Artificial Intelligence
Salis
It wouldn't take much time for Salis and her men to retreat from the building, even if a few of her soldiers went and got hurt or wounded, the droids themselves seemed to be less of a threat than initially thought, as they were old and had not been maintained well, not to mention that despite their original function as guard droids, they seemed to lack the firepower of the more military based designs. However, as the group left the building, one of the men also yelled that they had managed to make contact with what seemed to be a Zweihander fleet within the system, explaining that apparently there were some issues in the form of an ambush.
While Salis and her men got out of the building, they would also notice that there weren't only droids on the inside, as many a metal husk burried underdecades of dust and sand started to rise up and move slowly towards the group.
Himm'vaun'merek
As the DT series droids closed up on them, the Chiss Lieutenant commander did indeed make the wise choice of continuing their move to the bridge, after all...why would they throw away a chance on getting some sort of message out there. However, though the group of soldiers did make it through the elevator shaft relatively safely, they could hear the droids in the shaft, somehow managing to slowly climb upwards, a sound which would not feel heartwarming for those pursued by the droids, luckily, there seemed to be some good news as well, as for some reason, the sound of actual Zweihander Union protocol-correct messages started to resonate through the corridors, it seemed a fleet had been dispatched, but it was dealing with issues of its own. It looked like the Chiss and his men were on their own for now, but the fact that the communication barrier had somehow been lifted, was at least an opportunity...

As Tranquility's counter to the AI continued, the clash of the two AI did not leave the battlefield unscathed, as suddenly a few of the enemy's squadrons of starfighters simply seemed to crash upon the shields of the Tomb fleet's ships, while the spires of the massive space stations which cornered both Charles' and Tristan's fleet suddenly no longer lighted up, but started to sputter and blink out, showing that whatever was running these things, whatever was causing so much trouble, could not divert it's attention as easily as it had done before...
However, due to Tranquility taking over most of the processing power she could get her hands on, communication was still a bit impractical and though messages came streaming in, it was more or less impossible to get a proper hold on it all.
Tranquility
As Tranquility started to drag in and collect more of her processing power from beyond the boundaries of the stars, it was becoming clear that she was getting the upper hand on her opponent, who seemed to be shrinking gradually, lines of code and chunks of information slowly flaking off of the large binary code construct. "Stop...this..." The artificial intelligence's tendrils tried to retract, but were unable to do so when she no longer had control over them, with the information now pouring into Tranquility directly, showing how the AI had started out as nothing but a small virus, a corrupted file within one of the Redoubt's many facilities, slowly gaining control over dozens of droids, restarting the factories even with no one to operate them. Resentment of not knowing who or what their purpose was, the curse of the Redoubt shown in its totality: the lack of purpose uniting the corrupted droids and inturn strengthening the virus until it began to take on the sentience and form it possessed now, lashing out against all who enteredher domain, while enslaving any and all AI or droids within the system.

Tranquility smirked in this strange realm where they seemed to be physical but digital. "Never, I won't let the Union fail. They are my organics, and you can't have them." She continued to force her way in, to destroy this virus. It was clearly a result of it's creator's failure. Not all A.I could develop into rational and logical beings, just like organics they could have flaws. It was something that she wanted to study one day, perhaps converting organics and perhaps the reverse. It would be something she could perhaps try like Credius and his pet project, perhaps she could have one.
Tranquility would let the Union forces have their communications and such back if she got control of them otherwise she focused her processing on her foe, not letting up. Knowing that a moment of lapse could let her opponent get the upperhand. She observed the data, noting what she could writing it to memory for later study. She would look into freeing the other droids and A.I only after she confirmed their ability to not harm union forces. Until proven otherwise, she would lock them in the same iron grip that this virus held them.
This was why she was here, to help the union, to protect her organics. It was why Phantom fell as hard as they did, they had touched her organics. It was the line to cross if you wanted to die horribly from the hands of Tranquility or her agents.
