When Dark Hearts Meet (Dara Gola)

"I happen to be a Sith knight, my dear." she began. "And while not all of my powers are based in shadow, I can help you to learn as I have. Who knows, perhaps we can both benefit from training together. You can still serve whomever the Primeval see fit to have you with but for the time you can come with me. There's a lot I can offer you. I have power, and I can tell you seek it. I can see it in your eyes. That need to know. That hunger for what can one person gain. That is the calling of the darkside."

Dara sat there in silence, this dark lady, this sith knight, knew exactly what she was feeling. she teased Dara with that fact, taunted her with the prospect of learning, dangling that fact in front of her like a treat. " What... what do you get out of it?" She asked. She knew better to think that this Sith was going to just teach herout of the kindness of her heart. she had said that they would both benefit and Dara wondered what she would gain from it when it was all over.

She had already learned more about the planet she was on in the few minutes that she had talked to this woman than she did in all of her research. The hunger to know more tugged at her, it grew inside of her like a cancer, making it hard to say no, but she knew that the price would be something she would hesitate to pay. This sith was going to ask something fi her that would drive her down that dark path again, and if she walked it, he would have a hard time turning back. She already knew that she would say yes, that she was going to follow this dark lady wherever she lead, but she wanted to hear the words first. She wanted to know what the sith gained by training with her, besides a skilled assassin at her beck and call.

Dara was torn and that was the worst part, because both sides weren't equal, the side that did want to know was too large to be ignored, she had to know, needed to know everything, she wanted to be powerful and here was the path to power, sitting right across from her, all she had to do was figure out how to keep from losing more than a hand from it.

[member="Darth Raven"]

The twi'lek girl proved a lot more clever than she seemed. She could already tell Raven wanted something in the end. But she only smiled at this. Not that the prospect of having an apprentice of sorts wasn't a grand idea but to have someone as 'intriguing' as her around would be. There was a subtle attraction towards her, one Raven almost denied at first. But, in truth, as much as Raven liked to seem heartless she was still human. Even she had to have a spark of emotion and attachment towards someone once in a while.

"Gain? Well, aside from having a potential apprentice, would you believe it's because.... I like you?" she asked with a coy smirk.

Dara sat there and once again she was speechless, the sith had admitted to wanting an apprentice. That part made sense to her, the ability to train and control another was something that had been a lure for her old master, so why should a potentially new one be any different. It was the final three words that left her speechless. This sith sitting across from her was drawn to her for her attractiveness. Dara wasn't ignorant of how the galaxy worked, she had lovers in the past, but she hadn't spent too long with any of them. None of them could understand the darkness that always seemed to surround her, nor could they give her the exciting life that she always craved. She could never been a calm and peaceful being again after living the life of an assassin.

She sat there and looked over at the sith across from her, taking her in fully for the first time. There was no denying that the woman was beautiful and likely extremely dangerous as well. She was torn and confused by it all and se felt trapped in the moment and she had a feeling that this dark lady knew it. She knew that she had let the silence become uncomfortable but she didn't have the words to express her confused state. Everything inside of her was off balance and she saw the becon in the darkness and it was sitting across from her. But was taking that path more or less dangerous for her.

She slowly slid her cybernetic hand back to where it had been on the table before, an invitation of sorts as she slowly nodded. She wanted to say something but her mind and her mouth weren't working together anymore.
[member="Darth Raven"]

Raven's eyes watched as the twi'lek's hand came back up to the table. She glanced back at her eyes, smirking again, before taking both of her hands and grasping the cyber hand. Her finger trailed against the knuckle and worked it's way around the palm. While she knew the girl could not feel it Raven was using it as a sign to show the hand did not disgust her or make her feel she was any less attractive. It was only a hand after all. There were 'other parts' to enjoy.

With a little hum Raven closed her eyes, saying "I can sense your confusion. It's alright. A natural thing to come from this sort of meeting." She opened them, looking to her, while saying "I was like that the first time I felt it for someone." her hands continued to trail over the cyber hand. "But don't be afraid, my dear. What I say is true. I do find myself sort of attracted to you. I cannot be sure why. Maybe it's the pasts we share. Or maybe the power I sense. It could be as simple as 'because'. Either way it's enough to know it's real. But what about you? What do your feelings tell you?"

