Zoya Versus Viktor

[Darth Ferus]

The second match, between [member="Zoya"] and [member="Viktor Noali"] , would occur after the first match was finished. They would find themselves in the simple dueling ring that was the Assassins, with fresh marks, blood, and the like from the first match still fresh. Ferus, with both arms crossed over his chest, would call out.

"You both are here, you both are ready. Begin!"

Zoya gave a predatory grin as she faced her opponent.
"I promise not to eat you, prey."
With a grunt of discomfort, the Rapax's back exploded as her telum shot out, the red appendages taking a wing-like shape as they fluttered with motion, and Zoya cracked her neck.
It appeared her opponent was a melee guy, and that meant she would have to go in.

After giving her prey a moment to prepare, Zoya opened the duel by releasing a barrage of natural projectiles from her telum. They wouldn't kill him, but put him off-balance.

Prey? Us, prey? She must not know who he is. I'm fairly certain the predatory grin look is his. She does it better, and that's hard for me to admit. She looks like she really wants to eat him. She is a... most interesting creature... There is no way she does it better. Viktor, grin at her! It won't matter, she'll still do it better.

Viktor grinned. That doesn't feel right. He began to cough awkwardly, quickly covering his mouth with his hand. Keeping his mouth covered for a moment Viktor studied his opponents face. practiced a few quick grins to himself until he felt confident. Lowering his hand he revealed his own predatory grin. He wasn't able to hold it but for a few moments before he started laughing.

Consumed in his laughter Viktor hardly noticed when Zoya's telum shot out of her back. To be honest, he hardly noticed when her, feathers, began to fly straight at him.

Hey, will you pay attention! Oh my....

After a flick of his wrist his lightsaber was in his hands, puling it to his hands from his belt with the Force. With a flick of the switch he ignited the blade to a thunderous snap followed by a continual hiss and an occasional pop. He moved immediately to his left while swinging his lightsaber in defense of the oncoming projectiles. As they struck the crimon blade it visibly fluctuated, its intensity clearly shifting. Coming to a stop Viktor raised his hand to his face and pulled away fresh blood. He had managed to avoid any serious damage but a fresh cut was evident on his cheek. Viktor laughed again.

"You're right! She does do it better." Viktor conceded. As quickly as his laughing had begun it stopped.

She was really not impressed with your grin. Evidently so... Well, you can't say you didn't try. You still have the stone face down. You've got her beat there.

With the sound of thunder tendrils of electricity danced the crimson blade of Viktor's lightsaber momentarily before disappearing as quickly as it had struck. They're right. I do have the stone face down. Viktor tensed the muscles of his face and sent a deathly stare to his opponent. "My turn."

Holding his lightsaber in front of him in anticipation for any more projectiles Viktor began to charge at his opponent. He figured when he was about half way there he would extend his free hand and attempt to Force push her legs out from beneath her. Even though telekinesis came easily to Viktor he was still new in its application in combat. Without proper time to focus he doubted he'd be able to bend the Force strong enough to knock his opponent over but it would definitely be enough to surprise her. When he got in close enough was when the fun would begin. His lightsaber was merely for show. He meant to make this creature work for her supper. His plan to lead with a powerful swing of his lightsaber, only to deactivate the blade and use the momentum to launch into a spinning roundhouse.

Seem's like a solid idea. I just want to see some blood aleady! Aside from ours....
