With eyes wide open (a past rp)(complete)

Before Alderaan was taken by the Sith

Arianna entered the throne room, the guards at the doors immediately snapped straight. That was something to get use to. Slowly she walked trying to look graceful, and confident. This room however gave her doubts. It was not warm it felt cold, unwelcoming or it was her imagination. This was not how she thought her life would turn out so many things. She did not see. She smiled, like him I didn’t expect him.

The Past

Destination: Corellia

She was young, full of pride and all the advisors for the House had said there was too much risk too many rumors she needed to stay on Alderaan. But no she would have none of it, “I will not live in fear of living my life simply because of rumors, just send extra guards with me.” She tried hard not to roll her eyes at them, a trait she knew she needed to get rid of.

Within the hour though they had put together enough confidence to let her go. The confidence was a detail of six guards all highly trained, all with allegiance to House Organa.

Sitting in a seat looking around the empty cabin she thought about what she needed to do on Corellia. She needed to go and see her adoptive parents, the Darklighters who had taken her in after her parents had been killed.

Then there was the meeting with the thranta trainers from Bespin. They were wanting to negotiate to get a few more Alderaan Thranta to supplement the Bespin flyers. It should be an easy meeting.

Two days later they arrived on Corellia there had been no problems no attacks. She walked off the ship looking around now forgetting everything they had said, she was planetside what could happen.

Corellia Spaceport

The pinkish sky grew steadily darker as night approached over Coronet city. As it grew darker the lights of the massive city blinked on. The pace of the city inhabits energetic pace did not come to a close as the night grew near, it seemed to quicken. A city that never slept.

Weaving through the city sky line a transport moved closer to its destination. Easing off it slowed its momentum landing smoothly at a private spaceport high in the Coronet skyline high-rises. It was not a strange occurrence to see such a elegant transport land at a private cargo docking. Security could be fined tuned for special guest that you could not give safe passage to at a public terminal.

Cargo pods stacked up made a bit of a maze between the ship and the blast doors leading into the building. It seemed a bit to quiet, was there not supposed to be someone to great the young Royal from Alderaan?

She walked towards the door strange that no one had come out to meet her, even if it was just someone to drive her. She hesitated tilting her head so odd. But it had to be alright. She moved towards the door just as she reached for it to open there was an explosion behind her. The skies lit up Arianna's mouth dropped open in disbelief, her heart had jumped into high gear and instincts told her to run.

She hit the doors and began to run but where would she run to? Panic rose up she had left her escort, she didn't know if, OH! she turned to go back, shaking her head she heard footsteps, "Oh god yes I need help" The footsteps made a thudding nose on the floor steady, they knew where they were going they knew. She had made it to the doors to go back outside, she saw her men laying on the ground. They weren't moving. She felt her body drop oh no..

She turned fully to run, and ran right into someone, then she screamed which was quickly silenced by a shot that dropped her to the floor.

Men approached the fallen form of the young female. “Yes this is her”, one of the men dressed in a Corsec uniform. There was five of them, all wearing the uniform of Corsec. “Well let get her and go before we have company”, one of the more older me spoke in a gruff voice.

Hours later....

Gray walls and floor the room was not large but housed a single bed. Along one wall was a mirror. Two doors, one a sold metal door that was locked and one door frame where a door was supposed to bed. The door frame opened up into a bathroom with a curtain that was used as a pricy door. There was a shower in there, a sink, and a toilet. For comfort there was smaller items in there you would expect. Shampoo, toilet paper, and hand soap, and the various items you would expect

Behind the mirror someone watched waiting for the young princess to wake.

Arianna laid very still she listened she couldn't hear voice, or noises of any kind. She knew that she was not in the passageway she was somewhere else, the room felt strange to her it felt out of place. Slowly she opened her eyes looking at the ceiling, she rolled to her side and saw no one. A mirror though offered her a view of herself she looked fine, but what if they were watching through the mirror.

Slowly she rolled up to where she could sit. "My family is going to hunt you all down" Her sister was a Jedi and for certain she would notice that she had not spoken to her. She felt a little light headed had to be what they knocked her out with, and her elbow was sore. Must have hit the floor.

"What do you want?"

