When blades clash and sparks fly (PM to join unless tagged)

Jae jumped a little when she heard Andorreth's voice, thinking it was only herself and Celiana in the room, she didn't know how long he'd been standing there listening or if he'd just shown up. She sat up, off of Celiana's chest, and looked over towards his direction.

She half smiled lightly as he spoke about his meet up with Akira and how it had gone well. She had no doubt that she'd be seeing his newly acquired set of skills soon enough during their sparring. As Andorreth questioned why Celiana was so fearful of the Reavers Jae looked between Andorreth and Celiana, wondering also why she was so concerned about them.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

"I'm fearful of them Andorreth because I had to deal with executing people infected by them on Coruscant. When The Sith were still in charge they thought it'd be fun to control the slums and keep down the pest population by infecting people through aid centers. I was called by a....intimate friend of mine to help her deal with the problem. As such I was basically forced into the role of an executioner. Once there are people infected or even debris such as glass that cuts a person they are guaranteed death, they become part of a hive mind. I had to walk the streets of the undercity and cut down people who had had lives, families, jobs. Then I had to burn their bodies so that no trace of the contagion remained."

"I was concerned about you ensuring you were ruthless in how you dealt with the ships and the infection aboard. Though I'm happy to hear you were....ruthlessly efficient. I don't normally encourage such acts and never would were it living people. Reavers are entirely different though, left unchecked they could wreak havoc on an entire planet should infected debris fall to the surface. In regards to your meeting with Akira any chance it has a shall we say gritty nature? I see a bag on your waist I suppose she's shared one of her tricks with you then?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] - @Jae Jordan

Processing what Celiana had said I flinched, she'd had to walk the lower city as an executioner to keep others safe... Gods and Goddesses that had to have taken a toll. Looking at her as she finished speaking I said "I'm sorry Celiana, that's...I can't imagine doing that it must've taken a huge toll on you." As she mentioned gritty nature I smiled and said "Aye, it was gritty though I've a feeling you already know most of Akira's tricks anyways. She said that you'd know how to use it alongside the power you promised to teach me and that they could be used in tandem with one another."

Looking at Jae and then back to Celiana I continued "She also said that the power you promised to teach me was as a double edged sword. I could defend with it or be hurt by it she also made mention that it'd become something of a unique calling card of yours. I'm curious Celiana, is it a form of power that would be...questionable for a Jedi to use? More than that does it have to do with Electricity?"

[member="Celiana"] - @Jae Jordan

Inclining my head to Andorreth I softly said "It was difficult yes. I wouldn't wish that job upon anyone, though I thank you for your understanding of the situation. In regards to the gritty talent you have likely been taught I've never actually dealt with it, just as I have the power that I'm going to teach you Akira has her tricks. I'm intrigued to see what exactly it is, though I have my theories. As to your question about my particular calling card having to do with electricity...yes it isn't something most Jedi would teach a padawan without "proper supervision" which is honestly subjective."

"Proper supervision is a joke Andorreth. The short end is this, when I teach you this power I'm basically going to blast you with Force Lightning. When I do so you should embrace the pain, you Corellians have a particularly catchy thing you recite about fear, I have the same thing. It will hurt you not doubt, and if Jae doesn't wish to see you go through it that is her choice it is a....difficult thing to watch happen to someone you care for. The technique I'm going to teach you requires you to have taken the power of Force Lightning into yourself and is a unique variation of it. There is one thing I will recommend with this Mr. Vikar, practice control of your emotions, self-control especially but also meditate on the fact none of us can control everything. That is key to what I want to show you the purity of power and realizing you cannot control everything."

Flicking my eyes to Jae I said "It was nice spending time with you Jae, you both have the option of joining Akira and I for dinner or having something brought by the droids to your quarters. I made the assumption you two would be sharing a room so you'll have shared quarters." Flicking my gaze back to Andorreth I said "Mr. Vikar, it will be your choice when you wish to intake the power of Force Lightning I will not force that upon you. However the sooner you do so the more practice you can achieve and the greater control of the power I'll show you. Simply seek me out when you decide you are ready and we'll begin, while it may cause Jae pain to see there is also a distinct beauty to it so again whenever you're ready... Hopefully I'll see you two at dinner, if not then I bid you goodnight."

With that I walked back out of the hotspring area and back to my own shared quarters to get ready for dinner...

