Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

"Yes sir."

His response to the Mand'alor was interrupted by both, the feeling of lethargy that swept through his body momentarily and the two grenades flying through the air. As everyone began maneuvering to get away, Marev was no different. Several were heading for the roof, others were flipping tables, Marev done for the bar passing the standing woman and crashing into the shelves to roll behind the bar as the explosions rocked the cantina.

There bar split from the force of the detonation, the enclosed space amplifying the shock waves within the closed interior. Despite having the solid bar between him and cutting his external speakers the shock wave rocked his body back against the floor.

Snarling he rose and raised his rifle aiming a shot at RC, a shot that die to the range and his distraction by the Commander couldn't possibly miss. His brains would become a mist. Finger tightened on the trigger to send blaster bolts through the enemy and rid the Galaxy of a dar'manda who had terrorized Manda'yaim.

Nothing happened.

Dropping below the bar once more he slung the impotent rifle behind his back on the strap, snarling within his helm, as he reached for his beskad intending to mirror the ori'buir. But as his hand landed in the hilt his eyes spied the slug thrower behind the bar. Grabbing the shotgun he leapt onto the bar firing a round that launched the shower of pellets toward RC, the original target, before jumping down to cover the main entrance.

Chambering another round he moved along the wall and dropped to a knee looking for the flash of brown fur representing the ewok and the new objective given by Ra the Undying. Just as he located the midget, deranged, snuggle bear a land speeder crashed through one of the walls bringing down a portion of the roof and sending flying shrapnel in the form of chunks of wall.

Just another day in the Tal'rekr.

"Stay on the ship, Yasha." [member="Preliat Mantis"] rumbled.
"Stay on the ship, Yasha." [member="Silas Mantis"] pointed at Yasha, then the floor.
"What did we tell you do do, ad'ika?" Both Mantis brothers said to the girl, who made it her purpose in life that minute to see how fast her chair could spin round and round.

"Stay on the shiiip." Yasha pouted, spinning slower and slower until the chair stopped moving. "B-but.. but you might need me."

The sheer volume of the Mantis vode's "NO!" made Yasha rub her ears long after her Buir and Ba'vodu were gone. So it was, the tiny hell child of the Mando'ade discovered that the chair spun fast enough to make her tummy twist in knots. It also hit an unsuspecting Mando'ad pilot hard enough to knock them both on their backside, when she took a running start and jumped on the chair to ride down the ship's corridor.

Mischief achieved, Yasha took it upon herself to point at every button on the pilot's console, asking, "What's that one!? And that one!? OOO! Can I touch it!?"

When the pilot and co-pilot barred the door from the inside, Yasha burbled a sigh and peered over the shoulder of the Mando'ad she'd knocked over. The battle wasn't going to good. Even [member="Ra Vizsla"] was there!

Then.... she saw it.

Yasha Mantis couldn't possibly, no way in Netherworld, not a chance in anything, never ever not ever stay on the ship. She scampered and grabbed her gauntlets and gear, hopping down to the surface in time to see the speeder wreck a wall. That didn't matter.

Only one. Thing. Mattered.

Yasha pointed, and out screeched the highest pitched, most destructive shriek in the history of the known universe, the screech of a hyper 8 year old girl.

"EEEWWOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!! EEEEE!!!!!!!!!"

Little Yasha Mantis barrelled straight for [member="Warok the Defiler"]. "I'M GONNA MAKE A FRIEND!!!!"

Or kill it. Whatever 'procure' actually meant.

The Cantina

Explosions roiled. People screamed. Warok giggled madly.

"Yes, yes, yes."

He flitted in and out of the smoke, like a wraith. A heavy chain lay wrapped around his torso like a bandolier. A pair of gauntlets glinted golden on his paws, shockwave generators humming.

Beside him loomed [member="Ra Vizsla"], barking an order.

Catch?

The necromancer of Ziost tilted his head.

"Catch."

A gauntleted punch hurtled through the intervening space between himself and Ra Vizsla's armored kneecap. Not that armor would do it much good. The shockwave generators were the same sort used in the power hammers of miners. Power hammers used to shatter boulders in a single swing. The punch wouldn't crumple beskar, but the transference of kinetic energy meant it wouldn't need to to shatter the ligaments beneath should it land.

