Winter Is Coming [SSC Dominion of Midvinter]

As George went to stand up and move away Master [member="Connor Harrison"] hand quickly moved up gently guiding him back down against the wall. George understood that Connor had his best interest at heard. After all, he did care about George after all. He wanted to make sure that George wasn't getting to ahead of himself. "Alright Master, I'll do what I can." As Master Connors words helped ease the pain. Following his guidance George managed to control the pain within his head using it rather than fighting it, just as Connor had said.

As the Master turned to look at the situation George could see the reflection of the fire burning behind him within the forest. The day was already full of bloodshed, but it wasn't going to end soon. Much was still to do. As Connor spoke again George listened. "Thank you Master, I think I'll be alright now. Thank you for the guidance." He replied standing up as Connor patted his shoulder before turning to face the Grandmaster and his wife, also the Master of the Order. Returning to look at George Connor spoke again, giving George some more wise words. George was beginning to think he was full of wiseness... But that was for another day.

As George looked at Connor nodding he began to speak. "I think I'll be fine now. But lets get out there and defend this village. There is still a lot of work to be done." As George began to head back to the bridge where the Valkyri warriors had set up a line of defence to keep the incoming Vinterbound out. It didn't seem like it would hold for much longer; the Vinterbound outnumbered the Valkyri 10:1 the odds were not in their favour. But it was time to even them up. Two Jedi plus the combined strength of the Valkyri. No Vinterbound could stand up to that.

Objective: End This!

There were too many of them. Even with them turning on one another they still outnumbered the defenders. Something had to be done, something drastic. Coci had the right idea, using Force Light to blind and make nearby enemies easy pickings, but it wasn't enough. Too many had fallen, and soon they risked getting overrun completely. With the cavalry charging the flanks they managed to contain them somewhat, which was just what the Grandmaster needed for the risky maneuver he was about to pull. Finding a moment to focus, he summoned all of his remaining energy - physically as well as mentally - for one final attempt to stem the tide.

Time stood still as he drew power from the light side of the Force, and as he opened his eyes they glowed bright blue with lightside energy. He turned his head to look upon his wife battling the undead to her last breath. While the world stood still around him he gazed upon the others who were giving it their all to protect the living from death. As time started to catch up to him, he reached for Coci's hand and held it firmly. "Now and beyond this life," he spoke in serene tone before turning his attention to the undead. He raised his free hand and unleashed the full power of light on the Vinterbound.

Summoning a mighty wall of blue energy wide enough to cover the entirety of the battlefield, trapping the undead on the other side. Additional walls were erected on either sides, creating a prison of lightside energy the Vinterbound could not break free from. After trapping the lot of them inside, Thurion turned his hand so that his palm faced upwards before clenching it into a fist. Within the confines of the light side the undead shrieked with what could only be interpreted as either pain or panic, moments before the light in their eyes were snuffed out and their lifeless corpses were returned to their intended final rest. Their connection to the dark side had been severed, thus rendering whatever entity animating them powerless to intervene.

The ordeal was too much to bear, and once assured all of the undead had been dealt with the walls dissipated and Thurion collapsed on the blood-sprinkled snow, nigh-unconscious. Unable to keep his eyes open, he managed the slightest of smiles at the sound of the Valkyri cheering at the defeat of the Vinterbound assault. He could feel the presence of his beloved and squeezed her hand ever so softly before succumbing to fatigue. The battle for Fafnersvik was over.

Connor turned his body slightly, gripping the hilt on both hands like a bat beside [member="George O Rourke"] ready to make a run over into the horde for a powerful defence from two unified blades acting as one. But they never had chance, when the Force Light swept over.

Wincing against the strength of such a blast, Connor turned his head and closed his eyes from the brightness of the energy that was emitted behind them. It was over almost as quickly as it had begun, and the swelling of the Force inside him seemed to join with those he was fighting beside where it felt likea surge of pressure leaving his body.

Then nothing, except the crackle of flames in the distance and cheers and banging of armour from those around the village. He opened his eyes, taken aback by a power he hadn’t come across much before, and turned to see [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] succumb to fatigue from the blast.

”I’ve got to learn how to do that,” he said to himself.

