Wildest Dream

Being an assassin had taught Fiore to read her targets. She could tell there was something more than the cryptic words Mira was expression. Frowning, Fiore wished just for this moment she had her empathy back, it would make this entire situation easier to comprehend. There was something different and it was obvious that it dealt with more than what happened on Hoth.

"What happened? You don't feel the same, not like before. You seem cautious...I've told you already. I can't kill you. When I think about the what if, it hurts." All she had were words. "Mira. I liked your vision, of course not the end. I want to protect you."

Reaching to the clip behind her she unhooked the second saber that belonged to her. "Please take my lightsaber you gave me yours. I want you to have something of mine to keep with you...it's really all I have." Fiore didn't know why she wanted Mira to have the saber beyond the fact that she didn't have one which was the logical idea, but thinking about Mira holding something that she had created, made Fiore's heart race. Deciding that this beating around the bush was getting her no where she continued to hold out the blade and spat out quickly what was on her mind. "I want to feel what we felt in your vision. Not the end but the good parts."

For a moment, she felt something flicker within her – a spark or something, then it died down as fast as it came. Mira couldn’t describe her feelings to Fiore, cause she didn’t even know herself. Maybe she was wounded after the whole ordeal on Hoth. Maybe it was best she just throw it out there and see what Fiore thought. “You hurt me and I’ve never really been hurt like that before. You questioned me, and well – it’s like you don’t trust me.” She furrowed her eyebrows beneath her helm. “You act like I’m going to use some Force powers on you to sway you into something you don’t want or trick you and that hurts.” Ok, so she was hurt just a little bit. Once she let some of the steam off, it felt a bit better but not completely. Only time would heal the wound that Fiore left – it was sort’ve amusing considering that it wasn’t anything serious.

For Mira, it was an emotional devastation as she confessed something personal – something she wouldn’t even have thought to speak of. “I’m not worried about you killing me so much as breaking my heart.” She choked up in her voice, her eyes brimming with the usual, though Fiore would not know it. “I don’t need your protection as much as I need your assurance that you’re not going to question me like that again.” She held a hand up before Fiore could speak. “No, I can’t ask that because people sometimes do that – I just, well, I just don’t want to get hurt and you have to find your own way to make sure you don’t break my heart.”

It was that simple. Mira was a fragile individual when it came to her emotions. She wore them on her sleeve when it came to relationships with others or even family. She took everything to heart and was easily wounded at times. It was a weakness she couldn’t quite help in the end, one she tried so hard to buckle down on and get stronger with – but no matter what, it always ended up the same. She didn’t want to be hurt like she was with [member="Liam Quez"] much less move on believing that all relationships or all people were the same once they were able to get what they desired from you.

Whatever that may or may not be. She didn’t know the end game for Fiore.

Fiore had opened her mouth to protest, but was hushed by Mira’s words continuing. The Assassin didn’t really know how to respond to the Jedi who spilled her feelings out. There was something more than Fiore had realized and these emotions were something very new to her. Growing up all she had felt was resentment, hate and the desire for revenge. The feeling of warmth because of being near someone was something she had never touched on and now she was trying to deal with them along with the other emotions. Breaking someone’s heart was something she didn’t even know was possible. How had she done it before? Letting Mira finish, Fiore drew back the saber she had held out and clipped it back to her belt.

“You’re right I can’t promise you I won’t question anything. I’ve never felt drawn to someone like this before and it scares me. I-I assumed it was a Jedi mind trick of the Force, but I know it's not. I wouldn’t have felt like this after you left on Hoth.” Waving her hand in front of her face, she covered her mouth for a moment trying to put into order her understandings of her feelings along with trying her best to not offend or say something wrong again. The last thing she wanted was to see Mira walk away from her again. The thought felt like someone driving a stake through her heart. Why did she feel like this? What was it about Mira that made her feel this way. Everything, even her revenge seeking hunt on Trask seemed so small compared to her desire to just be next to Mira.

