Apocalypse Now (DM story)

I've seen horrors... horrors that you've seen. But you have no right to call me a murderer. You have a right to kill me. You have a right to do that but you have no right to judge me. It's impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what horror means. Horror... Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies!
You have to have men who are moral and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to kill without feeling... without passion... without judgment... without judgment!
Because it's judgment that defeats us.

The Omega
Continued from Heart of Darkness

"Charge the Omega fully. Let us allow her to sing."

"Yes Lady."

"Our soldiers are coming up from the surface of Castameer. There are several shuttles from the Citadel and the Strip mines, as well as two from the Academy."

Kith Verloren turned icy eyes on the sensors officer.

"Our soldiers?"

He nodded, indicating the screen in front of him. "Things must be going poorly. They are coming up on official-"

She cut him off, her voice sharp.

"These ships do not contain our allies. Send forces to meet them."

"But-"

Kith didn't lash out. She simply turned toward him. One hand flicked upward, a deceptively casual, constrained gesture. Then, slowly, she brought the hand down, as though indicating that she required quieter circumstances. She did, but his voice was not the sound that grated now. A strange look moved over the sensor officer's face. He gasped, eyes widening. One hand reached up, scrabbling at his chest.

The rest of the control room was silent, but for the gasping and struggling of the officer.

"Send. Forces. To. Meet. Them. If they are ours, no harm. And it they are not. Well...."

The comm officer beside his counterpart nodded, eyes wide, and turned to comply with the order. Kith stepped forward, looking down at the first officer as he struggled to catch his breath.

But there would be none of that. After all, there was no way to continue that necessary fact of life, breathing, when ones heart had ceased beating.

As the man died, slipping out of his chair, Kith turned away.

Death itself, after all, was intensely uninteresting.

Each group from the ground, The Citadel, The Strip Mines, The Academy, were each headed to a different hangar. Troops would arrive, waiting for them, each group made up largely of Storm Troopers, but supported by several Sith. They would have to fight their way out of the hangars before having access to the rest of the ship.

Every step of their way from here would be heavily contested. The Omega itself was enormous. Which way would they all go?

On the surface, at the Pollux Air Base, others were coming. There was still pitched fighting happening on the ground there. Blaster bolts and crimson lightsabers to block their passage up to the Omega. They could reach the ships that would bring them to the Super Weapon, but they would have to fight their way to them.

With the Omega charging,
it was only a matter of time before the full, destructive power of the weapon was unleashed.
Would they be able to stop it before it fired?
Or would they all have the chance to witness

They had reached the hangar. It was time. Vustia was upset that she had to leave before a response but it was now or never. She went to the ships door and turned her head towards everybody else inside

"Are you ready guys?"

"It's time to live or die"

It was Vustia's moment to show she was more than a irrelevant little apprentice. She could show how powerful she really was.
She didn't know why, but the force seemed to call out to her to save these people.

Undin took cover behind a small barricade as blaster bolts could be seen passing by him. He breathed quickly in and out, trying to calm himself down. He wondered why he'd signed up for this mission, was it to show off, or did he really just want to protect those he loved? That mattered not right now.

As he un-hooked his lightsaber from his belt and with a turn of a switch, the aquamarine blade came to live. The blade surpassed the barricade, and was probably seen by the enemies, but he just wanted to have this over quickly.

The boy got up and started running towards the next barricade, trying to reach one of the ships, end these battles. End the suffering.

Cole chuckled to Arla on the way up the lift.

"Well maybe not but you did encourage me to up my game." "Can't be shown up by a woman..............no matter how beautiful and deadly she may be."

Cole winked at her shaking his head.

"My boot is either the only thing holding down the swelling or the bones in place." "Best leave it for now......hurts like a mother ether but i can manage."

He turned slightly towards her the shoulder with a whole in it.

"Luckily some wounds cauterize themselves." "Movement is shot....good thing I shoot with my other hand."

Cole started checking ammo and gear as the shuttle began to slow reaching their destination. When the doors did finally open Cole cursed duckign back away from the entrance.

"So much for the element of surprise..............cover me."

Cole grabbed his pistol and darted back towards the opening firing at the closest Troopers to him and towards the first thing he could duck behind. This day just got longer and much more difficult. In probably the stupidest thing ever Cole yelled out to the enemy.

"Surrender now and I won't have to kill you all."