As Celiana and Andorreth began speaking about Akira and her teaching methods, Jae couldn't help but feel some what out of place as they spoke of things regarding bladework and the 'gritty talent' Andorreth would have learnt from Akira. She sunk into the water a little bit, her head still above the water, as the two of them conversed more about what Celiana was going to teach Andorreth in the next few days they spent here.

Jae frankly had lost track of what the two of them were conversing about, as soon as the topic of the Force an the skills interlaced with it was brought up she couldn't keep up. By the time she figured out what one thing meant they'd already managed to discuss three other things. Nevertheless she continued to listen to what she had to say to Andorreth. Everything was fine until she explained what was going to happen, regarding the Force Lightning. Despite Jae's limited knowledge in the Force and all the abilities it entailed she knew enough to know what Force Lightning was. Her head snapped towards Celiana when she explained that she'd be striking him with a blast of the lightning. Before she could interject into the conversation and protest against the idea, Celiana had continued speaking and Jae had decided to speak to Andorreth about it later in private.

Jae snapped out of her own head space when Celiana spoke directly to her, she smiled in return and gave a short nod of her head. Her eyes flicked over to Andorreth looking at him for a short moment before looking downwards once again. She waited a few moments after Celiana had left before she too got out of the hot springs, grabbing a nearby towel and patting herself dry and grabbing her shoes and other clothing.

Now beside Andorreth she continued to head towards the door, "So, training with Akira went well?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

As Celiana left I heard Jae say so training with Akira went well? Looking at her I nodded and said "Aye, it did indeed. In terms of the gritty talent Celiana mentioned I'd like to show you if you're alright with that. I noticed your head snap over towards Celiana as well when she brought up Force Lightning. Gotta say not thrilled about it, but I'd venture a guess that what Celiana is wanting to teach me is something called Electric Judgement. Basically the Jedi equivalent of Force lightning, though usually not used either. It's regarded as a bit of a tolerated but not encouraged power."

Pulling the strings open on the bag Akira had given me I shook out the sand and bringing my will to bear held it there in a small cloud. Gently bringing The Force to bear I pressed my will into the sand and gently brushed Jae's hair away from her face and caressed her cheek. Then with another swift movement of my hands I brought the sands back against my left forearm and hardened it into a shield while I let a small cloud drift around my waist then with a flick of thought I slashed it into a whip against the wall. Looking back at Jae I released the sands back into a cloud and brought them back into the bag before closing it once again.

"So....pretty cool right? I'd guess by the way you were staring daggers at Celiana you weren't expecting me to be shocked full of lightning though I did say before I knew for sure that I'd like to learn." Moving over to offer Jae my hand I grabbed her clothes with my spare hand and said "So...get ready for dinner, or stay in? I have the feeling that either way you want to glare daggers at Celiana and ask about safety procedures."

@Jae Jordan

She looked down to the side, "I wasn't...glaring daggers. But I don't like the situation either." She said, avoiding eye contact with him, slightly embarrassed she'd made it so evidently clear she didn't agree or like the sound of what Celiana had planned for Andorreth and simply too stubborn to admit that she maybe was glaring daggers at Celiana. She didn't like the idea of Andorreth being zapped by lightning until he figured out how to harness the power and use it for himself and his own purposes, it seemed utterly reckless and most imporatantly dangerous. Now Jae was always one for risky behaviour and living life to the fullest but this was different, she didn't like it at all.

"Are you actually going ahead with the whole being struck by lightning plan?!" She questioned, "Andorreth, this is dangerous! you've hardly used any Force abilities, at least that I know of and all of a sudden you're ready to be zapped by lightning?" She rambled on about the consequences and how dangerous this really was. It was her care for him and her limited knowledge on the Force that was perhaps preventing her from being a little more open-minded about the entire situation. "What if something goes wrong? What happens if you don't do what Celiana is expecting to happen? What then?" She sighed before pausing the discussion to answer his last question, "I suppose we should meet and have dinner with the two of them, seems like the polite thing to do." She replied to his question.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

Smiling at her outburst I said "I only need to be blasted as you say once. The whole thing about Force lightning from my understanding and studies in personal time is that in order to use any version of the power you have to first take that power into yourself. Plus the fact that Celiana left an honor guard and a medical droid to look after you in the event she didn't show up shows that she's concerned with safety. She's not going to zap me until my heart stops, she wouldn't have a student then. As for my reasoning for wanting this power... you know of my brother, but you never heard about my mother or father did you?"

