Yes, We're After a One 'Lady Kay'

There it is...

He had finally arrived at the seedy bar that he had seen so many times before. His armor was hidden, for the most part, underneath a small cloak that he wore when the situation required. This situation was always very precarious as were all ventures to the metropolitan planet. He was here once again for a simple reason... He had been called, and not by just any old spacer with a want for someone dead or something cracked, but a rather new contact named Yee Lung. He was a slicer too, by trade, but there were some devices that even he had trouble with on occasion. Not that Marcus held any sort of arrogance, as he had met Yee during some business on Balmorra that had turned a bit hectic. A skilled Slicer indeed... Nearly blew the whole operation. He was able to push these thoughts aside though as some sort of creature cracked beneath his metal boot, and it only made him sigh with annoyance at the knowledge that he was once again back down in the pits of this planet.

As he walked down the street, a few whiphid thugs looked to him with scowls that would have terrified even the most unwieldy member of the sith. He looked away from beneath the helmet and continued on towards the door that would mark the beginning of this job. The inside was nothing special of course. You had your bar and the odd Duros woman who owned the place. She was nice enough, though he never had enough time to have a chat with her, as he didn't come here for the drinks. After a brisk look at the occupants, he noticed one in particular... A large Herglic. He admired the uniqueness of the creature for a few mere seconds, before heading off to the bar where he had already come to find Yee sitting over his datapad. In silence he sat down next to the young man and nodded at Frida to bring him his usual, Corellian Ale.

He removed his helmet and felt the gaze of the younger man come from the screen and look at the gauntleted hands that had been set next to him. The beverage arrived rather quickly, and Marcus took one large gulp of it before setting it back on the table.

"You said you needed something?.. And i'm guessing it has something to do with the overgrown fish in the corner..."

He said this in a rather hushed down, as he was in no mood to anger the clientele that Yee had dug up. He had hardly noticed at the time, but through the corner of his vision, he could see the other man that accompanied the Herglic. A helmeted man, who looked more comfortable in this place. He was clearly the more experienced of the two, and he could swear that they were already looking his way.

"Well Yee?.."

"So, what's with him?" asked Ghorua, nodding his head towards Yee Lung. "Does he have a story?" Solo smiled, resting his hands on his knees, "Well, his is quite the story. If not the most amazing story I've ever heard. So, I was tracking this guy on Vurdon Ka whe-" Solo stopped just as he had begun his story, "Who's that," Solo said, subtly motioning to Marcus. Solo finished his drink and placed the tankard down on the gaming table. He firmly place his hammerhead-like helmet on and walked back over to Yee. "Friend of yours?" Solo asked, Yee only raised his brows in confirmation, "Alright," he said and turned to Marcus, "We're looking for information on Lady Kay. Who she is, where she is, and what she does."

"I don't know the guy." Ghorua sighed. That sounded like a good story. Setting down his drink next to the holographic Strider, he walked up behind Julian, imposing his presence on the newcomer. He severely doubted that this small human would be trouble, but Nar Shaddaa apparently was a place where Jawas and Ewoks could out-wrestle Rancors. Yee seemed to convey something to Solo, and Julian layed out the details. Ah, another slicer.

What was it with Humans and helmets? Solo had a weird helmet, this guy had a helmet... One of these days, I'll understand Humans.

Marcus looked to the man that had approached him so blatantly with a stare of confusion. Well he was certainly direct... He sounded like a younger man, though it was hard to tell due to the helmet. He was certainly Brash enough...

"Well... I can answer a few of those questions."

He took another drink of the pint and placed it back on the bar before checking his own datapad. He was not accessing any sort of information of course. He didn't really need to. Lady Kay was actually a rather popular woman, as he had heard. Some sort of chancellor? Or maybe a princess. Well he would certainly have to look that up... A senator? A bit less than he was expecting... He had seen the listing before of course, both the Hutt Cartels and another criminal organization had high prices on this particular politician, though he hardly knew why.