The cramped shuttle bumped through space, the ever looming presence of Omega was terrifying yet exciting, would this be their chance to finally destroy an age old enemy, or will Castameer be destroyed? As the shuttle approached the hanger, Xiarr could sense numerous amounts of emotions coming from everyone in the shuttle, mostly the feeling of uneasiness and fear. The shuttle shook as it would begin to enter the hanger, Xiarr put his hand on his lightsaber as the shuttle landed. When it finally landed, he sensed the presence of multiple darksiders. The landing ramp went down, and Xiarr saw what awaited them, stormtroopers and acolytes, great. Xiarr activated his saber, keeping it close to his body as he prepared to deflect numerous waves of blaster bolts.

The hanger was large and there was enemies there, soldiers, sith everything as the jedi master prepared herself. The ship taking her up tot he massive weapon was nice what was even more was as she held the disc saber in her hands and moved forward. Pushing the force energies throughout her body before she released the blade into the stormtroopers legs letting it disconnect and then blades extended to the duel length making massive slices at the gaps. She was staying with it, focusing the force energies to guide it while she was moving and using her lightsaber to block and defend against them. She caught her blade when it came back reconnecting into a z shaped blade and she could feel the crystal within it. Her focus on making a path she could use to get through and into the main facility.

She who fights monsters should see to it that she herself does not become a monster. Elpsis was the spawn of a monster. A demonic Sith Lord had done terrible things to her mother, and she was the result. The girl had failed as a Jedi Initiate and fallen into the demon's clutches. She'd been scarred, tortured and ended up on the streets, succumbing to a criminal life style to survive. She'd lost her way, but eventually she'd found her calling.

The little girl was done with running, done with being helpless and afraid. Now she was en route to the Omega. If someone had told her she'd be trying to storm the world-destroying superweapon of a vile Sith cult to embark on a mission of purgation, she would have called them mad. Perhaps the Force had a twisted sense of humour.

The shuttle had broken through Castamere's atmopshere, leaving that world's blood-stained killing fields behind it. Now it was en route to the mighty Omega. Elpsis sat in the pilot's seat, hunched, injured, somewhat energised by stims. Her lips were bruished, she was missing a finger. Her inner flame was ignited, spreading across her body like a wild fire.

The fathomless void of space was dotted with too many battleships for the naked eye to count. Certainly far more than the young redhead could. Debris floated through space, the detritus of the epic battle that raged across the void. Ravenous warships prowled space and fell upon their targets, beams of turbolaserfire slashed through the darkness, causing brilliant explosions.

The shuttle weaved a path through the darkness, as Elpsis saw an opening in the grand melee. Ahead of them was a hangar bay. The transport craft dove through vicious counterfire. Elpsis could not tell whether it was directed at them or any of the innumerable warships and fighter craft. All she knew was that she needed to keep pushing the shuttle's engines.

"Great White Wolf, if you're listening...please watch over us and keep us from dying," she whispered quietly. Not the most inspiring or original prayer, certainly not a poetic one, but it would have to do. Maybe Daddy was watching from hell. If yes, she hoped that a particularly vicious demon was torturing the monster.

The shuttle screamed through the hangar's shielding and she slammed the craft onto the deck, throwing sparks across the bay as it slid across the ground. The hangar erupted in violence. The shuttle's simple blaster cannon spat out crimson bolts of death. However, a red light beeped alarmingly on the console, indicating that structural integrity was compromised.

Undeterred by the hail of blaster fire, Elpsis pushed the shuttle onward until it crashed into a couple stormtroopers, crushing them beneath it. The girl got up, and sprinted to the opening the hatch. The landing ramp lowered and her boots finally touched down upon Omega. Blaster fire came shooting their way, Sith warriors in robes of black, with dark, malevolent auras and enchanted weapons bore down upon them. Eyes ablaze, fire burst from her hands.

Damien strode into the hangar, having been of little use before arrival (his writer having forgotten this thread line all for the PvP >_<), he planned otherwise now. The ground had been a jumble of confusion, all flooding his mind with pain and thoughts of aggression, pure darkside attempting to fuel the decisions of the now neutral Lord Daemos - no, Damien thought, I am not Daemos anymore. I am jot Misao, Pikiran - no, I am simply me. Damien Daemon, Master craftsman, mentalist, and Mandalorian. With this in mind, he blocked himself from the flood of raw darkside energies as he descended from the shuttle ramp.

