  • Scanner Baffler: Security-weave is a fantastic material for slipping items past detection systems since its exterior matches the qualities of whatever it is in contact with.
WEAKNESSES
  • Is That A Blaster In Your Pocket?: Security-weave won't stop a good pat down, and even scanners may detect what's hidden behind security-weave if they notice any suspicious weight or mass.
DESCRIPTION
Security-weave is a polymer-composite fiber created by Captain's Choice and designed to allow the wearer to slip small items past scanner systems undetected. Rather than trying to block or scramble scans, however, security-weave accomplishes this by blending into the background of whatever it is in contact with. The exterior surface of security-weave will match the temperature, electromagnetic signature, and even scent of whatever it's closest to, keeping whatever is inside the weave safe from scanning. Sealed pockets and pouches lined with security-weave will appear empty on scanners, if they even appear at all, as they will blend into the background of the surrounding material. The best results come from laying the material close to a person's skin so it blends into the body.

STRENGTHS
  • Efficient Extractor: Even without its overclock setting, the SR0 is designed to more efficiently collect energy from its miniaturized star and sustain that high power generation for longer periods of time.
  • Unlimited Power!: Given how long the lifecycle of a star can last, the SR0 is unlikely to ever run out of power in its users lifetime, even with generous use of the overclock mechanic.
  • Solar Empowered: The SR0 is designed with a variable 'overclock' setting, allowing the user to dial up the energy generation and collection from the miniature star for a massive boost of power.
WEAKNESSES
  • Piping Hot: The SR0 runs even hotter and more radioactive than a regular solar-ionization engine. This is fine while the system is contained, but any overload or breach could have catastrophic results, the nuclear kind.
  • Too Much Power!: Even if the SR0 is able to safely maintain its high energy generation, there's no guarantee the system surrounding it will be able to keep up with its output, especially over a long period of time.
  • Ravenous Sun-Eater: While normal solar ionization reactors are stable, the SR0 deliberately destabilizes its miniature star in order to generate more power, which also increases the risk of breakdowns, meltdowns, or something more...astronomically significant...
DESCRIPTION
Designed as an update to the traditional hypermatter annihilator and solar ionization reactors commonly used in vehicles and facilities across the galaxy, the CC-SR0 is a specialized reactor designed to get the most out of a miniaturized star. This is done by subjecting the star to superheated lasers and powerful magnetic fields that accelerate the rate at which the star naturally generates atomic fuel for fusion. Accelerating the development and extraction of the miniature star this way increases the output of power, heat, and radiation from the reactor, and the acceleration itself can be adjusted to boost the output even further. Combined with the versatility and reliability of the reactor core, the SR0 is a fantastic way to fully power all of the functions of any vehicle, starship, or facility it is attached to.

Just be careful with the acceleration adjuster. Captain's Choice is not liable for any radiation leaks, meltdowns, detonations, or catastrophic astrophyiscal events that occur from pushing a miniaturized star too hard...

WEAKNESSES
  • Total System Failure: Since the repulsorlift, ion engines, and hyperdrive are all routed through this one propulsion system, any breakdown or damage to one can impair the others, or take the whole system down.
  • Power Hog: Repulsors, ion engines, and hyperdrives all require large amounts of power to run, especially all at once, so you'll either need to invest in a good reactor or a lot of refueling.
  • High Maintenance: Not only does the Tri-Drive suffer wear and tear from all three of its propulsion systems, having to maintain the combined propulsion drive is a major chore in and of itself.
