"You have our gratiude," Samka had communicated to the blind man as she boarded one of the ships set to leave for Omega. "Should we all survive this, there may even be a place for you in the First Order. We shall see." And with that, the ship's doors had closed.

She walked through the small vehicle's interior and directly to the cockpit, entering the code Death Cap. The shuttle shook into life and lifted from the ground, heading right to the heart of the enemy. Sam sat in the pilot's chair, letting the auto-pilot take her to their destination, with her legs crossed and hands together. The teenager sighed aloud, only just realising she could hear her breath once more and gave a quick smile. It was comforting to have a sense restored, the disorientation of the Sith Academy behind her. The Academy's Sith Lord had given them much to think about, provided the man's advice was sound, the destruction would best be achieved by damaging the crystal's powering the weapon but perhaps they could take the crystals instead? It should have the same effect as destroying them and Sam was certain the First Orders R&D division would appreciate them.

A large explosion caught her attention. The battle with the Sith fleet was clear as she ascended to the superweapon. A Sith fleet of impossible proportion battling against the combined arms of other galactic powers, including that of the First Order. Brushing a strand of hair from her eyes, Sam leaned forward towards the window. The Omega had been fired very recently and the effects were clear to see. The largest ship in the Galactic Alliance was crippled and at least two of the First Order's capital ships were going down. The bulk of the Sith fleet was focused on the First Order, naturally. Sam shook her head as she watched the battle continue, salvaging what they could from Omega was secondary to destroying it. It was the only way they could be certain to save the fleet.

But what of the Sith Lord, Darth Molior? Privately Sam was hoping they could avoid facing her. Hopefully they could get in, destroy the crystals and get out leaving the Sith Lord to perish in Omega's self-destruction but things never did work out so easy. An unkillable enemy with no heart to stab. Surely even one like that could not survive her head being severed from her body? But even that method Samka had little hope for.

Sam could only ponder how to defeat such a foe as the ship grew closer to their destination

Arla watched as [member="Cole Dagos"] jumped down, now she wished she hadn't pushed the Jet Pack which was now trying to cool. She shook her head with slight disbelief, and jumped. She tucked and rolled then laid there for a moment getting her breath back.

Ok. She got up and now she looked around at the others who had come through the hole in the gate, Cole she assumed was somewhere getting the gate up. Arla looked around the enemy forces were not as thick as they had been they quickly made short work of the remaining guards. A few blaster shots exchanged by all drove off the last of the forces defending the Citadel.

She looked over and nodded to [member="Ghorua the Shark"], and then up at [member="Funky Balor"] he certainly knew how to make an entrance.

Arla turned there were lifts to take them up. "I think that's our ride up" She kept on alert her eyes scanning through the T as the inner workings alerted her to movement, except she had to make exceptions if they weren't firing at her, she didn't fire back right away.

Here on the surface the Sith were the enemy and clearly there were many around that were not mandalorian, even Cole was not yet Mandalorian. He was seeing if he and Kaia could fit in, she had no doubt that he would fit in.

The sky was a forbidding color one that she compared to a soup she tried once and found it rancid. This comparison only made her think about this was going to be a bad experience.

It seemed that no one had expected an intruder to be brazen enough to try and fly to the roof, let alone make it. Her jet wings were a load of crap since an ion bolt had fried the electrical systems, but she was on top at last. Now all that remained was getting down and opening the gate. Piece of cake. Where it not for the fact that she was still quite a bit drained from the battle on the ground. Not to mention the presence of Sith mooks. Fortunately, it seemed the squad of stormtroopers had not expected her. For a change, Elpsis chose not to take the direct approach. She would need her energy when she faced the two Sith knights.

Steadying her breathing, the redhead plucked a grenade free from her utility belt, pulled the pin and tossed towards the two Sith, using just a bit of Force to propel it. It was one of those fancy Anti-Forcer Grenades Firemane commonly equipped its troops with. Due to a fuse system, any change in acceleration caused detonation and it would only explode once it reached a safe distance from the thrower.

The Force gave the Sith a warning, but the Sith Knight's Force Push set the grenade off. Boom. The grenade detonated in a flash of bright light, temporarily blinding the Sith and leaving them with burns. Of course, the guards had been alerted by the commotion. Acting quickly, Elpsis leapt down and charged into the fray. Her burning orange lightsabre sang a song of doom and purgation as it clove through two stormtroopers, opening them up like white plastoid containers before sending a gust of flame towards the third.

