Turning to her, Fixx shook his head.
”You’re sounding far more respectable than I ever thought. Sounds like the appeal of living off the grid is something you’ve considered greatly?”
He pursed his lips and followed her arms down to her hands, fingers and then the short grass as he lost himself momentarily.
”I know what you mean however. The number of times I’ve returned from a world and looked in the mirror, the blood of another on my face or hands, and you think is THIS what your life boils down to? Fighting or piloting; sacrificing?”
With a small sigh he looked back down the bubbling water before them.
”It’s a life we only know how to live though. That’s what I tell myself – if no one else can get their hands dirty to fight for the Republic, then I’ll have to do it.”
Fixx rubbed his jaw and turned back to Kayleigh, evidently enjoying the nature of Tython.
”Sorry, I’m never normally so upbeat and happy to be around.”
