Lumi Snow
love, hope, and peace conquer all
The doctor pulled back and watched as Ryn tried to move around--and the inevitable shock that followed after surgery and his continued injuries resulted in his collapse. He suddenly went cold--it was not like she couldn't see him anymore, but he became even dimmer than before. Almost--almost non-existant. Lumi grit her teeth in furstraiton, he was trying to hide something or hide himself and that was.... well, strange. And irritating.
The doctor heard the sound of the feline type-creature cough.
"He has lost blood, through the lungs, probably cause--" LAINA explained from Lumi's earpiece.
The Doctor quickly retrieved a linen from a nearby table, "I am going to have to ask you to calm down, Mr. Dhal, your going to do more damage now than I can replair if you keep this up. I am a doctor, not a miracle worker."
Then she felt his colors again, flying through the air like glittering sparks. She could smell freshly baked bread, the smell of grass, the feeling of rolling down a grassy hill. Rolling, rolling, rolling.... Lumi could feel herself get dizzy and nauseous. She gripped the metallic table and braced herself to keep form falling over. The doctor shook herself back into the moment.
"--and for saving me," he said.
She blinked twice and managed a smile, "N-no problem, not at all. It's what doctors do, after all."
The ambulance came to a halt.
"We have arrived," LAINA chimed over the speakers of the speeder.
She heard the door open automatically and felt the fresh air on her face.
"Come along," she said walking toward her ship, "let's get you something to eat."
She wasn't about to warn him against the dangers of walking again. His Force, or whatever he called it, would take care of itself, she was sure. Inside, she led him to the compact messhall. It was designed just for her and a few others perhaps.
"I must ask you not to touch anything," the doctor said slightly cheerfully as she moved in the kitchenette, "I know where everything is in this room, moving it well," she chuckled, 'That could be dangerous," she fished out a can of packaged avian meats, "I can't distinguish which feline race you are by smell alone--and your breathing of course, all felines breath at the same purrlike frequency--however I am sure you will find this ameciable," She set the packaged meat on one end of the small metallic table in the center of the room. She withdrew too cans of mixed juices and a slice of multi-vitamin bread for herself from the pantry before sitting.
"I would say a job well done," she commented before breaking off a piece of her wonder bread.