A fourth stormtrooper broke into a sprint to avoid reflected blaster bolts, firing his rifle in short, controlled bursts. Precog kicking into action, the redhead slashed a crimson beam into the wall, but the soldier took careful aim and one bolt cut into her leg.

Elpsis grimaced as a painful sensation spread through her, but continued to bat away screeching bolts. The bolt from the fifth stormtrooper found her side and exploded. His comrade rushed at the intruder, rifle blazing, but Elpsis saw the bolts coming and grabbed the soldier's comrade with the Force, pulling him into their trajectory. Then she charged and sliced through the trooper's gun with a forceful clove.

Undeterred, the stormtrooper revealed a hidden weapon inside his gauntlet and unleashed a torrent of freezing chemicals at the Force Mistress. Frost overwhelmned fire as the woman turned to ice, her voice howling in pain. Once he was done, only Elpsis' head remained unfrozen. Frostbite was a thing and quite nasty.

"That's for my friends!" the stormtrooper yelled in anger and pulled a disruptor pistol. With a shaking hand, he raised it and took aim, but before he could disintegrate her, the ice suddenly melted like snow before a supernova. The soldier took a step back, shocked.

That cost him as Elpsis knocked the tip of the trooper's gun away from her with her frost-covered forearm and smashed her boot into his ankle. There was a mean crunch and an onslaught of pain as he fell to the ground. She only needed one shot to shatter his visor and another to turn his brain into sushi. However, her triumph proved short-lived, for the two Sith had recovered and unleashed their fury upon her. They might be inferior in Force power, but they were far more rested and very pissed off.

Telekinetic power flung her and she was slammed into the ground. Ouch. Sickly tendrils of Force Drain swam through the air and gripped her, seeking to sap her of her strength and vitality. The redhead grit her teeth at the pain, blood dripping down her chin. Gripping her bolter and yanking it up, she willed herself to focus and fired, spraying the twin Sith with buckshot. Buckshot everywhere!

There was a cry of pain when an absurd amount of durasteel pellets sliced into the Acolyte's abdomen. Buckshot was handy because you did not really need to aim. Use it in close quarters, and anyone not wearing armour would have a bad day. Unlike his master, the apprentice had not escaped in time. "I will be your doom!" His fury took over and he blasted Elpsis with Lightning. Some of it was reflected, and the command console died, making sparks fly.

The Knight's face was contorted in an expression of rage when he realised his apprentice's folly. "You fool!" he yelled and drained his apprentice of his life force, letting him howl on pain as he consumed his putrid essence, until Elpsis put the poor acolyte out of his misery.

"Have you guys ever noticed that Stupid Evil doesn't work?" she quipped, breathing heavily. Smoke coiled off her armour. Her HUD seemed to have been damaged, but she could see enough.

"Your struggle is futile. Even if your foolish attack succeeds, the Sith will rise again. The Jedi will fall and..." Boom. Elpsis fired, but the Sith was too fast and somersaulted through the air, landing hard upon the ground, in the same moment as he sent the corpse of a stormtrooper flying to her from behind, making it ram into her back with enough force to knock her down.

"I don't give a feth about Jedi," Elpsis snarled as he came at her with his Sith lightsabre. Her lightsabre ignited just in time to block a beheading stroke. Lightsabre and sword clashed. Lightsabres were all but weightless, which amplified the speed Moreover, it soon became apparent that the Sith was simply the better duellist as they clashed, broke apart and clashed again.

Then she got a hard kick in the face and her lightsabre was knocked out of her grasp in a disarming slash. The redhead had been trying to channel her pyromancy and so her gauntlets had been retracted. As the Sith launched himself at her she raised her bare hand and caught the blade. Burning, searing agony surged through her hand, a finger was shorn off, then suddenly the weapon was blown up as she overloaded the power cell. As the Sith screamed in agony, she rammed her boiling hot fist into his face. As he tumbled, she seized his neck between her two flaming hands and strangled him until his eyes closed. She gave the corpse a contemptuous kick, then limped down towards the blasted gate controls and looked at the door. A moment later, the gate opened.

Cole limped briefly his right ankle sprained from jumping off the wall. That was definitely a bad idea but there was not time to think about all that. He pulled his blaster taking shots at the remaining defenders.

He made his way forward looking at the Citadel and up towards the weapon. The Citadel could have some remote access control but then again it may not. He wasn't sure but what he did know was that weapon need to be taken out.