Immediately shots rang free from the squadrons of Troopers as they saw a silver bladed lightsaber activate in Damien's hand. Swirling, spinning, flipping of the blade bashed, blocked, and knocked back at the shots as they came his way. Long prior, before even finding he was Force sensitive, Damien had mastered several styles of swordplay. Slowly he was pushing himself back into it, mostly thanks to his recent trips to learn of the ways to make artificial lungs. His body was again becoming what it had once been, incredibly useful to his mind, where his power was truest.

Step after step Damien descended the ramp, movement bringing him closer to those shooting at him, in doing so bringing about their frames being a larger target. More and more fell, but as time moved on, he found each fallen being replaced. He was but one, facing an army of rogue Sith and their chosen. It did not deter him though: he was sure of his power, of that of his Force Walking to back him.

Doc did a final fiction check on his weapons and gear before yelling "Locked and Loaded!" his grip tightened on his riffle, and he could the a mix of rage, and anticipation he prepared for was to sure be a long and bloody fight, This was the first time the new medic armor had truly been tested and so far he met expectations, though the increased from the additional systems and his medical backpack made slower and his he fatigued more quickly than he usually did, but it could save lives and that was his function as a medic.

Khan Ra

Monster Cat Redefined
Location: Pollux Air Base
Objective: Get to the Omega

Khan stood behind cover down at the Pollux Base as stormtroopers did their best to defend the ships there. Khan had arrived quite late to the battles. Word had spread quickly of the Omega. An order of Sith, a powerful superweapon that they essentially intended to destroy the galaxy with. There were several reasons to fight them. First and foremost was the fact that an Order of at least somewhat powerful Sith would likely have something of use to him. An archives, holocrons- if an Order of Sith had been inhabiting this station, they must have something that Khan could use on board. So Khan had made his way to this planet. There were of course plenty of others there, armies and fleets both trying to defeat the Omega itself and squabble with each other. Khan was far more interested in getting inside the Omega itself, however.

Khan had tried to steer his little shuttle towards the hangars of the Omega at first. He would board it, then search through it for anything relevant. However, he soon realized that that was frankly impossible in his little shuttle he had arrived in. The closer he got to the Omega, the more likely he was to be caught in the crossfire and ripped apart. His shuttle didn't have the armor or the shielding to get close enough to the Omega to board it. However, there was an Omega controlled spaceport filled with more heavily armed and armored ships on the planet surface below, he thought it would be fairly easy to take one of those and make his way up into the Omega. So he had headed to the surface of Castameer.

And now he was here. Khan had underestimated the amount of guards that would be at the Pollux Skybase guarding those ships. Stormtoopers were doing their very best to keep everyone that wanted into the Skybase away. And, to Khan's surprise, he was not the only one trying to get at the ships there. There were several others. This was helpful of course; them getting themselves killed would be good distraction for the enemy stormtroopers. Khan watched as somebody popped out from one of the nearby barricades, igniting a lightsaber and running for the stormtroopers. He sighed. There were Jedi here. He wasn't surprised of course, they probably figured they had to be here to 'save the Galaxy'. Well, this one was doing quite a good job of encouraging stormtroopers to shoot at him, conveniently distracting them from shooting at Khan. That was helpful.

Khan gathered the Force for a moment from behind his barricade. He didn't intend to kill many of the Stormtroopers; that would waste time. And there was already likely many others getting aboard the Omega, possibly force-users looting what Khan had come for. He didn't intend to spend the day killing soldiers instead of finding holocrons or artifacts. He would get to a ship as quickly as possible, and leave the spaceport. Khan suddenly stepped out from behind his barricade, removing his vibroblade and raising his free hand at the nearest stormtroopers. Before they could register what was happening, the nearest soldiers went flying across the spaceport. Khan smiled as he watched the troopers fly for a moment, before making a dash for the nearby ships.

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Location: The Pollux Air Base, [member="Undin Jaii Kryze"], [member="Khan Ra"]
Allies: None

Objective: Get used to new armor, reach Omega, assume control.

The droid stepped out in a brand new shiny suit of armor, one of the Vanguard sets made from Phrik Firemane produced a while back, he just asked Siobhan if she had anything he could use instead of his old Protectorate armor, and this was the hand-me-down she gave him. The machine adjusted himself in the black and orange suit, making sure the Phrik plating was laying just right on him.

