Why yes, we do have work.

Location: Nar'Shadda Golden Nautolan Casino
Time: 2100

The Golden Nautolan Casino a bright beacon of light in the slums of Nar'Shadda, a place that the now current owners of the smugglers moon had established to show their dominance over the once proud Black Sun capital that had fallen to the republic. Well it was this and the hundreds of thousands of droids that were deployed on the planet and made sure all Red Raven operations were maintained and well protected.

It was also here that a meeting had been set up with an independent contractor who wished to get some work with the Raven criminal syndicate. Normally this was something that was beneath the. Vice President of the Ravens but she was board and had heard of the meeting from the grapevine. So she decided to take over and see the contractor herself, besides this was a very secure location and she could handle herself if it soured. So the infamous red dressed Patricia sat in a golden lounge at a table that watched a band play a smooth song.

Patricia was awaiting the arrival of one [member="Nyx"] and was hoping that this contractor wouldn't be a failure like the previous ones. The jackals and vanguard were great but independent contractors tended to do a job or two then drop off the radar for good. Sipping from a glass she sighed and watched the band play slow and soft music.

Nyx strode into the Golden Nautolan, lazily looking around, impressed. Hell of a lot better than Coruscant, anyway.
The street rat had heard of the Red Ravens, who hadn't? And what had attracted her was that the Ravens paid, and paid well.
Looking at the fancily-dressed patrons, she felt a bit. . . uncultured in her simple leather jacket and pants, and one of her hands felt the blade on her back for comfort.
She walked through, looking for [member="Patricia Susan Garter"]; the message said she would be dressed in red, so she scanned for a bit of red amongst the casino. After a minute or so, she spotted her, and put a smirk on her face as she strode over, plopping down at her table.
"So," She said simply. "You're the Raven I'm supposed to meet here. Name's Nyx."

Patricia lifted her cocktail up and took a long sip from it, she tapped her wedding ring against the rim of the glass and let out a little sigh. This was relaxing and it was nice to have a relaxing moment, it brought her back to the good old days. Before Cryax had betrayed them and she served as his executive assistant, it was something that she missed. Just the simplicity of setting a schedule and guarding a VIP, not dealing with a war with the One Sith and ACA. Though all things in good time. For now the woman she was meeting set down in front of her, she was average looking and seemed to have a good head on her. That was a good start.

"That is correct. Nyx I imagine? I'm Patricia it's nice to meet you." Patricia said as she took another sip.

Setting the glass down she tapped her fingers on the table and looked at the woman some more, she seemed practical and was armed by the looks of things. But her potential seemed to be great if she was given the right resources to work with.

"So there are a few jobs, bounties, heists, planetary control. Things of these nature, what are you interested in?" the woman said softly as the music continued to play

Nyx thought for a moment. Back on Coruscant, she was used to having a rep, used to having people know of her, if not who she was. But here, things were different. Here, she was no one, just another kid looking for work.
She had to build that rep, and earn some credits on the way.
"I'd like to hear more about the heists." She requested, leaning back and settling her arms behind her head, getting comfortable.
"That's the work I'm used to doing; not to mention, it'll help get me known."

"very well then." Patricia said as she reached beside her and grabbed a few pieces of paper.

"can I get you anything to drink in the meantime?" Patricia offered and set the papers out for the woman.

"So we currently have our main operation going on, we recently heisted a planetary reserve from the Silk Holdings home world. Now we have more confidential jobs that involve a brash project that are coming up. And we need as many people as possible, more information on that will be provided upon arrival of the job site." one did not give away all their secrets after all.

"Secondly we have a few heists that involve lesser things, we plan on taking a few things from the crippled shadow dynasty. I will be heading that operation myself, this job pays ten grand and has bonuses as well. And we have a few more in the works but nothing set in stone." Patricia said with a smile and pushed the two papers ahead.

"I do recommend the shadow dynasty one though, it will be a good run for me to test your abilities." she said and took a long sip of her drink before setting it down.

Nyx accepted the drink out of courtesy, but only took a small sip, swishing the liquid in her mouth for a moment, making sure it wasn't messed with. One could never be too careful.
However, she barely stopped herself from spewing her mouthful when she heard the amount. Ten grand?! She'd never held that much money in her hands, and now she was getting this offer?
She eagerly leaned forward, and squinted as she did her best to read the papers; as a street rat, she'd never had a formal education of any kind, and didn't know how to read until she was sixteen. Three years later, and she as still having trouble. What she could make out seemed promising, though.

She looked back up at [member="Patricia Susan Garter"], a smirk on her face.
"Well, boss, gotta say, that shadow-whatever looks pretty good to this street rat." Nyx stuck her hand out. "You got yourself a deal, boss."

Patricia shook the woman's hand and gave her a smile, reading the woman some more it seemed that this was a hell of a offer for her. It was good to know there were still humble people in the galaxy that saw a decent paying gig when they saw one. Besides this was a low risk heist as Patricia had this planned out decently, and there wouldn't be a need for bloodshed if everything went well.

"Well since we are doing this, let's get you cleaned up. If you are to be seen with the Red Ravens then you are look the part." she said and reached to her side.

Grabbing a few things she placed a thousand credits on the table along with a room key. Sliding them forward she expected the woman to take them, to be honest she smelled and looked like a thug. The ravens were a bit classier than that and the job required the woman to be dressed some what decently.

"here's a thousand credits and a room key for a place upstairs. The job is tomorrow evening so feel free to stay here tonight, buy some decent clothing. And we will also need to arm you so we'll be taking a trip to the armory." Patricia said and sat back to let the woman settle with the information and resources

Ooc: bedtime for me. We can finish this in the morning, the heists thread will also be tomorrow so I will be sure to tag you

Nyx blanched a little as she was handed a thousand creds and a key to a room. . . in the casino.
She was taken aback for the second time in just a few minutes; first ten thousand for a simple job, and now just a thousand and a room for nothing?!

And then the other comment sunk in. Decent clothing. . . She looked down at herself. She was wearing her classic jacket and some pants she had stolen from. . .somewhere. She couldn't remember where, exactly. After a moment of nostalgia, she sighed.
"Fine. . .But I'm keeping the jacket!" She insisted. There were some things she simply wouldn't concede, and her jacket was one of them.
