History:
Zhin was born into a respected family who served their city well. So he had to do as his parents and continue to uphold the family names pride. Starting by going to school, making good grades, and training. At first, he trained to be an officer of law. But one day a lady in robes changed his future by coming to his home to try and get him to become a Jedi. He didn't know exactly what a Jedi was but his parents didn't think an opportunity like this should be passed up. After a night of thinking about it he went with the woman saying goodbye to his family.
The Jedi were unknown to Zhin, he honestly had no idea who these people were. He trusted his parents though and this lady helped him understand everything. Not only that she became his master eventually as well. They would go on missions like any other master-apprentice for training. There was easy ones and dangerous ones too. Zhin always appeared to be up for the challenges.
When he was nearing his late teen years Zhin met a girl who he fought with as a Jedi. He began to have feelings for her soon after. One night during a mission he asked her to marry him and she said yes. It was sudden but he really cared about her. The next morning after they got back from their mission every Jedi at the temple woke up to screaming and the scent of fire. Many Jedi were slaughtered that day as Zhin watched. He knew defending the temple was useless and decided to act. It was time to escape. Zhin called for his master as she came running over to him explaining where she was. He asked where his friend was and she didn't know. Panicking he began to run looking everywhere. In the end he did find her, right as a red blade impaled her. This sight would be a haunting one since this wasn't just a war buddy dying, it was the one person he would be with even if the whole world turned against her. Zhin launched towards the man and impaled him in an instant. Luckily he was a beginner like himself. He held the girl in his arms as he teared up stroking her hair. Standing up, Zhin carried her to where everyone met up who was left. His master was saddened by the sight. After that he took her saber and left.
A couple years later, Zhin went back to his old city to get a job. He found one at a cantina where he worked as a bartender. This life was much more easier with the occasional bar fights and smell of booze in the air, it was his refuge. Here, he made new friends and lived a pretty laid back life. It was a nice change for him. The past left his mind in this new little world as a bartender, but he didn't just forget.
Zhin ran into some trouble not too long after snagging the bartending position at the local cantina. Some things happened here and there, those "things" being a beatdown from a sith. A familiar woman helped him out during this time, someone he'd know a fair share about. After everything settled down they parted ways. Zhin left the bartending business for awhile. A sith had made him look like a rag doll... something that he'd hated more than anything else in the galaxy had defeated him. It angered Zhin and he wouldn't accept total defeat ever again from those kinds of people. He decided to continue his training that was left unfinished years ago.
This little quest he had started brought him to Veradune. Zhin had no idea that this place was actually his species's planet, nor did he know that he was a Zorren. No one had ever told him he was different. When he went to Veradune this is when he first found out about it. A man called Mr Kar was also on the planet at the time for reasons he wouldn't say... but he helped Zhin find what he was looking for. The man was also of the Zorren species but unlike Zhin, he knew everything about his people. Mr Kar offered training to him, after seeing that they were both similar in many ways.
For a year he underwent intense training as Mr Kar's teachings were very tough. Zhin expanded on his force abilities and blade skills over the year thanks to it though, and at the end of it he went through the Zorren Trial. Zhin struggled with this part more than any other one in his life. Completing the trial was vital to his survival in the future so he did everything in his power to get through it. The odds appeared to be in his favor because he made it to the end without dying. Zhin was kinda shocked when the changes took place but he got used to them eventually.
Mr Kar left Veradune before Zhin even finished the trial. He assumed that meant his training was complete for now...
Zhin went back to bartending, ironically while still continuing to train on his own so he could stay strong and grow in power. He returned to the life that he was living a year ago but he was a little more cautious around customers this time. That's where he spent the next two years - a little cantina on Nar Shaddaa. He got comfortable again but lived in caution, to ensure his life wouldn't ever be taken so easily. No, the fallen jedi Zhin wanted to live even if he had no purpose. That's just who he was... a man without a purpose or deservance to live, and so he lived.