"It is tight in the hips, yet wide in the chest."

HK complained, fiddling with the set,

"And there is this weird small from the cro- Oh dear Machine God, this is Siobhan's used armor."

He was on the verge of dry heaving before he realized that he had neither lungs nor a stomach, but when he agreed to take the armor he was sure it was just a suit Sio had in her storage, one of the models they didn't used yet.

Going through the battlefield the droid managed to avoid, or really ignore, the fighting, letting the blaster bolts just splash against the Phrik plates that now covered him in addition to his already mostly Phrik body. He was one tough Phrik. The bolts left black smudges on the plates and heated them up.

HK looked up at the station above them, taking in the sight of the Omega,

"So this is it, the Omega."

He put his hands on his hips,

"The Protectorate went in a totally different direction than I thought after I left."

He was still uncertain what Omega really was, as far as he knew it had something to do with the Omega Protectorate.

HK came up to a couple of Omega stormtroopers in the mid of a battle frenzy,

"Hey, lads, hello."

He waved to them, his hands moving back to his hips,

"I am from Omega too, I was wondering if you could direct me to an officer I could talk to so I can get in touch with the higher ups?"

As the Omega fired again, it seemed space itself was bleeding. The blood soaking through the shuttle screen and bathing them. Making them whole again and new. They would be drenched in it soon enough. There were some cults in the galaxy that believed war and bloodshed was necessary for the galaxy to continue to turn. It was all superstitious mumbo jumbo but at this particular moment it could have been real. Kierel watched with a mixture of awe and horrific fascination making out the space battle. One of the First Order Star Destroyers was blown to bits as it tried to ram into the enemy fleet. The rest of the fleet seemed to be in a headlong charge with walls of laser fire streaking across space. Howling banshees screaming towards prey. She didn't trust the bald headed Sith. She wasn't sure she trusted anyone here. But she didn't have a choice. Kierel Ortis would make sure that no matter what they could stop this monstrosity.

Now here they sat in a barely shielded shuttle seemingly clumping its way towards the Omega. And as it loomed larger and larger. Kierel knew what was to come. She readied her blaster rifle and moved towards the shuttle ramp. The sound of the shuttle blasting it's way through the assembled greeting party sounded like the thump of a drum that seemed in key to the beat of her heart. The thumping grew faster and harder it felt as if her heart was about to pop out her chest. This was the first time she had spoken the whole mission, not counting the mind speaking.

"There are a lot of soldiers dying for us. They don't know if we've made it or if we can stop this but they're buying us time with their lives. If we fail, if we don't make our lives worthy then the entire Galaxy might just fall silent." Kierel looked around at the assorted team if they could be called that. She'd rather have a legion of stormtroopers. But here she was with a medic, a bunch of crazy eyed Sith. A child that had invaded her mind. A monster covered in fur. And then there was the last one. Wolf his cold calculating look passing over her, she shivered. "Lets make sure they aren't dying for nothing." at that she her gaze turned to the bald Sith. His contempt and arrogance a mirror of what she expected to find from the Dark Lady in charge of this death machine.

The ramp slammed down, she was still in her snowtrooper outfit but had discarded the helmet at the academy. As the knights moved forward she took aim at the reeling enemy troopers. The first few bolts catching two of them while still on the ground squirming as they struggled to get up. They quickly dived into cover scrabbling behind anything they could. Kierel used the shuttle ramp to peek out and fire from. It was simple. Never have your back turned to the enemy. Always keep your front facing them. Breathe. Shoot. Kill. It was simple it was methodical. In the time it took her to snatch away three lives into the jaws of death it had taken maybe around seven seconds total. That was when the Sith troopers began withering return fire. She kept behind the ramp as the edges of it began to white hot from the blaster fire. She motioned [member="Doc"] to begin firing and began to lay down some fire. Between them and the Knights the hanger was being quickly cleared.

It was then she heard the ignition of sabers. Oh no. She fired at one and the bolt came past her helmet thudding into the underside of the shuttle. She had taken her eyes off the enemy and they were moving up. She flung herself up the ramp to hide. She thumped down at the controls reaching for which one she figured was the trigger and fired towards the oncoming Sith. She didn't see if her hits landed.

