Yume wa Yoru Hiraku (Leori Sheltrak)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Sometimes there is no right way to do things and as Matsu sat there in the ship she had to admit to a few things. One she really had never spoken to this woman and two.... she missed Hanna, so doing something fun to take her mind off the pretty Hapen with a body all.... nevermind she just sat there in the co-pilots seat of the Bass Class Training Vessel with a small grin on her face. She was rather enjoying it and had forgotten how peaceful the lines of hyperspace could be. When they arrived on Zeltros to meet the married jedi master... to a former supreme chancellor no less.

Well she couldn't say no letting the crew operate around the ship. They would and could easily keep it going while she went to the Warden Combat Cloud Car with a small smile. Her twin Sirens behind the wheel and in the gunner seat more for protection leaving the backseat and passenger open for the two jedi to talk or have their time. The ship was armed but the weapons were not activated as Matsu sat in the ship taking a moment of her time to adjust her hat and hold it down. The wind picking up as they moved down the street and stopped in front of the house.

"Well Leori has certainly moved up in the galaxy." She hd only really known her from the jedi council not with her sitting on it but because she had not been with several from it looking to inquisition the jedi as a jedi. She didn't seem to like drama and infighting like so many others did as Matsu stepped out of the speeder and moved forward placing her hands in her pockets where the non lethal Palm Shot was for safety, not a weapon per say but she could get those sleeping darts off to save herself when needed. That was after all one of the reasons she had been training herself.

Then she was stepping up to the door and removing her hands from her coat, letting the slender hands knock while working on cheerful expression for her face. She wasn't here like a neighbor going'Can Leori come out and play' she was here to get Leori and go on an adventure somewhere fun in the galaxy or several somewheres she wasn't really that picky when it came to where they went or what they did. Let the force take them where they will and see it flourish with them, protect them and maybe just maybe she would be able to heal herself in all this.

The knock at the door meant that the vacation on Zeltros was over. It was time to get back to work. But, that didn’t mean it couldn’t be fun. However, time would tell on that one. As always, she had her overnight bag packed and by the door ready to leave at a moments notice. Today, she was expecting to leave.

Leori opened the door and bowed lightly to Matsu Ike. “Greetings. And welcome to Zeltros. Will you come in, or shall we set off straight away?” Her inquiry came with a slight head tilt as she waited for a response.

Matsu was taken a little at Leori, not like that more how she had come ready to go and then invited her in. It was calming and soothing to say the least and she thought about what she wanted to do and well staying here wasn't to bad. The two in the car weren't going to complain since they never spoke and she had time to enjoy herself. "Thank you Master Sheltrak." Matsu stepped to the threshold and waited a moment before entering taking the black hat off and smiling warmly while she looked up. Taking in the full sight of the jedi master and bowing her head flicking her eyes around to look at the home.

"You have a lovely home master Sheltrak." Matsu walked in and over towards the seats making certain her shoes were clean first before walking on the carpet. Her hands going to her front and sitting down while she breathed in the scent of home... Someone elses but that difference between quarters in a temple, quarters on a ship, a room in a hotel and here home where you are safe and sure of yourself. The jedi was looking around to take it all in and see how one could truly live after leaving the jedi order and making a life for themselves.

Leori was pleased that Matsu would come in. She hadn’t had anyone visit her at her new home on Zeltros. Now that she actually had a home that wasn’t a Temple, it was nice to have people there.

She showed the padawan in to the sitting area and offered her a seat. “Would you like a drink?”

If so, she would retrieve a pot of tea and put it on the table before sitting opposite her. If not, she would take a seat opposite Matsu.

“Thank you, but I cannot take credit for it. Jack has resided here much longer than I have, and the house was almost this way when I got here.”

She could see that and sitting there with a smile on her face as she took the offered tea Matsu nodded her head. "Well I am glad to see there is a great taste in decor, I have been trying to make mine and Hanna's home something of a sight but I am not... good as it were with having credits for things. I suppose now that I am being taken care of by a sugar momma of Hapen royalty I have some good times ahead." Matsu was smiling to that idea and thinking about the place being built on Shri-tal as they went about doing everything they enjoyed and preferring to not get tied to the politics.

That brought Matsu's attentions around to the woman and she looked at the jedi master more and more. "But I can admit to being selfish I have come to see and realized that my problems of the past and mistakes I have made were interesting but they led me to this time, this moment. All my mistakes to relearn and build a stranger foundation with you all, with the jedi of the Silver order and in some cases with the jedi of other orders. At least the ones who are not involving themselves in the councils politics." She also had another reason, that... "And that in traveling with you I might be able to for Hanna heal some of my body and soul."

