Approved Tech Yusan's personal umbra armor

Intent: The plan for this suit is to basically provide Yusan Fenn with a suit that would better protect him in battle and for use on more covert missions due to its dark color and combination of light alloys. With that in mind the metals and fiber mixtures used in the creation of the armor were selected for encumberance load and for flexibility as well as durability. The added intent for the creation of this armor was to give Yusan a signature armor and to give him something to shroud him from public knowledge when partaking in assassinations of individuals in a Story arc that i am having him join. That and Yusan's last armor just got wrecked because of Two Sith masters on Coruscant, thanks guys.

Development Thread: While there is no current Dev thread, i plan to do one in the future to upgrade the armor further.




Manufacturer: A combination of Subbach-Innes(Corsair connections), Blas-Tech, James Armor Co, and solo construction. The companies mentioned were selected through Yusan's contact with the Corsair Brotherhood.​

Material:

Matrix Armor Metal bands used for the main body vest and Matrix armor plates lining the gloves, boots, legs, and helmet.

REinforce fiber armor for the fabric vest and lower robes to allow for flexible armor that could disperse energy.

A back up envirosuit under the armor itself to allow for Yusan to travel to otherwise dangerous worlds without having to forgo use of his armor.


Description: The main strengths of this is that it is Energy resistant, mostly though a saber or high powered snipe will pass right through it. It is flexible due to the metals and semi durable, but a powerful force hitting it such as the shockwave from a nearby powerful explosion or that of a power force user can bypass this durablility and damage it. Lastly the materials are light and are easy to aquire. Thus making the construction of this armor relatively cheap for the amount of resourses at Yusans disposal.

Other than the weaknesses included above the suit's enviromental functionis near useless if punctured, the mask allows for the use of sight adaptors but limits Yusan's field of vision. Further more several weaknesses such as too much energy impacting the resist metal and fibers too often will make the armor near useless.