"And I'm guessing I get the credits after you get the information... Unless you want to give it to me all in advance?"

Marcus gave them a smirk and took yet another drink before going back to his datapad to dig up all of the information that might be practical to them. It would take him perhaps an hour before he could give them an accurate location on where her ships had gone, as it seemed she had no personal vessel. Smart... Harder to track her paper trail anyways...

"You guessed right, slicer." Ghorua stepped up next to Julian to look closer at the new guy. He was small, but then again, practically everyone was small. His one obvious defining factor was his Mandalorian outfit. Mandalorian, hmm?

Ghorua the Fish looked between the slicers. Perhaps they were doing a team-up too? As long as this guy could find Lady Kay, whoever she is. Ghorua never payed much attention to politics, but he supposed he should start. So far, being a Hunter has not been what Ghorua expected. This isn't some gung-ho shoot-up profession, it's about getting as many advantages as you can before you go gung-ho. And if an extra slicer helped give them an advantage, Ghorua would be happy.

Solo stood in the bar as still as a stone, staring at the wall into nothingness. He was quiet. "Ugh," he mumbled as Yee threw a pen at his helmet, knocking him out of his daydream. He had zoned out, thinking of nothing. "Imam trag," Yee said, turning his datapad. It was a profile of a Jedi, "Ona ima prijatelje , a jedan od njih je vaš rođak, Hawk Solo." He looked like Julian, while there was no denying a shared heritage, there were significant differences in appearance. The man was older, his eyes more piercing. The man looked like he commanded respect, Julian? All he commanded was a ship.

"Našao sam gdje je ona može biti," Yee said, turning his datapad back to him, "Commenor, Chazwa i Bakura. Bakura nam mjesto utočišta za nju, i gdje ona može popuni njen Sapir čaj ostavlja da je ona toliko voli." Solo looked to Ghorua, "Well, that complicates things. She's a senator and a close friend of a Jedi, Hawk Solo. But we got three possible locations: Commenor, Chazwa and Bakura. Yee says she goes to Bakura frequently to get Sapir leaves. We set up a trap on Bakura, and wait."

Ghorua looked to his partner with a smile. They had a lead. That was all they needed. Ghorua eyed the photo of Hawk Solo. "Don't suppose you know this guy."

This bounty was going to be difficult, to say the least. Ghorua had never met a Jedi before, to his knowledge, but he did know a few things. They were soft, compassionate, and through all that, are one of the most powerful groups in society. This bounty had just turned difficult. The Herglic cracked his knuckles, a monstrous sound that brought to mind the sound of breaking duracrete, and gazed out the window into the gloom of Nar Shaddaa.

"Alright, Solo. Shall we go in the morning? I've got a few toys I've been wanting to try out for a long time now."

"No, can't say I know him," Solo answered, "And I don't want to meet him, either." He turned his head at the sound of snapping duracrete. Knowing that the loud sound was simply the Herglic was innately irritating and disturbing. The only thing more annoying could have been nails scraped across a chalkboard. The Herglic offered they leave in the morning, and Solo nodded his head, "Aye, best we leave then, but I say we return to the freighter and get back to our ship in orbit. My shipment should be dropped off by then, and I've got a lifetimes worth of weapons on board. We'll be better prepared there."

"Of course." Ghorua stretched, and turned to the slicers. "You two have been a big help. If you ever need anything," he said, pulling out his card, a black laminated square with his contact information, "...just call me. When you have a big problem, think about hiring a bigger one." He winked, and turned back to his fellow hunter.

"Shall we depart for the ship? I hate leaving our game of Dejarik, but it looks like we probably need to rest and take inventory." He already felt exhausted, and the battle hadn't even started yet. Plus, he felt a bit buzzed from the drink. He fought the urge to pull out his blaster cannon and rotate the barrels. He didn't know why it calmed him down, it just did.