Was this that purpose that Mira was talking about? Fiore closed the last bit of the gap between them, the armor made Mira just a bit taller than her which was interesting for the most part. She had seen Mandalorian armor, but never this close up. No wonder they always looked so big on the battlefield. Her mind stopped wandering and a bit of bravado fueled her next statement, Mira needed honesty, she needed something to grasp on to. So going against her best judgement, Fiore spoke clearly and honestly with the Jedi. “Ever since Hoth, all I’ve thought about was kissing you Mira. I thought I would never see you again and knowing that you’re in front of me, just makes me want to kiss you even more.” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira tensed suddenly. She felt the brutal honesty from the words as they exited the mouth of Fiore. She had a feeling it would end up coming to something like this, was it a way to break the hardened beskar that formed a shield around her heart? Maybe. Mira turned away for a brief second, letting off a sigh beneath the buy’ce. She would swallow hard before looking back at Fiore, her hands slowly coming up to the edges of the helmet, grasping them with trembling hands. She was nervous, she had to admit that to herself. There was no doubt the adrenaline was coursing through her veins again, the anxiety causing her heart to pound against her chest cavity. Slowly, she would remove the helmet from her head and gently set it down beside her before resuming her full height. Yet again, another gulp of heightened anticipation. What was she to do? Her eyes were fixated on Fiore’s and those azure eyes were locked back on her own.

Mira held her breath for a second, before suddenly blurting out. “Just don’t hurt me, please.” It was a truthful statement, one that came from somewhere deep within her mind. The truth was, she had so much on her mind as it were – the lightsaber of Jaina Solo-Fel to study, training and Force knows what else. There was just so much clutter and emotion, Mira was a hot mess when it came to this coming to the front of the line. Fiore was special, something about her made it so – Mira would have easily let some creature devour her if she had been someone else who betrayed her in such a manner. Well, perhaps not, she was a merciful person but either way. They wouldn’t be standing before her the way that Fiore was now.

Not like this.

Usually in most cases people think things through, they usually have the next step figured out and if they don’t have that step figured out by the time they do the first step they figure it out. Fiore on the other hand, despite her ability to think quickly and react just as if the Force continued to guide her. She had nothing, especially after Mira’s quick response. She couldn't promise that she’d never break her heart - it wasn’t logical. There were things that were out of their control, but Fiore knew she would and could do her best not to do something that horrible to the Jedi. Remaining quiet, Fiore found her mind becoming lost in the crimson orbs of this girl.

“I won’t.” It wasn’t a promise, it was a vow more than anything. Looking up, she found it still entertaining that the girl was now somewhat taller than her. Still, with the aid of standing on her toes Fiore was able to be eye level with Mira for just a moment. She brushed the tips of her rough finger tips as gently as possible against the flawless face of the woman she knew she shouldn’t harbor feelings for. Her dedication and servitude to the Templars seemed so small compared to what was occurring. Personal feelings moved to the front of the Assassin’s agenda and mind. Two hands grasped the sides of Mira’s face gently, fingertips beginning to weave through the girl’s brunette locks. Fiore waited for what seemed like forever and she brought her face close and pressed her lips against Mira’s. Her lips were tender, just as she had remembered. Eyes closed as she attempted to do her best to bring the girl closer, in hopes it would be an affirmation of her own feelings or whatever it was that drew her to the Jedi.

Everything else didn’t matter anymore, this was what she wanted, what she felt. If this was the will of the Force than so be it, even if the Force chose to try and pull them apart - Fiore knew she would destroy anything that kept her away from Mira. A moth to a flame.

Mud.