Arla's voice broke him form his thoughts making him turn towards her.

"The weapon.....................?"

He made his way towards the lifts moving a little slower thinking about had bad he would need a medic before long. He took a deep breath forcing the pain from his mind getting in the lift. He turned to Arla with a chuckle.

"Guess I should have looked before I leaped." "That's gonna sting in the morning." "I blame you for setting a bad example."

He teased her.

She could feel them coming closer when people started moving out of the way. They drew near and she drew poised for action, though she didn't ignite her saber just yet. That would give away her position with the all too familiar snap-hiss of the blade activating. Instead, she remained ready, saber in hand. They would come into the village and they'd start searching the shanties and allies nearby first. Thoroughness was not out of the question just because they were darksiders. She counted on this fact, and waited patiently for one of them to enter the alley so that she could ambush them and move on.

The first one didn't come from the mouth of the alley, but came around the back of a hovel. Probably he or she had gone through the hovel and come out the other side. It didn't matter. She was ready. Before he or she could bring their gun to bear, she'd moved, bounding off the wall and up to keep the troopers blaster moving where it couldn't draw a bead on her fast enough to be of use. As she came down, she activated her saber and sliced it clean through the troopers neck before backing away.

It was only one soldier, but it was a start.

She deactivated her saber again and raced down the alley between hovels, ducking inside of a darkened building to wait for more of them to come after her as she knew they would. She could hear other fighting nearby. That, too, might draw the attention of the troopers and Sith, but that was alright. It was likely her allies fighting against enemy forces. They could work together to defeat these creatures of evil. It would certainly make it a lot easier for her, considering she didn't know the strength of the Sith she was up again. He was probably stronger than her, but that alone would never be enough to dissuade her from action.

Kira could feel her fingers slipping, the pipe becoming harder and harder to hold onto beneath the Foreman’s aggressive assault. Yet the voice inside her tried to give her all the answers she need. She just needed to accept the words and actually listen.
Her eyes closed, and the knight let the Force come flowing through or at least that is what she hoped she was doing. The fact that her pain seemed to fade away and the effort became less of an ordeal meant that she believed she was doing the right thing.

Above her the foreman continued to make his way to stand over where she was currently hanging beneath. She could feel his presence, hear his motors and smell his scent. Everything was more alert as she gave the pipe above her a look, a thick metal claw appearing down in an attempt to grab Kira from beneath.

There was a sound on the air…a familiar beat that Kira felt in her heart as much as her head. She looked up, towards the horizon ignoring the claw as it came to grab at her. A smile flickering across her mouth as with a deep breath she let go of the pipe and began to fall towards the fire laden ground beneath.

Except the ground never came, cold metal instead instantly came to meet her form. The Falcon piloted by her Wookiee co-pilot came roaring beneath the pipe and whisked her pilot from the clutches of death, the pipe itself dissolving as the YT ripped through it. Even at the speed she was going Kira managed to get a firm hold on the ship’s hull and began to pull herself towards the access hatch that as legend had stated a certain Skywalker had been rescued through in a very similar fashion nearly 900 years ago.

She practically fell into the ship, instantly being hoisted up by an Underground soldier who should have been manning the guns.
“Are you okay General?” He asked, clearly taking in her worse for wear appearance. “You need to get to the quart—“
“No!” Kira pulled out of their hold and moved to the cockpit, limping as she went. “The airfield…We need to get to the airfield.”
Charlwook roared as she entered.
“They’ve already fired it haven’t they?” She slipped into the Captain’s chair. “We may just have to ride up on the Falcon.”

Outside of the ship however the question remained had the threat of the Foreman truly been ended?

The MARV roared forward, its engine fearsome and its fangs ready to sink into the enemy that dared oppose it. Rhan gripped on the handle and his fingers held steady on the trigger on the mounted repeater weapon. His eyes narrowed as he spotted fire and shots, but most importantly he saw the enemy troopers ahead and his fingers pressed down on the trigger. The weapon spun into life and fired heavily at the troopers. His HUD displayed several spots of enemy movement and fire and he swiveled the weapon accordingly to lay down heavy fire in the general direction.

The stream of bullets continued to rain upon the enemy, only breaks for a quick cool down relief as Rhan noted the heating. He hardly had time to see where bodies were dropping, only that the body had taken hits and that was all Rhan needed to see. He turned to face ahead and noted that much of the retreating troops had positioned themselves defensively and their return fire was coming straight for the MARV. Rhan started to return fire but was force to duck down to relative safety to dodge several blaster shots aimed for his general direction. He could have sworn the metal around him was turning bright red from the constant barrage of heavy blaster fire.