She stood up and went to the mirror staring at it hard not looking at herself but willing herself to look beyond, but she was no force user she couldn't see anything. "WHAT DO YOU WANT1?"

There was a crackle, as a voice spoke, "Arrangements are being made" and then it stopped.

"Arrangements??? For what???" She slapped her hand on the mirror, "OHH!" It was already a frustration. She took a deep breath, ok its only been a few hours right...got to hang on she thought, just hand on.

For the better hour Garith was squeezed into duct workings that ran from the roof into the building. The heat began to build up as it was meant to pull fresh air in and cycle it through the building. “Great”, he whispered as he came to a stop. He could go either left or right and he had no map. Shaking his head the man looked rather displeased.

WHAT DO YOU WANT!?

Tilting his head to the left Garith’s attention was caught. It was the scream of a woman asking something. It was not his objective but he started to crawl that way.

Arianna...

The man behind the mirror leaned forward in his chair. As he leaned he placed his fingers and thumbs together. The smile on his face was pleasure. He was enjoying this, it was the older man from the spaceport. “Did you hurt your hand on the mirror”, sounded condescending. “Please make yourself comfortable”, he made no attempt to hide he was enjoying this.

[member="Arianna Darklighter"]

She had hurt her hand slightly but she would not give him the satisfaction of knowing that. "No, but when I get my hands on you I'll be sure to make sure it hurts" The defiance of the unknown, the sound of his voice as it made her feel like she had no control over this, but she wanted some control.

"Comfortable" She looked around, "you have a bad idea of what is comfortable" She looked at the bathroom she could go, but she'd not give him the satisfaction of it. She looked at the mirror. "if its ransom you want, you can forget it we don't have a credit to spare" that was not far from the truth, they had spent credits on things a little too quick and already she had heard from the bankers about what it would take to get more.

How did she end up here again. Oh yeah, she didn't listen.

She thought of something, "I'm hungry, I'd like some food" She had not eaten on the way thinking that she'd be dining with friends about now, what time was it?

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

Up ahead he could hear the muffled sounds of two people speaking. The heat was awful and sweat was dripping from his forehead. It just took time slowly crawling through without making a sound

Arianna...

Nodding in agreement to what ever he was thinking. The man behind the mirror was the one in control. The prison knew nothing and could only guess. With a single button he could gas her or go and do something far worse to her. “Tell me your Grace, what would you do if you got your hands on me”, for the moment it seemed all a game. There was more truth to this story.

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

Arianna looked at the mirror "I'd like to wring your life from your miserable existence for scaring my family like this" Truth was she probably would have a hard time strangling him it was very personal and she wasn't ready for up close and personal with someone to see the life leave their eyes. No. But she didn't need them to know that, she had to be brave, smart, and face whatever happened.

Ok if she got out of this she'd make sure that she never left again without knowing for certain everything was alright, and she wouldn't tease the guards about their attire anymore, or their weapons anymore.

Arianna was thinking maybe she could throw a chair through the glass and see who it was that was acting like this, who was responsible for her being here. She fingered the edge of the chair, maybe she could do it. She looked again at the glass, "you haven't said why yet"

Why was she here.

He watched her eyes look down to the chair and back up to the glass. “You assume way to much”, he laughed at her, mocking her. “Far as you know a Clawdite has taken as we speak and your family has no idea you’re missing. Your just a pitiful spoiled rich girl who does not know how far she fell into the underworld. No one is coming for you. Your torment will be the only entertainment I will have for a long time”, he continued to monolog, “Your torment well go far beyond the physical bonds of flesh. We will see what will be left of your shallow little mind”

Closer now Garith heard the woman’s voice and her cry asking her question of why. Then he heard the man’s speech. His speech did not catch his full attention as he slowly crawled forward. It was the man’s voice, that was his target. Death would come swift for this one coming from the shadows.

What he said not only infuriated her, it scared her adrenaline shot through her as she grabbed the chair with both hands lifted and tossed it to the mirror. It hit with a loud hard crack but the mirror did not break it cracked some but nothing more. She could hear laughter as the chair fell to the floor. Frak she cursed in her mind. "Someone will come for me, they will know" She did not know how even if a clawdite had gone in her place someone would notice.

