When Day is Night

Faith was trying to move through the halls of the building with a bit more speed she had two new agents waiting in her office, Ana had already said they were early and she was late.

Faith smiled as she nudged her way through, "I"m sorry excuse me" Captain Lindsey behind her, "mam we could just"

Faith glared, "No...we can get there fine"

She pushed through until the crowd finally parted and let her out, the Director of Health and Education had this mini marathons for all the staff of the Republic who wished to participate Faith kept to her own routine. But this morning it seemed every office sent their staff she was going to have to watch those announcements more for when they were to begin.

Finally coming through the doors of her own office Ana opened the door to her inner office, "Their names are [member="Romeo Sin"] and [member="Max Fel"] "

Faith stepped in a little out of breath but still immaculately dressed.

"Morning" She smiled and entered looking at them both, "Thank you for coming on such short notice and, cafe? Tea?" Faith looked to the door, "Ana I need breakfast," she looked to Romeo and Max, "food?" She exhaled ok....as she came to them she extended her hand in greeting.

Waiting for [member="Faith Organa"] had been nerve-racking. This was a career opportunity that Max couldn't miss, and the fact that it would be decided by not only a senator, but also the minister of intelligence had his heart fluttering. Someone of his class joining the Intelligence may give him a jumpstart, but then again, he was an oddity. A Fel who is almost certainly force sensitive joining the Republic? He wouldn't be surprised if secret police were to come out just then and arrest him.

Upon sighting Organa and her kind words, however, much of the anxiety was alleviated. He shook her hand carefully.

"Oh, a water if possible, ma'am."

"I'm Faith Organa, Minister of Intelligence." She looked to the door, "Ana please bring water, don't be nervous I don't bite promise, sit down take a breath and tell me a little about yourself" She wanted to know about him because truth of it was if she sent him on a mission and he was...lost she'd have to tell the family. So if he told her about himself she would know something of him.

She tried to know a bit about everyone she slipped into the chair behind her desk sitting straight as she had been taught, folding her hands neatly on top the desk she looked from Max to Romeo, least she thought she had the names to the right people.

Max took a seat, adjusting the chair. He wasn't sure how much to tell, but then again, intelligence would find out anyway.

"Well, I was born and raised on Bastion. I won't lie, I've had a pretty privileged upbringing, really missed the palace initially. I spent some time deciding on what direction I wanted to go in life. My parents probably expected me to go to the Jedi Order, but... One thing led to another and here I am. I want to make a difference, but most of all I want to strive for what my ancestors' valued. The Republic is a pretty good fit, so I joined up. I'm not sure where this will lead me, but I'm ready."

Romeo watched the transactions of socializing commence before him, unsure how to exactly speak to someone of such noble heritage. He had did some research before ever entering this, Organa's hailed from Alderaan many hundreds of years ago. It seemed the blood was still strong in these people. The last name Fel was not without it's own merit either, the Fel Empire was once a strong imperialistic government. Max, and Romeo were one in the same. Both expected to become Jedi, neither following that path.

The Vahla smiled softly in his tattered robes, he wasn't alone. He kept his hood down in show of respect, his long black hair that was kept in a ponytail slung over his shoulder expressed highlights of white now. Romeo wondered when this began to happen. Keeping to himself, he listened carefully to the exchange of words.

"Good, I'm glad you came to us. Bastian you say, I've heard tales of Bastian." Faith looked over to the other young man in her office, "And you are Romeo is that right? So tell me something about yourself Romeo..please"

She was very pleased with both of these young men they were bright and willing they would be excellent in the field, she just had that feeling they were resourceful in ways that the agency needed.

Romeo titled his head as she questioned him about speaking on himself. What was there to say about himself? "Uh, not sure what to say. Memory loss and all." He took a drink of the water as he felt the interview becoming a little over his head. "Romeo Sin is my name, I devote my time to being a disciple in the Weave, an aspect viewed by Lucents, which I was pretty much raised by. I don't remember much...or well..any of my childhood so I can't give you much on my parents. Oh! Maybe this will help! I'm Vahla?" Romeo took another drink of the water, unsure what it was she wanted to know as he did not know himself.

"Well gentlemen let me tell you that the two of you are to be our deep operatives. We have two fronts the Republic is faced with both are Sith in nature. We need to find out what they are planning so we can react. This can be approached in two ways, each of you take on a front, or you work as a team. I'm in the process of obtaining some gear specifically designed for the work I'd like you to do."

She stopped to breath to let what she was saying be heard, "if you have any suggestions, or need anything to accomplish your mission, let me know I'll find a way to get it." She'd barter with the Finance committee till she was blue if she needed something for them.

[member="Caius Flavian"] for your awareness

First impressions so far were positive for Max. Faith had appeared friendly and willing to offer assistance, and Romeo seemed quite a capable operative. He was sure the missions he was to do would be challenging, so he was eager to ask some questions.

"Thank you, minister. I do have a couple of questions on operating structure and procedure if you don't mind. Firstly, I presume there may be a time where, if I do indeed infiltate the enemy forces, I may be pressured to commit certain... acts. Do we know what limitations I am under regarding that? Also, in the likely event that our operations coincide with Republic armed forces, is there a rank to refer to ourselves, or are we fully autonomous and not to accept orders?"

He sat forward slightly, intrigued to here the response.

Faith had to think about an answer to [member="Max Fel"] , "What kind of certain acts are you thinking of?" She may be thinking of something totallly different than what he did. Nowas for being in the field with the Republic, she had not thought about that particular scenario.

"You know Max, that second question, we are a civilian organization. We hold no ranks within the military. However, I would say if Supreme Commander @willem forlon gives you an order you follow it."

Faith had been evolving in her role as Minister, no more was she just the figure head. The job was growing