He tried to position himself back to return fire but the MARV bounced up and shook heavily, nearly ripping Rhan's body from the mount as he held tightly on. He felt his world spinning as the momentum increased and slowly pulled away from Rhan's deathgrip around the mount of the weapon. Rhan blinked once and suddenly he felt himself in free fall, he saw the MARV continue its spin and the trenches from where Rhan had guessed launched the MARV into the air. He saw his arms slowly move and his knees too moved up closer to his chest as his arms covered his neck and back of his head. Time continued to slow as Rhan tightened himself into a ball as he braced himself for the impact.

He felt his back slam against the ground and a rush of air forced from his lungs as Rhan gasped, his limbs loosened as he rolled slowly to a stop. Rhan coughed as he tried to breath, to regain back his conscious and focus but instinctively his body tried to stand back up. For a mere moment his body succeeded to get his limbs to pick himself up on all fours before collapsing as Rhan shook his head to get his breathing back to order. For what felt as a lifetime Rhan slowly picked himself up, grasping at his rifle and using it as a crutch to keep himself from falling back over.

The war continued but not before Rhan faced with what he could only guess be the Omega, it fired into the skies. His eyes turned to the Gate that they hadn't even reached, and now the weapon had fired and whatever plan these blasted Sith have come up was set into motion. Breathing in deep his stood straight, his rifle nestled back on his arms as he crouched and moved back to MARV. Dean had taken no time to jump on the mounted weapon and began to fire into the last defense of the remaining troopers blocking the Gate.

Rhan leaned on the MARV, broken now but fearsome all the same, as he moved his forearm closer to his face as he used his other hand to set the controls for his Speeder to find his location. With the enemy fire subsided and much of the Sith defenses shattered his speeder would no doubt arrive quickly and hopefully in one piece. Rhan turned to face the Gate once more, Dean had literally carved a path directly into the opening Gate.

He winced as he breathed deeply, he dropped to the ground as he reached for his Medikit, now opened as Rhan searched for the Bactapatch and a StimPack. He zipped open part of his layered clothing to allow him access to his back, he gingerly touched the offended part of his body as he slowly placed the Bactapatch and pressed himself firmly against the MARV as to assure that the patch was padded nicely on his bruised body. His fingers tightened around the Stimpack and injected it through his left arm, slowly he relaxed and allowed the medication work through his system.

Already other Mandalorians and their allies moved into the Gate, funneled into another hell no doubt, Rhan slowly stood back up once more. He heard the sound of his speeder fast approaching, it jumped over the trench and slowed itself as it landed before coming to halt a few feet from Rhan himself. He rested his forearm as he shut down the remote controls once again to allow manual control for its rider.

He turned to face Dean, "Ja kommandant, the Gate is open, you can take my speeder to reach it quickly," Rhan thumbed at his speeder. "I'll catch up soon enough," Rhan added before leaned against the MARV once more, "If your driving hadn't killed me, no Sith under this colorful sky could," Rhan said with a bitter small chuckle as he realized his own mortality. If you wreck this one, you owe me a new speeder Rhan mused wearily.

"Doesn't matter how good you are—you stay out there too long,
you're not coming back. Not the same way you left, anyway."

The fifty ran dry, his feet buried in a hot tub of shells. Dean had not Rhan in the chaos of everything going on around them. Unbeknownst to him, Dean was not only facing Sith as enemies, but possibly the Mandalorians. Far above them, Horus had just committed treason to their temporary alliance. The venerable Lord of Admirals had pulled his fleet out of the Mandalorian assault in favor of saving the lives of the First Orders decimated fleet.

Dean, unaware of the political calamity that had occurred, stepped down from the MARV with a deep thud, boots sinking into snow and mud. He swiped the slick gruel from his armor and looked to Rhan, "I'll hold you to your word, Rhan, I better see you alive when this is all over." Dean pulled his rifle from the MARV and looked to the Mandalorian one final time, the speeder coming to a rest beside the two. "To be frank, I was never the best driver of these things," he hiked a thumb to the MARV, "And I've never ridden these before," he nodded to the speeder.

