“You ever feel a place lie to you?”

You Shouldn’t Be Here
The vault came into view as Braze crested the ridge. It was a jagged split in the moon’s surface, choked with blackened basalt like stone with the the sharp lines of something artificial poking through. From a distance, it could’ve passed for a natural fault. Up close, it was much more obvious: this had been buried on purpose.

The entrance was oddly narrow sitting just tall enough to walk through, framed in scorched metal and weathered black stone. Whatever structure had once stood above it was long gone, collapsed and consumed by time and tectonics.

His boots crunched over volcanic glass as he approached, thick dust trailing behind him in short, weightless plumes of ink. The air was thin with no real atmosphere to breathe, but his gear compensated. Inside the helmet, everything was quiet except for his breath and the faint hiss of recycled air.

There were markings around the entrance carved deep into the stone, some faded and others half-melted away. They were of Sith origin.

He paused at the threshold indicating that a few pictures taken from [Gidgit] should suffice as evidence.

The passage beyond the entry was steep and dark, descending into a blackened abyss. There was no light inside, nor any sounds; just the suggestion of space and weight. His hand drifted to the saber at his belt, not drawing, just resting there.

"This place seems to have seen better days huh buddy?"

Mission: Explore ruins

Melissa was here on official House business.

The hyper-advanced Bio-Droid had no real need to breathe on the airless moon, but she had come in a fully sealed helmet and a ultra reflective, absolutely skintight crimson catsuit modified for enviro-walks to give the impression she was fully organic, as well as to be able to speak.

She had come here in her Heavy Sniping Interceptor after detecting the signals. The House didn't like ruins like these left in play. Standing orders were if Sith Ruins got detected, then destroy them.

She had a number of det charges with her. She was not vulnerable to the Force the way others were, so she would document whatever she found before caving it in.

She flew to the site her scanners showed using her repulsor organs to fly almost like she was a superhero, stopping in mid-air as she spotted Braze Braze .

Her organic databases identified him immediately. He was a serious candidate to be offered entry into her House. Nathan thought of him as one of the few genuine friends he had made amongst Jedi.

Melissa would not have it said she was not diplomatic. Especially to a prospect the offer has not yet been made to.

Melissa floated down, her very design just screaming smoke show as she landed, waving in a friendly manner. She had, like so many Androids descended from the science of Nine Lives Nine Lives , been crafted to be a masterpiece of feminine charms.

"Hi there!" She said flashing a smile. "I'm Melissa! Melissa Bloodscrawl! My brother told me about you!"

Braze was startled by the blonde woman who seemingly flew through the air. This wasn't the first droid-like floating blonde Braze had met. He wondered if this person was anything like his sister, Phy Phy . For a moment or two, he just stared at her as Gidgit seemed to hide from her sight, moving to nestle itself within the dark Jedi outer robe.

When she spoke, it was oddly chipper... Oh... Bloodscrawl? That was certainly a name he recognized. So this was... Nathan Bloodscrawl Nathan Bloodscrawl 's sister? It seemed he and Nathan had a few more things in common than he realized.

"Uh... hello. I didn't realize Nathan had a sibling..."

he offered, not having expected to see someone like her here. Braze didn't seem to mind the tiny droid burrowing into his tunic to hide.

Melissa shrugged.

"He's not the sort to talk too much about his private life. But he did speak of you and your accomplishments..." Melissa replied. "He respects you a great deal. My brother's respect is not easy to win. Nor is his trust."

Melissa's organic databases processed the facial damage and how he had it repaired as well as the tiny droid hiding in his dark robes.

"Cute Droid..." she remarked. "I was drawn to this place by strange scans on my vessel. I think they're Sith Ruins. Nathan doesn't take risks when he has discovered these in the past. He destroys them rather than risk some ancient horror escaping or unwary explorers finding them..." she added honestly, not wanting to deceive him about why she was here. "Of course, moral duty compels me to search the ruins first in case someone unprepared has indeed wandered in and escort them to safety. Is that why you're here? Or are you on some other goal?" She asked.

"I'd love to help. Nathan regards you as a friend. I look out for his friends when I am with them." she offered to Braze Braze