Jakkor sat on the shuttle next to his Master holding her hand tightly, after their ordeal in the salt mines freeing the emaciated slaves,he knew that was only a taste of what was to come now he his wife, and some old friends boarded a shuttle to the super weapon narrowly avoiding turbo laser fire from the space battle going on around them. He was afraid these were truly battles like these that only happened during the Age of the Old Republic, but that was only histories he had read this however was reality. Fear was gripping him. He was afraid for his Master, and loving wife afraid that he would lose her, afraid they wouldn't go home, and see their girls again, but Adrenaline overcame such fear, and now this was his time to either fight and live for him,and his loved ones or lay down, and die like a scared little kath hound,he surely wasn't going to have the latter.

After landing in the hanger the door opened, and they were greeted with blaster fire zooming past them, and creating sparks everywhere. Along with Xiarr he activated both his sabers. The green blades igniting to meet the blaster bolt's creating a defensive perimeter around their shuttle, and he fights next to his master blocking the blaster fire back at the troopers. As he was fighting along side his master, and friends he noticed Sith Acolyte's pour into the room to grow in the increasing horde of foes that stood before him,and as he saw this the Tusken thought to himself. "May the force be on our side on this dark day."

Charlyra watched as the two masters headed up, she by choice remained on the ground to support Firemane troops who were just now peeking out from behind the snowy hills. Here she was looking at the shield and then disappointedly handed it back to Quartermaster Ural. She kept her jaw tight and whirled her lightsabres in her hand and as she did so - she felt a disturbance in the force. One she hadn't felt before, turning around she could see him in the distance...

Sith_Warrior_by_hellfire418.jpg

"So you are the one Darth Saprus calls for, mhmm?"

Tabium

Charlyra knew who he was, "then you must be the weak thing she calls Acolyte."

He sneered.

She charged.

Tabium forced slammed her to the ground, "and you're still a child." Taking a breath he looked disgusted, "and what is this foul stench? Dark Jedi?" Shaking his head his lips formed into a malicious grin, "weak as always, Charlyra. Choosing some pathetic Dark Jedi Order to join, shall I demonstrate to you the power of the dark side, again?"

"There is passion, yet emotion," Charlyra began to speak her code, the code of fire. She was going to ignore him this time, his taunts had worked on her when they first met years ago. She was a younger woman then, a more arrogant woman and that battle had served its purpose to humble her. "There is serenity, yet peace."

She was standing, her two shotos at the ready, he had slammed her some space away from the Firemane camp. They were on the Citadel grounds as it seemed Tabium chose to conceal himself among the Sith until now. "Speaking your rabble code? Fine, then I shall demonstrate mine." He threw his lightsaber at her and she stood there, like a tree in the wind, and blocked it. He looked at her for a moment and moved to call his saber back and found that she had force sped toward him, and she intercepted him.

"There is chaos, yet order," her words still there, her voice still low as she kicked him to the ground taking the moment to use force stun, and leap over him using the ability to toss a lightsabre, to toss his even further away, "there is no dark side."

In his rage, he went for his force storm. Charlyra was no fool and force leaped out of the area of effect, it bought Tabium time to reclaim his lightsaber. He looked at her, and she looked at him. He focused his senses, catching his breath trying to recall their first meeting, there was something different about her now. No, those Dark Jedi - there was no way they could've done anything with her. She was just as weak as she was then as she is now, he concluded she was bluffing or buying time for her new master to arrive. "I shall do to you what Saprus did to your Master... What was his name?"

"Ah... yes, Ra'alon, the pathetic waste of talent Twi'lek Master."

"There is no light side, there is only the force."

This time, he charged at her, and she charged at him in return, like the two opposing forces that they were the two collided in the center. Violently, snow now rained down upon them as the auras of their power created a surge of power and light. Her magenta hue against his blood red, lightsabres against each other. Charlyra's teeth gritted against one another, her feet planted into the ground. She stared up into his dark sided yellow eyes, "I am the wielder of the flame," she huffed keeping her concentration, "the protector of balance."

"You are a mindless Jedi, still reciting their precious code, what has it done for them lately?" He questioned her, "how their precious Republic finally falls to its death, a death it should have died twice over. What of your Silvers who collude with the Sith? How Jedi of them - and you, you can barely lift a full blade if I recall." His tone was heavy with anger, with hate - and she could feel it.