[member="Dara Gola"]

Dara watched as Ravens hands trailed along her cybernetics. She could feel that it was being manipulated, but she couldn't tell if the other woman's hands were soft or if they were warm, only that they were there. She watched, fascinated at the sincerity and tenderness of the simple action, which only further pushed her mind into knots. Sith were supposed be filled with rage and violence, seeing this kind of care made her rethink her stance on all of it. She only knew the fear and rage that the darkside offered, never anything else.

She looked up and made eye contact again, and the words spoken to her were filled with care and longing. She was sure they were sincere, she wanted to see this all as a trick, but the woman's force aura remained as it had been the entire conversation. She was being as honest as Dara had ever seen anyone ever be. She took a deep breath and finally spoke. "My feelings are mixed. Not because I don't find you attractive, you're beautiful. The conflict is from the way you're treating me. I've never been shown the kindness you have shown me, not from anyone that was a sith. It's all very confusing and yet it feels calming as well. I want to say yes to everything you have offered me, to stand at your side at all times and hope that I can impress you as your apprentice. It scares me too. Because these feelings are all so new to me."

She felt like she was rambling and had to stop herself from continuing. She didn't think this woman was using any force tricks on her, but she cou fly explain how or why she felt drawn to her. It wasn't something Dara was used to feeling and she was at a loss to explain it.

[member="Darth Raven"]

Raven chuckled at the twi'lek as she explained herself. To have been beaten down with such negative emotions her whole life and never knowing the more tender side of the Sith. True many of them devoted to rage, anger, and fear as a means of power but compassion and desire were driving forces as well. It was always a matter of feeling inwards, only truly caring about yourself and what you wanted. Even if what you wanted was someone else. The Jedi were like this, but not to the extremes of the Sith. They preached love but not in the more strong and deep rooted passionate way the Sith did. It was a matter of driving power that made the Sith what they were. But Raven would help this girl understand one way or another.

"Don't be afraid of them." she said in reference to the girl's emotions. "Let them in. Let them fill your heart. You'll realize there's nothing wrong with how you feel. If anything, you may find it....'stimulating'."

[member="Dara Gola"]

she felt the words and emotions that the woman were expressing and she was hard pressed not to just allow herself to become wrapped up in them. They were raw and carrying and the words caressed her like smooth silk. She had to reach out to see if this woman was pressing her will out because it felt so wonderful. These feelings were alien to her but there was an intoxicating attraction to them.

She wanted to be wanted, to feel needed beyond what she could do with the force. This woman, who's name she didn't even know was caressing her with her hands and projecting her emotions outward. Dara moved her other hand up and joined it with the others already on the table. For the first time she knew the softness of her touch. The warmth of her skin. The strength of the darkness within her. It was even more of a draw. She felt like a moth and the other woman was the flame. Teading her towards what could be her doom. Dara had been manipulated by everyone for her entire life. She was used to being used and discarded, but this woman had offered her more than that.

" I am willing to open myself to these emotions. It's strange but for only the second time in my life I feel like I have a choice." She said. Her eyes were locked on he other woman's and she intended on showing this strange dark lady that she was serious.

Watching at her other hand came up Darth Raven smirked more at the prospect of the twi'lek accepting her offer. Feeling her smooth skin against her own while sandwiched between the cyber hand indicated everything she needed. Her steel blue eyes looked back to her, almost beaming as they drew her in. Raven was glad it worked. So much could come from this. A lot she hoped.

"I'm Darth Raven." she finally introduced herself. "But, if you wish, you can call me by my real name. Sophie."

It had been a first for her to allow anyone to call her by her real name. She'd held onto her Darth name with a passion. It was a sign of how she'd fully progressed into the realm of the Sith and attained their power. But at the same time she felt it was a title and rank to be honored. Like taking on a new identity altogether. But allowing this girl to say it meant she had a deeper trust for her. The last one to call her that was her master.

[member="Dara Gola"]

"Sophie" Dara said softly. The single word rolled off of her tongue. It would be a stretch for even the woman across from her to have heard it. Her old master had never told her his real name. She was only allowed Wo call him 'master'. She spend more time yelling that name as she begged for forgiveness than anything else. In just s few minutes this woman that was going to be her new master had given her more than that old bastard ever had. "it is a lovely name and it fits you perfectly. My name is Dara... Dara Gola." Her name sounded plain to her, it was just a sime name for a girl who would forever be simple.