Killing his blade and spinning it back onto his belt, Connor jogged over to where Thurion had gone down in the bloody snow, standing back enough to allow [member="Coci Heavenshield"] to be where she needed to be. Thankfully, this wasn’t death creeping up, but the effect of summoning so much strength and energy into one powerful emission that the body simply gave up to recover.

He caught his breath and looked on, turning to give subtle privacy as he wiped his brown with a gloved hand, noting crusted blood over his right gauntlet. There was a lot of recovery to be done; repairs, extinguishing of flame and the rebuilding of broken men, women and children swept up in the horror of war. The Vinterbound had succumbed to the power of the Light.

Done.

”That seems to be it then,” he turned again to Thurion, and smiled. ”Nice move, Beardy.”

And so the battle was over. The seemingly endless hordes of the Vinterbound had succumbed to fire, shell, mind frakking and finally the power of the Light. The still raging fires had burnt the forest down to a crisp, the snowlands had been drenched in blood and innumberable corpses of Vinterbound and Valkyri lay strewn across the ground. The air was rank with the smell of death.

"Nothing except a battle lost can be half as melancholy as a battle won." Kaida believed she heard twitching from beneath a couple bodies, then a gurgle. A zombie, maimed and horrifically burnt from the blast of Force Light, lay there on the ground, unable to move. Its features were contorted into an expression of pain. Kaida put it out of its misery by slicing its head off, then walked away, feeling tired.

The sound of the Valkyri cheering was so loud it seemed to rise to the heavens. Doubtless they would celebrate - and mourn their dead. Equally doubtless that plenty of recovery lay ahead of them. The Seraph did not feel exultant, but then she felt so preciously little these days. Valkyri warriors were helping their wounded comrades and she joined them.

As George and [member="Connor Harrison"] stood ready to face the horde in front of them. George gripped both hilts igniting the blue and green blades ready to strike the many undead that stood ahead. But in a blink of an eye the battle changed. A blue field of light came across the battlefield. George could feel the strength of the force within, it was immense the amount of strength that had come from the man. But as soon as the field came over them it vanished, toppling the Vinterbound where they stood.

The battle was over, they had won. But not without huge casualties. George extinguished his blades returning them to his hip and looked over at Connor before hearing the raging Valkyri applauding their hero. Banging their shields and whatever else they could find to show their appreciation. But it wasn't for much. The Grandmaster [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] laid in the snow, movement was almost gone, but death was not near. He could feel it. The huge amount of physical and mental energy required to conjure up such a strong attack took its toll leaving him almost unconscious. As both Connor and himself made their way over to the fallen Grandmaster his wife and partner in battle [member="Coci Heavenshield"] knelt over him. It was true lover at its finest. "Well done Grandmaster, you sure have shown your strength today. You are a true hero." He said aloud at the Grandmaster, not expecting any sort of reply he just wanted to say something, the truth. George started a small clap for the Grandmaster as they waited for Master Coci to see if any help was required to get the Grandmaster back to the village.

The atmosphere around the battlefield was lightened by the end of the fighting, laughter and cheering could be heard all around. A smile grew on George's face, it was a true victory today. But it meant so much more than any other victory so far. It was a victory for the Coalition, but more so for the Valkyri people and the Grandmaster, being able to save his people from the Vinterbound, nothing could equate to that.

The summon of blinding light does not take much energy to manifest, but Coci was near the end, almost spent. The illusion had taken from her more than she realised and partly she pushed on with adrenaline alone. Many souls around her had left their physical bodies, Jedi and Valkyri and even the Vinterbound who finally found peace in death. This alone is enough to drain someone of energy, the gulf in the force opening up around them as lives vanished.

She stood at near collapse, her breathing very laboured as she looked around at the untold dead and even the unrelenting undead. But, a pull on the force rippled around her, and through the force bond she holds with Thurion, told her of his intentions. Coci had not the strength in the force left to help him with the Wall of Light, but with every ounce of her remaining energy, she pushed into him, fueling him further to complete the Wall. She stood still, eyes open and fixed, the pupils of her black eyes narrowing to almost invisible. Her body trembled, a the bond became swollen with the force, power of the light side filling Thurion in it's purity from her.

When he stopped, she broke the connection of the energy and slumped down on her knees beside him, for a moment she could do nothing, hear nothing save to breath. Then her gaze looked upon him laying on the ground, he is spent and she had nothing left to give him. Her hand reached out and touched his cheek before she leaned down and placed her forehead to his. "Now and beyond this life".

