A Credit Saved, is a Credit Earned

Jed knew things couldn't go so well for long. But he was prepared, there were 20 V2 Commando droids on the luxury liner. 2 of them were already activated, the rest were in the cargo hold. Quickly he excused himself from the table,

"I am so sorry for this intrusion [member="Lady Kay"] but if you and your guard would follow me that would be wonderful."

Jed pushed through the incoming waiter droids until he reached the nearest control panel. Hurriedly he turned on the intercom of the ship,

"Captain, who are these pirates?"

"I don't know Mr. Kerkov."

"Well can we counter attack them with the laser cannons? Or can we try to escape to hyperspace again? Anyways, at least activate the V2s, if they board we need to be ready."

"Yes of course sir."

As soon as the hail was made, Lady Kay's bodyguard was already on the move towards his charge. He got her to her feet as she just wasn't moving fast enough for him. The Jedi kept hold of her case as they followed Jed, hearing his suggestions.

"What about your escort vessels? Surely they could cover our escape through hyperspace?"

Kay did not want to lose her credits to anyone, least of all a pirate.

Cadan licked his lips, this is what he liked. He looked to one of the pirates at the firing station. "I want their hyperdrive gone, then their engines."

Both the corvette's began to unleash a barrage of lasers towards Jed's ship in an attempted to disable the hyperdrive or at least damage it.

[Jed Kerkov]

The ship's shields held up for a few valuable moments before giving away and letting the corvettes damage the hyperdrive. Luckily the engines were only slightly damaged thanks to the Captain's wit.

Inside the bowels of the Luxury Liner the V2s awakened inside, separating into squads of four patrolling the ship. They were preparing for any infiltration into the ship. These droids weren't cheap to maintain, and finally they were going to serve their purpose.

Jed turned to look at [member="Lady Kay"] as the ship rumbled back and forth as they barrage of lasers came at the liner,

"The Freighters are still on their way to Antar IV, they left after us on a different course. But don't worry, if they even try to infiltrate my V2's will exterminate any pirates that enter the ship."

He hoped those droids would work, he really hoped they would.

Cadan held up his hand, and the bombardment stopped. Again he open up comms to the ship. "Now who may I be talking to?" As his voice came over the comms, it was calm and steady. Cadan liked to thing he was playing with his food, trying to mess with their minds.

He pulled a cigar from his top pocket and placed it into his mouth, letting the smoke hover around his face.

Jed thought for a second before answering,

"I am Jed Kerkov, head of the Banking Federation." Jed grimaced, "Son of William Kerkov, Fleet Admiral of the OCA. But let me tell you once and only once, I hate that man. So don't you go comparing him to me or even mentioning him in my presence. But I have more important matters than that. Now why don't you and your privateers leave me and my guest to business before I make this regrettable for all of you."

Jed stepped back from the panel and looked over at [member="Lady Kay"],

"Follow me to the bridge, I've gotta plan."

Cadan nodded as he pulled the cigar from his mouth so he could speak clearly. "Ah yes the OCA, I am very aware of them. Now how about you Jed was it? Hand over anything of value and I don't tell your father of the naughty little boy you have been? Sound fair?"

Cadan gave a small nod to his gunners, without warning they began to fire at the ship engines, hoping to disable them.

Cadan opened up his comm to Thraxis. "Thraxis, I need you in the bridge now if you don't mind."

He then opened a comm to Tiali. "Tiali, we will begin boarding shorty, make sure your ready."

[Jed Kerkov]

The laser fire tore through the engines, making it impossible to escape without repair. But this did not trouble Jed, for he had a plan.
Jed decided he was done controlling the scene from the small panel,

"Lady Kay, follow me. It is time to head to the bridge."

Jed hurried through the corridors passing one of the V2 squads, he tried to make sure they would reach it on time.

This was not good. Why did he let his escorts go elsewhere and leave them unprotected? That was a dumb move on his part, but she'll blame that on his age and inexperience. She steadied herself as the ship shook from the damage instilled upon it. This whole ship could be of value to them on the black market.

Kay followed Jed while on his way to the bridge, her bodyguard in tow. She hoped that his Commando droids would work as well. "I have a bad feeling about this...." She couldn't help but sound so cliche as it was true.

Jed turned around and gave [member="Lady Kay"] a grin,

"Don't worry, each squad of these Commandos could take down a company of soldiers in the clone wars, I doubt some pirates could take us. All you should worry about is if we are going to be late."

Cadan looked to the pirate in charge of shooting and opened a comm to the priate in charge of the other Corvette. "This seems a but too easy. Pepper them with fire, try not to damage them too much."

Both Corvettes began to fire at the ship, not to much to damage it. More so just playing with the ship.

Cadan opened a comm to Jed. "So how would you like this to happen. We blow up your ship, board and kill everyone or just leave you stranded? Your choice." Cadan continued to pace the bridge of his ship, waiting for a response.

Jed liked this man, he had style, something rare in this galaxy,

"Oh, how about option number B with a side of Jogan fruit. Besides this ship is worth much more to you intact than it is blasted to pieces."

He turned off the Commlink in the Bridge for a second, the pepper fire from the cruisers was battering the shields of the main hull. They had recharged when Jed had stalled with [member="Cadan Tazi"] and this time the captain diverted all power to the shields. They wouldn't hold for too much longer but they were doing the job for now.

"Board and kill everyone? We will have an someone with you in just a moment." Cadan cut the connection with Jed then turned to his gunner. "I want their communications gone."

The Corvettes began to fire upon the communications array on the ship, hoping to either disable or damage the array.