She looked at the chair again, and her stomach growled. She was hungry and her thirst was growing but she didn't trust the water, and now even if they brought her food she wouldn't want it.

"My mind will fight you and you'll not get the pleasure your looking for" She moved away and went to the door, she grabbed it pulling hard, kicking it with her foot she had to get out, she just had to.

More laughter and now she felt the tears begin to burn NO NO NO I won't cry she told herself, I won't.

“YES LITTLE BIRDIE,RUN,RUN,RUN”, mocked her again as Arianna moved to the door trying to open it then kick it. “You foolish child, even if you managed to get out I would only beat you. There is no where you can run, your mine”, his voice started to rase again, “MINE, ALL”, he stopped and looked up hearing a noise from the vent.

The man’s surprised gasp could even be heard over the sound system in Arianna’s room. The vent cover flew down striking the man’s face. Falling out of the chair he hit ground as Garith slid out of the vent. “There is no where for you to run Devlin, your death comes today”, picking the man up by the hair he tossed Devlin through the glass.

Shards of glass flew inwards as a body of a man flew through. Devlin still in a Corsec uniform hit the wall with a hard thumb, then fell to the floor. Sitting there next to the door frame to the bathroom he struggled for breath. “Who sent you”, he asked a tall man crawling through. “Where you’re going it won’t matter”, stepping into the room Garith slowly walked over not looking to the woman to his left. “The only question is, I’m going to make this painful for you?

No no NO NO. She wanted to escape she wanted to wring his neck. Just as she was trying to think of a crushing retort there was the sound of crashing. Arianna wheeled around and looked nothing she stepped forward, just as her taunter came flying through the glass and laid on the floor. OH! but then who was throwing him, oh she did not know him and she didn't know if he wasn't there to kill her too!

She flattened herself against the door, he seemed only interested in the man crawling. Oh he mentioned pain, she wanted in on that. "A suggestion, how about as much as he can endure till he passes out?"

Yeah this guy had the look of he would kill her for giggles.

The look from the man on the floor the cross between yes he's lost his mind to a touch of fear.

Devlin tried to move, when he tired he could move the upper torso but he could not move his lower body. His body sat there broken and stepped slowly forward letting the fate sink in. The man knew it was coming, his lip trembling, tears falling down his check. A coward that could only pick on helpless women. No,no...Devlin cried as the woman he was tormenting made a request.

Garith tilted his head to look at her and then back to Devlin, “That can be arranged!” Garith lifted up his hand and Devlin’s body rose up into the air. As he closed his fist Devlin convulsed as his body was beginning to be crush. Blood from every poor, moth, and ears poured forth staining his uniform. The man slowly being crushed scream was just a wet gurgle crying for help, then his body slumped as the last of his worthless life was gone.

Releasing his closed fist Devlin’s body dropped hitting the floor. Bone snapped and the sound of wet limb meat echoed in the room. Then Garith tilted his to look at Arianna again, “I’m about to leave. I doubt you wish to stay here and they will not let you leave willing. Your choice, stay here or come with me!”

[member="Arianna Darklighter"]

She was mesmerized by what he was doing and strange she felt no remorse. Live by the sword die by the sword. He was dead. It had taken less time than changing her shoes.

She looked at the body then away.

The choice here or with him. Well if he can crush a person than she was ready to go, "I'm with you" there was an alarm going off, "there could . Be more coming. "

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

His lips parted as she answer. They curled around into a devious smirk. He was looking more directly at the door behind her. The Force flowed though him as he felt his lust for destruction grew. It was time to blow the doors off this place literally, “You might want to step away from the door so I may open it.”

[member="Arianna Darklighter"]

She looked at him looking at the guy. She watched as her wishes came throughout killed him bones snapped she wanted a glass of wine to celebrate. But when she heard his. She was stubborn.

Blood ooozed out he was dead . But he was only one. "What about the others,?" She asked still taking in his looks. Was he part of the plan??

Goddess help me. She got away from the doors. Watching

Grabbing at the air with his bare hand he felt the Force flow through him. Fear, pain, anger had, fueled by the actions of the living and dead in this room had left its stain. Garith felt it, it empowered him, it flowed through him with a hunger that lusted for more.

