Where Credits are King (open to all)

GC grabbed one of the doors of the Limo and ripped it off, holding as a kind of makeshift shield. He slowly walked over to behind the Limo where the small crowd being fired upon was. Before he could say anything a grenade of some kind was lobbed over his head, GC's sensors following it like some kind of shooting star. He turned to [member="John Ash"]. 'Name incorrect, that was not a detonator' he said as the flashbang went off.

'Proceed to building?' GC asked before looking at the unarmoured [member="Priscilla Genesis"]. 'Will provide cover' he said, holding up the door of the limo in front of her, a blaster shot hitting it a moment afterward.

She would look up to the droid, (@GC-98) hearing the ricocheting beams off of the limo, preparing to make a quick dash with the droid.

"1... 2... 3... GO!"

The former Limo driver, Priscilla and presumably the droid would be dashing across the road into the neighboring building. As they reached it, the Limo driver withdrew his blaster rifle, firing some wide-spread shots at the thugs. As they got inside, it turned out to be a music shop. Inside a guy would be sitting at the counter, some chill music playing in the background.

"Well well well, a suspicious looking woman, a droid and a guardsman. The most unusual of customers but we've all got tas-.."

As he was saying this, a bullet would smack into the glass, causing a crack to form.

"What the-..."

Another would come towards the glass, shattering it.

"Get in the back room!" He would hastily take out his keys, struggling to open the back door, but eventually getting it open. Inside was a lot of illegal drugs. Priscilla would sigh to herself, placing her hand on her forehead and look to the man.

"You know today's been a real ride for me. Tell me about the business..."

Not even a second had passed since Thraxis had confronted the new man, his Blaster Rifle firmly held alooft Thraxis deamounr quickly shifted, walking to the man with an arm opened wide, "Hey man. Let's just all calm down." he responded, his hand following the all too familiar motion as his hand rushed down to his belt, pulling out a Pistola and waving it around. His head tilted to the side as a second passed, raising the gun to his head as his finger depressed the trigger, "Two and One." he said with a chuckle, the sound of the soft sounds of gears churning and turning as the hammer let loose the ringing of Slug against Phirik, his head arching to a near snap as the slug dented through the Phirik.

For a few seocnds he looked at Albert, his body froozen stiff before snapping into movement, lucidity filling his form as he finished the rest of the comforting motion, the gun aimed at Albert's head as he deprressed the trigger once more, "Boom." he said audibly, the sound racketing with the natural 'BOOM' the gun created, the gun archign backwards into teh air, a single finger twsiting it about as he sheathed it into his belt. "Well.... Here I was wanting a peaceful resolution." he chuckeld, left and right in hopes that anyone would laugh with him. They did not.

As he bounced back and fourht he heard the words rumble, his eyes narrowing as he watched the 'detonator' come flying through the air, a smile warped across his face, malice radiating once again from his previous jovial expression. His leg arched back, time seemed to slow as he let loose a soft breath his eyes closing as he envisioned it, he was in a crowd, the sound of blaster fire swapped for the cheer of the crowd. THen his eyes flared to life, his leg twisting forward as he made contact with the 'detonator' "Hey Batter swing!" he yelled a trumphiant hit as the flash bang threw itself up in the air, a wash of confidence rushing over him as he imagined the cheer echoing as he made a homerun. But then his dreams fizzled into reality, the blinding light, the echoing scream of the flash bang as his arms slouched down, "Son of a prick." he said before letting loose a scream, his vision blurred as he shook himself back and fourht, trying to ignore the now deafing sound of the crowd.

"Damnit.... That is it!" he opened up a comm link, his voice flaring with anger. "I refuse to let her get away! All Hutt Soldiers on Nar Shadaa, there is a droid, a dude and some real fancy punkass doucebag running around! Kill the droid or the man! I want the woman alive!" he screamed, taking his time to regain his senses though little progress was being made on that front, his body stumbled back and fourth, flailing loosley on the side of the Limo as he tried to fight away the blindness, not realizing he can't kill all his problems.

Desmond walked into the streets below. It was a warzone, plain and simple. The streets were now alite with more than just neon signs. Gunfire raged throughout the walk ways and a hover car had been lit ablaze. People screamed and ran in terror as careless laser fire cut them down in place. Desmond loved every minute of it. A small smile crept across his face as chaos reigned.