" I don't even know what to say. Just in this few minutes you've shown me more kindness than anyone has except the host lord herself. Ian at your disposal." She said with a slight smile. She felt happy for the first time in a long time. The primeval was her home and she had been allowed to join of her own free will and now she found someone that was going to help her. It was an odd moment in her life and she hoped things continued as they were.

[member="Darth Raven"]

Dara. A name fitting for a twi'lek, and a future user of the darkside. Thinking on it Raven wondered if she would want a Darth nae by the time she was forged into a Sith Knight, or the next best thing in the Primeval's case. A powerful union was made today, one that Raven could see prosper into something more with time. As Dara told how she'd shown more kindness than before it showed how her method was true. Using the Force by extreme measure was not the proper tone. It was a matter of nurturing one into the arms of the darkside.

Raven, or Sophie as Dara now preferred, stood while holding the twi'lek's metal hand, saying "I think it's time I returned to Courascant. Would you like to join me? See the Sith Temple? Perhaps...allow me to help you find quaters for yourself if you chose to stay?"

[member="Dara Gola"]

Dara watched at the Sophie stood, her metal hand still on the other woman's grip. It showed her a lot about this woman and how she was seeing past the wounds and differences that they had. She was looking at Dara and only seeing Dara, not the fallen Jedi that was plagued with night terrors of being caught. Or the failed sith that had wandered the galaxy searching for a place to fit in. She was still in shock atg the entire conversation and how it had progressed. Sophie, her new... well he wasn't sure exactly what she was, had gone from being an anonymous guest at the library, to a figure that could very play prominently in Dara's life for a long time to come. Sophie had opened her arms to Dara, to show her that there was a way to live through the darkside and still have the emotions that were needed to be with someone. It was a new sensation, but Dara could already feel her heart flutter at the thought of this wonderful dark lady being with her.

They could become a tremendous force together, and Dara felt that as well. sophie was much more powerful than she was, but she had said she would teach her, train her to be more powerful. the fact that Sophie had offered to take Dara back to Coruscant with her only proved it. And she already wanted her to stay. The feeling of being wanted by another person left Dara at a loss for words, she nodded quickly and stood before the other woman had a chance to move very far, her hand holding on tightly to Sophie's. " I never felt safe on Coruscant, so I rarely stayed there, but I would love to see it through your eyes."

[member="Darth Raven"]

With her answer Sophie only said "Come with me." before leading her out of the library. Her one hand still stayed on the metal hand while the other was now folded behind her back. As she lead the twi'lek girl her cape flowed behind her; almost like a shadow on it's own. She would take [member="Dara Gola"] out of the library and, from there, eventually take her to the awaiting shuttle. Once they arrived the escorts were informed of the new guest they were bringing, none arguing with a Sith about the matter. Sophie allowed Dara to go inside first in order to explore. Eventually she would follow, indicating to the pilot that they were ready to go. from there it would eb a long, smooth trip back to Courascant. Dara had now officially stepped into a brand new world, one that would show her the more enveloped and controllable side of the darkside of the Force.

Dara followed behind [member="Darth Raven"], her thoughts and feelings were muddled and it would be easy for the other woman to feel this. Her connection to the force was strong, but she lacked the refined skill to mask herself properly. The shuttle wasn't large or grand but it was nice, and she felt special that Sophie had wanted to take her to Coruscant with her. Dara walked around the shuttle and she smiled as he saw how Sophie allowed her a moment to become comfortable before she did anything. It made her feel like that perhaps the decision was the right one and this this dark lady was exactly what she said she was. Dara turned as she felt the shuttle take off and she smiled at the woman, "Do you have your own private compound on Coruscant or do you stay in the temple?"

Dara wasn't an expert on how the current sith empire ran things, she knew that she didn't fit in when she was there so she had left in the night and hoped they didn't hold a grudge. she sat down, tryign to find a comfortable position, she was nervous and she wasn't used to traveling in any kind of style. The entire thing made her feeling out of place, regardless of the way Sophie looked at her.

Taking her back towards her quarters on the ship Raven explained "I've a room within the Temple where I stay. Though, if I so chose, I can live anywhere outside of it. As long as within Sith space. But the temple had held a lot of memories for me, and I find it a comfort to be among more students. Now that I'm a knight I'm able to train any whom I wish. Sometimes I hold classes with the younger acolytes. But with you, my dear Dara, I intend to teach on a more personal level."