A high pitched child's scream pierced the din of battle. Ewok?

There was an EWOK in the bar! A real live Ewok like Clumsy the Ewok and his Fantastic Forest Ewokie Friends! Yasha had all the holo-books, every single one of the children's picture books! The little girl didn't have a concept that [member="Warok the Defiler"] was a different kind of Ewok.

All Ewoks were friendly, right!? On her way to said fluffy would-be friend, Yasha sliced at a mercenary's knee with her beskad. The man dove to the ground, clutching his knee. He dropped his hold out blaster and Yasha picked it up, stuffing it in her sunshine-printed messenger bag. "No! No shooting at my Buir!"

"EWOOOOOK!!!!!" Yasha screamed as she ran at Warok from behind, tackling onto his back and throwing her arms around his neck.

"He's.... So! ... FUZZY!!!!" The fuzzy Ewok went after [member="Ra Vizsla"]!? "Bad, Ewok! Kneecapping people is my job!"

Onyx dived away from the attackers, eyeing each of them and then back to his two allies. Bringing both sabers forward he prepared to defend himself against anyone who tried to best him. He gave a quick glance to Ra and gritted his teeth in anger.

"YOU WILL NOT LEAVE HERE ALIVE!"

Deactivating one saber, Onyx quickly reached for a thermal detonator on his belt and launched it towards the Mand'alor. As the explosive device gracefully cut through the air, Onyx launched a hand forward. The thermal detonator flew top speed, straight for his target. He was bent on claiming victory of Ra, whatever it took.

Not Ordo

Just under the upper hand.
Kal gathered up a grand total of 35 creditsfrom hs canteen cup and stood. He stretched his back as he heard the myriad noises behind him inside the enclosed place that said someone didn't understand how high explosives worked. He walked across the street to a person who was watching the place with a GNN camera outside a news speeder.

Kal walked up to the man in the drivers seat while the camera droid hovered outside.

"Hey." Kal said his voice surprisingly smooth despite his homless appearance. "An Ewok, a Zeltron, and a Mandalorian walked into the bar."

The news man looked up and sighed.

"I'm not in the mood for your jokes old man." The news guy, a human, (Kal could smell the stupid) said sounding annoyed, "Here's 20 credits. Now get lost."

Kal took the credits from the guy and shook his head as he started to walk away.

"Moron." He said to himself as he headed to a new bar. Preferably, one where i was quiet.

[member="Darren Onyx"] was cocky. Which is why he let his guard down in a firefight. The shotgun placed against Preliat's shoulder, slug in the chamber, with seven more in the tube- were right at the distracted chest of the would-be Revan.

The thing about Lightsabers- is that they were, not entirely beneficial against slugthrowers. Which is why Preliat carried slugthrowers. Sure, they could deflect a number of attacks. But at this range, the spread was the entirety of the man's chest. He had met more powerful Sith, more attuned to combat than this buffoon before, that would not be able to deflect, or block all of the pellets from Preliat's shotgun. One pellet alone would be enough to send most grown men back several feet- and the fact that there were about

Preliat didn't have a shotgun wedding, but he damned if he wouldn't have a shotgun funeral for the man trying to take Ra's life.

The commotion had been a tad insane, and after narrowly avoiding having his arm EMPed by flying out of the hole as ordered the re-entering, Silas found himself in a particularly confused state. The dar'jetti [member="Aurora"] had turned on her saber and hit the ground for some reason. Did she want to make sure it worked? It worked. Then she left, and suddenly [member="Yasha Mantis"], despite repeated 'Do not leave the ship' orders was now attacking [member="Warok the Defiler"], whilst the creature tried to kneecap his Mand'alor. What the hell was even happening anymore?

Setting his sights back on [member="Darren Onyx"], he joined [member="Preliat Mantis"] once again by unleashing another torrent of fire at the overconfident force user with an unhealthy obsession with a historical figure. Revan had done bad things sure, but the man wasn't a monster from Silas' understanding. He'd been a rather upstanding person by the time his life concluded, and he couldn't see the man as being incredibly cocky either. Regardless of the accuracy of the man's interpretation, Silas was content to join his brother with another substance that was in the camp of things that one couldn't smack away with a lightsaber.