Charlyra's footing was slipping, he was stronger than her physically - as it had been her entire life. Charlyra was always of lesser strength, but she was always the better at dexterity, at agility. Master [member="Tempest"] had been working with the Acolyte to balance that out and now, the Acolyte had hoped it was going to pay off. "I am the holder of the torch, a soldier of balance."

She refused to lose this battle, she absolutely refused and so she took one step forward. Jaw still tight, still clenching shut. Charlyra's code was doing more than simply keeping her mind focused it was providing her with a verbal battle strike, a way to buff herself. "I am the balance, I am the Force." She took another step toward him and he took a step forward pushing her back.

"I will not yield to you, I will have your head as a gift for my Master." Tabium was tiring of this and moved just an inch to use force push against her and as he did so, he left a small - very small opening for her and one of her blades.

"I AM THE FIRE ORDER!" Charlyra took it, shoving one of her blades into his side. It pierced through his skin (why he chose to wear no armor, was beyond her), the smell of burnt flesh was awful but she didn't care. All she cared was that he screamed, and lashed out. He was losing his concentration and that was exactly, what she wanted and in the moment he looked at his wound - she force stun him.

Tabium was now gritting his teeth working to move his body through her stun, and just as he was reaching out of it, she force disarmed him sending his weapon flying across the blood covered snow. He was then greeted by her boots to his chest, in the singular moment, he felt himself falling backward. Using the force to get back to his feet she force stunned him again and this time sent both her blades across his chest.

Burn marks now glowed along his chest and she wasn't done. "I will not yield to you, I will not yield to your Master and I shall never, become her pawn or her acolyte," Charlyra declared, "I already have a home, a family, and more than your Darth Saprus could ever offer me." She breathed sheathing one of her lightsabers, channeling the rage, the anguish from Ra's death into her force ability. "You came here seeking my head but it is you who shall die on this day but your head will not be sent to your master, but to mine and her name is [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]."

She cast her still glowing lightsaber toward him in a lightsaber toss, and force sped toward him unsheathing the second, and as Tabium stood to block the one flying toward his head. Charlyra met him with her own to his chest. As the first came back into her hand she sliced his head off. In that moment she fell to her knees, her upper back had been injured in the fights prior with the Walker, and her knee seared from the acolyte before Tabium. In her fight against him - Tabium that is, she failed to see that he had indeed struck her, twice. Adrenaline perhaps kept her from feeling and seeing such wounds. The cold ground welcomed her just as it had her rival, and his body now laid bleeding into the pure white substance beneath her feet. So to would Charlyra meet it, face first, lightsabers still clutched into her hands.

Charlyra was breathing, barely - her eyes were heavy. She was tired, and once more she wanted to go home back to Tygara.

Korro entered the base. Drifting his ship near a wall. Korro ran into a hallway. Korro rolled behind a crate, with a blank expression Korro pulled out his dual blasters and readied them. Korro had been hired by an anonymous source to take down Omega. Korro pulled out a bottle of water and took a sip. Any time is a good time for water, even when you're getting shot at. Korro peeked up and fired at some soldiers, creating holes in their chest. Korro rolled to a barrier this time. Crates wouldn't support him. Korro knew he would still get the money if he only barely helped but he wanted extra. There was a greedy expression in his eyes now. Korro fired a few more times. Korro dove to another barrier, preparing his next attack.

She kept moving and could sense others that were coming, the large hangers were impressive and as Matsu moved she waded through and into some of the stormtroopers using them for cover unti she managed to get itno a small area alone. Dropping the pack and deploying several drones to go out she linked them to the datapad and her own information about the area. "Go search for openings and other jedi." There was something mesmerizing and ironic in the red lights that showered the transparisteel of the freighter's viewport. Ironic because it bore unreal resemblance to the rich life of ecumenopolis planets but was actually created for the sole purpose of sowing death across the galaxy. Oddly enough, he relaxed back into his seat as the freighter made its way on its scheduled path. He felt Matsu's curious presence within his mind.

“Is that your real name? Jay?”

Agents were taught to resist and bite, to become literally immune to interrogation, to never give out information. It was only normal. Intelligence services were founded on the gathering of data. Yet, Jude was far from the perfect agent or the perfect person. Habits, long acquired while growing up, such as smoking, alcohol, and women. Over the years since he had become an agent he had tried to overcome them or at least block them. To say he had partially succeeded was an exaggeration. He was only capable of giving her the semi-truth.