He hooked his rifle onto a clasp on the speeder, swung a leg over the vehicle and sat down. His hands curled over the handlebars and gave a curtly farewell wave. "Goodluck." His hands twisted, the engine whined loudly and the speeder zipped off. For a moment it turned left and right, and Dean was almost thrown off, but he quickly caught his balance and speed along the path to the gates. He blasted through, down the laneway and ahead, a turbolift.

Dean craned his neck, afar of the turbolift were Sith shuttles beginning to depart. Retreating? He wondered. He spotted a pair entering the turbolift. He didn't need to see the door close to know it was about too. Kark! He cursed internally. He sped up the speeder, blazing a path through the streets, the engine overheating, the speeder vibrating madly. A second longer and he pumped the brakes hard, he almost launched forward if not for his steeled grip.

It slowed, but not slow enough. He dove from the speeder just as it rammed into the duracrete beside the turbolift. He hit the ground and rolled, world spinning, and in horrible torment. He felt plates rip away from his armor, and what didn't was grazed to the core. Somehow in the mess of things his helmet was forcibly flung from his head, but he came sliding into the turbolift not a second longer after the doors had closed. The Commonwealth commando lay on the floor, staring up at the two Mandalorians he was now sharing a lift with.

Objective: Find weakness for Sith Lord/Find cure for himself

At the very edge of my vision, nearly imperceptible I saw a slight flickering. At first I rubbed at the eye with the back of my hand yet the flashing persisted and when I turned to look there was nothing. Just the closet door I had yet to fully examine. Shaking my head, I cleared my mind refocusing my efforts on reading the datapad before me. There were more important things to worry about than such a slight inconvenience. It just so happened to be my luck this was only the beginning of the Sith’s research. Which meant that the other datacubes were the ones I should’ve been reading. All the messing around I was doing was costing me time. What were the others that had come into the tower doing while I sat here reading through books like a scholar? Perhaps they’d walk to their deaths while I searched for a secret to defeat the Sith who had killed the other occupants.

Continuing on with my reading the flashing light appeared once again, but visible in both eyes easily distracting me. The datapad became unfocused out of nowhere butterflies’ fluttered into my vision. Their wings a multitude of colors as they flew within the parameters of my vision before going upwards to the ceiling. Following their flight with my eyes I looked up to see a large Wyyyschokk perched over me saliva dripping from its maw. Wyyyschokk were oversized arachnids that plagued the depths of Kashyyk’s forest. I had once had to face them in my youth due to a Nightsister controlling them. To this day I never forget the large black bodies and red patterns the creature sported. Falling from the ceiling it landed and I dropped to the floor beneath it. The shrieks of the beast would’ve filled the air if not for the silence spell. As I tried to scramble away from the pincers that threatened to tear my throat out.

[SIZE=11pt]The weight of the creature felt real but as I opened my eyes relying on the ultraviolet sight my people were gifted with I noticed the creature wasn’t real. It wasn’t there. Switching back, it was once again real. What sorcery was this?! Raising my left hand, I opened my mouth to scream but no sound poured out. Instead I summoned a pulse of compressed air that collided with the creature causing it to vanish, but for how long I did not know. It had to be the Blood Angel, that was the only explanation, I had to return to reading before the visions returned. Inserting Notes- Sessions 26-50 I settled down hoping some cure had been noted[/SIZE]

Giving a nod of thanks to the blind guide, Wolf moved behind [member="Samka Derith"] to board her shuttle. They had been given a wealth of information, and Wolf was not entirely sure how they would tackle it. Focussing crystals, an ancient dead Sith Lord, work together. Indeed it was a peculiar attribute of the Knights of Ren, and one that set them apart from their Sith cousins. Though all the working together in the world did not seem to be enough to stop a creature that was already dead. A part of Wolf hoped they would not have to face her. And another part of him hoped they very much would, curious to behold the power that was behind this weapon, and was so arrogant as to consider them mere insects.

The shuttle took off on its voyage towards Omega, and Wolf watched out at the battle that raged above them in space as Samka piloted the spacecraft. The realm of naval warfare was alien to him, and fascinated him as he beheld them. He felt a sense of urgency as he watched the First Order Navy, and though they were unsurprisingly faring reasonably well, the longer this went on the more damage they would sustain, and Wolf desired very much to avoid that. His curiosity about Molior would have to come second to the urgency of the mission, to be done with this wretched Omega device once and for all and be on their way.