Sighing I looked at Jae and while we walked towards out shared quarters I continued. "You see, my mother is a Force-wielder. Though she never taught me herself mainly because she used her abilities for art. The power she wielded was beautiful in how it was utilized, you saw what I can do with the sand yes? Well my mother to my knowledge is still known for her glasswork. She does the same thing with sand except she uses it to hold a certain shape, then she'd use what I refer to as Emerald lightning. Electric Judgement and she'd blast the sand with the lightning turning it to glass. She'd weave both sand and lightning to create art Jae, our home was known to put out incredible art. Our rock gardens were crafted by my mother as well using simple Telekinesis, she never taught my brother or myself how. Partly because she was concerned with how we'd use such powers..."

"Jae I'm not offering myself up to be sacrificed and Celiana isn't going to shock me until I drop either. That being said yes, I do plan on going through with this not just because I can use these powers in combat but for their use in art. I want to have something made for my Mother when I return to Corellia and I'd like it to be made by my hands and not simply paid for. I am very thankful for your concern for my health though." Gently kissing her I pressed the button by our door unlocking it. She was still wet from the hotspring waters and I simply picked her up around the waist and held her before gently kissing her again. Smiling I said "We should get ready for dinner though..." Kissing her again I gently pulled away and walked into the bathroom to grab a towel for Jae to dry off with.

@Jae Jordan

She hated to admit that Andorreth did have a point about Celiana being concerned with safety and making it a top priority. Celiana had gone through the effort of organising medical droids for herself when she'd hit her head and even taken her own personal time to stay with her and make sure she was doing alright. Jae was particularly in no place to call Celiana out for not worrying about safety, recent events would prove otherwise. She looked over at him when he asked if she'd ever heard about his parents, she shook her head in the negative in response, only having heard about his brother and not anything about his parents.

She listened as Andorreth told her the stories of his mother and how she'd wielded the Force to make sculptures of art and decorate their household with them. She looked down and sighed, instantly feeling bad for taking such a one sided perspective on the situation. "I'm..sorry. For reacting the way I did." She finally apologised, moving past her stubborn wall. Though despite acting like she was compliant with the plan she still hated every part of it.

She heaved one last sigh, half in defeat from not doing something about this lightning plan, though she had to come to terms with the fact that she couldn't control everything and that it ultimately wasn't up to her what happened next. She didn't move when he kissed her on the forehead as he opened the doors to their temporary quarters. She took the towel he offered her and dried off, he kissed her once again only kissing back after a moment, unable to stop herself this time round. She nodded her head in response to him saying they should start getting ready, she grabbed her clothes and went to go change in the bathroom.

Switching out of the clothes I'd sparred and trained in I pulled on a clean set of clothes left by the service droids of the Dojo. Smiling as Jae apoligized I said "Jae the fact is that you're concerned about me and that means a great deal. Especially because ever since my exile its been me looking out for myself." I finished pulling on a simple black t-shirt and loose Echani style combat trousers and began tying a blade on my belt just in case either Akira or Celiana pulled any tricks. I suddenly had a flash of vision as I finished tying the sheathe to my belt...

Blades, one blue the other green clashing. Silver sparks flying and wrist blade angled towards my throat. A shield of sand hardening to glass then a emerald blade piercing it. Sand wrapped around a wrist a leg slashed and the hold turned to glass. Sand ripping the emerald blade away into my hand. Blade caught and purple and emerald electricity wreathing her arms. Emerald blade inverted and leveled at her throat, Serenity angled in an inverted hold towards her heart and my back towards her...

The vision ceased and I dropped to a knee with a gasp. This whole Force thing was a gift to be sure but there was so much I didn't know about it... Celiana had even said she wouldn't train me as a Jedi. Akira had taught the beginning of a power but correctly said it was to me to practice it. Celiana had said the same thing of the power she would teach me... To say nothing of the fact that at some point I'd likely be wielding a saber... Sighing I recovered my breath and as Jae finished getting ready I crossed my legs in a Lotus position and began trying meditation again...

@Jae Jordan

Jae finished drying off and changed into the dry and clean pair of clothing that laid folded neatly on the bed. She smiled back as Andorreth said it meant a great deal to him that she cared for his safety. She walked into the bathroom, walking in and looking in the mirror as she began to fix up her hair from early today. Leaving it out and sitting around her shoulders, brushed neatly.