Grabbing the thin air with that right hand he pulled his hand slowly taking in every morsel of the darkness that feed him. Violently he tossed out his hand with one intent....destruction.....

Air parted by the unseen telekinetic push. The air whipped out of its path creating a heavy draft in the room.

BAM!

The crunch of metal roared sending the door out into the hallway hitting the wall directly across from it. Knowing it was mostly likely going to be a fight to get out now, he reached down and pulled the metal cylinder off his belt. Stepping forward he angled the tip towards the floor.

Snap....hiss

The crimson glow of the saber cast its deadly glow as the towering master of the Force walked out the door.

Arianna's mouth dropped open, "holy smokes" She looked down at the door then she slowly looked over at him, how the heck did he do that? WOW! It was awesome! At 18 she had never seen a Sith.

The lightsaber was perhaps the second most incredible sight she had seen today. She trailed after him watching and keeping close, what else could he do. Fascinated she couldn't help herself. It struck her then that he did not come to rescue her, she did not think she knew anyone that knew someone like this. So he had come here looking for that man it would seem. She needed to stay on his good side.

It had to make him feel strong, commander, confident to wield such power. She having no force sense would never know, she could only watch and wish for such a thing. That was when two guards appeared, leveling off their weapon and aiming at them. She stopped, eyes wide.

[member="Garith Darkhold"]

With weapons drawn they did not give the Force User warning. The one on the left fired first. The green bolt speed towards Garith’s lower left leg. The saber hummed in the air while Garith moved it into position. In a upwards diagonal parry the crimson blade collided with the blaster bolt. The blot veered off upwards and to Garith right into the ceiling.

His blade now pointing straight up was no longer in position to block the next shot. It looked as if it was not the man’s attention as he brought his hand up to slap it away. Fear and desperation rippled off the two men. Garith felt it, how pitiful they seemed to Garith it seemed to enraged him more. Bottling up in him, ever growing in need of escape. It wanted an outlet to release it wrath. Focusing that fear and rage into his hand....he felt the power envelope his hand. Like it was annoying insect he swatted the bolt with his left hand. The green bolt slammed into the wall to Garith’s left and the two men were stunned.

Their fear and panic seemed to only enfuriate the Sith even more. With a growl his anger bubbled forth, a well spring of power clawing up to the finger tips in his left hand. He closed his left hand. The guard on the left flew into the air and towards Garith. Angling the saber his, chest level...impaled the man onto his blade. The life began to fade from his eyes. Garith trusted his hand tossing the man backwards.

The other guard dodged the corpse but when he looked up it was to late. It was a distance of at least three to four meters it was an astounding feet that just happened. The Sith had moved so fats his out line was a blur. That quickly aided by the Force he moved that far and reached out with his left hand. Wrapping his left hand around the guards throat Garith began to squeeze. The sheer power forced flesh and bone to give way. His neck shattered in a load pop that rang down the hall. A piece of bone jetted out of his flesh. The guards were taken care of so Garith glanced around quickly for an escape.

There was a window directly in front of him. It would have been the fastest way out of there. He moved to it then stopped....looking back at the person he just saved. Shaking his head he realized something. Going out the window was not an option. There was the stairwell the two guards just came from or the elevator shafts. Movement and voices could be heard coming from the stairwell. A elevator ride would take to long.

His face twisted into a anger and growling he reached out with his left hand. When he squeezed the doors to a elevator shaft buckled ripping it free. It moved through the air as he directed with his hand to the stairwell door. Placing the door the door frame Garith pressed the crimson blade to the steal door and door frame. He pressed it forward melting it the steal in a pattern of the door. Once he completed the out line he moved his saber, pointing it outward to a firehouse compartment. The metal of the water spicket was ripped lose from the hose. A gush of water shot out in a direct path to the door...hitting the hot metal. The metal hissed and steam rose filling the hallway.

Stepping over to the open elevator shaft he knew they were going to get lucky or he was going to have to come up with another idea. Smiling and nodding he was pleased with what he saw. “Come here”, he waved Arianna over,”You’re going to have to trust me”, he held out his left arm hinting he was going to have to hold her in his arms.