The fire stopped briefly as his bodyguard Thraxis began to make demands. The princess was to be given up without a fight or more blood would flow. At least that was the gist of it. The others seem to completely ignore him. Bad mistake.

The group of targets ran for cover as blaster bolts hailed down on them. The droid ripped the limousine door free and acted as a moving shield for the others as they made their way to a nearby store. One of the mercs threw a flash bang and it exploded in a furious light adding to the chaos. Desmond covered his eyes and staggered backwards. His eyesight slowly began to return and he thought his ears were bleeding. Desmond checked them with a finger and it came way red. Now, it was personal.

Before the ball he thought he might have a little fun. He activated his stealth coat and caressed the stun knife that rested on his hip. He would seemingly diseapear into a heat shimmer. His form undetectable even by the most scruitnous scanners. It was time to test the mercenaries metal.

Lark

Saint of the Damned
Through the scope of his rifle, Lark studied the scene below. [member="Thraxis"] distracted the guards for long enough, and Lark was able to find a new position. Having the high ground was an advantage in situations like this, he could see where everyone went. Most of the people from the bar weren't as honorless as they'd have you believe, as they all defended the girl that [member="Desmond C'artyom"] ordered captured. The soldiers made sense, perhaps they still had some misguided sense of duty about helping those who couldn't help themselves. In places like this, honor would get you killed. The strong survive, that was the way things worked here. As for some others that were in the bar, Thraxis had managed to woe them to fight. That was good, it was easier to flank someone if they were preoccupied with something else.

A flashbang went off a few stories below, the flash brighter than the neon lights that ran throughout the stretch of violence. But Lark still had his eyes. As Desmond went invisible, Lark tapped his comms. "The music store," he said calmly. He looked back through his scope with the vision of a hawk, making sure his prey didn't flee through some back door or hidden exit.

(Forgive me for the sudden format change, ladies and gents.. currently in a location without a solid connection so I'm unable to use my computer. All on my phone at the moment.)

Sergeant Calderon saw an opportunity to move once [member="John Ash"] had thrown the flashbang against their assailants. After [member="Priscilla Genesis"] and the droid had taken off with the bounty hunter, he'd tap O'Connor on the shoulder and begin their movements into the same building their 'friends' escaped to.

During the quick trek across the open battlefield of a street, both special forces operators would make the most use of their enemies blindness, taking precision shots at the Hutt's soldiers with their side arms, blue bolts sourcing from the barrels of their pistols and finding their marks on atleast five of the thugs, bodies beginning to litter the streets. Valkren soon lowered his weapon to a readied stance as he picked up speed to reach the princess, John, and the droid.

Just as the pair of operators rushed into the doors, Calderon caught the word's of [member="Thraxis"].

This was about to get awhole lot more dicey. Valkren pushed his way to the group he had previously met and had dragged him and his squad mate into this situation, before speaking up.

"All of the slums are about to come crashing down on us. If we can get to an open area, I can get my team to bring the dropship we came here on around.. Get us the kark away from this district." Valkren mainly looked to John as he offered up this idea. There was no way they had the firepower to continue to run and fight an entire army of criminals; however, Valkren knew that his team always traveled with extra supplies..If he could get his designated marksman Watson, and his other assault specialist, O'Riley, they could bring the dropship around and either provide overwatch and support.. Or drop a load of weapons and supplies in which the small team'a chances of survival would have been increased substantially.

(Once again, sorry for the sudden change in format.. I'll fix it all up when I get to my computer. Had to get my post in because people were moving things fast.)

John Ash

Only by Fire do we become Ash.
The flashbang did it's job as it went off higher up in the air than he had thrown it at. In fact this made it even more effective as it was able to cover a larger area in its flash portion with no way for it to be blocked by objects. The droid had ignored his earlier mention it seemed and somehow got a door off of a car despite looking to be a service droid. As soon as the flashbang was done, [member="Priscilla Genesis"] and [member="GC-98"] had moved into the music shop behind them. The one good thing here as Alfred had keep killed by [member="Thraxis"] and everything else went to hell. He followed right behind the two into the music shop and looked around at all of the spice. Typical Nar Shaddaa, even though it wasn't illegal here. [member="Valkren Calderon"] and his fellow soldier joined them quickly and made a suggestion. It wasn't a bad idea, but they had no way out of the room except through the door they entered in.....