She was looking forward to dinner with Akira and Celiana, she was somewhat hungry, unable to remember the last full meal she'd had today. Though she was also expecting some talk to go down tonight at dinner whether it be about the force lightning procedure or something completely different. She also was interested to formally meet with Akira, only having seen her briefly as she left the dojo.

She walked out of the bathroom, "You ready to- Andorreth." She looked forward only to see him down on one knee, gasping. She quickly walked up to him, "Are you alright?" She asked concerned, though by the time she reached him he'd gotten up and sat down in a lotus position appearing to meditate. Instead of disturbing him she let him be for awhile unsure of what was wrong at this point in time.

I'd only just started to come back then begin meditating when I'd heard Jae softly sit on the bed. Sighing I decided that meditation would have to wait until after dinner. Rising back to my feet I glanced at Jae and said "Ahhhh yes....that. Well not exactly sure how to say this but the other time this happened I was on a different assignment shortly before I ran into you on Nar Shadaa. I just got the second of what I think are Force visions, this time though was...different. I saw only flashes, but I somehow think that I'm going to beat Celiana and claim Tamerlein and soon too..."

Shrugging my shoulders I said "Guess we'd better head to dinner the huh? I'm sure Akira and Celiana will be waiting...." Tapping the button on the door I watched as it whisked open and was surprised to see Akira leaned against the opposite wall. "You seem awfully slow for such a quick and talented swordsmen Mr. Vikar." I saw Akira flick her gaze to Jae "Ahhhhh...you must be Jae m'dear. Come along then, help a blind woman to dinner will you?"

Smirking I looked at Jae and mouthed the words "She's a Miraluka, she can see you and what she's doing just fine. The walking stick is for a weapon and appearances." Suddenly Akira jerked her head towards me. "Mr. Vikar! I can read lips just fine, it's almost as if you think I'm blind or something...Sheesh....In any case I came to collect you both for dinner. Follow me please, and Jae, you can ask whatever you wish of me. Onwards!!!!" With that Akira lifted her walking stick as if in a charge and began leading the way towards what I assumed was the dining hall.

@Jae Jordan

She listened carefully as Andorreth described the Force visions he was having, and how this was the second one he'd had, the first being just before the two had first met on Nar Shadaa. She furrowed her brows slightly, not entirely sure where he was going with all of this, though smiled when he stated he had a feeling he'd be claiming Tamerlein along with beating Celiana soon. "Well that's good!" She said, she was going to ask further questions regarding the Force visions though refrained from getting lost in conversation, they did after all have a dinner to attend.

She walked with him towards the door and was about to head out as soon as the door opened only to see Akira standing out there before them, she jumped a little in shock before settling back in her place. She nodded her head as Akira addressed her. She continued to listen quietly as she talking about leading a blind woman to dinner. At this point Jae was genuinely panicking, just a little. She looked up to Andorreth and back to Akira a couple times before she hesitated a little, walking out about to help guide Akira to dinner. Though she couldn't piece together how she'd managed to duel against Andorreth if blind...

She was stopped as Anodrreth gently grabbed her upper arm, she turned her gaze upwards to Andorreth and read his lips as it was explained that Akira was a Miraluka. Which now made a lot more sense to her. She jumped a little again as Akira scolded Anodrreth, though she couldn't help laughing lightly towards the end. She had to admit, Akira was different to what she'd originally expected, which she wasn't sure entirely what that was, but it definitely wasn't this. Recalling on her conversation with Celiana, she remembered what she'd referred to her as, "So, how long have you been head instructor and chief master here?" She asked as the trio started to approach the dining hall, a table set in the middle. She continued to walk forward, approaching one of the seats tucked under and away at the table.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

Curious as to when Akira had originally arrived here as well I waited and walked behind Akira. "Since discovering the remains here at the age of twelve. Even before I'd become adopted as a member of the Echani I was shall we say....gifted. I was already what most would call a Jedi knight by that age as well however I chose to remain more of a reclusive Teacher. The wood flooring on the main level, the stone exteriors of the temple and sparring yards were all raised by me. Using The Force I lifted and constructed this place, it was done by the age fourteen."

