Will the real assassin please stand up? (IC)

Beneath the face cloth, Ballen-Ist would scowl, disgusted by the way [member="Ice"] was speaking to him. Was he trying to make it seem as if he had the authority in the this situation? Lifting a single arm, the young Knight would sheathe his blade with the other, while pointing a finger at the gunslinger. Looking the man up and down, the Sith would begin to reach out with the force, sensing the man's feelings and emotions. Along with this, he would begin to exercise his telepathic abilities, forcing his way into and viewing the thoughts of Ice. It took a moment or two, seeing as the man's sensitivity was considerable. Even so, it was weak and untrained compared to his own. Either way, the only reason he did so was to discover the individual's race.

"Listen here, Shi'do," he began, sounding rather annoyed. He would turn to look at [member="Eliza Downheart"] briefly two, hoping that she would get the message as well. "You will do what I say, if I even require your services afterwards. I intend to kill the Hutt I alone. Under regular circumstances, I would be in the process of killing the both of you as we speak." He would explain, still gripping the hilt of his lightning long sword. With his free arm, he would sweep across the air, motioning away from the warehouse before giving Ice a glance. "Lead the way." The Sith figured he would have to buy their silence, though for now he would use them as he pleased.

Ice gave the man a cold scowl. He was obviously powerful. But that didn't mean he was invincible. And Ice always had a few tricks up his sleave. Still, although he wanted to point out that without Ice, his mission would probably fail. He didn't. For the moment, their goals were aligned. Honestly, what disturbed him more, was that this man somehow knew he was a Shi'ido. Ice had apparently let his guard down. It would not happen again. Ice began throwing up mental barriers to block his thoughts from being invaded again.

His gaze shifted from Eliza as she spoke, to the assassin who finally gestured for him to lead the way. Suddenly, he was feeling glad this woman decided to stay. He didn't fancy being alone with this....Sith? Especially one as pompous as he was.

Turning back to Eliza, he replied simply, "Well that's at least twelve men we don't have to deal with now. Come. This way." As he walked off toward where the hangar would be, he pulled up his comm and sent a message to [member="Saki lin"] . "Saki. Get the ship in orbit. Things have gone to hell in hand bag down here. And I refuse to give up the cargo for this double crossing snake. Hurry! Zorlog has probably sent men your way already. I'll join you soon."

His mind was racing. Ice had to think of a way to keep the status quo in his favor. A grin soon appeared on his face as he led the unlikely trio through the warehouse toward the small dock in the back. When it finally came in view, Ice ducked down behind some storage crates and whispered. "Ok look. Here's what we do. We don't know where Zorlog is or how many men he has. So we get him to come to us. Let's sneak on that ship. I'll then send a message to Zorlogs men telling them we escaped into the vents or something. They will evac Zorlog to the transport ship while the rest stay behind and try to find us."

At this point he turned specifically toward the assassin. "Once we have taken off, we'll help you take out what few guards there will be, and capture Zorlog. Just long enough mind you, to coerce him into handing over the Ultrachrome he has onto my ship. We'll use Zorlog as the hostage to prevent reprisal. Once the goods are transferred. And Eliza and myself get back to my ship. Zorlog is yours, and you'll even have him on a transport ready to make your own escape. You even have the bonus of being able to take him back to your masters...employers...whatever alive if that suits you. Or just kill him and escape. Personally I hope you do the latter." An evil grin began to spread on his face as he reflected on the plan.

He then turned to Eliza as well. "What do you think?"

Saki was setting on the ship in the bridge as all the events went down soon she received a message on the comm "aye aye captain " she said and started her path to be in orbit, soon a man yelled to her"
-hey we got so fighters incoming
Saki cursed and got onto the comm"[member="Ice"] we got starfighters coming at us want me to tell the men to go to battle stations"she said her voice shaky as this was her first time in space combat let alone fighting using a cruiser, this would be a test for her to defeat , taking a deep breath AMD letting it out she nodded to herself getting ready for the battle to come"OK prepare battle stations but don't fire yet we'll wait for the captain to give the order"she said putting her arms behind her back and looking at as they came into orbit "OK ice we're in orbit

Eliza stood, and tried to listen and catch what they were saying as they got into what sounded like an argument over who was doing what. Mean while she tossed her red hair over her should and looked at the first man when he began to speak, what she caught out of what they were saying was that she would go with them, distract some guards with the man while the hidden one would take this Hutt guy and kill him. She was glad that she didn't wasn't being thrown into a huge role here, though it did upset her that she wasn't going to be successful with the mission she came on in the first place. Damn.

