Who is worthy? [OPEN]

[member="Alex StormWolf"] - It's open, so you're good :)

What was wrong with people?! Did they not know anything about how to deal with hostage negotiations?? Even Lori, that was just a 16 year old, knew the basics, at least.

Her jaw dropped open as so many started to openly attack not only [member="Khal'Kru"] , but [member="Tsaa Choka"] as well. Lori winced as she saw [member="Kurenai Yumi"] attack with Force lightning. Having never seen it in real life before, let alone have anyone holding her be struck by it before, she didn't know what to expect. She let go of the ignition switch for her jetpack and was glad that it was out of fuel. The last thing that they needed was to be blown up. "Hey!!
Quit it!! I got a jet pack on! Do you want to kill us all?!"

No doubt her words would fall on deaf ears, especially as [member="Thal"] began screaming.

But then something strange happened. Khal seemed to absorb the lightning and stop the scream from hurting their ears. What was even more amazing was the fact that he seemed to send the same lightning right back at the attackers.

Wow.

Lori didn't know whether she should be thrilled or scared. Right now she was a combination of both. Anything could happen, and still she was at the mercy of the Vong that held her. Stranger still was the fact that she was more inclined to side with the Vong than the others that made such poor attempts to rescue her. And that was due mostly to their xenophobia than anything else.

Or maybe she was just raised in a friendlier environment...

Wearing leather here in Tatooine was horrible but it was the only way to hide his signature. He wore it under his white business suit while in a MosEsiley rooftop as he waited to square a deal with a local crime boss. He was not wearing any armour but he was far from blending in. We wore jewellery and fine clothes of the skyscrapers in Nubia. Three rings in his left hand adorned by a masterfully crafted cloaked datapad that went into his forearm. He wore a white and red hat topped with linen from the old Corellia, before it broke.

He had done this number of times before, buying slaves in an auction. No matter how good the slave was auctions were never a good idea, too much attention and too many heroes everywhere in the galaxy. The CIS and [member="Darth Metus"] himself had been around these parts too, one too many times if Mythos had a guess. He knew [member="Serena"] Talon would prefer slightly less karking horrible planets in the least, force knows he did too.

The Empire however forgot to eliminate his dune outpost and it had remained there with operatives ever since the war. Mythos pulled money from this moneyless place if one could beleive it, he himself had trouble believing it. Bounty contracts, protection fees, spice runs, glitterstim runs, gun money it was all here. Mythos was especially good at slave trading, even better than good he was experienced.

In all paperwork and all looks not only was he not here, he had his hands clean even if he was. An enemy of the CIS he had never been, furthermore he respected and admired Metus, even rooted for him again the First Order, but that was an anecdote for another place.

As the action transformed into a warzone as they usually do Mythos observed through his agents from the other side of town. The Nubian Strike Force keeping a bead on the action.

It was rare to see Vong, so very rare, they would be hated everywhere in the galaxy, everywhere but under the Empire of [member="Darth Carnifex"].

Speaking to vong was not his forte, he was no [member="Judas Foster"], he lacked the vision, yet he owed them and the poor souls trying to make a living off slavery a chance to move to greener pastures... and greater money.

Mythos stepped from his seat calmly, tightened his suit and jewellery, his lightsaber to his right and blaster to his left and made his way to the luxury speeder he had in front of the house he had rented. Around him were easily two dozen paid gunmen from the underground with little to no training, they were not there to be efficient but as a status symbol, like his jewellery.

He walked with a black cane made of ebony and a lava crystal, the jingle of his earrings, golden chains and chromium pendants rhythmically accompanying his steps.

Kurenai was not certain what came next, more acting on instinct then anything else, watching as the other vong intercepted her force lighting, his suit being something different then what the other one wore. Though now with him in the way Kurenai quickly made the being her new target, sprinting forward with a fast dash that easily overcame her somewhat heavy suit of armor, arm thrusting out with saber in hand, but instead of the blade emitter facing forward Kurenai had the pommel facing the Vong.

When within 2 arms length her finger went to a small switch, the end of the saber springing forward with lighting speed, the force behind it probably on par with a shock boxer punch. She knew the Vong armor was lightsaber resistant and deflected blades quite well, yes there were many weak points in the armor to expose but she went around it in a different manner. That manner being blunt force trauma, something that armor was not always able to block, even less so when the opponent wore no helmet, but such was not all.

Sparking from the end of the saber once again was jolts of electricity, she would attempt another lighting like attack, and if the Vong tried the same kick, well she could always double the power and add her own touch. Still the ultimate goal was to get closer in for CQC, these Vong were old, and experienced in war, but when it came to traditional fighting in hand to hand Kurenai was practically unrivaled. So focused on her target the presence of [member="Mythos"] almost went unnoticed, a sensation though the force alerting the man entering the battle but for the moment not her concern. He and the other guy should be able to easily take care of the other Vong and free [member="Loreena Arenais"].