Mud was the first thing that crossed Mira’s mind as the hands of Fiore grazed her cheeks. She would chuckle softly as the semi-wet earth spread across her slightly bronzed flesh. An eyebrow would raise as Fiore took her hands through her hair. She could feel the moment building, the same as it did on Hoth. Her heart began to beat hard and rapidly in her chest, adrenaline began to pump through her veins. Cheeks would start to turn the same shade of crimson as her eyes. As Fiore closed in for what would be the inevitable kill, Mira closed her eyes and waited with an anxious breath. When the soft lips of the would be Jedi assassin touched her own, everything exploded within her mind. Passion and desire raced across her neurotransmitters like a shooting star. She was blinded by the embrace of flesh between the two of them.

Her own hands would come up, armored and cold – grasping the edges of Fiore’s chin to draw her into her. Of course, it was a difficult task considering the height difference as well as the armor she wore but it was feasible. She would press into the kiss only for a moment before pulling away, letting her lips linger against Fiore’s just briefly. Her hands dropped down to her side, as she took a step back – pulling completely from the embrace. She took a deep breath and began to discard her armor, which was a painstaking process but none the less, worth it considering the heated moment. Her eyes remained fixated on Fiore as she broke down each piece. The clanking of beskar being discarded echoed through the opening in the forest as Mira finally got down to nothing but her bodysuit.

A hand would come up to touch the zipper at the base of her neck, but then it would fall down abruptly. Mira’s gaze diverted from Fiore for just a moment looking around the area where they were before she turned back to her and chuckled. “Not really what I had imagined…”

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore tried her best to keep the kiss going as long as she possible could, only the Force knew when she was going to be able to kiss the Jedi again - that also relied on if she was going to let her. Mira pulled away finally and Fiore stood there with her face flush and looking slightly confused. Somewhat proud of herself, Fiore realized she learned how to breath while kissing the other girl. It seemed those holoyatube vids really knew what they were talking about. Touching her own lip lightly she could still feel the burn that she felt when she had touched them against Mira’s.

Said lips parted as she wanted to say something when Mira had pulled away, some sort of protest, but she was transfixed watching the girl remove herself from her armor. Piece by piece the armor was laid on the ground and there stood Mira. The girl returning to her normal height and was now eye level with Fiore. Holding her breath, she watched as Mira reached up for the zipper of her bodysuit and then stopped. Making mention of something she didn’t expect and Fiore looked around. The pack she had brought with her had the supplies for the night. She had planned on camping out in the cave for the evening knowing that it would be the safest place to stay in the middle of Kashyyyk’s wilds. Her camp was perfect for a longer stay, but with the smell of a kill - the camp was lost to the wild.

“What were you expecting?” Remembering something that she had read back at the Templar base, she moved behind Mira and pinched the zipper handle between her fingers. Slowly, she unzipped the body suit just above the middle of her back. Pulling a piece of the fabric from against the Jedi’s porcelain skin, she leaned forward and lightly brushed her lips against the girl’s back. Spreading kisses from the base of Mira’s neck to where the zipper had stopped being pulled on. Fiore waited a moment, to see the reaction of the girl. It was hard to control whatever primal instincts that were flowing through her, adrenaline, hormones - everything telling her to proceed, but she needed to make sure this was something that they both wanted.

The time also gave a moment for Fiore’s brain to catch up and think logically...[member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira chuckled softly at the question.

And then it happened.

She felt the lips pressed against her bare flesh, against her neck and down across her shoulder blade. She felt Fiore work her way across the right to the left, pulling the fabric down slowly. At first, Mira tensed up – her nerves on edge s she didn’t know exactly what to expect. She could feel her heart pounding so hard, it hurt her head. Her arms came up to catch the ebony webbing from falling below her bosom and exposing her to the world. She held it there, wrapped between both her arms. She craned her neck to look over her shoulder at Fiore, her voice but a whisper. “Something a bit more romantic?” She said with a hopeful tone in her voice. Mira knew that was unlikely considering – but all was not lost completely.

