you wish to be involved, have an idea, start a thread that could impact the CIS, post them here.
Druckenwell
The fall of the shipyard and the bombardment of the planet, these events have been blamed upon Serock Hoath here. While the thread is incomplete, we have established the end result being Serock escaping CIS space. I will then spin the ever loving crap out of that to further cement him as the key player in Druckenwells destruction and also implant further the seeds of fear and growing discontentment within the CIS populace.
The Assassination
Details are here. After Druckenwell and Serock Hoaths escape the remnants of Isley Verds government vote Salem Norongachi out of office, as interim leader. They think he wanted this war and that he purposefully engineered the military buildup prior to Druckenwell to force the conflict between the two governments. Knowing this was a possibility, he instigated a predetermined plan. He'd be assassinated, in short, after a very public and rousing speech to the people on every available CIS news outlet.
The civil war has begun, planets across the CIS have become battle zones as forces loyal to Salem and those of Verds government clash for the fate of its people.
Whats on the Horizon
The CIS is a powder keg. Many small and very pissed off groups of civillians and former navy/army personnel have joined together on the many worlds that make up our territory to take a stand against the spineless government that should have been disbanded with the departure of Verd.
Many will rise up on some of our worlds, if you'd like to be for or against then let me know and we'll hammer out the details.