"Sort of." He had stated with a smirk on his face and verbally. The agent had eased his mind with the mentalism during the trip, just to recharge a bit the batteries for what was about to come as he did not expect it to be anything close to easy. Matsu Xiangu and Jude Falkrowe were headed to die in vain aboard the biggest superweapon the galaxy has known or become the unusual heroes that could prevent the omega.

The moment the ship landed, Matsu was already up from her seat while Jude disengaged the engine and attempted to catch up with her. By the time he found her aboard the freighter, she had already found them the key to exiting the freighter - uniforms. Smart. Their finding came with a surprisingly witty comment that was more of his style than hers.

"Alright, smartass. Love the design behind this one." He took to taking off his winter clothes with a chuckle. The bodysuit beneath made of armorweave was easily covered by the grim uniform that he put on rather quickly. Being in the army had taught him haste of equipping himself. The agent smashed his winter goggles on the ground and tossed away their remains in the locker behind other uniforms. His wrist datapad remaining concealed under the sleeves of the uniform, just like his hook launcher on his other wrist. The verpine shatter pistol was inserted behind his belt and well hidden beneath his shirt.

The duo then exited the hangar with a large dose of self-esteem as if they belonged here. They had to play to roles - one that answered to the uniform and one did not. Jude's experience and training as an intelligence agent, along with his natural-born talent in acting was not at all tense and it all came natural to him while Matsu beside him had the posture and step of confidence that did not make her stand out as odd.

The pair had both goals in their minds that would all be achieved or not on this specific superweapon. Their most obvious destination was the large doors to exit the hangar. The clanking sound of metal boots hitting metal floor could be heard in synchronization - troops were amassing all over the station, it seemed. They had the trump card of disguise and stealth. The question was...

...until when?

Oh, he had been looking forward to this.

Josh had been briefed on the way here during the shuttle ride. Apparently a Sith group branched off the One Sith had procured some kind of superweapon, and was intending to be used in their conquest of the galaxy. With the slaves freed, Josh's next target was clear - the Sith.

He wasn't entirely sure who their allies were. They seemed to have quite a few of them. But as Matsu, the former party leader, would step out of the shuttle that had brought them into the hanger, he noted her trying to sneak through, using her small frame and using the Stormtroopers as cover. That was her style, but someone had to draw fire from her. And that someone? Well, it might as well be Josh.

The Jedi Master would step out of the shuttle, cloaked in a brown robe that covered his body, hood up. Stormtroopers would take notice of the party that had begun exiting the shuttle, and would begin firing. Josh would move away from the rest of the party, drawing fire away, with blaster bolts being redirected from him as he walked as he used the Force to bat them away. He was calm... He was serene... But inside, something was bubbling.

His blood was churning... Not in anger... But in apprehension. He didn't know why, but something deep inside of him... It was excited for this battle. This wasn't his usual slaver romp. There were no slaves to watch out for, and his other party members could take care of themselves... It was just him, a bunch of stormtroopers... And their Sith caretakers.

And finally, he would throw the cloak off, an eager grin crossing the Jedi Master's face as he would reveal himself to the crowd, his lightsaber flying from his belt into his hand as he would ignite the blue blade. He couldn't contain his excitement anymore... He didn't have to hold back now. Not in this crowd. He felt at ease somehow... Like this was where he belonged.

Josh was a diplomatic guy, and would always take the nonviolent route if he could, but... Deep down... He was, and had always been a warrior.

"Let's go."

Blaster bolts would begin to fly, and the Jedi Master would begin to deflect and re-direct them with his lightsaber. Stormtroopers were not the type that he spared, as he knew what the Stormtroopers had done, and their history... They were monsters. Trained, and conditioned to be monsters... And nothing more. It would be a mercy to kill them, he knew, as much as he hated to say it. It would relieve them of their burden. He had been naive once... But he knew now. He knew that he had to judge well of when to kill... And when to preserve life.

This was not a time to preserve life.

Deep down, he had to control his emotions. The Sith... They were the monsters who had taken everything from him. His family...

His father...

His brother...

They were all gone. And part of him deep down wanted to slaughter them all for it. But he knew he had to keep himself in check. He was a Jedi, after all...

No mercy.