"As for how long I've been a master of blades...well that would be when I was granted the title of Echani swordmistress at the age of sixteen. Which was also when I competed against and defeated all of the best duelists on Eshan. Celiana came to be my student at that time as well and from sixteen until twenty she remained here as a student. After which I became a recluse again.... She only recently returned though so I'm unsure as to the future. Even Miraluka have problems seeing sometimes."

That was....unexpected as an asnwer to say the least. Looking at Jae I outright said "guess it's a good thing you're friendly Akira." Chuckling she said "that is a correct assumption Mr. Vikar, though I'm not the type for direct confrontation anyways. I prefer shall we say discreet and final solutions. Just because someone is physically blind doesn't mean they can't be incredibly lethal... Looks aren't everything you two, remember that." Suddenly we reached a door which Akira simply pulled open with The Force gesturing for us to enter she waited patiently.

@Jae Jordan

Listening intently she tried to absorb everything Akira was telling the duo. She was quite amazed at what Akira had achieved by the age of fourteen, she thought back to when she was fourteen and only had memories of her being a stubborn adolescent whinging and whining about flying. "That's quite an impressive history." Jae commented, after Akira had finished speaking. As Akira mentioned Celiana she thought back to what Celiana had said about Akira back out on the training mats and even in the hot springs and how she'd spoken about her.

Jae pulled a chair out and sat down, across the table was another chair and nearby was Celiana, she smiled at her bowing her head slightly in respect and greeting her. Despite Jae not liking the Force Lightning plan she had no quarrel with Celiana about it. She looked back towards Akira and another question popped into her head, she didn't know very much about the Miraluka, so at the time this question seemed completely appropriate in her head, "If you're physically blind, how do you see?" She asked simply out of curiosity and for no other reason. She realised afterwards how rude and forward the question sounded, her eyes widening slightly upon realisation, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to sound so rude.." She quickly apologised, regretting her poor choice of wording, and regretting the whole question in the end.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

I took a seat along with Jae, I inclined my head silently to Celiana to which she did the same. Then Jae asked Akira about how she could see if she was physically blind. Immediately after she apologized for being rude. Smirking I looked towards Celiana and once more opened my mind while Akira answered Jae's question. "You can close your eyes and still hear things, smell things yes? I can do the same I can tell where people are by the smell of sweat, hear them and where they're moving by being still and listening. Both are good talents to have, however I see through The Force Jae. I can see Celiana across the table she has a smirk on her face because she can see as I do. I taught her to do such she also appears in the shade of ....perhaps lavender. At peace, but amused you see as I see through The Force I can also read emotions based on color."

Celiana spoke then "Jae you for example have a mashup of colors right now, there's a brigth reddish orange for example directed towards me. You're irritated at me and I can guess why, but the irritation isn't full anger. Andorreth on the other hand is what I see as a gentle blue, at peace but the blue is shifting occasionally as if in preparation to adapt at a moment's notice. You see this is something that is I suppose sacred to Echani. During combat we that have the ability of Force Sight can read other people's emotions as colors. It is a beautiful thing to see and even more sacred among Echani honor-duels. You may not know of them but I'll explain, in an Echani honor-duel there are no weapons, no Force powers, no armor of any kind, and no clothing worn other than that which could be considered as keeping decency. Though that would only be among those not familiar or comfortable with the custom or those that are already in a relationship with another."

I kept silent, I had a feeling Celiana would bring up my lineage soon enough and Jae would perhaps understand more about my family... Celiana continued "You see among the Echani honor-duels are hand to hand only. We learn intimately about the other perosn and they learn about us. In combat there are no half-truths, no promises made, only action. We see each other for the actions of the other we that have the gift of Force sight see even more of a person due to out ability to read the colors of the opponents emotions. I wondered what it was that popped at me about you. It strikes me now that you have the ability to learn that gift as well, keep in mind though that it is something only you can choose and it is not a combative ability but rather one of the heart. I'll leave that to you to decide though, continuing on honor-duels there is another purpose behind them. Courtship, as I said everything is laid bare, no half-truths, only full truth matched by action. Repetitive honor duels are seen as a way of becoming intimate with another and seeing each others heart and soul through battle."