Her cheeks were flushed a dark shade of red – the blood pressure rising higher and higher. At times, she felt like she was going to pass out. She turned away from Fiore and motioned with her head towards the edge of the clearing. “My pack is over there, has some…supplies in it.” Some supplies was a light term. Inside the pack was a plastent, water filtration system and wide variety of survival tools. She continued to hold up the armorweave body glove around her chest, slowly taking a seat with a chuckle. “I’ll leave that to you of course.”

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Keeping her lips close to the girl’s bareback, she looked up catching Mira’s glance as she mentioned romance. Fiore lifted her head and pondered for a second, her mind drawing connections, romance meant something nice, something mood setting. Nodding, she moved towards the pack as quickly as she could, she stumbled slightly over her own two feet, something uncharacteristic for the Assassin. Going through her own pack and Mira’s she pulled out everything she needed. Quickly blowing up the Plastent, she set it at the right angle towards the entrance of the cave. Looking up she counting on her fingers and then continued to adjusted according to her own calculations.

The cave would be getting cold soon so she had pulled the pieces of wood she had picked up while on the trip here. Propping them up in an upside down cone shape, she lit it quickly with a starter and the end of the lightsaber Mira had given her. It seemed fitting to the use the weapon. Unclipping the belt from around her waist she tossed it into her pack and then pulled out a few blankets. She mostly put them inside of the plastent and then laid more on a mat she had brought that lifted the blankets up a few inches off the ground like a small bed. The fire roared and everything was finally set up in a few hours time. It wouldn’t have taken so long if Fiore wasn’t constantly taking the time to readjust everything.

Once she was finished she put her hands on her waist and smiled. Sitting down, she glanced up to the opening of the cave and nodded. It was perfect, well to her it was - the real test was for Mira to test it out. Moving towards where Mira had been sitting. Fiore looked around for a second and then scooped up the Jedi the best she could. The girl’s arms would be too preoccupied with keeping the body suit on against her chest, so Fiore would have an easy time taking her to the right spot on the makeshift bed she had made outside of the tent. Inside of course things were set up for sleep, but there was some sort of beauty of the night sky out in the wilds.

She sat Mira down and took a place next to her and looked towards the mouth of the cave. Looking towards the sky, she pointed out to it. “When I was younger, I used to sleep out of my tent especially when I wanted to see the stars. Kashyyyk is one of those planets where you can see most of the stars and systems in the sky.” Looking back towards Mira, who’s face was illuminated by the campfire and the moonlight that caught the right angle into the cave further adding a touch of light against the campfire. Fiore caught her breath for a moment as she stared at Mira almost with new eyes. “You’re beautiful” Hoping she made this as romantic as possible especially with their circumstances. As Mira was moved, she remained tense.

What else could she do?

She kept the bodyglove tight over her chest, perhaps out of fear or maybe just an overwhelming sensation of shyness. She wasn’t sure. She could feel Fiore having an aura of relaxation about her person, no longer confused or stressed. It was weird for Mira to feel that coming from the girl who not only a few hours early was so conflicted – but it was a welcome one. Now, it was Mira who was the shy one. Mira sat up a bit and stared at the fire, blinking a few times before she looked to Fiore and chuckled softly, one arm falling away from her chest to wrap about Fiore’s arm. She would lean her head in and rest it upon her shoulder. “No, I’m not.” She chuckled.

She felt a comfort when she was close to the other girl, a warm sensation that she couldn’t quite describe. She held herself there for a moment before sitting up again, pulling her arm away from Fiore and propping herself up with it. Her left arm was literally clutching the life out of the armorweave, keeping it up against her bare breasts – concealing them from view. One reason or another, she felt an overwhelming sensation of nervousness. Not even [member="Liam Quez"] got this lucky or far. She looked up to the sky, to the array of speckled stars across the sky. It was like someone threw glitter across a black canvas – quite a beautiful scene. “Now that is beautiful.” She muttered.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Contact was something that still baffled Fiore, Mira wrapped herself against the assassin’s arm. The closeness was something she usually feared, to feel someone this close to her usually threw images of possible assassinations, but with Mira she felt a warm and a calm wash through her. She was right, there was something about this Jedi, something special and that's why she couldn’t remove her from this life. There was a beauty to all of it and Fiore knew why she couldn’t follow through with what her original plan on Hoth was.