Leori had to laugh. A Sugar Momma. That was not a term that she often heard, that much was certain. “I suppose it doesn’t disappoint to have nice things to come home to. Though before this was my home, you wouldn’t know where I lived from any other set of quarters in the Temple. I had nothing to personalize them with anyway.”

The Jedi Master nodded in agreement. “Yes, all of your choices have led to this time and place. The past is in the past. You can only learn from it now.” She sipped her tea and set it down. “I do hope that I can be of assistance on this trip, yes.”

Oh she was more the certain a master healer would be able to help. They weren't going into a war they were traveling and simply searching perhaps looking inward towards something else that might be greater. Matsu wasn't going to just rush into everything she was going to search things out. "That is the hope, there are many places a person can go in the galaxy and just enjoy themselves. Worlds few have really focused on and that have been neglected. If you are packed the Harlequin is ready to go. There is a room made up for you and I found some name day crystals from the circle of healers."

Leori nodded. “Let us be on our way then.” She stood and tidied up the tray before heading to the door and picking up her travel pack. With a smile, she gestured to Matsu to lead the way to the Harlequin. “Will you tell me more of the crystals you found?” The Jedi Master inquired as they made their way to the Harlequin.

She thought of Rianna as she listened about the crystals. Her friend had sought them for a time. It was never a priority of hers, but that didn’t matter. Leori was always up for a new challenge.

The crystals.... how to explain them well actually that was easy. "The crystals are from a padawan name day celebration. They are lesser healing crystals the jedi can use and help calm and channel energies for the padawan. I also have a shard of the healing crystal of fire from the CIS, it makes things interesting." She led the way to the vehicle as the twin mute sirens stood guard and Matsu let Leori climb in before heading off towards the landing area while she spoke. "There are many crystals I found and in some places of the galaxy there are lots more. We can go to some of these places where the force runs strong."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

“Absolutely we can. I’m happy to help in whatever way I can.” Leori said with a smile. “Do you have much experience with healing crystals? It’s actually not one of my specialties, so I don’t use them often at all.”

Rianna was definitely the expert when it came to crystals and their healing properties. She missed her friend. “Have you ever worked with Rianna Organa Ordo? She’s definitely an expert when it comes to crystals.” Unfortunately though, she was unavailable in the Mandalorian’s space.

“Where would you like to go first?” Leori inquired.

"I have and Rianna's knowledge of crystals exceeds even mine in their uses as does her healing itself. I have just spent many research hours on their study and come away with preferred selected ones. Such as my solari and pontite crystals." She had a small smile while thinking of where they could go and a few places came to mind, she wanted to make it fun but this wasn't going to be a dark dangerous adventure. This was going to be something that could heal the two of them while she spoke. "The Valley of the jedi, there is beauty there I was hoping your skills with healing would be able to work on my broken body. It seems like the force is the only thing that keeps me going at times."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Leori nodded in agreement. “Then you have spent more hours researching than I have. My skills began with Force healing, and I had medical training as a Nurse on Ossus.” Well, that seemed like a long time before when she thought about it. And she commented to that effect. “It seems so long ago now.” The Jedi Master smiled a little. “That would be lovely. I’d rather know what we’re getting into than walk into a potentially dangerous and dark situation. I’m getting too old for that.” Then, she grinned. Leori really wasn’t that old, but compared to the younger generation of masters, she would seem ancient.

Matsu had to agree with that and coming up onto the landing pad that had the Harlequin on it she could see the cargo bay doors opened and Matsu brought it up with a small smirk on her face. The jedi stood there as she got out and looked towards Leori with a small tilt of her head. "Well we shall be facing things but not everything has to be dangerous, your room is this way." With a look at her Matsu started walking and went towards the crew quarters with a smile to the ones passing. "We will be departing soon, these quarters are set up for whatever you need and I am just down the corridor. If I am not there I'll most likely be int he medical bay for what healing treatments I can get."

Leori exited the transport after Matsu and followed her to the ship. She showed her the way to her quarters and quickly oriented her to locations that Matsu could be found at during their journey.

“I will join you in the medical bay when the ship reaches hyperspace, and we’ll see what can be done to relieve you of your ailments.” The Jedi Master offered a smile then entered her quarters to toss her travel bag and settle in as the ship made its journey to hyperspace.

Matsu bowed to that and left to make sure they were on their way and that she had all of her stuff, changing cloths to something lighter and travel worthy while she spoke to her pilot. "Are we looking well?" The old man, a mandalorian gave a nod of his head to her and they were heading up into the skyline following a few other ships before she was looking towards the moon and hologram fun world, then past it to the distance needed to jump to hyperspace. Matsu patted his shoulder when they jumped and she walked to the medical bay seeing her doctors... well the vong was there and working while her assistant gazed.

