Wow, This Faction Name Is Going To Make Things Confusing (Dominion's Hex Dominion of Ventooine)

Cedric did not know of the figure ever revealing his face before.

A brow was quirked as [member="Soeht"] did just that. Anonymity was a powerful thing, perhaps one of the most powerful forces in the galaxy. To give up such a thing was a grave risk, one that the specter evidently judged as worth taking given the circumstances.

Perhaps he was worth hearing out.

The Archlord did not hesitate to step forth. His mind was one forged in the crucible of war; his will was that of iron and steel. There was little Soeht could do to gain any hold over the youth's mind that was not allowed, and so he had little fear when he took the step forward.

"Show me then."

"Anything new you learned?" the project foreman asked.

"All right, this is about our right-of-way: we have 1,000 acres of right-of-way for future expansion"

"Really?"

Lanever Villecham Spaceport on Hosnian Prime took about 1,500 acres, and Cademimu-Flashpoint a little less than that: if they had that much right-of-way, the Trian authorities expect the spaceport to serve not simply the colony, but to relieve the whole planet's spaceport infrastructure as a whole. Now that the walls were up, it will be a while until the roofing is capable of being made in any of the buildings. Until then, all that they can do is internal work.

Credits, of course. That made sense. What kind of services couldn't credits buy? Muscle, pilots, armies, even knowledge in some rare cases. The almighty credit could do a lot if you had enough. "I heard there was some talk of a mandalorian enclave being formed in the Dominion." She ventured, settling down as the ship began to warm up. She'd honestly never been in one of these before, and for a moment, she didn't care, as long as it stopped her from making a mistake with the Jedi down below. She tilted the joystick before her, and the turret began to slide smoothly. "Turret's unlocked." Man, that sounded like some line from the RTS game they had made a while back. Or maybe the base defense one. She couldn't remember.

"So what inspired you to fly?"

Objective: 2

"What made me choose to fly? I couldn't really put on finger on any one reason, I always liked ships, I always liked big guns, and I don't like staying in one place for too long."

Gate beeped and the translation rolled out on her display, he was picking up some weird mechanical signals from the village up ahead, malfunctioning labour droids most likely, but it was better to be prepared than not, Alice hit a switch and armed the heavy weapons.

"Hey back there! Gate's picking up some malfunctioning droids in the first village, I'm gonna fly us low and slow so we can get a good look keep your eyes and your force, or what it is, open."

Something caught in Grace's throat as the fighter moved close to the village. Droids didn't make sense. There was something malevolent here, something wrong. If those were what she hoped, just some malfunctioning droids, then she wouldn't sense anything. There would be no reason for the bile rising in her throat, the hairs rising on the back of her neck. Something else was at play here. And even the sith didn't like it.

"Be careful. Something dark's here." As the ship dashed in, she watched the creatures, and her stomach fell. If those were what she thought, they had their work cut out for them. For a moment, she thought she might vomit. "By Vahl..." She muttered, her eyes darting from one mass of metal to the next. She'd only heard of this in hushed rumors.

Soeht’s finger touched [member="Cedric Grayson"]’s forehead.

Voices and eyes. Everywhere.

A green light from the sky. It fell upon a city of opulence and vanity. The daughter of Hapes tries to survive.

Mandalore laid in ruins. A young girl offers her help.

A servant acting in his master’s name.

A girl on Coruscant serves a drink to an Underworld drug lord.

Voracitos goes mad against Darth Desmius.

Illyria watches her Z̶̢̕m̷͠F̶͝0͡҉̸̶ą̴͡G̛͟V̶̛͘͜͢y̸̛͘͠.

Connections. Voices. Eyes. Everywhere.

A mind of iron was pushed to the breaking point.

Cracks formed in the walls of his psyche. The defensive barriers he had formed to protect himself from such a happening were stressed to their very limit.

Names and faces he had never known flowed through his mind like a crimson river. They touched every piece of his thoughts, smattering his psyche with their presence. A thousand minds had been one with his own before, but these were not willing. They were strangers. Deceit.

Lies.

Broken.

Gray eyes flickered open, though Cedric was not within the physical realm. His presence ebbed within the ethereal, with Soeht alongside him.

"These are the minds of those you have empowered? Your memories?"

Objective: 2

Alice circled the area trying to get a better view of the mechanical abominations that were stumbling around down in the village, there wasn't a normal person viable.

"What the kark are those things down there?"

The way the walked and how they looked, it seemed like they walked directly out of the uncanny valley.

Ventooine.

[member="Cedric Grayson"] introduced himself to Agamen. Likening part of the monster to a cadaver. His thoughts. Laid out to read.

And S͢͝o̷͜͞ȩ͢h̀͢͟t̵̷̶͟ ̛̀͟͠read it all.

Soeht then removed his finger from Cedric's forehead.

Grace struggled to form words, her eyes locking on the nearest one. "Technobeasts." The word escaped her lips as though it was breaking free of a cage. "They're an abomination of alchemy. We need to wipe them out now." She shook her head. What had done this? It couldn't end well. If one escaped, the whole planet could be in danger. "If you've got an ion bomb, I'd drop it on them, then let me out so I can make sure they're destroyed."

She knew very little of the things, other than that they could be killed, and that they spread like a plague. They'd need to scour the planet.

And end whoever did this.

Shorarri chased the terrentatek. The beast limped away as fast as it could. Shorarri circled it a little and then finally struck. He began to hack away at it with his machete. The beast fell to the ground as Shorarri raised his arm and beat the beast. Black ichor began to spray the wookiee's fur and his brown coat began to turn a sickly grey. The beast whimpered beneath the Wookiee's mighty swing. He roared vehemently in victory. No longer would this beast pillage the local village. Shorarri took his machete and cut a fang from the creature. He then swung his machete down atop the creatures head for the killing blow

"I will consider your offer."

The words fell from his lips before his thoughts could truly find him. "I will consider it, and in time, we will meet once more. When that day comes, our pact shall be made. For now, I think we both have things we must work towards in order to prepare for her coming."

They kept spilling forth.

A gust of cold wind brushed between the two.

"Our alliance shall stay in secret. If we truly dedicate ourselves," his brow furrowed. "Then we may stop Abeloth yet."

Objective: Destroy the abominations

"I have ten."

It was simple to take them all out, Alice hit the engines and rose up into the air, she spun around into a dive and checked her targeting computer, they were starting to spread out, not that it was an issue though as the computer gave her a shot. Drawing a circle with the nose she released a group of four, waiting a moment for the blasts to die down Alice put the ship down and popped the canopy so Grace could get out.

She lept from the ship, no hesitation in her actions. They needed to do this, and the others were too far away. They were little more than slumped over bodies at this point, and it wasn't to difficult at this point. Slice, slash, repeat. Most of them were together. She had a mental count of eighteen by the time the last stragglers were starting to move.

She got to one more before they were awake again. She slashed it down, but the other was advancing, twisted metil limbs clawing for her flesh. "The fleeeeesh is weeeeeak" She froze. How could it talk? They weren't supposed to do that. Right?

It lunged, a jagged edge narrowly missing her arm as she disabled it. Sighing, she tapped her com. "That's the last of them."

Or was it?