“I hope this is everything you were expecting.” A sheepish grin moved across Fiore’s face as she shrugged slightly. “I did my best.” Looking back up towards the night sky that loomed over them she sighed softly. It was true there was a calm with this planet, despite the horrible things that had occurred on it through history. There was always a bright side of things and in Fiore’s case despite her shooting down and almost killing Mira - the girl was here holding onto her. Nothing was going to happen to her and Fiore made a silent promise to herself and to Mira.

Instincts and internal emotions swirled inside of her and began to guide her next step. Logic and over thinking were soon out the door and she was left with only the rapid beating of her heart. Remembering Mira’s request about not breaking her heart, Fiore knew now that she couldn’t imagine ever doing that. There was an epiphany of her own feelings and knowing how she felt - she proceeded. Shifting her body slightly, hoping she didn’t disturb Mira too much. Looking at her, Fiore inhaled deeply and sighed as she reached with her free hand and ran it against Mira’s face, slowly letting it trail down to the hand that clutched for dear life at her armorweave. Letting the hand rest on top of hers, she wrapped her fingers gently holding the hand the best she could. Fiore leaned in and paused just before their lips touched again and whispered softly, “Let me show you how you make me feel...” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira looked over at Fiore as the woman scooted closer to her, and brought her hand ontop of her own. Her fingers interlaced between armorweave as she looked down at it and then to Fiore. A weak smile creased her lips as she allowed Fiore to take the armorweave from her and within her grasp. Mira return the soft kiss and leaned head against the other woman’s. She admitted that she felt a sense of comfort around Fiore, and that the moment was right. Odd enough considering the circumstances. Mira closed her eyes gently and chuckled lightly, her hand coming up from propping herself up, it would rise up to rest upon the cheek of her lover. The emotion was right, the sensation was overwhelming and she felt that she could do this – all she needed was the push.

And it felt as if Fiore was going to provide that push.

She felt the weight between them shift, the weight of Fiore coming closer to her form as Mira’s free hand gently unwrapped the hand of Fiore from the armorweave. As the cool air of the Kashyyyk night brushed across the bare flesh of her bosom, Mira shivered lightly. She sought warmth, perhaps with a passionate embrace between herself and Fiore – perhaps in the arms of Fiore as the armorweave fell loosely around her waist. Mira shifted closer to her and kissed her soft lips, gently and briefly at first – then worked her way into a full, passionate lip-lock. She inhaled through her nose and exhaled slowly as her hand continued to clutch the delicate flesh of Fiore’s cheek. Whatever happened from this point, was up to the assassin, if anything at all.

Mira was completely surrendering herself to her.

