"Energy shielding? That's impressive!" Braze chirped. " This is a very nice gift thank you. I'm sorry I don't have anything as nice I can give you in return. " Braze trailed thinking things over. "Actually... wait. " He moved to pick up the sheath and placed the blade in his waistband. He moved to stand up and held out a hand that suddenly drew his light saber hilt to it using the Force, he flipped it about and flourished it before tossing it up in the air. It froze mid-air and most of the parts opened up with delicate ease. Braze selected the focusing lenses, specifically a Pontite Lens.

"Here. This is something I want you to have. I need to learn how to be calmer any how and this will help keep my mind off my blade. "
Braze stated simply with a smile.

Braze felt the need to return something to me. I was confused for a moment before watching as he took apart his own lightsaber then handed me what could only be a Lightsaber lens. In fact, I knew the exact type that he handed me. As I had one on my broken saber, as well as the one I currently use. I didn't even grab it. Just lightly chuckling as I decided to question him.

"You know that the Lightsaber lens you are giving me is meant to help you right? Plus, any safeguards on your weapon could be tied to it."

Entirely confused as to why someone would take apart a saber, just to give me a piece of a weapon I already had made before. Twice.

Braze blinked hearing that t was meant to help him. " Help? Well, it won't work right without it." he reasoned simply. One might glean that Braze didn't know what his focusing lens was made of or exactly how it could 'help him'.

"I'm trying to focus on less combative means. I don't want to use my saber and if it's incomplete I can't use it. It's already set to a training set so it's a little more dangerous than a hot stick at the moment. By giving you my 'focusing' lens I will think more, and be more mindful about what I'm supposed to be 'focusing' on. " Braze explained his reasoning. "I also feel that it's something worthy enough that I own to gift to you in turn. It will resonate more with me to

remember exactly what you helped me with as well. "
Braze stated simply thinking it over.

"I don't really have any possessions aside from my clothes and gear. " Braze explained.

" By doing this I will have to find a new... 'Focus' to replace it. That will give me time and structure to do just that and really contemplate the reasons behind why I'm doing this. It will bring me a lot of help with my 'focus' I guess it's a little strange way of thinking huh?"

"This lens is meant to help calm tempers, If you still wish to give it to me, then I'll accept it."

I just couldn't believe the explanation that was given to me. The item was supposed to help hold tempers and to keep a calm mind, but it seemed to make Braze feel like he was being held back. Like it was a depressant and making it worse. I could understand, but taking a part of a lightsaber that was already made was a bad move in many people's eyes. Which is why I was adverse to taking it.

However, it was a gift, so I'd accept it all the same.

"Ah... I see... that makes... much more sense now... " He trailed thinking it over. He knew he often sought his blade as a crutch. He very often drew it because wielding it was comfortable for him. This might have been best in his case to actually step away from it now that he realized this. "Yes, I would like you to have it. " Braze assured sounding confident in his choices.

Taking the Pontite lens from Braze, I reached down with my other hand and handed the sheath to the Knife. Nodding my head.

"Go ahead, put it on. Good spot would be either your off hand thigh, or the small of your back."

For me, I took the lens and placed it into my satchel. Closing it up and clicking the clips in place. Standing from the grass, I sighed lightly, looking back at the person who I had, I believe, made a friend in.

"Hey uh... I hope we will be able to meet again."

Braze smiled and put the sheathed blade behind his back slipping it into the belt sash.

"I think we could be good friends. " Braze said and offered him his com link information as if it were the most natural thing in the world to do. "Feel free to call me whenever. "

Good Men Don't Need Rules
Braze was someone who I may have not initially marked as a potential friend. Yet this interaction I had was new, and different. There was a lot I saw in him. I reached to my side. Grabbing my communicator. Putting in some information, I then handed it back over to Braze so then he could fill out the rest of the information with how I could contact him.

"I have enjoyed this. Also, if you need a hand, or whatever, let me know."

Braze smiled a little brighter at that, his somber jade green eyes catching the faint glimmer of the twin moons that cast a silver-blue hue over the tall windy grass plains of Lothal. The night was alive with the soft rustling grass, carried by the gentle breeze that swept across the open landscape.

"Okay, I'll hold you to it then!" he chirped, his voice carrying a hint of excitement as he turned his gaze towards the horizon.

Happy to have made a new friend, Braze felt it may have been time to return 'home' as distant calls of nocturnal creatures could be heard in the distance.

With that, Braze decisively said his good byes wishing Kaleleon Kaleleon good luck on his travels.
