Would You Believe Me If I Said It Wasn't My Fault

The Nightshadow left the cold embrace of lightspeed with little signal. The gentle shudder of the ship was the only obvious signal to many members of the crew that the The Nightshadow had arrived at it's final destination, Kashyyyk. It was the newest home of The Silver Jedi after they had vacated Voss. The wookies were probably better friends, better companions anyway, they tended to be more fuzzy and more fun.

The Captain gazed at the planet from the bridge. Kei wasn't content, he didn't want to be around The Silver Jedi again, partly out of fear of seeing [member="Noriko Ike"] after four years but also out of annoyance towards the men and woman. He didn't know what had happened to he, or she, who gave the orders to drop the bombs on Korriban City but he hoped whoever it was had suffered the same fate of many of his or her victims.

Last he knew, his guest had been sleeping. The doctor's report was stupidly detailed, Kyle always was. The many cuts and bruises had been patched up and their guest had been given a basic sedative to help him sleep. The crew man who had relayed Cade's message had been given confirmation that it would be sent, that was about it. Kei had decided that they would send it when they requested the basic landing clearence.

"Let's get the ship down, get some landing clearence. I don't know how long we're gonna be down there so we'll dock the ship for a change. Someone go wake our guest, get him up here"

It was then thought he felt bit awkward to have been the one standing there by the hangar wait for the unscheduled prisoner transport. That was said from what bit report was forwarded to them which given the hour of the night it came was still being work on. As those in the tower was still running it thru all open channel and record which normally would have had said ship. Denied entry and in the best order to keep to hold status before it was clear given all the troubles with One Sith and all. But then again take a gamble and unable shake the curiosity about the name of the accompany Jedi on board. One who at best he'd overheard been spoken off by some on the other in whispers.....along with mention of Korriban campaign which. Happened when he was away and as best he inquired about it few if anyone spoke of it and kept silent about it. Say only that it was at best a troubling campaign and pause to say nothing further about it.

Which in turn after catch glimpse of the Said Jedi name only came peek his curiosity as such. Break with protocol and better judgment of the incoming hangar commander that was come a bit late and he was just covering for till he did. That he ok it and came himself along with few guard just in case there would be trouble towards the hangar meet them...

Cale was roused and led up to the deck, in silence he complied, following them up to where [member="Kei Raxis"] waited. He was nervous. A thousand battles he'd fought and none ever caused such anxiousness as this. Perhaps this was a battle of its own, a different sort of war, one for his very soul. This would be the final battle in a very long war. At least that was what he told himself.

The home of the wookies had been a spot of conflict for many years, for wars throughout every age. Most recently it had been home to the battle that sealed the Republic's fate, if he recalled correctly. Now the Jedi returned to Kashyyyk once again, and better them than slavers. "So this is it?" He asked, unsure if he was simply thinking aloud or if it was a legitimate question.

He didn't sense any kind of executioner waiting for him, the force did not move darkly around [member="Ronin Wendigo"] as it did when one meant to take a life. Cale took comfort in that, and put his trust in the force, it was all he could do.

"So this is it?"

Kei looked to the man who had fallen in to his left. The ship had begun it's decent towards the hanger as the communication's officer made contact with the temple below. The ship slowly made the decent into atmosphere, the trees thick below them. The ship was changing course every so often, lining up with the hanger the best it could. They'd been given directions to one of the hangers and informed that one of the many Jedi within the temple would meet them.

"It's quieter than I thought"

The ship slowly glided into the hanger, the two pilots being gentle with the thrust as to not accidently punch a hole in the hanger or hit a tree. There were slight corrections needed but nothing major. The main worry was hitting a tree, the crew felt that hitting a tree would slightly ruin morale and probably leave a few people dead. The hanger grew larger in front of them as they came closer to it.

The ship touched down in the hanger. They had a boarding ramp but that was hardly any fun. Instead Kei lead his guest to the loading ramp where they loaded cargo used for the ships adventures. The rmap lowered when the duo arrived, revealing the entire cargobay of the ship. Kei lead his guest, Cale down from the ship out onto the hanger. He looked for the Jedi who had been sent to meet them.

He spotted him, and bowed.

And so it was after making the necessary arrangement get clearance for the arriving ship that he then despite some backtalk some the night crew about his choice of port gives them. That it was settled and he soon with one the section chief take over while he attended to the new arrival. Whom no sooner had he made it there appeared have disembarked and he then proceeds approach. And one them glance his way than with the customary bow show respect that in turn he sort reciprocated albeit he sort felt awkward doing so. Seeing it been a while since he'd ever had to. As for most days, he spent far away from the temple at best deep undercover in scout mission on his own.At any rate, seeing the other with him he then proceeds to speak.

"Well hope the ride down wasn't too bad.... seeing this platform had barely been operation for too long. But I reckon after a long trip bit quite a time off the main routes be decent. But in any case, guess be best get to the questions out of the way but. I would have sworn the manifest captain sent said some about a prisoner and see don't seem to see one. I guess there more to it then? Which if it is the case I would reckon ask while we take a walk. "

He then notion to the two forward he then followed suit behind them. As the rest of the ground crew after he waves them thru proceed to slowly advance to go ahead with things need secure the ship.

"......and don't worry ground crew is good in taking care of what needed for the rest of your crew disembark. And if I may ask would this be a short or long stay? As am assuming you don't look like the kind that hang around these part much..."

He then turns to face Kei and back to the other.

"But just somewhere dorm up on the main temple that free or if you want. Or if you'll rather not there couple spare room in over not far from this hangar if you prefer bit peace and quite?"