Mind, body and spirit.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

There were nerves, lots of them and Fiore was more aware of them now that every single one decided to come alive at the same time. The armorweave fell from Mira’s grasp as well as Fiore’s. She had never seen anyone else besides herself like this and she felt her skin on fire as Mira touched her face. It was a good thing they had kissed or something stupid might have come out of Fiore’s mouth. Passionate and eager, the kiss made her a slave to her emotions and there was nothing more she wanted in this galaxy than the Jedi girl. Arms move around the girl pulling her closer. Fiore broke the kiss and looked at Mira as she caught her breath and smiled while her fingers peeled away the armor weave from Mira, revealing her further.
No words could describe what was going through her head or how she felt this very moment. Quickly, she struggled with the shirt she wore and pulled it off quickly tossing it aside. Fiore’s body type contrasted with Mira’s. Obvious scars from fights growing up in the wilds of Kashyyyk scattered along her flesh along with faint lines of toned muscles. No one saw her like this, not even in the Order. She couldn’t be shy, she had to fight it. Moving close again, she somewhat regretted doing this outside, it was cold. Standing strong against the chill, she slowly guided Mira down onto her back. Fiore remained close, moving her body over Mira and staring down.
Beauty was mesmerizing, she couldn’t get over how someone like this was with her right now. She usually had the ability to scare everyone away, keep them at a distance or they do it to her. Ever since she was a child - never did she have a friend or someone to be close to. Her mind suddenly went a mile a minute, wondering what would happen next, where would they end up, and how this moment would change their lives forever.
She felt it, she felt Mira fully give herself up. There was something magical about that feeling, usually Fiore only felt this moment when she struck the killing blow against a target. They usually had a look of peace especially with the Jedi, it was as if they accepted their fate and gave into it entirely. The way Mira gave herself was different, this was trust and Fiore leaned down, brushing her lips against the girl’s neck, pressing her body against the other girl, while her hands held tightly onto her hips. Fiore closed her eyes and continued to care for the girl that trusted her with her entire existence.

...would you lie here with me...and just forget the world…

Passion.

Desire.

Powerful emotions coursed through her mind as it collided with waves of satisfaction. Fingernails dug into the wool of the bag beneath her barren form, her back arched ever so slightly – yearning for more. Her mouth opened, a soft gasp and a light plea to the skies above – to the Force, to whatever cosmic powers that would hear her. A momentary lapse of pain, a sharp sensation that rippled through her abdomen but quickly replaced by overwhelming pulses of pleasure. Her mind was racing, sending neuro-activity in every which direction it could. Focus was impossible – the moment was approaching, a sensation that she had never felt before. It was like a moment where she lived life on the edge, and then an explosive force knocked her off and sent her into a freefall. She felt a sense of weightlessness, a euphoric feeling that shattered within her very core.

Every muscle in her body felt tense, her stomach tightening and jaw clenching before she let out a cry that echoed through the forest. Then came the calm after the storm, her body aching as she collapsed against the sleeping bag – a dizzy sensation overwhelming her. Her eyes opening slowly to stare at the night sky above. She hadn’t realized it but she dug her nails into the fabric so hard, they tore small divots into the very fibers. There was a first time for everything and needless to say – the first was the most powerful for her. Sweat would bead her forehead regardless of the cool air that blew over her bare form. Her breath was ragged and her heart still thumped hard against her chest.

‘So that was what everyone bragged about so much?’ Mira let off something of a half-hearted, almost lazy chuckle as she lay there, feeling dead to the world around her.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Fiore felt every movement from Mira, it felt as if everything in the area functioned as one entity. Sighing softly, Fiore looked up as Mira spoke finally. A smile spread across her face as she brushed her lips against Mira’s for a moment. Looking back towards the sky that was above them she did a little math in her head and grinned. “The night is still early.” Standing up, Fiore fixed her hair and stretched slightly. The position she was in somewhat strained her already sore from her little adventure with Mira earlier today. There was an addiction and she couldn’t stop, leaning over to the girl she pulled her into another kiss and then nodded towards the tent she had made.

“Its only going to get colder.” Ignoring any sort of struggle, Fiore scooped her lover from the makeshift bed they had made and tossed Mira over her shoulder. “I plan on having you the rest of the evening if that’s alright.” Moving into the tent, she put the girl back on her back, and became lost in the euphoria she had created.

Don’t you want to hold each other tight
Don’t you want to fall asleep here with me tonight?
The morning came faster than one could expect. Fiore opened her eyes as the sun crept through a small slit in the doorway of the tent. Groaning, she tilted her head up and glanced towards its direction noticing she had forgotten to finish zipping up the doorway. Her head fell back on the bundle of clothing that had been her pillow for the night. The tent seemed cramped and she looked over and saw a mess of brown hair, looking down she noticed the lack of clothing and their legs entangled. Feeling for her left arm, she realised it was residing as a pillow for Mira’s head and neck. Remembering the evening, Fiore smiled and brought her body back close to Mira as she pulled her tightly in an embrace. The feeling of Mira in her arms and against her was something new, something special and she couldn’t get over the high she felt. Nuzzling her face softly into the other girl’s hair she sighed softly and fell back asleep.