Her head turned upward as she heard a familiar voice, Connor had come to them. "Help me get him to the village", she could barely speak, Coci would need assistance as well, she doubted she would be able to find her feet let along stand on them.

Connor looked over to the bridge and whistled a piercing note, getting a few faces to look. He beckoned them over with swift wave of the hand. He turned and looked to [member="George O Rourke"].

”George, take command with the Valkyri and help Thurion into the hall,” Connor ordered, auto-pilot kicking in.

He knelt on one knee and looked over [member="Coci Heavenshield"] – while they had fallen far from the love and respect they once had for each other, she was the one who meant more than anyone to him. He looked up and put an arm around her shoulder and then scooped his other under her legs, her weakness evident as her body was heavy.

Taking a breath, he stood up, shaking a little to get the balance, and then held her over his arms.

”It’s alright now, I got you. We’ll get you sorted sis,”

Connor began to walk with Valkyri beside him, and turned gently to see the others with [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] to make sure they were ok and could get them inside away from the cold weather and the fires of war.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
As the thousand voices finally stopped trying to invade her head, she opened her eyes to the reality. The mission was a success, the dark aura was nowhere to be seen and there was a big presence of the Light coming around the village. "We did it... Sumiko." She could say weakly. Yet, she heard no response coming from her. Why? Getting herself in a comfortable position she examined her surroundings. The cold was still a big thing, yet she didn't feel it as much as before, it was either her body was becoming immune to the cold or she was freezing to death slowly. That's why she was feeling sleepy, right? There was a saying that, you should never sleep if you are in a cold climate. That was bad news. And Sumiko... Oh Force... was that blood? She felt her spirit slowly fading away from exhaustion, and she had all the rights to relax a bit after mind-raping the entire horde, yet not here, not now. She enhanced herself with the remaining Force, if they didn't want to die here they needed help. Yet, she didn't feel any presence near to them. So... she had to be the saviour. "Sumiko?"

"Sumiko. Can you hear me?" She said as she crawled towards her. The situation looked very bad, there was blood coming from her eyes. She looked out of it, yet she was still breathing. That was a good sign, to say the least. "Stay with me." Then continued as she slowly wrapped Sumiko's arms around her shoulder and with the Force, she made the woman stand up as she started to help her stay awake. "I am going to... get us out of here..." She didn't even believe to her words herself, yet she was going to try. The Force wasn't helping that much, as she was like a newborn child who was trying to learn walking as she slowly started to walk towards the stairs of tower. Not only she had balance issues, yet now she had to be extra careful for icy ground as well. "Can you hear me? Talk to me via telepathy. I know you are around." Keep the woman's head occupied enough not to let her sleep, that's the plan. She started to move down as the stairs seemed like they never ended, her head started to get blurry, yet she kept going. "We need to... just... get to the village."

At last, the stairs ended as they were on the ground level, and the escape was just meters away. Yet, Nima was... not there anymore. Her body continued to go, yet her mind was just closed from exhaustion. She couldn't even understand how she continued going, as it seemed like even the Force has left her side. She was freezing, she was tired and she was carrying extra weight with her. Three strikes, and she was about to be out. "Sumiko... Do you hear me... Talk... to me..." If the silence continued, she didn't know if she could keep going, sleep was slowly taking her control, her muscles started to ache like hell, and she started to shake from the cold. Like... she was about to go, almost.

And so it was over. Alas Sumiko was sort of in the middle of passing out and drifting into unconsciousness. In between shaking from the dreadful cold. She was very dimly aware that they were moving down the stairs of the tower. Or rather that Nima was dragging her down since her body was very limp and her mind had pretty much closed from sheer exhaustion.

Everything in this world had its price, especially anything involving the Dark Side. Blood magic and dark sorcery came with just as many risks as rewards, if not more so. She was freezing, she was very tired and it was probably a miracle that her legs did not simply give way and make her tumble down the stairs. The cold breeze of the wind hit her when they finally stepped outside of the tower. Sleep was threatening to claim her and her muscles were arching.

