A Birthday fit for an Emperor

Iturizu Yuvie

Be carfule what you wish for
Iturizu turned his attetion to another indivudal who made their preance known, coming up behind the princess with what he could only assume was some sort of retoic remark. The man went by the name [member="Atheus"] Voidwalker if he recalled, a dark Jedi and tutor of the crown princess along with being quite the joking individual someone to lighten up any conversion. "It is a please to meet you Princ Voidwalker, quite a sight to see 3 royals in one place at the same time, though I believe that everyone here is more then capable of defending themselves if need be". "Even if they are adorned in a fancy dress", he replied making a gesture to [member="Lunara Azure"] current appeal, it certainly was eye catching.

"Today though is a day to let yourself go and have fun, no point in being or rigid and formal at a birthday party, though I do have to thank you for the invite, even if it was kind of last minute, not that I have had much to do recently". He gave the princess and new arrival a small smile, taking a glass for himself and taking a light sip as the only other green skinned person introduced herself. "I have good knowledge of you Queen Stardust, I have a few connections in the Silver Jedi that tell me of your exploits, it is quite a please to see you to be honest". "Even so your fame does proceed you I am certain almost everyone in this hall knows your name", upon saying such everyone in said hall directed their attention above as directed by the princess.

Standing before the large crowd in a simple but elegant outfit. His speech was kindhearted and down to ground with those around, not something you found with many rulers, even the most open to the public ones still went by their magnificent titles. For once things felt quite different a new, perhaps this Imperium would be different to all the others before, though such still needed to be shown in their works, one mere speech was not enough to firmly plant their stability. "He certainly has a nice persona, though now I feel a little peckish, those chefs will certainly be used a lot today".

Renla came right over to her mother, but had to push through the crowd. Some refused to move, making it a bit hard for her to do so. Then paused, as the Emperor came out. She remained still, looking up to him as he spoke. This was the first time she had seen the man, since some of her time had been recovering and getting used to the new setting. Once the speech was done, however people began to disperse.

Right back on track she went, trying to get her mother. And eventually, made it. Coming to her side. "Mother...I forgot how busy these ceremonies could be." She glanced to those that Stardust was conversing with and gave a little wave. "Renla Skirae. My mother's the social one, as you can guess." Renla much like her father was never really that social.

I rolled my eyes at Lunara. Mentioning how people can have fun without people being bruised on the ground. I attempted to bring some retort back at her when she spoke up again. Speaking of me being just a professor. I could feel pain in my head from how hard my eyes had rolled at the pet name she had given me. I was unsure why she decided to give me such a name, but apparently it will stick.

With the others that were here, I did speak my title, it was strange to say it, and I did it not to draw attention to myself and my stature, but to let those know who I was. That I was not just some random slob who had happened to dress up for once. After the introductions, Azure also mentioned that my titles seemed to proceed hers. Shaking my head lightly as the Emperor himself then entered the chamber rooms.

His speech was very nice. I smiled lightly at it bowed fairly low as he moved down the steps. He had earned my respect. Considering all that he had shown, and given me thus far, allowing my people to work with his, I felt as though I owed him. However, I turned my head over to Lunara and the others that were here.

"Oh yes Star. I have heard of you. Quite the rep-"

I was interupted by another Twi'lek who showed up. Apparently the daughter of Star, I smiled and bowed my head to her as well.

"Oh do not worry. You are not the only one who has a tough time with open crowds such as this. Age matters not in such settings."

I chuckled lightly as I then faced Lunara. Yes, her dress was quite beautiful. It seemed to accent her form very well, and was built for her. Surely it was with her stature within the Imperium, but non the less, she made the dress look better than what it ever could be.

"You know me Azure. I can't not be worried about settings such as this. Not my cup of tea as it were."

Lunara glanced over [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"]'s shoulder at [member="Renla Skirae"], tilting her glass at the blue-skinned twi'lek as a smile danced across her lips. "After all this time, you'd think that one of us would get used to this wouldn't you?" The woman fell silent for a moment, her gaze dancing away around the crowd as for a brief minute she seemed to close in on herself. The moment only lasted for one second, the faintest heartbeat before it was gone, the woman's posture back to normal, unbowed as she brought her gaze to rest on the group around her. "It just never seems to get any easier." There were days she wondered why she'd agreed to this, the life of gilt and cages.