"Well that sounds alright to me, again though I don't have weapons, the person who told me about this guy told me to be carrying anything."

She looked at them wide eyed when she began to hear a voice, what the heck was that she thought.

Ballen-Ist would roll his eyes, slowly looking over to [member="Eliza Downheart"]. How could she not have a weapon? Everyone carried weapons. Sighing in annoyance, the concealed youth would reach down to his waist, gripping the single dark metal hilt of his lightsaber. Pulling it from his belt's restraints, the Sith would toss the cylindrical object through the air, hoping the vampire would catch it. Turning completely from the group, the Knight would begin to walk towards the hangar, where a large collection of life signatures had gathered. "Let us be off, then," he spoke quietly, striding down the corridors with his black cloak flowing in his wake. The Knight's hand would remain on his sword's hilt as he utilized his sensing abilities, making sure to have his guard up. These two could decide to betray him at any moment, and if so he would deal with them accordingly.

Though, first things first. Zorlog was the primary target, and as long as things went well he did not see himself killing any others. At least, any others that weren't affiliated with the disgusting Hutt. "Get on that message, Shi'ido, it seems your abilities will prove useful after all." He commented to [member="Ice"], making a mental note of learning illusion powers in the near future.

He rolled his eyes after the assassin had turned away. At least the man was cooperating. Hell he even gave Eliza a weapon. That was quite unexpected. Now to just finish this mission and not piss him off. He really meant what he said for the plan. He had absolutely no interest in the assassin whatsoever. And in fact, Ice really wanted the same thing he did. Zorlog's death. Still no reason to not take precautions. First he answered Saki. "Copy that. Take those bastards out. They're not getting you, my crew, my ship, or the spice! Ice out."

He then turned his comm back over to Zorlog's men. After he had hidden his face and changed back to the dead guard of course. "This is Baker 1! We searched the rubble and couldn't find them. We think they went into the ventilation. I suggest getting Zorlog out of here, before they have a chance to get any farther than they already have."

And angry growl could be heard on the other side. "You fools! How could you let them escape!? They were practically gift wrapped for you! Find them now! Or it's your skin on the line! We'll be moving Zorlog now."

"Yes sir." I said in his still raspy, coughing voice.

Turning his face back, he looked to Eliza and nodded for her to follow. "Come on, don't want to let him out of our site." He said with a small smile. Sneaking back up to behind the assassin, Ice slowly and carefully made his way on board. It looked like he may have done this before. "Hurry. Zorlog is on his way." Ice whispered to [member="Ballen-Ist"] and [member="Eliza Downheart"].

Saki nodded AMD turned to the men looking at them she could see them looking at her for orders on the situation "OK...I want six fighters scrambled and ready for action asap, get those rotary turrents points at the incoming fighters" soon the ship was alive with activity as men ran to their stations in the hangar bay pilots prepped and started taking off she watched as eight dots approached the cruiser by then all guns were aimed"OK then patch me to the pilots"the comms officer nodded and went to work soon there was a burst if static then a voice came on the comm"
-this is squadron leader what are the orders
*saki smiled"do your best and lure them into gun range so the guns can tear em apart
-copy that
"Saki sighed and again looked at the crew, even if she'd just joined she could tell these men placed their trust in her to lead them correctly
[member="Ice"] [member="Eliza Downheart"] [member="Ballen-Ist"]

Eliza was caught off guard but managed to catch the lightsaber, she was never trained to use one but she thought it wouldn't be to difficult when the time came.
"Thank you." She replied to the hooded one.
She then heard the name Ice when the guy hung up, that must be his name. Okay, she thought, good. When the two started to walk she followed briskly, keeping quiet and listening carefully. She was glad she chose to wear flat shoes today because heels would have been loud, and annoying.

"Okay," she replied to Ice about watching this guy. That couldn't be that hard could it?

The trio would stalk their way down the warehouse's corridors, before coming upon the hangar in which they sought. To the pureblood's surprise, there was only one ship present, obviously being the one they needed to sneak onto. After a few moments, [member="Eliza Downheart"], [member="Ice"] and Ballen-Ist had apparently made their way into the transport as stowaways. Looking around the space craft's interior, the Sith would search for an ideal hiding spot, before deciding that the cargo bay was the best. Problem was, he didn't know where the cargo bay way. Craning his neck slowly to the side, the young Knight would look at this two companions, as if expecting some sort of answer to his problem.