Someone was talking to her. She could hear a voice inside her mind. After a moment or two she realised it was the Twi'lek. "Yes...here...sort of. It's over?" Simple telepathic communication seemed to cost her more energy than it should. Oh, and she was obviously still bleeding from her self-inflicted wounds, while her eyes were bloodshot.

It was...over.

Everything.

It was as if a sea of light washed over the land, cleansing it of the dark energy that had been building up inside of it. Ren turned off his Lightsaber and then collapsed to his knees. A sharp sing arose as he fell, but he didn't care. He didn't care about anything. He could only looked blankly at the field of devastation. It was disgusting, blood and bruises were on almost every single corpse. More stings arose from within him, he looked down to see the source of the problem.

It was bad.

There were cuts everywhere across his body, deep ones at that. He chuckled and whispered to himself, "You said you weren't going to die, what happened to that Ren?"

He wasn't dead yet. Well, unless someone found him he would be. He turned his head slowly to the direction of Fafnersvik. All those people, they seemed so close. But...so far away.

Ren needed to get to them.

Slowly, he gathered all the energy inside him and started trudging towards the village. He slowly pushed his way through the mass.

One step, two steps, three ste-

Ren crashed into the snowy surface. Sheer exhaustion had taken him over and he soon realized that he would not be able to make it on foot.

Was this it? He curled up into a ball. Would he really die here?

Tears formed in the corners of his eyes. He whispered to the Force, "Syala, Connor, anybody, please, save me..."

He hadn't been inside the main hall for long with the others before [member="Coci Heavenshield"] stirred, and he discussed the best course of action now, before he suddenly remembered - Syala and Ren. It was either coincidence in remembering the two he left behind, or it was hearing that voice over everything else. He slowly turned to the door, looking out towards the fiery forest.

”I'll be back,” he muttered, before swiftly moving out.

Connor picked up the pace into a run; past [member="George O Rourke"] who had a study command of the others with [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]. He ran past the Valkri, over the bridge, slipping a little on the bloodied and icy floor and down the incline leading to the forest. It was still on fire, albeit dying down now. Smoke was curling up and making it hard to see.

Stopping for a second, Connor reached down to his cowl around his neck and pulled up his breathing mask; a fiersome looking mask covering his mouth and nose. He looped the straps around his head, and moved forward through the smoke with his breathing more synthetic. Squinting, he followed the signature of [member="Ren Colvet"] from his time training, and soon enough came up on the shivering body of the Padawan.

”No no no, not another one - no way...” he spoke, his voice slightly distorted.

He crouched and lifted the drowsy youth onto his lap and placed a firm hand on his chest and summoned the living Force from around them and commanded it into Ren's body. It would do what was possible to speed up the healing on any broken skin, muscle and bruising on the ribs. It would suffice until he could get him away. Then he mimicked the move on Coci, one arm around the shoulders and one under the legs, up onto his feet, and away back to the village quickly, eyes burning through the smoke over the mask.

”[member="Syala Daivik"] you better be out of here - where are you!”

As soon as he verified the kids were inside, Audren headed back to the main fight at a sprint. He left the empty blaster where it was; if he lived he could return to get it, if he died then what was the point? There was still fighting going on, and he wouldn't leave the others fighting on the front lines to patrol the rear.

The gates hadn't been opened or forced, a good sign. However, that meant he had to go over the wall, and even with help from the Force he couldn't jump that high yet. Pulling on the Force within, he leaped as he closed on a watchtower, grabbing the ladder at the apex of his jump. Up the last few rungs, then another leap over the side of the wall. One of the benefits of doing it this way, he could aim where he would land instead of leaving it to chance. The spot he chose to fall was one of the relatively clear ones, and he took it with another roll to avoid injury. As he stood, both blades blurred to life. As he did, walls of blue energy began to shine from every side of the battlefield, then abruptly collapsed in, washing over all present.

With a single coruscating shriek from hundreds of throats, the undead collapsed as the walls fell over them. As they crossed Audren, he felt revitalized by the light-side energy and he knew without having to reach for it that his own store of Force energy had been replenished. Others were not so lucky, however. Further into the battlefield, both Thurion and Coci Heavenshield collapsed, so he assumed it was they that called upon the Force. They were tended to by George and Connor. Elsewhere, Jedi and Valkyri alike were wearily helping fellow survivors to their feet and to the walls, the steadfast safety far more inviting than the the chaos of a battlefield. Audren had fought a battle same as them, had run across the village at full sprint in armor, but he hadn't been fighting with blades on the battlefield. He was well aware that drew more energy than what he'd done and that the surviving combatants were far more tired than he.