"Andorreth is familiar with these rituals as I can sense he's about to tell you something about himself." Glancing at Jae I said "My mother whom I mentioned? She is Echani, as it is I am half Echani, half Correllian. My looks are from the Corellian side, my combat abilities and training along with my potential for The Force is from The Echani side." Thankfully just hen droids brought in a bowl of hot and sour soup big enough for all of us. Then to follow it they brought out grilled chicken with rice and vegetables. Oh by the Force this I felt was about to get interesting...

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Celiana"]

She looked at Akira with a curious gaze, one that was willing to learn more, like a child learning a new concept or seeing something for the very first time. She found it quite interesting how she utilised the Force to see and found it even more interesting when she learnt that she viewed people with a colour somewhat manifesting in them. She turned her attention towards Celiana when she began to speak and continued to listen with the same gaze and attention that she showed Akira. Although as soon as Celiana began to speak about the colour surrounding Jae and what it symbolised, she sunk back into her chair, "Well... I mean I think that's being slightly misinterpreted." She mumbled, partly avoiding the truth, although she'd tried to move past it the feeling still remained. "I'm beginning to regret my question." Jae commented, hoping that they didn't discuss any more colours surrounding Jae, as Celiana had mentioned there was a somewhat mashup of colours. She'd rather not hear any more emotions that she may or may not be trying to ignore for the time being.

Luckily, they'd moved onto a different topic and Jae relaxed a little more though still couldn't help feeling somewhat out of place, something she'd been feeling and ignoring since they'd arrived. Residing among all the talented and skilled bladewomen and men and Force wielders. However she continued to pay attention to Celiana and her explanation of Echani honour-duels. She tilted her head to the side slightly when Celiana stated she believed that she could harness the ability to do such a thing during an honour-duel. She was confused as to how and why she believed that she laughed shortly and lightly before speaking, "But..I'm just a girl from Pamarthe. I don't have the combat abilities of The Echani nor am I Force sensitive, how would I be able to do such a thing?" Perhaps she was simply looking at the big picture and the obvious factors, rather than looking at the finer detail, but Jae's confidence in her achieving something like that was not very high.

As Celiana stated that Andorreth had something to say to her, she turned her head, looking at him and awaiting his speech. After the words left his mouth her shoulders dropped partly from surprise and the other from slight shock. Not that it changed the way she saw him, not in the slightest. Though she was amazed at this information, though it did explain his perfectly natural ability in Echani combat and training, and how he made it look so simple. "You're half Echani?!" She restated in shock. She stared at the food in front of her for a few moments, processing the information, looking back at him she said, "I would have never guessed that. Though that does explain why you excel so greatly in Echani combat." She said with a smile at the end as she picked up her fork.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] | [member="Celiana"]

Smiling I said "Aye, half echani." Looking towards Celiana as I filled a bowl of soup for myself and another for Jae I tried reaching out mentally to her. "Celiana, you owe her an explanation of what you intend to do in terms of shocking performances." I saw her gaze flick to me then nod slowly. Again she was speaking "Jae, you realized my reference to what you are concerned about. Then immediately tried to hid what you were thinking and feeling. By the way you succeeded at that so congratulations are in order, i t's no small feat to so efficiently shield your mind. A useful skill as well, in any case you have concerns about my imparting the skill of Force lightning to Andorreth if I'm guessing correctly.... Perhaps I can help with that fear. Firstly a medical droid will be there, secondly I'm only going to be firing force lightning after first showing Andorreth a technique for redirecting the lightning."

"You see the way I learned was through pain, I wouldn't do the same to anyone else." Rising from her seat Celiana stepped away from the table and showed a smooth movement. One hand out as if to recieve energy, then bringing both hand towards her bare midriff before turning and directing her arm back out. "That movement Jae is called a re-direct, understand that Andorreth need only take the energy into himself in order to wield it in the future. He is not to absorb it though but to redirect it back towards the source. Me, you see Sith use this power as a means of torture, and domination. Jedi use this, emerald lightning as the purest expression of that power neither rage, nor anger are used. Rather peace and control of self are the factors at play, I understand your concerns about it though if it helps I will go through that motion for hours if need be before I fire the emerald lightning at him."

She stepped back to her seat and sat legs crossed, hmmm wasn't expecting a Jedi version of intaking the power. "Jae, in regards to being a simple girl I doubt that highly. You see your expert piloting skills which I observed form Nar Shadaa orbit is a sign of moderate Force talents. You see, the level of piloting skill you have doesn't just come from practice. You fly instinctively, knowing things about where to go, how to maneuver without needing to think. Which is why it would only be the training in how to see the way I, Akira, and even Andorreth. Even if he is not on the level of that ability the same as say Akira or myself you have the ability to learn."