He let the assassin and Eliza head on in first. While they moved on ahead, he placed his only remote grenade in a hidden portion of the engine. The explosion would cause the reactor to overload and vaporize the whole ship. "There. Now if that kriffen assassin tries to double cross us. I can take him down with me. Hopefully, he'll just stick to the plan and we can all leave this mess happy." Ice mumbled to himself and then quietly caught up with the others.

When he did, the assassin turned back and gave him a look like, where too now? Letting out a small sigh, he asked. "Oh c'mmon, I thought you were supposed to be an assassin. You can't find a place to hide?" He didn't really wait for an answer, just started looking around. "Wait! Your a Sith...or some type of force user right? Can't you use your hocus pocus to sense for a hidden compartment we can hide in? It's a hutt ship. I'm sure there is a smugglers hold around here somewhere." He whispered.

There was the sound of approaching people coming from outside the ship. If they were going to find a spot, they needed to do it now.

(Sorry for the late and short reply. Rough couple of days.)

Eliza like usual tried to keep quiet and follow the others, when she had ended up between the two of them she became extra stealth. She kept her steps quiet and her body light on her feet, it didn't sound like anyone else was around.

"Okay, so where are we supposed to go now? You need to tell me what the plan is." She kept her words brief but to the point. She couldn't get distracted. Her plan was not to die tonight. She slipped herself behind a wall and stood completely still, she thought she had heard someone talk, but she didn't know who.

Sorry my mention was screwing up)

Saki watched as the fighters she ordered out flew towards the incoming enemy fighters, they knew the plan draw them in close to the ship then blast them right of the air, she grinned at this idea a little"deception is sometimes useful"she said to herself as the fighters met and traded fire the 6 ally fighters turned fired and started slowly drawing them close

Ballen-Ist would continue to the survey the room with lazy eyes, getting rather annoyed by the constant bickering of his new acquaintances. They really did annoy him. The youth's booted feet would lift briefly, before tapping down on the very floorboard he stood on. A hollow ring would sound out, for it seemed there was open space beneath. With the aid of his sensing abilities, the Knight had successfully discovered the obvious smuggling compartment. With a flick of his wrist, several panels in the floor would begin to float into the air, revealing spots for the trio to hide in.

The opposing forces who had approached the transport from the outside were getting closer, walking up the boarding ramp. They had nearly zeroed in on the group's position, their only choice was to hide now. Ballen-Ist would either way begin to think about ways to kill everyone on the ship, very aware of the deceptive actions of @Ice. He was unsure of what would exactly happen, but was still confident in his skill set.

Ice dove into the hole that had been found by the assassin. Everyone had just barely managed to conceal themselves in time. The group they had heard outside was entering the ship. A few people could be heard quickly running through it on their way to the cockpit. They seemed to be in quite the hurry to get out of here. Not more than a few seconds behind them, the groaning floor plates, were evidence enough that Zorlog the Hutt had come on board. He angrily yelled something to one of his henchmen in Huttese which sent the man running back out of the ship.

A couple seconds later, the rumbling of the small transport they were on told of their departure. The best they could make out is there was at about 5 people with the Hutt. Not counting the two pilots that ran to the cockpit.

Ice looked at the assassin and Eliza. "On three, we come out shooting?" He gave a questioning look at them to make sure they were good and ready. The Hutt was just over there hidden door. "3..." Moving across toward another portion deeper into the ship, his men followed. "2..." The ship was now leaving the dock and making for open space. Ice, pulled out his pistol and made ready to attack. "1..."

*****************************************

Meanwhile, in orbit, a couple of the fighters broke off from the main dogfight and headed straight for the ship. They knew full well what Saki was trying to do. And they were now about to make a strafing run to knock out the ships defensive weapons....

[member="Ballen-Ist"] | [member="Saki lin"] | [member="Eliza Downheart"]

Eliza was quiet but did as she was instructed, she followed the others into the small space and tried to make herself comfortable. When the time was right and [member="Ice"] started to count down she focused her mind and got ready to throw herself into the ship once again. She wasn't going to hold back this time. She was going to let herself do what she had to do. When Ice hit once Eliza tensed up and a shard of ice formed of the ceiling above them as they jumped out of the hole.
Shoot she thought! Hands at the ready she grabbed a young man's neck and cracked it with ease. She was ready for a fight.