Being around his parents had caused the Sephi to learn a lot about medicine, even if he didn't want to be a doctor like they wanted. That, and his chosen profession on Cholganna, had given him enough basic medical skill to help. The tiny medkit the armor contained was swiftly depleted of bandages, so he moved to using whatever clean cloth the person had available. The dead he left behind, Valkyri and Vinterbound alike, though at times it was difficult to distinguish the two. It was a bit of a surprise to see Connor Harrison running back onto the field. The body he lifted was small, and the clothes could have been gore-covered versions of what the youngling who'd leaped the wall had worn. Depending on who'd been injured between Audren's current location and the boy's it could have taken a half hour to get there. A battlefield was no place for younglings. Now, had the Padawan been able to sense things through the Force, he might have gone quicker. Yet another reason he needed to figure out how to connect to the Force.

Some time later, everything he could do done, Audren headed in towards the settlement walls.

As George made his way over to the lovely couple the fatigue had hit them both like a freight train. Both laid against each other with barely enough energy to move. Coci managed to speak asking to help her husband inside. With [member="Connor Harrison"] beside him it was common sense to help one each. And Connor had the same though. Motioning to George to help the Grandmaster he moved over to Coci picking her up and taking her back to the safety of the village. "Alright Valkyri warriors, lets get [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] back into the village." George said, motioning for nearby Valkyri soldiers to come over and help. The Grandmaster was no small fella. He was a Valkyri after all. With the help of two more Valkyri they managed to life the man to his feet. Not that he could use them. He was exhausted to the point where staying conscious was difficult.

Wrapping the Grandmasters arm around his shoulders George wrapped his arm around his waist, holding him up. Nautolans luckily had quite a broad and well built physique meaning this carrying of the Grandmaster wasn't too difficult for the two of them. Carrying the Grandmaster towards the village Connor came bustling out again running into the burning woods. Where could he be going? George thought to himself. He hadn't seen anyone in there why would he go back. But George was sure he had a perfectly good reason for it. Anyhow, George the Valkyri took the Grandmaster into the main hall where his wife had resided after the battle. Bringing the Grandmaster over towards his wife they placed him up against the wall near Master [member="Coci Heavenshield"]. "The hero of the day. It takes its toll." He spoke to anyone who was listening as he looked at the Grandmaster sitting exhausted up against the wall. Turning to Master Coci he spoke. "Is there anything you need Master?" He asked as she too was quite exhausted from the whole ordeal. Waiting to see what else he could do for the Masters of the Coalition.

Objective: Rest and Recuperate
Location: Fafnersvik
Allies: Silver Sanctum Coalition
Enemies: N/A
Post: 6/20
The battle was over, in a flash of light that briefly blinded him, the undead were purified and burned away by the potent purity of the Light of Ashla.

The others were already retreating within the walls of Fafnersvik to rest and recuperate after the battle that they had endured, and for many of them it was a rest that was much needed. Coryn would not rest, he couldn't until he knew that he had helped as many as he could, so as he passed through the gates of the town he knelt next to an injured Valkyri, the woman's eyes wild with pain and anguish. He drew on the Force, wading deep into its currents until he could feel the woman through it, and he connected his energy with hers, letting his flow into her and allowing the restorative properties of the light side to weave the wounds of flesh and bone within the woman.

After several more moments, satisfied with the results of his work, he stepped away from her. He did not heal the woman entirely, he didn't have the capability to do so, but it would keep the cold grip of death away from her; he could live with that. So, he stood and stepped away from the woman, rather shakily, his energy nearing completely drained. But, his task was not finished so over the next few minutes he would heal as many of the injured as he could. With his energy completely gone from the excessive use of the Force throughout his time on Midvinter, he settled against the wall of the nearest home, his vision fading in and out.

He placed his head in between his knees and took several deep breaths, attempting to settle the dizziness that permeated every facet of his stretched mind. He felt as though his mind could snap at the sheer magnitude of weakness that he felt at the moment. But, he had done his part in service of the Silver Sanctum Coalition, so he was satisfied.

