Setting Information:
City Name: Wiri
Classification: Ancient City
Location: Yesmireenhttps://starwarsrp.net/topic/150525-yesmireen/
Affiliation: Yesmireenhttps://starwarsrp.net/topic/150525-yesmireen/
Population: Insignificant
Demographics: Predominantly populated by non-human species, Wiri has become a hidden refuge for those species that have been alienated on Yesmireen by the ruling class. The humans and near-humans that live among the alien species here have turned their backs upon the rule of the world here, choosing instead to sympathize with the oppressed. Rumblings make their way across Yesmireen of the gathering push for rebellion out of this dark and sinister place, however, that has proven to be nothing more than a nefarious rumor that has yet to prove itself a threat to the ruling class of this world.

Stability: Low; Wiri is under the constant threat of attack from Yesmireen’s own military might due to its opposed stance against the ruling cast out of Galacot Cityhttps://starwarsrp.net/topic/150530-galacot-city/. There is no real establish government to run this city of misfits and outcasts.
Freedom & Oppression: Wiri is the freest of any city on the surface of Yesmireen, with no centralized city government to control the actions of its people. This city, if it can even be called that, is the home of Yesmiri cities that have chosen to turn their backs upon the oppressive nature of the ruling class on the world.
Description: A massive ancient city constructed hundreds of years before the rise of the Galactic Empire under Palpatine, Wiri is a true marvel among this world fuel of history. It is positioned mere kilometers from the fading Nexus, Molgethhttps://starwarsrp.net/topic/150532-molgeth/, and is seemingly constantly under the ominous veil of smog or fog. Visual perception of this city makes it appear nefarious and malignant, catering to the dark desires of evil and nothing more.
Points of Interest:
- Sith Temple - A massive Sith temple sits at the center of this city. There is a constant eerie darkness that seems to palpitate forth from the ominous construct and is viewed as haunted by most inhabitants of the world in general. This temple has remained largely untouched through the years since the coming and going of both the Sith and the Taung that once inhabited this world.
- Merchant Square - Although considered a “merchant square” where inhabitants can come to buy, sell and trade goods, the market does not offer much in the way of modern textiles and goods. Instead this area better serves as a collection and trade point of local crops and essentials for survival
Security:
Low; the city itself offers little to none in the way of security. It is sparsely populated and has no official city government in place. What security is present is located at the various entrances into the city which there are only four.
Historical Information:
The city is of ancient origins and abounds with the corruption of the Dark Side of the Force. It is this corruption that likely makes this place a safe haven for those within - rejects and misfits who opposed the ruling class of the planet. The haunting nature of this place heavily deters Yesmiri intervention here, for fear they’ll unleash a malignant force to overtake and destroy their home. However, those that have come to call this place their home, have seen that those beliefs are nothing more than rumor and hearsay. That being said, very few are brave enough to test the nefarious nature of the temple that sits at the city’s center. Of those that have mustered the courage to enter the bowels of the fortress-like structure, none have emerged the same.
Little has been done by archeologists and other scientists to research the cursed grounds of Wiri and as such, much of the fortress city is still unknown, yet ready to be uncovered.
Adventurer beware! Venturing into the depths of this place is likely to change you as a person, though whether that is for the better or not is yet to be seen.