Unconsciously Lunara's hands came up, one hand wrapping around her waist, her elbow resting on her arm as she took a sip of her champagne, letting her glass rest against her lips before she turned a mischevious gaze on Atheus, "So then...what you're telling me is that you want more invitations to the galas like this? The social office will be so glad to hear that," the white-haired woman smirked at her friend over the rim of her glass, "they've been wondering what to do with you. How does that sound, a season of parties, stalking through the quagmire of politics and social warfare. Got to be more fun than the parties where people end up beaten and bloody, at least here there won't be any physical marks." The mental...well, that wasn't ever so much fun, not that she'd ever through Atheus to the wolves like that, but teasing the man was always fun.

"I hope the chefs are kept busy," she glanced over at the Mirialan, giving her a conspiratorial look, "he wasn't joking when he said the chefs would be feeding it to us for the next month, and trust me, after weeks of the same food, it starts to drag on you." That said the chefs around were miracle workers in their own way, but even they could only do so much with it. It was almost enough to make you want to sneak out or find somewhere to live away from the palace for a while. Though going back to visit her parents...probably wasn't the wisest of plans, princess runs from an overabundance of good food, that would just kick up a whole new mess...although there was nothing that said that they needed to eat all the food here. "I don't suppose you guys would me more comfortable with a more informal setting than this? Only we always end up with a lot of food that we don't really need to keep," the woman's blue eyes cut back to the Professor, "as long as you think you can convince the guard into letting me go walkabout for a little while."

She turned and smiled brightly seeing renla as she gave her a small hug and nodded

yes indeed, these ceremonies usually are quite busy but you just gotta find those that are also willingly to converse

She said giving a polite nod to the group she was with. Turning towards [member="Iturizu Yuvie"] she raised a brow but then chuckled, certainly she had a guess her name was known yet rather didnt went to...be overconfident with a big ego

well I had a idea my name was known but kne can never be to sure, the silver jedi were very kind in letting me stay in power and even helped solve a few problems I was stressing over

At the mention of food she smirked, she could est a lot of food so maybe she could help the emperor a little bit on that food issue

well then why dont we depart from this little corner and take part, the food does look quite amazing and I'm sure theres many flavors I've yet to taste

[member="Renla Skirae"] being the daughter of the star dust was a certain surprise, though thinking the name over once more she was most likely adopted. It was kind of nice to see, perhaps it was due to them both being Twi'lek, not something you saw very often from what he knew. Her focused back onto the princess as she talked to both himself and the two Skirae members.

"I myself wounld't mind a more casual setting, to be honest I never really attended big gatherings like the one here". "I am sure a small word with your father and some help from the church will be more then, I mean someone like you should be more then capable of defending themselves, not sure why they would be all worried". Seemed these days the royal members of some ruling family were often much stronger then any guards they could be given, it was kind of funny to think about it.

Soon he was addressed once again by [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"], "well being the ruler of the planet of party tends to get noticed, though I believe your coronation was during the time when the Free World Coalition was around was it not"? Either way if one was to ask around most people would know the women's name along with many other powerful political figures in the galaxy. "Anyways, yes let us take a small bite and enjoy the evening, we can talk about other gatherings while eating, food won't take care of itself".

yes indeed it was, sadly they broke apart soon after but I managed to keep everything afloat and with that I've gotten to the point I am now under the silver jedi

She hoped that all she had done was noticed partly because of the effort partly because she didnt wish for the planet to just be seen as a party planet but a place of culture. Smiling she nodded and looked to renla wavong for her to follow if she should wish as she would begin to make her way towards the food

oh I agree! I've not eaten much of this planets food and I'm certainly excited to try out the food! If you've any to recommend do so i enjoy trying different things

Renla smiled and nodded in agreement back to [member="Lunara Azure"]. She wished she was used to this sort of thing, but she was always anxious at large social gatherings. Always latching onto familiar faces as soon as she got close. And that was what she did, remaining very close to her adoptive mother [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"]. Almost clinging to her space, standing right behind her. Renla overheard something about a Coalition, glancing around her mother to the woman that was conversing with her.

"You have been part of many groups, haven't you?" she asked to her mother. So far all she knew was of Commenor and a couple of other factions that her mother had been a part of, or still was a part of.

Daleria listened to [member="Theodora"] speak about it all. "The academy they looking after you there? Teaching students or just guarding the place?" She spotted several others of various importance around the room and she would attend to later but right now she had to speak to Theodora. The woman commented on her own clothing and Daleria looked her up and down with a smile. "Now now, you will be fine. Besides you look amazing anyways."

She had a think for a second "But if you really do want a better dress for yourself I have a tailor who owes me a few favours. I could certainly call them in for someone of your grade. After the ball just go to her and tell her I sent you and I'm calling it. She will understand besides I will probably show up after myself just to make sure that she is doing right by you." She smiled taking another drink. "In any case you should go mingle not sulk at the bar." Before heading off herself.
