Satara Hawk
Singing Mountain Ma'tra
The Ma'tra fell silent while [member="Azrael"] exchanged words with [member="Anastasia Rade"]. Only when he addressed her again, speaking of her family members that have fought alongside the sky people. She nodded to this, well aware of this information. All Witches knew of the deal had been made and all knew what it entailed from both end. From then, it was their choice whether they join the Mandalorians or not but most tended to make their decisions known to the clan before departing their world.
"They all make their choices whether to join you or not. Just as the way our deal with you is made, so is this decision left to their own free wills. Of course, the younger ones are most eager to leave Dathomir and see the galaxy for their own, joining battle is no different from it." Satara had done this as well, left the planet to become a Rogue Jedi and later a Jedi, trained with them and fought beside them when it was necessary. Attempting to stop anyone from leaving, even if she wanted to, would have been hypocritical.
He was curious about their origins though. "The humans of this planet were once slaves of the Paecean Empire. This was the era Allya came to the planet. She taught us how to fight, how to use the magic. She liberated us and created a legacy. But it is my belief that we were always warriors deep down though simply adapting to the life we once had because it was all we had known." When needing to take arms, all able Witches rose in their own right in a heartbeat. There was the old necessity of defending their freedom born from what Allya had taught them perhaps. But they were all brave though, battle-ready. Even Satara believed taking arms was the only options in some events. Now though, she had lost so many family members and she had become wiser than she could now think first, argue all the pros and cons of all incoming battles. Not all Witches were there yet.
Satara smiled as Anastasia spoke again, asking about spells. "Yes, there is. Allya gave us Book of Law. Each clan expended upon their own with the lessons and spells that came after her. The Hawks have their own tome though as most families create for themselves. You record your memories in, the lessons life and your enemies have taught you. It all remains on the parchment for later generations. You'll see it soon."
