Who is Snoke?

I'm 100% convinced Snoke is not plagueis.

Those excerpts you posted Connor are interesting, but all they do is show us a bit of his mindset and that's been around. Doesn't really tell us anything about his origins.

I definitely believe he's Darth Plagueis. Plagueis was mentioned in E3 by Darth Sidious after Windu dies when he says "The power to cheat death is one only one has achieved" or something along those lines. His fucked up face for me is a dead giveaway. But we'll see, Disney just could have made an entirely new villain.

Who is Snoke?

Snoke is love. Snoke is life.

Snoke is the air we breath. Snoke is the water we drink.

Snoke is the peanutbutter to your jelly.

Snoke IS the cool side of the pillow.

Snoke doesn't work for the man, he is the man.

Snoke built the hospital he was born in. Snoke cut his own umbilical cord.

Snoke holds the record for most donuts eaten in a day, the fastest jigsaw puzzle in solved, and the most feared grin.

This, this is who Snoke is.

Snoke is love. Snoke is life.

And where were the spiders
I just watched the movie again. Its really obvious who Snoke is, they basically SAY it in the film. You just need to watch Snoke's mannerisms and listen to the words between the speeches to Kylo. He taught Kylo and if you read the book, they go more into this. He says that he was there when the Empire was founded, he was even there when the Empire fell. Like... RIGHT there. So if you go back and watch Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi, at 37 minutes and 14 seconds in both films, Snoke shows up. He like waves. And I think he even has a sign that says "I'm Snoke."

But that aside, Snoke is my mom.

Not his origins, but they give an idea of his age.

Personally, I'd like Snoke to be an original character. Sacrifice from the Clone Wars opens the possibility of him having just stumbled upon Korriban when young and learning of the dark side there.

Too bad that he went back to the light side.

What if Snoke is in fact Darth Maul? They made him no longer dead in canon, and he has yet to die in rebels. Think about it, within the context of the novel, him being there for the rise and fall of the empire still fits. He's the only sith / former sith left. IT MUST BE DARTH MAUL.

That would be amazing but what happened to his horns then? I honestly believe Snoke was possibly a Jedi that survived order 66, he watched the rise of the empire, and survived to watch it fall. It does say the Knights of Ren aren't Sith, possibly Snoke was corrupted to become a dark jedi and no longer believed in the republic.

Cloudburner

Perfection in human form.
Snoke is similar to Plagueis and Palpatine and he's definitely not the latter.

That leaves us with one option. Plagueis.

However his characteristics are similar to Palpatine's. Mainly due to the fact he commands the Main Villian around and is in a higher position of power than that of the main villian. Palpatine turned Anakin/Vader to the dark side, Snoke turns Ben Solo/Kylo Ren to the dark side.

Plagueis was Palpy's master.

2/3 of the movie is based on A New Hope, as it is JJ Abrams favourite Star Wars Movie.

Am I seeing something you guys aren't?
