Writing "good" characters for as long as I have.

I only ever wrote the villainous type before joining here, and honestly, I didn't think it would last due to unfamiliarity and interest. In the end, it turned out to be a great decision. Thanks to the people who I met over the years, be that through Darkwire or GA, they've helped create some awesome memories that helped my drive to continue writing these kinds of characters. I still have much to figure out, but that's another thing to keep me going.

One day, I may go back to my roots just to terrorize you all. Considering the amount of potential, I doubt I'll have any trouble doing so :p

My entire reason for creating Jannik Morlandt Jannik Morlandt in 2014 was because I wanted to use Hugh Dancy in Hannibal as a playby (Great show; I switched to Luke Evans some years later). And I decided to make him a seer, simply because I'd never written one before.

We all have our reasons, ne? ;)

So when I started writing Jannik, he was just some teenage quetarra player and lead signer for a band from the lower levels of Coruscant, who had a drinking problem because he was trying to dull/forget the terrifying 'nightmares' and 'daymares' (Force Visions) he'd have. Eventually this became such a problem that it landed him in the hospital, and he came to the attention of the Jedi.

Sometime thereafter Kira Talith Kira Talith took him on as a padawan and the rest, as they say, is history.

Jannik would not have such a rich background, story, and breadth of experience and knowledge, and wouldn't be the man he is without all that time she and I wrote together. He is, to this day, one of my fondest characters, one I keep coming back to and wanting to bring out to write, again and again.

And he still plays that Zabrak quetarra

God there have been so many! Currently though it's a tie between two:

1.) That moment during the Tython invasion where a piece of Ashla was being brought down on us, which spiraled into Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor doing one of the most epic launch from atop a ship to shatter it and gave Azzie the opportunity to save him as he fell back to planet. I was literally shaking while reading/writing all of that and it was such a curveball I hadn't expected at first!

2.) During the Hapan Crisis, when all hope felt lost and it seemed there was no way to help across multiple fronts, Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble and Shan Pavond Shan Pavond coming into it with this massive use the force to connect all the jedi and help turn the tides for the better, one that so many people played into across multiple different posts. It felt like I was watching a scene from a high budget film.

Quick honorable mention to Braze Kai'el Braze Kai'el and Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el for the field knighting that I did not see coming when I was first invited to participate in it and brought tears to my eyes. Was beautifully done as well!