"You would not have been as you are now, had you let the Dark Side help you." the sinister dark whispers returned to his mind. He groaned audibly, he didn't have the mental fortitude left to battle back their manipulations. So, he settled for the next best thing, his own will power.

"You are right. I would be far worse than I am now. I have never been as certain of my path as I am now, and I have you to thank for that." he spoke aloud, any that may have heard him would likely think he was crazy, but he didn't care; he had grown tired of the voices always trying to tempt him to the dark side.

"Perhaps, but we are not yet done. We know your innermost thoughts, even if you do not now them yourself. You will fall to the Dark Side.. Sooner than you think." the malevolent presence faded from his mind as they left their last statement, a statement that lingered heavily on the edges of his mind - a dark promise, as if they knew his future.

But, that was ridiculous of course. The future was fluid and never set in stone; every choice made, and action taken, could potentially alter ones destiny. So, he took heart in that and settled into a comfortable position as he awaited the departure of the Sanctum on Midvinter. He hadn't brought his ship, so he would need to travel back with his fellow Jedi.

While barely awake to notice, Thurion could feel his body being carried off the blood-soaked battlefield into relative warmth. When he managed to open his eyes again, he found himself indoors alongside his beloved wife. Sat resting against the wall, he reached for George's sleeve and held onto it. "Thank you," he told the Nautolan. "Do what you can for the wounded..." he added, barely able to form audible words. He was about to nod off again, but managed to resist the temptation as he laid eyes on Coci sitting next to him on the floor just as exhausted. After summoning enough strength to move his hand he removed his armoured gauntlet and caressed her cheek. He had to feel the softness of her skin against his after such devastation.

Soon the hall was filled with wounded men and women, with those skilled in healing doing what they can to help. When the healers came for him, Thurion dismissed them with a wave of his hand. He had not sustained any serious injuries during the battle, and all he would ever need in order to heal his spirit was the woman beside him.

She would be forever grateful to Connor as he did not hesitate to take control of the situation after she pleaded for his help. Within moments, Connor picked her up and carried her away from the battlefield. But did not forget to see that Thurion would be taken care of as well, although she had next to no strength left, Coci mustered enough to look behind them, over Connor's shoulder to make sure Thurion was being brought to the village. George was there in an instant and help her beloved up onto his feet and aided him to walk. She left out a sigh of relief now knowing Thurion was alright. Now she turned to Connor, and for a moment she regarded the man she had lost 'contact' with. They are friend above all else. Friends that have differing opinions on life and duty, even how they operate as Shadows but that part of them compliments each other. "Thank you", she managed to say with little breath in her body.

Finally Connor had taken her to the village and into a room, she did not care where, it was warm and safe and she waited for Thurion. George has soon followed, bringing him in and placing Thurion next to her. Her black eyes unable to be removed from his face, even when others spoke to her. "Nothing more from George, but Thurion is right ... see to the wounded, they need you now".

Thurion's warm hard reached for her cheek, the touch almost sending her to fall into a slumber with the reassurance of his love and warmth. Yet she remained with eyes fixed to his. There would be no need for words to pass between them, all that was to be said communicated through their gaze on one another, she smiled as she reached to take his hand in hers and moved to rest against his shoulder. Her fingers gently caresses his regardless of all the corruption of the undead on his skin. Her's was no better. Looking up into his handsome face, she moved closer until their bodies touched and she kissed his lips with the last of her strength before she closed her eyes.

She was happy to hear her voice, yet it was faint, almost gone. She knew that she had to be quick as the woman continued to lose blood, and the cold wasn't helping either, since her body wasn't moving in a unconscious stance. "Not... yet." She could say telephatically as the exhaustion took over her body slowly, it was like all the strength of her was being drained by the ground as she continued to move step by step with Sumiko, since she enhanced her strength to hold her still as well, she was using the Force a lot than she could handle, no wonder why she was feeling all weak right now.. "We... need to arrive... to the great hall. I think they are there... They can .... help us." She tried to reassure the woman and also continue to speak to her mind to keep her awake. "Did you get...the address?" Breathe in, breathe out...

