A Chance Encounter [Feena]

Racking his brain, Zaiden sought any explanation that might make sense. Could she be a past client? No. He would remember working for a councillor. She can't be a target, I've never missed...

"Its actually kind of annoying. I can't place where I know you..." Zaiden murmured and finally looked into the woman's eyes...and his mouth fell open as a flood of images rushed his brain. Of him and a little girl playing..him picking the little girl up and carrying her inside when she hurt her leg...

"We knew each other as kids.." Zaiden murmured even more confused now then before..

Kids? That wasn't right, was it? She never had friends when she was a child. Nobody liked her well enough to play with her. She was too stuck up, too smart for them, better. And her mother didn't want her mixing with any of the servants children either.
But if that was true, then why did she have memories of hiding with a little boy in her fathers library? And where did that memory come from? This was the first time she thought about that.
"Were you, perhaps the son of one of our servants?" she asked doubtfully, looking deep into her glass of wine.

Zaiden sighed shaking his head, "Not likely. You say your father was a noble so I doubt my father would have had any interaction with him as a servant, being well known makes me believe he was not servant class."

Sliding his fingers through his hair, he gave it a little more creative thinking, "Maybe I snuck into your home? As long as none in your house were "sensitive" I could have gotten in." (Sensitive being force of course)

Feena shook her head slowly, taking a little sip of her wine.
"Not likely," she answered setting the glass down, "My mother was a miraluka. If she wasn't sensitive, she would be blind. She would have noticed you in a heart beat."
She bit her lip as she thought.
"And besides," she continued, "I remember a boy that was no more than 3 years old. I doubt a three year old could sneak in."

Zaiden laughed, "Councillor, I could get into your house when I was 3 trust me." Zaiden then stopped instantly as he realized something,, touching just below his right eye, "Miraluka.."

Zaiden realized he might know their connection. In his family he was the only one odd ball, the only one with different eyes.., "No one else in my family has eye mutations like myself..could they be a result of a Miraluka cross species relation...?" He questioned, keeping his eyes downcast.

She looked shocked. Was it even possible? She didn't recall having any relatives. No cousins. No siblings. But, well...
"A DNA test will determine," she replied at once, but somewhere deep inside her, she had a sneaking suspicion that the little boy from her memories was this man sitting at this table.
Fate was a curious thing.

Zaiden could barely contain himself, he knew this woman to be his family. He could feel it..,"Well I will not lie Feena, I wish to take a test if you know anyone that could do it withaccuracy."

He had family again...the feeling raising up from his bones themselves..

"it will be best to go through a more official channel," she replied, "but for expediencies sake, I am qualified to preform the test myselfand the Jedi do have the proper equipment on hand at the temple. I could take a blood sample, run it through and get back to you with the results. Easy."
Well, not easy, exactly, but not hard. She would need assistance to ensure accuracy.

Zaiden nodded, "Lets do it! Do you want me to accompany you? Or wait here? Cause I can help if you need it." He had never been inside the temple...would they even allow him to enter? Knowing what he is?

Zaiden finished his glass of wine, and poured another. Despite being of a much higher class then he was used to, he had to admit the flavor was heavenly.

"No need to rush," she responded holding up a hand, "I can take a blood sample on my ship and test inside the temple."
She poured herself another glass, hands shaking so much that she nearly spilled. If all of what she suspected was true, then her entire life, everythign that she remembered would have to be reexamined.

Zaiden took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, then took another sip, "Sorry. I'm getting a little bit worked up. For years i've been alone, having lost my family in a fire. Now I find I might have a sister..it's kinda heart moving you know? Anyways when you take the blood sample it won't be a LOT will it?"His eyes bbetrayed his feelings about needles, he could be stabbed or shot and laugh in the man's face. But show up with a needle? Your dealing with a 12 year old.

"I take only a little bit, don't worry."
When it came to needles, Feena was a master. She did, after all, spend her younger years as a doctor. She was at home in a sterile hospital environment.
Speaking of home, something else that she remembered struck her as odd. When her father died at last and she went to claim her inheritance, she had only been on his will for half of his fortune. She had wondered who the other half was for...
Of course, she wouldn't mention it until after the DNA test.

(OOC: oh snap! This RP is becoming very beneficiary lmao)

"Good. Cause needles...theyre unnatural and abominable hunks of junk." Zaiden said, clearly flustered by the idea. But then he glanced back at Feena again, and calmed himself. This may be his sister, he needed to be better controlled.

With a sigh, Zaiden spotted his client in the doorway, slowly being led to the table. With a small amount of pressure, Zaiden made the doorman turn the man away saying Zaiden was busy. He shook his head, he had forgotten the reason he came here to begin with..

The woman smiled, almost unable to keep herself from laughing. She was also going to seriously look into her birth records. She'd never had a reason to do that until now, but she supposed it was probably a good idea. Who knew what other little secrets she would find? This family seemed to be full of them.
"So you are a force user as well," she said, ignoring the client that he had turned away, "Tell me more about yourself."

"I spent most of my life, in a field of work usually frowned on. It helped me accommodate a good amount of wealth, but made little friends. In the past few months, I was accepted as a padawan to a Dark Jedi, and have since claimed the rank of Knighthood. I'm an adequate saber duelist, but my real talent lies in force control. One day I wish to say I found all the powers available. But until then i will battle anyone who gets in my way. You?" He said, he believed her to he his sister but he couldn't trust her with his whole story just yet.

The Eternal Queen
Quite the opposite story than her. Still, she wasn't one to judge. She had her own sins.
"Well, when I was young I found myself orphaned," she started, refusing to go into details, "I was taken in by the Jedi. There I trained and studied on many subjects. My life is... fairly drama free. Nothing interesting. I worked my way through medical training, became a fully recognized healer when I was only 18. It was that time that I was also knighted. When I was twenty I married and had two children, a son and daughter. I worked made powerful friends. Worked my way up until I was elected on the Jedi council."

She left a lot out. She left out the drama that she swore she didn't have in her life.
"Well, I did very well and when my term on the Council had ended, I was given the honor of being the eyes and ears of the Jedi Order in the Senate. Unfortunately... my busy professional life made my personal life suffer."

she bit her lip. Some drama could not avoid being talked about.
"But I met someone new. I re-married, had another baby girl. I received the rank of Jedi master and I was very recently asked to serve on the council once again. That's my story so far."

"You've done a lot in a short time. I like it. Determined. Like me." He said with a smile, for the first time in a long time a completely genuine smile. Setting down his glass je leaned back in his seat.

She is a powerful woman indeed, he thought with interest..

The Eternal Queen
Determined. He didn't know the half of it.
"Must be a family trait."
She swirled her wine in her glass watching it. This was something she honestly wanted. Family. An uncle for her children. Someone more for them to know.

Setring his hands on the table, Zaiden said, "Wanna go for a walk? It's kind of stuffy in here. I figure a nice breeza might make the talk better. Maybe that's just me"

Zaiden never did like the atmosphere of these fancy restaurants, only going usually for the clients. He was happy he had come though, meeting someone who could very well be family. Even if she wasn't, he knew she was already his friend.

A walk. She nodded in agreement and motioned for the waiter. When he came by, she handed over her credit card without a word and proceeded to pay.
"Trust me. I've got this one," she said to her companion before he would have a chance to protest.