Bringing a bowl of soup to Jae I turned and saw that Akira was simply using The Force to ladle soup into a bowl before snatching a spoon and levitating it back to her. Raising an eyebrow she turned and said "What? I can be lazy too y'know! I'm not always a proper Master..." Smiling at her small outburst I glanced towards Jae to see her reactions and responses to what Celiana had said and took a sip of my soup from my spoon...

[member="Jae Jordan "]- [member="Celiana"]

She stared at her food in front of her still trying to wrap her head around the fact that Andorreth was half Echani. Though she had to admit it did answer a couple things and made things clearer in terms of his fighting abilities. Jae snapped back into reality and looked around over to Celiana as she addressed her and began to speak to her. She straightened up a little as Celiana congratulated her on hide her feelings and what she was thinking, unable to help getting a little full of her self and too proud of her minor victory. Was it a victory? Jae was going to count it as one. "Well, thanks I guess." She smiled and shrugged a little happily.

She watched carefully as she demonstrated the move, not like she could criticise it in any way shape or form, given her limited knowledge in this field. Nevertheless Jae continued to pay every bit of attention she had towards Celiana. She nodded slowly upon hearing that medical droids would be on site in the case of a dire emergency, though Jae hoped for anything but that and decided not to dwell on the idea. She knew if she continued to think of it she'd manage to think of 302 different things that could go wrong and she'd get even more anxious than she already was. She smiled towards Celiana, "Thank you, for taking precautions in all of this." She thanked Celiana sincerely. She took a bite of her food and chewed thoughtfully, swallowing she looked back at Celiana, avoiding eye contact, her eyes drifting up and down. "I um...also think an apology is called for. So, I'm sorry for my behaviour to this entire situation and for my attitude towards you." She apologised, feeling better as she'd gotten it off of her chest.

She began to take a drink as Celiana continued talking about her possible Force abilities. She listened intently when she brought up her piloting skills. Celiana did have a good point, with her excelling greatly in piloting. Jae hadn't really ever thought of her piloting experience playing a part in all of this. "Maybe you're right, but I doubt I have any Force abilities with me." She responded, sticking to her original answer regarding any Force abilities. She wasn't quite sure why she was so adamant on not having Force abilities, she didn't know if she was scared or worried or something completely different all together. She had no clue to be entirely honest.

She soon realised how stubborn and hard to get along with she was being tonight. She let out a soft sigh, barely audible, before looking back up at Celiana, "But..I guess it wouldn't hurt to try." She added softly at the end of her sentence, offering a small smile.

Nodding at Jae's apology I said "Not a problem Jae, I tend to jealously guard those I'm close to as well so believe it or not I approve. I'd be more concerned if you weren't concerned. As for skills with The Force it's alright if you're not sure, just know that I only will give you the knowledge to begin to see things differently." Smiling at her comment of giving it a try I said "All one can do is take a chance, then keep taking chances. You and Andorreth seem good together so clearly on some level you're a fan of taking risks." Smirking at her I looked towards Akira and let my eyes roam over her evening wear, mmmm lovely.... Coming back to the conversation I glanced towards Andorreth and said "Mr. Vikar, mind that you take good care of Jae hmmm? Women like her are exceedingly difficult to find and should be treasured."

I let the comment sit and looking at Jae, then Andorreth I saw the Force bond there. Interesting indeed, they were already connected on a deep level that I wasn't sure they even realized. Bah! What did I know? They were clearly crazy for each other and I could respect that at the very least. Looking towards Jae I slowly rose with my plate and said "I'll be seeing you both at eight in the morning sharp. Andorreth, the facilities are yours and Jae's to do with as you two please. I might suggest the hotsprings for you both a good soak will do wonders for both or your muscles. Plus, they're quite sensual if shared with someone close to you...." I shot Jae a wink and hoped she took my meaning as it was meant to be.

Then giving Akira a look I turned and left quietly in order to give Andorreth and Jae time to talk and follow my innuendo laced suggestion of soaking in the hotsprings. I had a good feeling about Jae and Andorreth both as students and as a couple sighing I headed to Akira's chambers to spend time with my significant other too...