"Hello you two." The young Vanr turned to look at her and while she wore little it was her species and getting good clothing that allowed for wings and could be removed with claws wasn't that easy to find. The vong on the other hand enjoyed her work in the lab and had stayed because... she wanted to study the crew on the ship... Not the best reason but there could be worse after all while Matsu stood there and stripped down getting a gown on that the majority of her body could be seen and only the important bits that were mostly not tattooed albeit pierced and not as wounded.

The masses of tattoo's to cover the scars where her muscles were just wrecked needing in some places the force to move at nearly all times, the saber, blade and blaster wounds from rubbing others the wrong way and not turning away from a fight when it presented itself. No Matsu was looking at it all and in the mirror straightened her hair pulling the long ankle length of black into a tight ponytail that showed where she had been sliced across her head itself. The vong came over and stuck the depressor as Matsu had her mouth opened and sat on the table. "Ahhh" Then she was laying down while the teenager slowly applied bacta patches.

The Jedi Master dropped her bag at the door and moved over to the bed. She had a little time, and so she sat down and crossed her legs. It was a good opportunity to clear her mind and prepare herself for the challenge ahead. Leori was confident in her ability to heal whatever ailment came her way, but like everything, that took time and effort, which meant that she could use all the energy that she could get.

When the ship shuddered into hyperspace, Leori opened her eyes and hopped off of the bed. A hop, skip and a jump later, she was in the medical bay, where Matsu was covered in a surgical gown and she had company.

“I hope I’m not interrupting,” she announced as she entered and moved closer to the trio. “I’m going to see what I can do, carry on, I won’t be in the way.”

Matsu looked over at Leori as she laid there with the bacta patches on her skin. She laid there shaking her head for a moment while the Vanr stood off to the side. "No not at all I am just relaxing. Might not be all the time but the healing juices are soothing and help me relax." That was true and just laying there now while she stretched out to make sure all of her muscles were coated in the soothing, healing juice. It was a time touch. "I thank you for this, as much as I do not mind my body showing all it has went through it does not feel good when I can barely lift my own arm without the force." She just waited for Leori to begin and brushed her hair out of the way. "I don't have any allergies and all the damage is from disuse of the muscles."

Leori took a seat, and started by releasing a calming energy into the room to promote healing and relaxation to all in the room. She closed her eyes and began to examine Matsu’s injuries and systems through the Force. There was much work to do. She would begin at the neck and work downward. She moved her hands to the sides of Matsu’s neck and directed her healing energies into Matsu, speeding her own healing metabolism to aid her efforts. After all, it was easier if she worked with Matsu’s cells rather than against them. And so she began. It would be about eight hours before Leori would need to recharge and meditate… but in that time, she could do wonders for the woman.

Matsu laid there and let the force energies flow into her, relaxing more as she yipped a little under her breath. She had released her force body that level and degree of control she used to not feel pain throughout her muscles and with crucitorn a technique that allowed her to control her pain through out of body. She felt the weakness of her muscles and where each nerve screamed like a nail into her skull with pain. She didn't like this feeling and had hated it when she was severed from the force, her anger though giving way to simply being and infinite rage falling aside along with infinite despair that could crush a person.

She was looking at the woman whos hands were soothing, her healing energies pulsed along the length of her tattooed and scarred body. It gave Matsu a feeling like a soothing balm or those hand movements a mother/lover could make. Just comfort nothing more it was warm, it was home, it was safe and she fluttered her eyes allowing the hours to tick by. Their travel time and Leori's work with the force being pushed as Matsu laid there for several hours. She knew her body would get better, compared to many Leori was a master healer... well Rianna was skilled as well and there was a time but ones like Ijet and Murr wouldn't touch her.

It was no matter, it only pushed her further and faster. Made her more focused while she laid there and thought back more on all the things that had led her to this point and she regretted none of it. Maybe not being able to complete everything she wished to do, not being able to serve the light as much as possible but she preferred being a jedi and seeking knowledge then rushing off into battle. Sure she could fight, she knew how to fight and could protect the people but she preferred, she loved just spending the day in the library with her daughters or a day with Hanna and allowing the beauty of Coruscant and Hapes seep in.

After eight hours, Leori opened her eyes and steadied herself before standing up. It was time to meditate, and eat something. Softly she announced. “I will return in about six hours to continue. Eat something, and Rest if you can.” She knew that was difficult considering she’d already been laying there for eight hours. But, it might be painful still to move with her work incomplete.

She returned to her quarters and laid on the bed. Her exhaustion was not physical, but it was nice to be comfortable when meditating.