Cadan marched down to the docking pay as the ship began to position itself to board.

The ship lurched, but alas the Comms Ray was hit. Shorting out the systems of the antenna. Jed was not happy about this but it would not be a complication. He looked at the captain hoping to hear some good news,

"Mr. Kerkov the Comms are disabled but we could easily repair them if we could exit the ship safely. So we have no hope of contacting anyone until the pirates leave."

"Ok then, this will not be to problematic to my plan, Co-Pilot get me the Commando Commander on the intercom now."

"Ok Mr. Kerkov, Here it is."

"This is Commander 2476263, what are our orders?"

"Commander 63, have 12 of your droids defend the entry points of the ship, bring the rest to defend the bridge. Understood?"

"Yes sir."

Perfect, Jed thought. The second the doors open those pirates will have fallen into his trap. Before they can even realize what's happened those droids he had would terminate them. Then Phase II would begin of his plan. But that remained to be seen, as long as the first part went without a hitch everything would be fine.

Well, so much for option B. The pirates clearly had their own plan in mind. But no matter. Jed sure seemed pretty confident. Perhaps he had a bunch of ideas to thwart their pursuers. Either way, Kay needed to protect herself in case they were boarded.

"Jed dear, should they happen to board us and get through your Commando's, well, I most certainly wouldn't want to be held for ransom. So be a gentleman and don't look while I get changed?"

She didn't really wait for an answer. Kay dug into her satchel and brought out her spare casual clothes which consisted of trousers and a top, then hid behind her bodyguard as she quickly got changed. The guard's Olympian armour ( http://starwarsrp.net/topic/59172-acs-004-olympian-battle-armor/) was big enough to provide enough cover for her modesty. A few moments later, her dress was packed inside of her satchel with the bag once again secured over her shoulder. She then brought her hair back into a braid before stepping out, case in hand. "Now, I don't think that my face is well known yet, and you only told them that you had a guest. So how about I be your cousin for a bit, hmm?"

Jed looked away as [member="Lady Kay"] undressed, "Well you are very sociable."

"Yes that is a good plan, besides count in me and my droids, they haven't failed me yet."

Jed was a little surprised in her doubts of him, but nonetheless he was sure they would not fail them. Because there was no other defense besides the bodyguard.

[Thraxis]

Thraxis would be getting a little on edge, as was his men, they had been forced to hold their ground in the docking bay, starting to grumble and mumble amongst themselves, Thraxis was starting to get worried that there would soon be an uproar. "[member="Cadan Tazi"], where are you now? The men are starting to get a tad twitchy with their trigger fingers." Thraxis would wisper, trying to make sure his men didnt overhear him.

[Tiali Orazio]

Air sprays from the air lock connection into the vacuum of space disconnecting from the corvette. The D15 mantis patrol craft spins off speeding towards the other ship. Its flickering engine illuminating the dreary devoid of space.

Tiali Scans the ship for a weaker hull upon finding it he begins to fly towards it dodging the Some blaster rounds.He stops above the weaker hull extending his air lock with inbuilt laser cutters.

They shine bright red beginning to cut into the ships hull making an impormtu entrance into a random corridor.

"R9 be ready to take over for a while."

The fact that Jed's shielding systems weren't the greatest was a little unnerving. Even on diplomatic vessels, if they weren't well equipped with weaponry, then their shielding systems tended to be top notch. But not in this case. Jed seemed to be relying only on his untested Commando droids.

Alarm bells began to sound off as the hull had been breached, snapping Kay's bodyguard to square off against the door. He raised his right arm and activated the wrist rocket system, telling his charge to stay behind him. Anyone going through that door that proved to be hostile would get a lovely little rocket in the face.

Kay stayed behind as instructed. There was a reason that she alone held the case for her deposit for it was lighter than it should be. Instead of the 5 million credits she said she'd deposit, it contained the 16,000 to buy her membership into the board of directors, plus another 25,000 to hold her account until the rest could be deposited later. She wasn't that stupid to bring a large amount of money on her with just one escort. Speaking of, once her boss finds out about this she was sure that she'd never be able to go out anywhere without full protection again. Either that or he'd fire her. Hard to tell at the moment.

Kay was glad to have her satchel with her as well. She had a small blaster in it and her lightsaber, though she didn't want to reveal herself as a Jedi unless there was no other choice. And with the way things seemed to be going, it was looking like she was soon going to have to do so.

The Corvette began to attach itself to the ship. It's docking tube connecting to the other one. Two pirates began to cut their way through the door.

Cadan arrived at this moment, not needing to use his comm to speak with Thraxis. "There will probably be strong resistance. Make sure your ready"

Cadan wore Red Raven Shot Caller Armor, the armor looked like it was kept in the best condition, with only a few cuts and scrapes on it, it also had The Jackals logo on the left breast plate. Wrapping itself around his armor was a brown trench coat, the coat itself was once a fine piece of fabric, but now it was almost as run down as an old slave. The coat was severely burnt and carried multiple bullet holes and stains. Strapped to his right thigh was a DL-18, the words "Sunshine" could bee seen sketched into the handle. He wore two wrist mounted weapons, on his left wrist a M99 Rocket system and on his right a CZ Wrist-Mounted Flame Projector. A Red Raven Gauss Rifle equipped with an Augmented Shooting Tool, was strapped around Cadan's back viaa leather strap.

He had a group of 10 pirates standing next to him, aswell as how much Thraxis had.

Cadan opened a comm to Tiali. "Hunter, start the assault now. What ever loot you find is yours. Execpt the ship, that's ours."
