Faction Divine Right to Death

The twins could see that wave of anger that washed over Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed . One didn't need to be an empath or psychic to see it. It was as though the air around him had changed for a moment, as though it was carrying a static current of it's own.

However the Paladins and their captive caught Willow and Ivy's attention. They bowed their heads in unison and then turned their attention to the chained man.

"Damascus is our home. Both the Angels and billions of lives count on it."

"Why would you wish to harm that? Is it death that you seek?"

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
The man in chains had been force to kneel by the Paladins each with an armoured gauntlet on the mans shoulders in order to stop the man from moving yet despite having been forced to kneel and being kept in place the man was still defiant in the face of the inevitable. Gabriel if nothing else was impressed by the heretics defiance if nothing else.

"What you're doing is unnatural and you must all be killed before it's too late" mumbled the man through a busted lip

Gabriel's face turned to stone and rose to his full height and in power armour it only made him seem even larger and more intimidating, he then began directing the full weight of Force Horror at the man.

"You will speak up when the Holy Prophets speak to you." Gabriel stated while glaring at the man. The man's eyes went wide as the force horror hit him like a sledge hammer, struggling to form a cohesive sentence the man spoke slowly as thought each word was now causing immense pain.

"What.. you're... doing... is... unnatural... you.. must... all... die" said the man as he closed his eyes in attempt to not see the horrific visions playing out in his mind.

The twins had encountered many things in their short lives, but never anyone with such anger towards them. And wanting to have them plus countless others killed for little reason other than not liking their religion was deplorable.

"We are helping people! Saving them from the dangers of space! How is that unnatural?!"

Willow knew what the man had meant. People sacrificed themselves to become Angels and for some outsiders, that made them uncomfortable. Yet it was sheer ignorance that led to that hatred, for those within the Navi knew that it was just bodies that were sacrificed and replaced with a better one.

"Your vengeance for what you claim is unnatural is to kill scores of innocent people?" Willow looked to Ivy, sharing her thoughts that such a position cannot spread further, lest many others would come to Damascus Station and try to destroy it. It was far better to act on this quickly than to give the flame time to spread into an inferno.

The twins turned their focus to Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed and the two Paladins that held the saboteur. "This man lacks reapect for the lives of others, Damascus and the Angels that protect them."

"This man fails to understand the dangers of the Galaxy without it."

"Take him to the nearest hanger, open the airlock and send him back out into the Galaxy without any of the protection that our people and the Angels can provide."

"Maybe then in his final moments understanding and respect will come."

"Without us, there is only death."

"And it will be death that he will be given."

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"Yes Holy Prophets I shall teach this man respect" Gabriel said "Your wills be done". Ordering the Paladins to grab the man and follow, walking towards the nearest hanger would take about 15 minutes. On the way the trio pasted dozens of Keepers and Holy Knights all either saluting and standing to attention or stopping and starring in awe as they pasted.

Entering the hanger Gabriel ordered unlocked and cleared, taking the chains from the Paladins he stepped in to the airlock and just pulled the struggling man in ensuring his helmet was properly fastened and his mag boots where on Gabriel looked down at the terrified man.

"This is the will of the Prophets and your punishment is death heretic" Gabriel told the man. locking the door to the hanger and undoing the mans chains Gabriel walked over to the release lever and pulled, the atmosphere rushed out out pulling everything that wasn't secure out into the cold void the man had one last look of horror on his face as he tried to grab on to Gabriel only to be back handed off into space. When the execution was completed Gabriel resealed the airlock and walked back into the hanger.

Willow and Ivy watched Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed and the other Paladins take the saboteur away. They didn't need to go and watch it happen. They had seen it before. They had also seen far worse from their time with the Hutts.

Did they feel that the execution was wrong? Not in the slightest. The man wanted to kill billions. He would learn his lesson in the end...

Once Gabriel returned, the twins bowed their heads to him.

"Thank you for your quick service."

"Billions of lives are saved because of your efforts, as well as the other Paladins that caught him."

"We will need to keep vigilant for others like him."

"Yes if word spreads about our punishments, we could create even more enemies. Like those beyond Damascus."

"We must be careful."

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"No force in this life or the next will stop me from performing my duty" joked Gabriel "Vigilance is a must and our enemies will not find your Paladins wanting. Caution is always good but there are times when it pays be bold"

Both of the twins agreed with Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed 's sentiment. It did pay to be bold at times. Neither of them wanted to use fear as a tool to keep others in line, but certain circumstances demanded it. At least they didn't make a public spectical about the execution.

"And did he learn his lesson in the end?"

"Did you see it in his eyes?"

"Did he plead for mercy?"

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"Yes Holy Prophets he did indeed learn his lesson and I saw the horror in his eyes as well, to further compound the fear I used Force Horror" Gabriel stated "The heretic tried to plead for mercy but the void stole his breath"

"I'm afraid Master Gabriel and Holy Prophets Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy I couldn't find any information regarding the recently deceased, it's as thought he didn't exist until recently" Phobos spoke up with the air of a butler.

