A Chance Encounter [Feena]

"Yes ma'am. And don't worry. Just show up, and I won't be far behind. That I can be certain." He said, offering her his hand. That was sufficient for him for now, maybe someday more affection.

"EAG, time to go." He murmured into his collar hidden microphone.

(Hope you don't mind me speeding things up)
Feena spent her next few days while she waited for the results going about as usual. She didn't have long on Coruscant, just a few days then it was back home, but before she went home, there were split ends to trim. She went into her records, her birth records, family records. There were chunks missing even from there. Someone had been through. Someone had done some editing. That was enough to make her suspicious.
But when the results came back, even though she had a pretty good idea, she didn't look at them. She kept the results sealed in an envelope until it came time to meet him.
It was about 10 Am when she appeared at the appointed spot, sitting on a bench in the park. She was dressed in a long green dress, fashionable here, her long black hair hung in braided loops by her ears. In white gloved hands, she held the envelope.

Zaiden spent the time meeting his client, and taking out another target. It took a turn for the worse when his payment did not arrive. He was forced to kill his client, and take a slightly larger sum then originally agreed upon. The man had caused him trouble.

As he was resting in his apartment, EAG murmured into his hood, "Probe Alpha reports Councillor Feena approaches the DZ."

Like lightning he was up and wrapping a cloak around himself to conceal his Demon Armor, climbing the side of the building with an ape like ease he arrived beside EAG.

Throwing a leg over, he sat and quickly punched a few settings into EAG's main acces control panel. He wanted the quickest way to arive at his target. Starting the soft hum of his Lightcycle he gunned the engine and roared off the edge of the roof.

Riding from roof to roof quickly, he eventually dropped to the ground below and slowed into a park. Stepping off the bike he walked to a nearby tree where he leaned with armos crossed. EAG would automatically lock its access panel disabiling any other person from using it.

Within moments he spotted Feena and approached her like a ghost, sitting next to her silently on the bench. "Hello councillor. How has your time since last we met been?"

And there he was. Just on time. She hadn't even needed to tell him. How did he know? No matter.
She smiled, handing over the envelope. Positive or not, he gave her something to look for. She needed to find the reason of those holes in her records. She had to find who that boy was. If it was him and they weren't related, then who was he?
"I've been busy, but at last, here it is. Would you do the honors?"

Zaiden nodded accepting the honor and opened the envelope. Drawing the paper oit, he read it and smiled, "It says it's positive..." He murmured..

His life had a little liht again. He couldn't believe the mix of emotions rising up. From the very bottom of his soul it felt.

And just like that, it clicked into place. Positive. Their blood tests confirmed what she already knew just from one night of talking.
At once she turned and threw her arms around him.
"...How old are you?" she asked suddenly, as something occurred to her. The boy in her memories, her brother, was always close to her in age.

"30." He replied, sitting back still in shock. He wondered how he would handle this in the long run. It was a feeling he had not had in a long time..

30. She was 30. If they were siblings.
"Twins? How... cliche!"
She pulled her arms away with a little laugh. This would be different. All this time she'd assumed that the boy was just her imaginary friend. She'd even forgotten about him! And now he was here. Her childhood protector.
"When I tell my husband he's going to laugh so hard! Always on about his stories... what a plot twist this is!"

Zaiden chuckled with a nod, "That it is. That it is. Where should we go from here?"

He didnt know what a really family relationship was like anymore.

She quietly considered that. There was a lot of catching up to do. He missed so much. Her life was not well documented, but she did have recordings of her children growing up. And her wedding too. He should see that. But first....
"From a legal standpoint, I suppose this information should be on record. At least, so you could collect your inheritance."

"Inheritance? From who?" He said S he stood, taking it as she meant to leave. His cloak made him hot, especially wearing armor so he constantly stretched his collar.

She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly. Oh, that was right. He had no idea, did he?
"Father did not forget about you when he died," she answered, "I was only allowed half of the family fortune, but I was not allowed to see the will so I never knew who would get the other half. I always wondered..."
She smiled, reaching out to place her hand on his shoulder.
"Now I know. I must be you!"

Zaiden felt his brows furrow, his father must not have been a part of his sale to Maxwell...the man must have wondered where Zaiden had went, and of course his mother pretended dumb. They probably denied Zaiden's existence to feena to protect her. His real father must have hoped him alive and that he would return.

"I guess we can look into it. I hope it means our father didn't have anything to do with selling me." Zaiden said, "Where do we go to check into that?"

She shrugged, for once, entirely unsure. Father. Father had always been so kind. There was no way he could have known! He must have figured that he was a run away. That must have been it. She could not ever bring herself to think bad of her father. He was the only bright light in her childhood. The only one she could remember clearly, anyway.
"I can't be sure. I can research it. I have friends in high places here. If I can't find out, then they certainly can. We will fix this."

Zaiden nodded, "Sounds good. Either way, it simply allows closure for our father by looking into completing his will. Wanna get started on that or got something else in mind?"

Closure. He was right. This was closure.
"I will have to get to that later. As of right now... I think that if you have the time, I would like you to meet my family. Your family too now."

Zaiden smiled and nodded, "I'd like that. So let's go meet the family...oh wait. Do you have transport? I only came on my bike.." he said, almost walking to his bike without asking how she intedned to leave making him feel bad.

She smiled, rising to her feet,
"I will have to pack up my hotel and check out early," she said, "but I can call for a transport. Have you much to pack? Do keep in mind that it is no short trip. If you are going to come to visit, I recommend you try to stay more than a few days to make the trip worth it."

"Yeah I have enough for a couple days. So I guess I'll meet you back here after I've gathered my things." He said.

"Understood."
She paused for a moment, threw her arms around him like the excited little girl she felt today, then backed off at once.
"You won't run away, right?"
But she knew he wouldn't. She tossed her brother a brilliant smile and hurried away, as fast as a Lady would ever dare go. She caught the first cab she could find and went back to her hotel.
As she packed, gowns, shoes, jewels, she sent off a quick frantic message to her husband at home.

I am coming home early. Prepare a guest room.