There was a tense sense of anticipation as they awaited the Omega. And then, a brief respite as Wolf suddenly heard again. His breath, the whirring of the engines. They were finally far enough out of the vicinity of the Academy. He breathed a sigh of relief. He cleared his throat, "Good riddance." He was internally delighted to hear his own voice again. The curse of silence was a heavy one, and Wolf did not know how those who remained at the Academy for prolonged periods could stand it.

As they neared the Omega, he watched it fire again, though thankfully not towards the First Order. The power of the weapon was immense, and Wolf had to squint as their shuttle was filled with a brilliant red light. The relief at hearing his own voice dissipated quickly as they neared the menacing behemoth. What would lie in wait for them, and what challenges would they face? There were only a handful of them, and who knows how many in that superweapon. His hand rested on the lightsaber hilt at his side as he looked upon the Omega in awe. Were they heading to their deaths? Perhaps. Only one way to find out.

Work as a team? Sith by nature were solitary besides there wasn't anyone present Daxton would trust to watch his back. Enhancing both his speed and reflexes, Daxton made his way to the ships which could ferry him to Omega.

Having extensively studied death magic he was curious to see what tricks the Ancient One possesed as well as showing off a few of his own. The Sith paced as he waited for his vessel to dock at station, a hungry beast itching to tear someone or something apart.

Departing the craft as soon as it docked, he went out in search of this legend in order to put her to rest and perhaps drain her knowledge as well as essence.

As the roar of the engines returned, Doc was elated, “finally.” He exclaimed with excitement his voice slightly altered by the his helmet his checked his riffle ensure it was ready, not entirely sure if it would on and use against a creature that was already dead if it wasn’t’ he would adapt and overcome.

The Airbase
w/ - Smash the Airbase (6)

"[SIZE=9pt]the Pollux Air Base is where the vast majority of the Sith ground based Starfighters (full starfighter craft capable of both atmospheric[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] and space combat like at Starkiller base) are based at, along with the pilots, instructors, and officers that form the backbone of Imperial Starfighter Command. The complex is guarded by a network of entrenched positions and automated AA guns, along with a large shield generator, while the base itself is dug into the side of a mountain." ~ The Codex[/SIZE]

Control Towers be damned.

The Horde of freemen slaves attacked the airbase on two fronts. First. The dump trucks rolled out and crossed the forested valley between the mines and the mountains. The first three trucks were decoys. Loaded down with solid indestructible materials. Both to attract the first fires, tank through the debris, and to shield the trucks that ramped up behind them. No. They did not move fast. But they were still giant unstoppable machines designed for stressful conditions far worse than a little winter weather. The attack commenced with gusto. A horde of trucks loaded down with freed slaves and improvised weapons followed.

Kaboom. Smashing through the Sith barricades and unloading their freemen armies with a quick thrust of their back ramps. They hit the entrenched lines of the Rogue Sith with a terrible fury. Unloading hundreds of slaves upon the soldiers and swarming their bunkers like the Zerg. And yet. This was just the decoy mission. This massive wave of battle like the onslaught of unjust gods, was just the feint.

The second attack would be the killstroke.

A cavalry charge of a different number. The crab droids ride at noon. Karen and Bana rode through the chaos of the trenches leading their armada of stolen factory crab crawlers. A cavalry charge of six-legged wonder. This merry metal horde then used their droid's long legs to climb the mountain fortress above. To reach the hanger bays of the Rogue Sith airbase that lay embedded into the sides of the snowy grey cliffs nearest the sky. A task for which these robots were not designed, yet by which they excelled at. Riding the storm and the thunder with a terrible swift speed. Up, up, up, and again. Like ants against a picnic of Sith starfighters. They had the numbers.

They were the Horde.

...

"The barrier is down! They're coming in!"

The Sith mechanic screamed. Yet it was too late. Twelve crab droids and their freemen riders swept into the hanger bay of the Pollux Airbase. Behind and below them, dozens more of their metal brethren scaled the mountain cliffs. In a roar of gunfire the freemen dismounted their charges and let their robots loose upon the security teams, pilots, and stormtroopers of the hanger bay. Smash and crash, bang and bang. It seemed a terrible fight for the slaves until more and more, and more of the metal crab droids joined the fray. More and more, and more. Stormtroopers fell and fled as yet even more slaves joined the melee.

