STRENGTHS
  • Interplanetary Industry: With the Galactic Alliance's massive efforts to restore the worlds ravaged by war, a bottleneck was found in the process of relief and restoration. Manufactured components would be required to be shipped from the factory, to the planet in need. The solution? Bring the factory to the planet. Zoro Laha's main dome is a hyper-efficient manufacturing plant, designed to make anything needed out of raw materials brought up from recycling the damaged world's resources. Simply rebuild a city from the ruins of it's former self.
  • Terraforma: Built around the main dome, up to eight attachment domes are built. Each serves a purpose in restoring a world to it's original state. Each dome can be detached, and retrofitted to a world's needs. Designed to act as a micro-biome, each dome is capable of recreating affected world's original biomes, which then can be studied, and restored on the planet below.
  • Recycle, Rebuild, Renew: Attached to each station are a series of orbital drydocks designed to act as a place for ships affected by war to land, be repaired, and enjoy the habitation domes while their ships are rebuilt. Large enough to accommodate even the largest of the GADFs ships, the stations are designed to provide a behind the lines repair service for sector fleets during wartime.
  • Built to Last: The Zoro Lahas are designed to act as a free-floating defense platform if need be. With how many enemies the Alliance has, the designers of the station fully expected the stations to be attacked at some point. As such, they are fitted with a near absurd amount of point defense weaponry, and use their shields to withstand even capital ship bombardment.
  • The Flow of the Force: Built inside the center mast of the station, a massive Force Crystal is hand grown by Jedi to act as the 'heart' of the station. Designed to imbue the terrariums with higher growth rates, the ocean domes with enhanced biodiversity, and allow Light Side users within the station an enhanced connection to the biodomes, allowing for the use of Force Abilities to assist in research and regrowth.
WEAKNESSES
  • Stuck In Orbit: As the Zoro Laha has no hyperdrives, they are required to be towed into place by other ships. Thus, once in place, outside of adjusting it's orbit, the stations lack any real ability to move.
  • Lighthouse: The Force Crystal inside of the station is a double edged sword. While it acts as a beacon for Light Side Users, it also makes the station a very 'loud' station to anyone sensitive in the Force. Dark Side Users will sense this thing across a system.
  • No Pew Pew: While an amazingly defended platform, the Zoro Lahas have no actual way of firing back on larger ships. They require a fleet escort to be defended.
DESCRIPTION
The Galactic Alliance's efforts to restore worlds has acted as a massive boost of morale for the GA as a whole, but it hit a snag with the reconstruction of the Core Worlds. A bottleneck in logistics was found, in that the GA could produce as much material as was needed, but getting it to the planets in need was often a struggle. Between increasing Underworld activity, Imperial remnants attacking GA shipping, and the cosmic shifting of the galaxy at large, hyperlanes became more and more unstable, and unreliable.

As such, inspired by Pazarro Krimenon III Pazarro Krimenon III and The B.L.I.S.S., Si Tech invested in massive foundry stations, designed to be towed by the Alliance's heavy superfreighters, and put in orbit above worlds in need.

The result, was Zoro Laha. The Rocks of Infinity, named after the Cathar word for satellites. Built as a hyper-efficient, modular system, domes built around a foundry dome were designed to recreate worlds on a micro scale, so they could be rebuilt on a macro scale. Terrain features, habitats, entire oceans rebuilt through a fusion of Alliance Technology, and Jedi Imbuement.