Josh would reach the small group that had chased him, and he would raise his blade vertically to deflect a bolt that was shot at him at point blank range, the positioning sending the blaster bolt flying right back into the helmet of the Stormtrooper, the helmet being the only reason they lived as they would lurch back. Josh would leap into the air as the others would fire at him, and the bolts would impact the armor of their brethren over and over, downing the first trooper. But they kept attacking, seeming to have no regard to the fact they had accidentally cut their brother down...

It sickened him.

The Jedi Master would deflect bolts as he flew through the air before landing on his feet, sliding his blade across the floor and sweeping two of the troopers, taking the third at close range and slashing through his side, downing them, before clenching his fist as he would lift the other two prone troopers into the air with the Force, and then tossing them aside, watching them collide with troopers in another battalion and leaving them to be taken down by another party after Josh had provided an opening.

One of the last remaining troopers that had chased him would fire a blaster bolt at him from behind, but Josh would turn and reach out a gloved hand. The bolt hit his palm... And fizzled out. Of course, it was the Magnus Armor that protected him. But as far as they knew... They were just a pair of gloves.

The mind games seemed to work as the trooper, and the other one in the group that had chased him, would begin to squirm back.

"W-wh-what.... What are you?" One of them would cry out, in pure astonishment and fear.

Josh's expression had changed. No more smirk, no more playful tone. His expression, his demeanor... It was all business.

"The monster that you created."

Down two more stormtroopers, as a barrage of fireballs would be launched from his outstretched hand, bathing his opponents in a stream of fire. The commotion had gotten the attention of another group though... And Josh knew that the battle was far from over.

He took a breath, and brandished his blade...

"Let them come."

Xiarr jumped into the crowd of stormtroopers, cutting as many as he could down, slowley he made his way through the hanger, one body at a time. Eventually his blade met that of another Xiarr looked up to to see a Sith Acoylte, the crimson glow of his blade lighting his face. Xiarr took a few steps back, ready to launch an Djem So assualt. Xiarr thrusted his blade at the acoylte, then jabbed and slashed his blade. The acoylte studder, and in the quick timeset, Xiarr stabbed his blade through the acoyltes heart, and his corpse fell to the floor. "Okay... where am I supposed to go now?" They hadn't speacifed on where they where suppose to go, so Xiarr just followed [member="Matsu Ike"] hoping she knew where they where going.

"The slave attack against the airbase had given Doctor Bana Perth's team the time she needed to steal a shuttle craft and fly to Omega. Alongside her stolen shuttle craft flew Karen Roberts and R2-X0 in their X-Wing R. Both ships flew with the IFF of a Rogue Sith banner. Allowing them the ability to evade the automated flak guns of the nearby battle station. Thusly equipped. They arrived at their destination." ~ Sid's Log, The Omega War

Omega's Hanger Bay.

Doctor Bana Perth put the shuttle down next to Matsu's and Jakkor's. Already spawned into the chaos. Perth had her freemen team, (now equipped with Stormtrooper weapons,) disembark and wage war. Although this time. They numbered only less than 30 free slaves.

Karen did what Karen does. She flew into the hanger with her turreted X-Wing and hovered her starship above the battle. Then, like a bird of prey in the air above, she engaged the Sith Knights and their stormtroopers with her X-Wing's swivel cannon. A glorious display of excessively excessive, successive force.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Her X-Wing's cannons tore through the very walls themselves. Sending spray after spray of white glittering explosions in every direction. Sowing chaos in the enemy ranks and causing their Sith Knights to reassess the melee. One such Sith Knight was feeling brave and heroic too. The darkstar warrior leapt from his balcony overlook and aimed his crimson lightsaber right for the X-Wing's beak. He would cut this meddling starship down in one clean stroke.

Alas. Karen simply squinted her eyes at him from inside her cockpit, and he froze mid-flight. Then Roberts unleashed the Force again. Sending our heroic Sith flying. R2 beeped his joy and quickly switched over to the belly gun of the X-Wing. The large weapon deployed from underneath the nose of Karen's ship and quickly snapped off a sudden burst of laser fire. Again,

"Get him R2!" Karen prided her droid.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

The end. Our heroic Sith Knight was blow away in the white fountains of death that followed. Karen smiled against the reflective glass of her dazzling canopy. Jedi below and Jedi above. Even the little dwarf eyes of Bana Perth couldn't help but smile. Yes. Oh yes, indeed.

Together, they would clear this hanger bay with style.
