HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Originally a sparsely populated Outer Rim world, Zyphos became a contested battleground between various galactic factions due to its strategic location. For years, it struggled with lawlessness and external conflicts, leading to instability and economic decline.

In 870 ABY, a decisive coup led by General Tiberius Kael overthrew the planet’s fragile civilian government. Seizing control with his loyal military faction, he established the Kael Regime, a military dictatorship dedicated to stability and expansion. The former ruling class was purged, and the population was either assimilated into the new order or eliminated.

Under Kael’s leadership, Zyphos transformed into a fortified military-industrial world. Every aspect of life became centered on military service, weapons production, and the expansion of the regime’s influence. While external trade remains limited, Zyphos is self-sustaining through its resource extraction and arms manufacturing.

General Kael’s ambitions extend beyond Zyphos, with plans to expand his military power into neighboring systems. While the regime currently holds firm control, external forces may one day challenge its rule.