The man wasn't going to do a thing to his Mand'alor, the Mantis brothers would make sure of that. Just like they'd make sure his niece understood what 'Stay on the ship' meant after they were done with this mess.

Aurora stood from outside, watching the cloud of smoke. It seemed dropping the rest of the building on them didn't have the desired effect.
"Urgh." She groaned "Work..."
She was about to leave when she spotted a kid in the mix, clearly oblivious to the danger. In her own childhood Aurora had seen her fair share of bloodshed and war but she'd never walked straight into one. Even if the kid thought she could handle it, Aurora had a sinking feeling of dread in her stomach. The escalated fight was bad enough without a child getting caught in the crossfires and by what Aurora could sense, it seemed even worse individuals could show their faces...
"God damnit." She hissed to herself as she ran back in, force jumping over the where the girl was... and some kind of cybotic ninja ewok?... She felt more surprised that it didn't even phase her, force pulling a table over to give them cover from stray shots.
"Look kid." She addressed [member="Yasha Mantis"] "This is fun and all but you can't be in here... If you wait outside I'll bring the ewok with me for you to snuggle- or whatever people do with ewoks these days... Sounds good?"
She tried to give her usual charming grin but realised it was way too flirty for a child, making it more a kind smile.

As he launched himself, Onyx fell off balance as [member="Silas Mantis"] and [member="Preliat Mantis"] both attacked themselves. Onyx quickly deactivated one of his sabers and brought the open hand down, forcing the various slugs to fall to the ground. It didn't stop one from striking his leg, throwing off his balance and therefor missing his target.

However he quickly regained his footing and eyed the pair. His eye shifting from yellow to red. He launched both hands forward, intending to throw the two against the walls and tables behind them. Regardless if that worked, the several chairs, tables, bottles, and other derbies between Onyx and them also went flying. Immediately following the onslaught he again turned his attention on Ra, activating both sabers. He eyed the Mand'alor and slowly walked over.

He would need to be smart, he had made too many mistakes already. It was time for him to show them he wasn't just the descendant of Revan, he was better then him too.

His shots went wide as the man moved. Tal grunted at the inconvenience.

While [member="Darren Onyx"] focused on ignoring the Umbaran and dealing with the other two, Tal closed the distance between them. By the time his target was turning back to re-engage the Mand'alor, he was a mere two steps away. A distance he closed in a moment before driving a hard swing of his power hammer straight at the man's back.

Armor or not, this was gonna hurt.

Meanwhile, a speeder crashed through a far wall and he was pretty sure he'd heard Ra shout something about capturing an Ewok.

Not your average bar brawl, then.

"What the..."

Ra mouthed a FFFFuuu sound beneath his helmet as the little psychotic ewok erupted from the darkness, saying a single word that Ra didn't register before the creature punched his chest.

He was ready to have destroyed this little beast.

The Mand'alor hated Ewoks.

It wasn't racially motivated hatred, simply a thing Ra had seen as a child on a holoflick. Some sort of horror show he had been allowed to watch that he didn't remember the plot of. He thought it had something to do with not feeding them after midnight, but he couldn't recall. Still, though. The leader of the Mandalorians had not been ready for what would follow through the creature's punch to the behemoth's stomach.

It was like a thousand Dewbacks had stampeded his armor. Ra gasped as the air emptied his lungs, and the titan of Manda'yaim went flying across the room.

He saw stars. And a thermal detonator flying towards where he had been, towards the Ewok. If he hadn't been so dazed, perhaps he would've wondered what sort of idiot throws a thermal detonator in the middle of a bar brawl.

Ra collided with the wall on the opposite side of the Cantina,
crashing into a pillar and bringing part of the Cantina down on his own head.

Preliat, seeing the detonator, did the sensible thing and activate his jetpack- and grabbed his brother by the collar, after getting up from Darren's attack. He and his brother drug across the floor, outside of the detonation range of the grenade. He and his brother skidded along the floor- but the Mantis brother and their heavy armor made sparks, but otherwise, they were no worse for wear.