The twins were pleased that the execution went perfectly. They had designed it that way. Without the Angels to protect them, space would kill everyone. For some people it was a difficult thing to grasp. And for some it was the last thing that they would learn before space took them.

Their attention shifted from Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed to his Angel, each raising a brow at his words.

"Does that mean he was a spy?"

"Ivy it means that he worked for someone....Somone that's against us."

"But who would that be? The Hutts?"

"No, their aim has always been for capture. This is something else entirely..."

"Executioner Creed, do you think that you could find out more information?"

"Was anything of his left behind? Like clothing or a weapon?"

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"I shall see it done immediately Prophets" Gabriel said

"Actually master I've taken the liberty of ordering a thorough inspection of the man's personal belongings and quarters, it would seem that was no form of technological devices found within the man's rented room however what was found was a fleshy lump roughly the size of a fist, scans say it is capable of emitting signals and receiving them.

Willow and Ivy looked to one another, before looking to Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed . It was clear that they were beyond puzzled.

"A fleshy lump?"

"Can you take us to his room? We might be able to search for more information with our gifts."

The twins had been known in Hutt space for being able to find lost people and things for others simply by touching other object related to the case. The webs of the Force always guided them and they were sure that the webs would help them now.

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"Very well Prophets" Gabriel said, switching his helmet to comms "Paladin squads Scylla and Charybdis report to the Atrium, we're going for a walk"

Not soon after Gabriel's order the aforementioned Paladin squads marched in the Atrium in perfect unison and saluted Gabriel and bowed towards Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy .

"Paladins phalanx formation around the Holy Prophets" ordered Gabriel "We'er off to a crime scene"

With the order given Shields flared on as one leaving no opening for an enemy to get through, on the way to the man's quarters they passed may of the faithful all of whom bowed and tried to get out of the way of the Paladins lest they be crushed under foot. The Paladins for their part being in high alert mode would treat any threat to their masters with extreme prejudice, none would threaten the Prophets if they had any say in the matter.

Willow and Ivy didn't mind the extra protection. In fact they were rather used to being surrounded by guards. It had always served two purposes; both to protect them from others and to prevent them from escape. However nowadays the latter reason wasn't required.

The twins walked with Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed and the Paladins through the station towards the saboteur's rented room. Once it was cleared of any traps or dangers, they were permitted entrance.

It wasn't hard to find the fleshy glob that was mentioned earlier. It was green in colour and in the shape of a shell. Whomever had found it earlier had left it on the bed. The twins approached it.

"Executioner Creed, is it safe to touch it?"

Willow was the first to touch the fleshy object, picking it up and holding it in her palm, while Ivy placed her hand over top of it. Both twins closed their eyes and tapped into the Force. Being gifted in the art of Psychometry, it didn't take long for the webs of the Force to appear in their minds eyes. Different colours of strands appeared, yet they were peculiar in that they were wrapped around something that they couldn't see. It was....unusual...

"I can see him. He's sneaking around engineering."

"Yes, me too! But he isn't familiar with the systems, so he hesitates."

"That was when the Paladins found him and he ran here, hiding this thing and other objects."

The twins followed the strand further, moving their collective minds further back in time.

"He's talking to someone. He's calling them Master and accepting orders."

"He must have been a slave like us, or owned by a Darksider like Kyrel Ren Kyrel Ren ."

"But Kyrel we can see and feel. This one we can't. Do you even hear his voice, Ivy?"

The younger twin focuses on the strand that they couldn't see. Even touching it brought nothing. So she focused on the strand entertwined with it that she could see.

"I hear it a little bit. Like a faint echo that the man hears as he's being spoken to...."

Willow and Ivy snapped out of it, dropping the object and looking up to Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed . "They are planning an attack, one that starts as a ripple and ends in a tidal wave."

"We must be ready."

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
Upon hearing the twins saying their would be an attack Gabriel's main began to race with tactics to use against the unknown enemy but he would be able to come up with any true counters until he knew more about his opponents.

"And we shall be ready my Prophets" said Gabriel "Are the both of you ready to let loose the dogs of war?"

Gabriel Creed

The Prophet's Executioner
"You said there would be an attack do you have any idea where its coming from, so that we may perform a tactical strike in order to stop or at least slow down?" asked Gabriel.

At the end of the day Gabriel hated being in the dark about his opponents for it meant they were capable of anything and a known enemy had a face and therefore he could make a pretty good guess at what they were thinking and come up with tactics to stop them. But mostly he feared the coming attack was merely a distraction for something bigger, then with sudden realization Gabriel's gut told him Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy were viable targets and with the twins dead it would strike a terrible blow to everyone on the station and make them easy prey for a follow up attack.

The twins shook their heads in unison in response to Gabriel Creed Gabriel Creed 's question.

"At the moment we do not know."

"But we'll try to find out so that preperations can be made."

They both shared a smile to eachother before looking up to Gabriel. "Try not to worry. The glimpse that we saw so far means that it's still far away."

"Oh yes! We have plenty of time. And we are still building."

"The Navi protects. That's not an empty statement. It rings true in every aspect."