Colder now. Outside the hanger bay's mountain frame, Karen Roberts and Bana Perth were smiling against the snow. They had been busy dismantling the shield generator higher up the frozen slopes of the mountain base. That dastardly blue barrier that had kept their robots from gaining access to the open bay doors and beyond. Now. With the pathway free and clear for their second assault. Karen pulled her lightsaber out from the melting metal generator and nodded to Bana and her mounted droid. It was done.

"All clear! Generators dead. ...Come on! Let's get inside with the others and give your people a hand!"

"Climb aboard Master Jedi! Destiny awaits!"

Karen reached out into the snow and let Bana lift her up upon the back of her crab crawler. Together they saddled the creature and once again began a climb down the mountain side. The view of the battlefield from here was spectacular. They could see the trenches at the base of the mountains. Swarmed with battle. And they could see the rest of the crab droids advancing into the hanger bays too. Red bolts of gunfire streaking out to meet them. Then silenced. As the crab droids and their slave masters smashed right into their enemies with impervious metal claws.

Downward and low. Deeper into the snow, Karen and Bana climbed. They made for the mountain's now open hanger bays and the jagged black, resting places of the Sith starfighter armada. Like ants against a picnic of doom,

They were the Horde.

Matsu continued to work on it, pushing the force out when the others were at work with the slaves to release them. She could feel the force now as the jedi master was working with more of it to provide them a number of ways to do it. she wanted to test the limits but Lyth was busy working on a way to diffuse the bombs, Joshua and Claire were busy defending and she could work with the others to keep on freeing the slaves while her comlink came. "Master Ike we have a small team ready to head up and out. We have been receiving the slaves you have been freeing and sending to us. We'll be abel to send a ship to pick you up and get to the Omega with the others quickly using the Rac while the teams continue to work on freeing the slaves to load up into the ships." She gave a nod of her head in understanding and working with them to get it. "Alright good, keep up the hard work that you have been doing." Matsu stayed with it though while going over the different collars with the electronic manipulation that she could manage as more of the collars fell to the ground and she was sending them off to free others and continue to push more and more so the freed slaves would be able to free themselves.

" like i said i can defuse all these with a massive emp but it will deactivate all tech in the vicinity. id be stuck as a tiny mandalorian. " she admitted maneuvering her walker over to Matsu. so she could look her in the face.
" What's it going to be? free these prisoners all at once or keep the weapons? " she asked.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Location: Citadel
Objective: Get to the roof
Allies: [member="Elpsis Elaris"] | [member="Charlyra Araano"] | Firemane

As they were about to execute their not so well planned plan, Elpsis got another idea and suddenly activating her jetpack, she started to fly towards up the roof. Nima sighed, knowing that saying something will not change Elpsis's mind, then, Elpsis got shot on the way and Nima, worrying, immediately reached to her mind to make sure she was okay for the landing and then turned to the Firemane troops. "Well, plan doesn't change. We will still buy her time. I want the tanks to fire the weak spots and keep the attention on us meanwhile Elpsis finds a way to let us in." After that, the tanks started to fire rapidly towards the points that hid the last defenders from harm, even from there she could hear some of them dying from the fire. But it didn't take long that they started firing back and after that it turned into a small war, keeping the attention on them, thus giving Elpsis a chance to open the gates quicker.

The battle continued as tanks continued firing, and Nima continued deflecting the blasters. She used tutaminis to take some of the energy from the lasers since she was getting tired, and then lashed out towards the walls with the remaining energy that she didn't need, killing one or two of the resistance. As long as they kept the enemies on them, it would work out. But of course, she would be glad if the gates opened sooner, since [member="Omega"] was not something that she wanted to delay. Not long later though, the once tightly closed gates slowly started to open, revealing the bunch of stormtroopers standing there to defend the Citadel. Elpsis did it! She felt proud, but also a little mad because she continuously put herself in danger, but mostly proud. Sadly for them, they had a tank. "Fire." She said, as one of the tanks aimed at the entrance of the Citadel, surviving from that attack would not be that easy, but Nima was on the way as she firstly ordered the team around her to still continue their mission and keep the attention on them, and then started to run towards the gates. Her lightsaber ready to attack whoever on her way, she reached out to Elpsis's mind once again.