He pat his brother on the shoulder and picked up his shotgun, ready to rejoin the fight. He also was going to make sure Yasha was very, very, very, very grounded after this.

"OOF!" Yasha's bum hit the ground as a greater cacophony broke across the bar. "Come back, fuzzy wuzzy! Wait... hey! Stay off Ra!"

[member="Aurora"] swung up and a table clanked down, defending Yasha from a series of shots. The girl put her back to the table, checking her gauntlet and peering through for a spot to enter the incursion. Something about Aurora's smile stopped Yasha in her tracks.

"Lady! He's so fluffy! I's never seen a real live Ewok before!" Yasha smiled, peeking around to try and see the fluffy guy once again. "I've never seen a real teddy bear!"

She couldn't help but giggle as the firefight picked up. It wasn't the danger which caused the giggle, nor was the child insane. She peeked and saw [member="Warok the Defiler"] kick up his feet, and it made the girl laugh. Ewoks were much more awkward in real life than in her holobooks. The giggle ended when [member="Darren Onyx"] threw her family around.

"DADDY!! Uncle Silas!" For a second it looked like Yasha would vault over the table and run toward [member="Preliat Mantis"] and [member="Silas Mantis"]. She watched as her father took hold of Uncle Silas, and winced. "Lady! My Dad! My... aw snookle-teddies you're right, he'd want me to get outta here too!"

"Ra!!" [member="Ra Vizsla"] smashed against the wall, an explosion causing Yasha to shriek and dive into Aurora's arms. Suddenly remembering her father and uncle's orders to stay on the ship, she looked up at Aurora with her goggled face, "My family's here! All three of them! I only got them left! I gotta save my family! I gotta!"

Yet, with the explosion, the firefight and the ungodly yelling, Yasha took one more look at Aurora and started scampering at a crawl out toward the street. "Reinforcements! Where'd I put Kaden's bazooka!? Sounds good, Lady! Thank you! This sure beats another night in Hell!"

Aurora watched [member="Yasha Mantis"] leave the bar, still stunned after the girl had jumped into her arms. She didn't quite understand why she felt so protective over the kid but maybe it had something to do with that she reminded herself of when she was younger.
"And of course now I'm compromised." She uttered under her breath, feeling torn of what to do. She could just leave but that would risk letting the fight escalate more. So that meant she had to stay... but now there was the issue of who to defend; her mission or the kid's family. Of course she could just go in lightsaber ablaze... it would be fun.
"Right." She planned to herself "Disarm and defuse."
In one smooth move, Aurora leaped over the table and took note of where everyone currently was, her fingers tightening their grip around her lightsaber.
She decided to first go for [member="Warok the Defiler"] which would clear up her end of the bargain with the girl. Her jacket rolled off her shoulders and balled up into her hands as she weaved towards the ewok- a sly bugger. Watching him flit around, she quickly predicted his moves and unravelled her jacket, flinging it over his head and hopefully preventing some movement as she wrapped it around his body. If it worked she'd easily be able to take him outside to the kid without risking a few bruises.

[member="Ra Vizsla"] @etc way to many lol

The punch aimed for the Mandalorian’s kneecap found his chest instead with a gratifying crunch and squeal of metal on metal. The amplified impact sent Ra through a wall, debris collapsing all around him.

Something small tackled Warok from behind. The Ewok gurgled as tiny arms wrapped around his furry throat before an explosion knocked them both apart and to the ground. Warok rose, a tiny tower of terror with his soot-blackened fur.

Suddenly, a woman threw a coat over his head.

“Mmf. Mm.” He grumbled incoherently, then promptly grabbed the coat with both paws and ripped it in half.

Body shuddering with a giggle, Warok looked up at the woman with eyes like burning tar pits.

“Shhh. Shhh. The spirits are watching.” Giggle. “I’m watching too.”

The flames in his eyes grew in intensity as he affixed [member="Aurora"] with his gaze, seeking to quite literally set her on fire with his Deadly Sight.