Eventually they came to her quarters. It was a simple enough room with a bed, a closet and a desk. Nothing special. But it was cozy enough. The view of the space outside added a nice relaxing feel of the place. Once they were inside Sophie removed her robe, revealing the rest of her outfit underneath. Her tight white button down shirt, her long dark skirt and dark stockings with black heels. And on her waist was a belt where her lightsaber hung.

As she did she gestured to [member="Dara Gola"] "Please, sit. Relax. Enjoy yourself."

She was fascinated with the entire situation, she felt special and it made her happy, even through all of the confusion of the situation. she was listening to [member="Darth Raven"] as she spoke, and she was smiling slightly as she was told she would get personal training. She really did feel like the connection between them was there, she felt it every time Sophie spoke, the way her words seemed to flow across her skin like silk.

The room they entered wasn't especially grand, but it was in perfect order and it had a view of space the likes of which Dara had never seen. She walked to the window for a second and peered out into the blackness. it seemed to her that there was nothing but darkness in the galaxy and it was just about finding a way to shine within this darkness that defined a person, like the millions of stars outside. She turned as sophie took her robes off and she saw the outfit that she was wearing, it was elegant and sexy all at once and it made Dara very self conscious about the normal clothing that she wore. Her brown pants and vest were dirty and well used, and here she was with this beautiful woman that had somehow decided that she was worth pursuing. She took a seat on the small chair by the desk and she looked up at the refined lady she was in the room with, "I do have a question, one that I have been thinking about since i agreed to come with you. Why me? What's so special about me that you want to be with me?" She was curious more than anything and she wanted to know how it was that she was so important to someone so powerful.

Walking over towards the bed she sat on the foot of it while hearing [member="Dara Gola"] give her question. Calmly she said "Would you believe it's more about our connection? Often Sith Lords will find suitable apprentices based on their personalities or age. Some even go purely by what species or gender they are. I chose to see it as any apprentice will do as long as the master can relate to them. And, as said before, we've already seen how much you and I are alike. I'm hoping that will help as I guide you through to control of the darkside." Sensing her thoughts she added "You do not need to worry about clothing. I've plenty for you to wear. Unless you'd like me to help find something more....fitting." she added with a smirk and a cocked eye.

Dara nodded, that made perfect sense to her, the connection she felt was strong and their similar pasts meant that they would have many similarities that would make explaining things easier for both women. She never did get to ask that question to her former master, and she always assumed that he was just a lecherous perv that wanted her for more than her skills, but that never happened. Dara smiled and it felt natural to do so around Sophie, something she never felt normal donig, ever. She blushed a bit as [member="Darth Raven"] mentioned her clothing, she really did feel like a pauper in the clothes she wore compared to the elegant and stylish clothing Sophie wore. "You have to understand that I have never had such things to wear and you look so amazing. i would welcome any help you wanted to give me, including whatever you feel is 'fitting' for me to wear." she knew exactly what the meaning behind that last comment was, and she didn't care, she felt different when she was in Sophie's presence and she wanted to make her new master happy.

A more bemused smile was on her face. Compassion was key with [member="Dara Gola"] the more Sophie began to realize. It was a need that she had no received from anyone in a long time. Part of her felt sory for the twi'lek and how no one would bother to show her compassion in the least. At least this had a ore favorable outcome, that she was willing to trust and give so much to her as repayment. Sophie would find enough for her to give in return for her generous nature.

"Good." she cooed. Her hand rubbed the empty space at the foot of the bed next to her, saying "Care to join me?"

Dara smiled and stood for the two steps it took for her to move across the small room. The bed was wonderfully soft, she wasn't sure that she had ever been on a softer bed. the sheets were soft in her hand and she hoped that the bed she used when she was visiting Sophie would be as soft. she was feeling happy and she knew that it was because the woman next to her was willing to help her. " This is the softest bed I've ever sat on." she said. She was trying not to think about how dirty her clothing was and if it was going to ruin the sheets as she sat there. The closer she got to [member="Darth Raven"] the more the realized that they had started in similar situations , but they ended up going in opposite directions. Sophie was moving forward and her clothing and the power she wielded was proof of that, while she was moving backwards, towards the end of the road.
