A Crystal's Calling. (Cixi, Seth, and Yuroic)

Yuroic patted his akk wolf as he watched the Padawans pet and enjoy the company of their two akk dogs, smaller in size compared to the wolf. "Do you not think a non-sentient animal can communicate distress? I think there are plenty of animals that can communicate within their species in ways we cannot." Yuroic stated his observation when he lived in the wild of how the animals interacted amongst themselves. "Sentience is not intelligence, it is about feelings and the ability to understand and express them. These akk dogs can do that, they are Force Sensitive, every single one. These are animals with the Force flowing through them, it is amazing to behold."

Watching as they began to observe the animals and began to understand them better. "Climb onto their backs, time to ride them. To ride them you need to use Beast Control, because that is the only way to get them to do what you want. I haven't trained these animals, they don't run with you squeeze your legs or turn to the tap of your hand. This is where your mind and theirs needs to become one. They react when you want them to." It was a thrill to ride on the back of one and race at full speed. Minds so in sync it was like you were moving through the forests at those speeds.

"Place your hand on their heads, tell them your intentions to ride them. Express your good natures and gentle souls. Tell them to trust you, to allow you to ride them. Then, when you know they are ready jump on their backs." Yuroic informed, he placed a hand on the top of his akk wolf's head and for a moment nothing but then it lowered to the ground and allowed Yuroic to climb onto its back. "Now, I want you to tell them walk slowly around the clearing from here." Demonstrating what to do once more, the akk wolf walked around with Yuroic stroking its head appreciatively.

[Seth Brackson]

Seth stared at the creature near him. Studying it quite curiously as he patted it a few more times. Then like instructed he moved to the front of the akk wolf. Looked up to the creature. Then placed his hand to the forehead and closed his eyes. He focused q bit and stuck his tongue out for a moment. Before he seemed to click with the creatures mind.

Seth understood survival instincts. So, common ground wasn't hard to find. As well as Seth had a natural liking for animals. Even if it wasn't the cup of tea [member="Cixi Lu"] would be most pleased about. As such it was quite an effortless task for Seth to help the creature understand. He would look out for the creatures well being, as long as the creature looked out for his. Both sides benefitted from the agreement.

Seth encouraged the creauture to let him hop on. It gave a slight shake. Before with a little more calming. Relaxing while Seth climbed onto the back. Seth watched Yuroic and then looked to the creature. Tilting his head in the direction of Yuroic's creature. ~Please walk in a circle?~ Seth encouraged. The response was a ~Why?~ type of vibe. To which Seth blinked and looked to the creature. ~It is what I need you to do for now? Couldn't hurt?~ Seth responded.

Him and the creature exchanged simple dialogue like that. The creature expressing through emotion, Seth expressing through intention. Soon enough the creature did finally decide if even for the sake of appeasing Seth for a moment. To walk along in a circle. While Seth looked around for something. "Hmmm..." Seth hummed. Tempted to let the dog go on a hunt.

[Cixi Lu]

To take a foggy mind and change it, direct it - that was something Cixi had done before, several times in fact. It was a medical must, almost. She'd never ridden a patient, however.

She bade its mind be still and blank as she straddled its shoulders, preparing its mind to be written on by her own commands.

She had it entirely how she wished it now, and gave it her command, as instructed - telling the animal exactly what to do.

Once it had taken its la around the edge of the clearing, she stood off the beast and faced its eyes. With a single touch to its forehead, she allowed it to take the rest it desired.

"Apologies, it had no desire to continue with the day so I gave it sleep," she spoke aloud.

Yuroic watched the pair and nodded his head as they progressed well with the animals. "Good, you are doing well." When Cixi jumped off hers and sent the animal to sleep, Yuroic raised an eyebrow, it was quite an odd act. "Surprising that as the akk dogs don't need lots of sleep, they were breed to be working animals so they have need for lots of exercise due to high energy levels." Yuroic commentated.

"Well, unless you wish to try bonding with the other one, afraid you won't be able to do the next task." Yuroic stated in a polite tone, the decision was hers but he had the impression that this was not her type of class. "I was going to suggest you and Seth race to the top of the waterfall, there is a path that leads straight there but only one who knows the area will be able to find it. The akk dogs will know it but you must decipher and understand what they are saying, all while running through the forest."

It was a challenge but challenges and competitions were never bad when done in good faith. It allowed them to be pushed and see how much they progressed since the start of the lesson. "I will see you two at the top." He sent a message to his akk wolf and speed off into the woods, disappearing from sight.