She continued to walk, and almost seeing the village gates, hope replaced the air from the smell of blood and flesh as they slowly walked on their corpses. A scary scene, exactly, yet nothing was more important than arriving to the great hall now, before they both joined the zombies. Yes, Nima wasn't that hurt, like Sumiko. Just tired, to be exact, yet if she slept in such a cold , she would freeze to death, and she didn't even think the fact that there were corpses all around. "Just a bit longer... We are going to... " Couldn't finish her sentence, she stumbled because she didn't see one of the dead bodies since she fixed her eyes to their destination, and this little fault caused her entire balance to go wild, it was like the ground was sliding from her feet, and soon she has found herself on the ground. "Kark kark kark!" Sumiko fell on a dead body so that could slow the fall and minimize the damage. "I am sorry..." She said to the woman, since she had no strength left to get up anymore, she tried, tried and tried, yet all her efforts made her more exhausted. Sleep has conquered the girl's body as her eyes were slowly closing to the scene. They were so close, yet... no strength to move on.

Before going out, she sent a distress signal to the all presences she could feel around the village. One of them would save them... right? Well, they better do that before they die. She did what she could, and now they had to play the waiting game. No longer having the strength to stay awake, she let her eyes to close... And she couldn't feel the cold anymore. "Don't... sleep... don't... sl..." Sleep.

With Grandmaster [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and Master [member="Coci Heavenshield"] safe he was no longer needed to watch of them. They could now do that for each other. George could not fathom the love they had for each other, with every last piece of energy they would reach out for the slightest touch or look. It was amazing, it truly showed the spirit of the Coalition, the way it felt to be apart of them. "Yes Master, got it. If either of you's need me, let me know." He replied to them both with a slight nod before turning and looking around the hall. It was full and more people were on their way. George had no experience with healing people with the force, but something inside him hold him to just go for it. The force maybe? Or maybe he subconsciously told himself he could do it? Either way he was going to try it out.

As he looked and tried a place to begin he looked to an area that was vacant. Well vacant of any help. He could see other medical staff and Jedi offering medical treatment in most areas, accept one. No medical personnel were there and the people there looked in a spot of bother. Valkyri soldiers, men women and children of the village with all different injuries and pains were sitting against the wall, many of whom had slipped in and out of consciousness. That is where he would start.

As he made his way over to a Valkyri soldier who had a large gash up his arm from what looked like a Vinterbound blade along with a deep hole in his stomach. It wasn't pretty and the blood was everywhere. Here goes. He thought to himself as he prepared to control the force within. "Its alright, I've got you. Hold still for a moment." He said calmly as he closed his eyes and placed his hands over the stomach wound with his palms facing the wound. With his eyes closed he let the force inside of him flow through towards his hands. Letting it connected with the Valkyri soldier. George could feel the force leaving him, but it was a good thing. He was using it to help others and he was glad. When he opened his eyes he felt a wave of exhaustion come over him. He hadn't done it before, so learning it took some amount of energy. However as he looked down at his handy work it was a good sign. The hole had covered up and there was only a small amount of bleeding coming from it. Not completely fixed, but enough to save him from the brink of death. So George was pleased.

Fortunately before Nima and Sumiko could completely pass out and freeze to death in the bloody cold, Kaida decided to show up on the spot since she had likewise been on the way to the village. For a change she was also in a helpful mood, for she was a nice, kind and considerate person. Well, actually she wasn't but she might as well be for a minute or two.

Well, two minutes might really be pushing it. Anyhow, snow crunched under her boots as she approached them, quickening the pace when it seemed the Twi'lek was passing out. Suffice to say both of them looked like hell. Beneath her helmet her eyes narrowed slightly when she saw the Atrisian. There was history there...not of the good sort. It involved knee-capping, among other things.

Then she grabbed Nima and pulled her up, still feeling a pulse when she checked. Eldorai were on average physically weaker than humans but with the aid of the Force she managed. For a moment she seriously debated just leaving Sumiko to freeze there, then she called one of the Valkyri warriors who had been with her over. Sometimes Lawful Neutral was a very exacting alignment and kept you from doing what you really wanted to. "Carry her," she said, you might have guessed it, coldly. Ignoring the tiredness in her own muscles and drawing upon the Force, she managed to carry the Twi'lek into the village. Presumably into the building where everyone else in this thread seemed to have congregated.