John had an idea. He pulled out a plasma torch he had with him today for some random reason. He went up to the door control and destroyed the panel before any other uninvited guest could follow them after recovering from the flashbang. He activated the torch and quickly welded the edges of the door so that it could not be opened back up without a lot of effort. He then pulled out a detonator with a flat bottom and set it into the doorway. He activated the sensor and primed it to explode if anyone stepped through it. He then turned to the crowd in the room and scanned things a bit. There was no windows and no other doors in the room at all. It was completely sealed off....except for the one way John planned to use to get out.

John said as he looked to everyone, " Everyone go down that hidden hatch into the tunnels running below the streets. I'm afraid you won't be able to use it though droid as its not designed for droids. I suggest you hide in the room and pretend to be deactivated. Everyone else get going down that tunnel right now. Wait for me and I will lead you out of here."

John waited for everyone to get going down the tunnel then followed them. He got in enough to close the hatch then used the plasma torch to seal it behind him in the same way he had the door. It was not going to open up at all. He then pulled out another detonator like the one before and set it up a short ways down the ladder in a hidden spot. He primed it and activated the sensor. He went down the ladder until he was almost to the bottom and did the same as before with another detonator. After he dropped down to the floor. He looked around at everyone gathered down there. They were safe for now at least.

" Follow me. We are getting out of here before they realize what we did." John said before he began to follow the straight tunnel with no side passages away from this section of the city. He kept going for some distance until he got to a fork in the tunnel. He stopped and pointed down the left path, " That way will lead you towards the hospital your friend is at soldier boys. Princess follow me. I'll be taking you somewhere safe since they know where you were going today somehow." He waited a moment for the soldiers replies then began to head towards his home and completely away from those maniacs.

OOC: This will be my exit from the thread.

As the conversation she was having with the music shop owner, who she now knew as Johnny continued, and interrupted briefly by [member="John Ash"] just as he was telling her his favourite top 10 hits of 845 BBY, she spotted the tunnel. Without even a moments notice, Johnny immediately went down the hatch. An eyebrow would arch, but still hearing the gun-fire on the street she declined to comment. As she went down, she waved a quick farewell to the droid (@GC-98) who escorted her across the street, and behind her followed the limousine driver would also go down the hatch, leaving it open, presumably for [member="Valkren Calderon"] to follow down should they choose. As she was climbing, she would sigh as they made their way through the derelict tunnels of the underground. Johnny would continue to follow John until they reached a safe distance

(Also going to be my exit. Thanks all for the good RP!)

GC-98 nodded in reply to the plan, waving goodbye to everyone. He found a smallish metal box in the back room, squeezing into it, barely enough room. If he moved his head at all the lid of the box would jiggle.

To save himself from this he powered down, hoping no one would find him. He set a timer for 10 minutes, wondering if that would be enough time for them to leave him in peace so he could exit safely.

Rashae did not like the lack of any sort of order with this. This situation; however, was the nature of Nar Shaddaa and none of this was getting her to the space port. It had her senses reeling back, threatening to surcomb to the chaos. It became difficult to determine who was the driver, who was friend, who was foe, or who was in control as the lines muddied and blurred left her little data to analyze. To one that relied on analytics, data and knowledge, this was a nightmare.

What was shot seemed to be dead and her medical talents was unnecessary. That was as it appeared. The Doctor backed away into a sheltered alcove behind a pillar as the blaster shots wildly and precisely was still being fired. Men postured and jockeyed for position for some unknown target she had little to deal with.

“How do I get to the space port?” She asked no one in particular. The fire fight had her pretty hemmed in as she shrunk down feeling particularly trapped. Trapped was not an unknown word or an unknown feeling. She hated it with every fiber of her being. The raven haired beauty had a small caliber blaster for self protection but it was rarely used. For no more reason than to feel something other than trapped, she pulled the blaster to defend her position in case some errant person thought she was easy prey.

All she could do was wait for her services to be needed or to wait for the fire fight to be over.