[member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira muttered softly. "Five more minutes..."

She snuggled up against the naked form of Fiore, pressing her head further into the bosom of the other woman. Her disheveled hair concealing her facial features, an arm wrapped over the chest of the assassin who not only captured her heart but managed to break down the beskar barrier around her emotions. She felt the movement by Fiore and whimpered softly, adjusting herself a bit in order to get closer to the warmth of Fiore’s skin. The night prior was exhausting and long – and Mira was left sore in the end. She was overwhelmed with comfort and an overall sensation of security where she was. Mira rustled again beneath the covers and against the embrace of Fiore, slowly coming to. There wouldn’t be words, just a slow realization of where she was and perhaps even what had transpired the night before.

Memories played over and over again in her mind as her garnet eyes blinked behind chestnut locks that concealed her face. Her eyes stretched a bit wide as she snapped up and unwrapped herself from Fiore. She brought the covers over her bare form and looked down at Fiore and then to herself, wincing slightly at the minor abdomen stiffness and stinging sensation as she shot up. “What in the hell happened?” She wasn’t drugged, she knew full well what happened. It was a stupid question – more so for her own personal confirmation. She felt different, a lot different. She simply stared ahead, before pulling herself out of the covers and out into the middle of the plastent. There was no point in concealing herself now – Fiore had seen everything, done everything.

Mira brought a hand to her face and groaned loudly before gathering a few items, and rushing out the tent without saying another word. The pain in her stomach was minor compared to injuries she felt before – what was that from? She remembered something from the night prior – who knew. She headed towards the river, clutching the bathing supplies in her arm. As she walked passed a line that Fiore had obviously set up for articles of clothing and such, she snatched a towel off of it and kept moving without missing a beat. No words spoken, just movement.

[member="Fiore de Noir"]

Mira stirred awake and Fiore continued to sleep. The Assassin was usually an insomniac, but there was something comforting holding Mira as they slept. Of course when Mira sat up quickly and asked what had happened, Fiore couldn’t stay asleep any longer and blinked her eyes open and stretched where she was laying. She wasn’t as awake as Mira was and seemed rather confused at the girl’s movements. Before Mira stood up and darted out of the plastent, Fiore reached for her hand - only to grasp at fingertips as she left the sleeping quarters.

Letting her arm fall at her side she sighed softly, she coudln’t read Mira - not right when she woke up but seeing her run out like that seemed odd. Sitting up, she ran her hand through her straight brunette hair and sighed again. It was an odd feeling sleeping for so long, her body ached and her jaw seemed tight. Opening her mouth, she pressed her fingers and her thumb at both ends of her jawline and wiggled it a bit.

After feeling a bit better, she let her hands fall into her lap as she stared at the doorway. Did something go wrong? Did Mira not want what happened last night to not happen? Another sigh and a pout as she worked up the energy to climb out from under the covers. There was a different scenario pictured when they woke up worked out in Fiore’s mind - this was far from it. She scratched the back of her head as she freshened up a bit and pulled on the tight elastic material shorts she wore under her pants and finished putting on the rest of her underclothing.