Saki watched with a smile as they kept coming closer, soon she watched two break off and head for the ship "odd what are they doing" she thought then looked up"fighters I need you to send two immediately after those coming towards the ship now!"she said as two of the ally fighters broke up off and headed for the enemy fighters "all guns incoming craft I want them targeted and as soon as they are in range fire, fighters distract them as long as possible" sge said over the comm hoping this all worked

From beneath the flooring, Ballen-Ist would begin to concentrate, allowing his dark presence in the force to spread and flood into the hallways of the ship they currently hid in. That very dark power would begin to manifest into telekinetic energy, surging forward like a powerful stream of water through the air. The guards that stood became very nervous as they felt the strange pressure of the pureblood's presence weighing down on them. Fear would begin to drill it's way into their mind, before three of the individual's necks snapped instantly. The telekinetic power that the Knight had exerted wrapped around the necks of the thugs, breaking them with a twitch of his wrist.

Using the same energy he had gathered, the filled hidden compartment would become apparent as the lids went flying, smashing into the side of the corridors. [member="Eliza Downheart"] and [member="Ice"] would be free to attack and kill the others, for Ballen-Ist simply stood up and remained calm.

(OOC: Considering everyone has gotten busy. I'm going to hurry this along so we can finally close this thread out.)

Ice sprang from his position when the lid came flying off. Three men were already crumpling to the floor, and Eliza was taking out a fourth. He quickly took aim at the last guard who was trying to figure out what was even going on. BAM! And a fifth guard dropped to floor. A smoking hole running through his head. "Good god." Ice said looking over the dead bodies and back to the assassin and Eliza with a slight smirk. "Nice."

A horrified Zorlog had raised his hands in a feeble attempt to protect himself as he backed up to the wall. An almost feral grin began to work its way onto Ice's face. "Zorlog. A pleasure to meet you in person. Tis a shame our business dealings had to end this way."

Zorlog's eyes began to move back and forth between the three people. "Please! Don't kill me! I can double whatever you were offered!"

Ice chuckled lightly. "Mmm, unfortunately. I'm not the one that was sent to kill you. I'm just the one helping that person after you tried to have me killed for no reason. Nor is Eliza here. She was just coming to you for help when you tried to have her killed too. No, the person you are referring to, is this wonderful gentleman there." He said with a nod of his head toward the Sith's direction. "And after talking to him, I think I can safely say he is not the double dealing type."

Zorlog turned to face [member="Ballen-Ist"] now. "Who are you working for? I'm sure I can work something out with them! Please, just give me a chance to make recompense! I--"

Ice who had begun to walk closer to the slug now smacked him across the face with his pistol. "Zorlog. I'm afraid you have only one ace left to you. You see after you dealt us such a crappy hand, I went ahead and made other deals as well."

At this point Zorlog, so unaccustomed to being treated and spoken to this way simply listened, stunned into silence.

"I hear you have a rather large shipment of ultrachrome. I've made a deal with the assassin here that if you play nice, and hand over the ultrachrome, he won't kill you right here and now like he originally meant to. You see the reason he is willing to do this is because he needed me to find you. So..." Ice pressed a button, and the sound of his pistol powering up a charge could be heard. "You going to call off your fighters and transfer over that ultrachrome? Or should we splatter your brains all over the bulkhead right now?"

It was at this point that one of the pilots had come back to see what the commotion was about , stopping dead in his tracks as he realized what was going on. His eye quickly turned to Zorlog, who in his great wisdom, saw this as the time to speak up. "Call off the fighters. And...tell the ship to be ready to transfer the ultrachrome to Ice's ship." The pilot nodded, and after giving the two other people a concerned look, headed back up to the cockpit to carry out his orders.

A few seconds later, the fighters that [member="Saki lin"] had been dealing with...what was left of them, broke off and retreated. She soon got a message from Ice to dock with the ship, whose identity was provided by Zorlog. It took some time to transfer the 1500 tons of ultrachrome, but eventually it was done. With the bigger ship moving off, The small transport which held the whole group docked with Ice's ship.

"Well Eliza." Ice said happily. "Shall we be off and leave the assassin here with his prize?" He turned to the assassin. "Well buddy. A deal is a deal." He lowered his pistol from the hutt and gave him a small but respectful bow. "The hutt is all yours! Been a pleasure doing business with you." With that, Ice moved off and into his ship. Only waiting long enough for Eliza to get on board as well. When she was, he'd send a message to Saki. "Saki. We're back. Get us the hell out of here before something else goes wrong."

[member="Eliza Downheart"]

Eliza went through the craziness on the ship with calmness, she was happy to finally feel that she wasn't in danger.
"Have fun with you new friend." She spoke to the hooded one, "Don't be to nice to him."

She looked back at [member="Ice"] and nodded, following him out of the ship. Once they were out she wondered what was going to happen next. "So, uh, that was interesting. I guess I might see you around, right?"

She wasn't sure what else to say, she kept up with Ice's walking speed though.
