There is no Dark Lord of the Sith currently - not any official one, at any rate.

Right now there's more or less just scattered Sith.

You could call [member="Darth Carnifex"] the DLOTS, I guess, but the majority of Sith don't answer to him.

I would say that whoever was the last Emperor of the Sith Empire(Kaine?) has the biggest claim to holding the title, as far as PC's go anyway. They had the largest following of Sith under one roof that subscribed to the idea of a PC Dark Lord.

I don't think there are many legitimate Sith Lords who would dispute Kaine's claim to the title in any case, though their reasons for not doing so no doubt vary greatly.

1. Don't care.
2. Don't put much weight into the title if someone doesn't actually enforce it on everyone.

If the Sith possessed a more rigid hierarchy like they used to we would have a Dark Lord. But right now after being laid low by the fall of the One Sith Empire in the core and the dominance of their enemies the Sith Order is licking its wounds right now. They are hiding in the shadows and most of us work together as colleagues but we're wholly separate with different factions in the Sith. For example [member="Darth Carnifex"] and myself represent a faction growing out of an Empire in the Pacanth Reach while [member="Darth Vitium"] and her own apprentice have their own dealings but we both still work together for the benefit of us all as Sith.

I think most of us agree that [member="Darth Carnifex"] is the Dark Lord - although the Sith as a whole do not answer to him, he has the allegiance of most of the active Sith Lords on the board. So, if there were such a being, he would be it. Any who care to dispute it can feel free to contact one of us, for 'correction'.

And that's not nearly as fun as [member="Silencia"] likes to make it