What was so alarming when her lover had woken up this morning? Fiore continued to rack through her brain as she exited the tent and saw toiletries and a towel missing. Remembering the location of the waterfall she pondered about following. Weighing her options she figured it was more beneficial if she went and checked on the girl. Grabbing a towel herself along with a change of clothing, she headed towards the river.
Was something wrong with what happened? She came up on the river and called out for Mira. “Mira? You okay?” [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira was well into the water, chest deep in-fact. The sound of the rushing waterfall drowned out the noise of the world for the most part, save for the calling out by Fiore. She took a moment to look back at the girl and then back to the waterfall before ducking under the rapid flowing water. The beading sensation of the water against her head and shoulders was comforting, soothing even. She allowed the cold, refreshing water to calm her mind and help her focus. As her chestnut locks began to absorb the water and become matted down – she pushed them aside and eventually behind her. She would pull herself from the flow of water, inhaling deeply before returning to it. For a moment or two longer, she soaked beneath the falls. Mira then found the rocks behind the falls a good place to stand and lather herself up, muttering something to herself. She felt a bit frustrated, perhaps even embarrassed.

The Force only knew why; it wasn’t she was ashamed by what had happened – maybe she didn’t expect it. Maybe she felt it was too soon? Maybe it was just a jumble of emotions afterwards that were completely unexpected. Perhaps, a mixture of everything. Soaped up and ready to get it going, Mira dove back into the water and proceeded to rise beneath the falls, allowing the water to consume her again – rinsing the soap from her completely. After a few minutes, she was done and emerged from the waterfalls. She swam towards Fiore slowly, keeping her eyes diverted from her for the moment, it got to the point where she would have to stand – and she abruptly stopped and looked to Fiore with dodging eyes.

“Can you hand me the towel please?” She said, gesturing with a dripping hand to the towel that was folded on the embankment.

Fiore watched Mira as she finished her bath, she didn’t need empathy or anything of the Force to know something was on her mind. It would be nice to be able to read it, mostly so that she could quickly fix it and they could go back to how things were the night before. The short time that was spent in silence, Fiore went crazy. She had been able to suppress the voices through the night and most of the day before, but right now it was becoming a struggle. Her mind was a place no one should ever venture into, a tangled web of darkness and damage from the Phobis Device. She had to fight them off a bit longer - the last thing she needed was Mira to once again fear for her life.

Silence was broken and Fiore was addressed. Though not addressed by her name, but because she was the only other person there. Mira wouldn’t look her in the eye and it frustrated her to the fullest extent. How could someone act like this when they had just shared the evening together - being so close - risking everything and giving up your soul to the other. Knuckles white as she gripped the towel and fought the urge to say something. She handed her the towel and looked away. So many questions ran through her head, but there was one that was very prominent and she had to ask it.

“Why won’t you look at me? Did I do something wrong?” Her voice strained with frustration as her eyes finally fell back on Mira. Would last night be the one and only time this happens? Did she give her vulnerability to someone who in the end would leave her? [member="Mira Rekali"]

Mira took the towel from Fiore, slowly rising from the water and wrapping the cloth about her form. A sigh escaped her lips as both hands rose up to her hair and grabbed handfuls within her grasp. Her eyes closed and she clenched her teeth as she began to squeeze the excess water from her chestnut locks. She walked passed Fiore and let a simple shrug roll off her shoulders. “I have my reasons; do I need to explain myself?” She smirked softly before shaking her head wildly, beads of water flying off in different directions. Mira stopped suddenly and then brought her hands up to her hair, combing through it with her fingers. “I’m not mad at you, if that is your question.” She kept her back to the other girl for the moment, continuing to mess with her hair and grumbling in frustration.

Mira bent over and flipped her head downwards, still combing through it with her fingers while speaking. “I just am getting used to what happened is all – it was sort’ve a rush. I mean it isn’t every day that sort of thing happens. I mean, it’s all just at once.” Which was nothing short of the truth. She had feelings for Fiore, that was for certain but she was still afraid and reserved. She had reason to be – it was nothing against the woman who she made live to and with the night prior, it was just who she was. Mira was always a guarded individual in some form or fashion. Mira stood up quickly and tossed her hair back behind her with a rough sigh. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have just rushed off like that or been a bit dodgy.” She turned around and placed her hands on her hips, looking to Fiore with a smile on her face. “We ok now?”