"I am on my way towards the roof. See if you can find us a shuttle." This time, she didn't tell her to be careful. She understood by now that it wasn't her style. But anyway, on the way to the turbolift, there were many people. And of course, they weren't friendly. Trying not to waste so much time, she used a Force Push to keep them out of her way, some of them crashing into the walls, some of them losing their balance, meanwhile she enhanced her speed to the limits towards the lift. But, there was a Sith blocking out the entrance. Great.... She rushed towards her and jump attacked, meanwhile turning in the air to gain some momentum. The Sith was good at defense as he blocked her attack with his lightsaber, and their duel started with clashing sabers which created small sparks which slowly fell to the ground. Since her stance wasn't that useful in defense, she took some hits, which weren't fatal but hurt like hell. But at one point, the Sith made a mistake and raised his saber to the point he was exposed for a quick hit, which she did and stabbed his stomach, killing him on the spot. Now there was no other obstacle in her way, and she proceeded towards the finale, one floor by one.

LOCATION: Omega - Hangar
ALLIES: [member="Jude Falkrowe"]
ENEMIES: Rogue Sith

The Omega was under siege, infiltrated by interlopers on all sides. What was one more ship gliding in to a quiet hangar - especially one they recognized, one that had the current clearance codes and attempted nothing unusual? And still Matsu felt nothing but wariness at the idea of getting out and strolling across that huge, quiet stretch of shiny floor to any of the various doors dotting the walls. She was reminded of those war holomovies where the lone, brave soldier ran across an open field to try to save his friend only to fall victim himself when a hidden enemy shot him in the back. Some part of her thrilled to finally, finally feel apprehension again - but she wanted to live to destroy it.

However, sitting too long while contemplating options would make them seem just as suspicious as jumping right out of the ship. They had to move.

Matsu started looking around the transport, its cramped quarters home to little but a few benches where Omega’s workers could sit during their flight but then she found a sliding panel that hid nothing but a completely empty weapon rack. Still slim pickings, but then she went around checking for more sleekly designed storage space and hit jackpot. Behind another sliding panel she found uniforms - horrifyingly designed uniforms. They were clearly made to seem as beastly as their producer, black and dark green armor shell giving the impression that every worker, trooper, and officer of the Omega was merely an extension of the monstrosity floating in the sky. Despite their lack of shape or fashion, Matsu had to admit that the aesthetic was effective. For a moment she’d almost taken a step back upon sliding the panel open to find the helmets staring at her.

“Here,” she said, holding up a chest piece that would roughly fit her companion. “It might pinch in the armpits a bit, but I suppose it’s better than getting shot on sight.”

She was mimicking his humor, a predator who’d spent too long on her own emulating the people around her to blend in.

The smallest set of trooper gear she could find was still too large for her, the pants threatened to fall down if they didn’t handily clip to the top to form almost a bodysuit. But it was the best she had and once they were in disguise they both left the ship as if they were meant to be there and knew exactly where they were going.

Arla laughed when Cole teased her, her fault? "Yes cause I said Hey Cole jump off here and tell me if it's safe, righhhhhtt" Idgit.

But at least she now knew he was wearing some kind of armor underneath his clothing, unless of course he was just built like that he was from another warrior race, so who knew. She shook her head and headed towards the shuttles.

"Come on Cole let's not dawdle over our boo boos' now, I can get you a band aid later for medical" She looked back, she hoped he wasn't hurt badly but they were in a situation that if he could still move he needed to if he couldn't go on then he needed to wait for medics.

"I have a medpak it has a few things in it, if you need it we can patch you up while we are shuttling off to the Omega"

She settled into a seat and tapped her foot nervously, what was ahead what would happen. It was inevitable it would fire again, it would, then what.

The engines began to engage someone was getting them off the ground.

At this point, Elpsis was not in poor shape. Between being iced, shot a couple times and smacked around, her condition was not that great, to put it mildly. Presumably she'd send some time in a bacta tank when this was all over. She'd also appreciate some TLC from a certain Dahomian.

However, for the time being the Firemane team still had a mission to accomplish. She heard Nima's message and limped back up to the roof. Her body seemed to ache with every step, but adrenaline shot through her. Fortunately, she was still high up and most of the Sith soldiers were busy battling the Mandalorians and other fighters who were coming streaming through the gates.

She dropped down to her knees when she reached the roof, breathing heavily, then pulled together. A stim found its way into her hand, she pulled her helmet off and injected the needle into her neck. She grit her teeth when the chemicals worked their way into her system. For a few moments her vision blurred and her focus drifted then slowly she felt a burst of energy overcome her and she got up. Boarding a shuttle, she sat down in the pilot's seat and powered up the engines. Now Nima only needed to show up and board, then they could go fly to the @Omega. After all, the grand finale was at hand and it would be sad if they missed it.
