Kendrix
Salt in a Wound
Darth Venefica didn’t seem thrilled to see their mother, but Kendrix felt it was best. Together they could hear it from her if it were really true or not. If they were actually sisters. The vision of Venefica took away her doubt however. It was frightening how much this woman looked like their mother. So much so that Kendrix wanted answers. Why wasn’t she told that she had a sister? What else was her mother hiding?
Kendrix took a moment to look at the severed blade of her father’s sword quietly morning the loss of its blade. She left its sheath on the ground beside it but kept the hilt on her person. She wanted to keep at least it to remember him by. After that she lead her sister out of the woods and into the city of Crovhana. It’s large structure interlaced with the beauty of nature. Despite being middle class, Kendrix actually lived just within the noble quarters. She was far from noble however. None of the noble Theowei paid her mind how ever except for staring at her and lifting their noses to the air. Kendrix ignored them and instead led Venefica up a slight hill to her home.
Opening the door they descended a few steps into the front foyer before entering the home. The walls were an eggshell color of stone decorated with different lace and knot designed tapestries. Most of the furniture made out of wood and curved for a fluid and elegant design. They weren’t a noble family but the home gave a false sense that they were.
“MOTHER!” Kendrix voice rang harshly throughout the home in an attempt to call her mother. She couldn’t feel her in the force however. The already shaken up girl felt even more on edge because of this. Her footsteps resonating through the home as she disappeared through a door. She returned a few moments later with a note in her hand and a blank expression. An expression void of any emotion. No anger. No sorrow. In her other hand, she held a bone arm bangle with a floral pattern carved onto it, a symbol of marriage to the Theowei.
