A Duel of Episode 3 Proportions

"I'd probably go for the Force-spawn: it seems safe enough for it to work on you. That said, from what I can make out, you still need a DNA sample from me to get the process started. Facilities doing Force-spawns often take a few cells from the biological parent and proceed to make alterations based on that"

Force-spawn required, as its name indicates, the usage of the Force. Even if one of the biological parents didn't need to be Force-sensitive, it still required midichlorian manipulation, as well as a feel for the genetic parameters of the resulting child. Now, one would say that Darth Vader was a product of that: it is still a topic of debate whether it was Plaugeis or the Force itself that initiated the process leading to Vader's birth. But having the child itself would be beneficial to one's mental health? She heard that from Togrutas, full-blooded Omwati... now it became clear that [member="Summer Sovereign"] is more Omwati than Dathomirian, and not simply because of her blue skin or her intellectual composition (which is nothing to scoff at, but by Omwati standards, nothing remarkable, from what she knew about it) or even how important is family loyalty to her. Now that was one process that she could get onboard with.

"Alright when can we get this thing started?" She asked very curious. It is true that she had always been told she was a Omwati at her core, family always came first for her. She also looked exactly like Omwati, she looked at Jessica and smiled, she knew the healing process was just beginning for her mind.

"Let me check the directory of assisted reproduction facilities capable of handling Force-spawn, and I'll get back to you afterward"

From what she knew about it, Force-spawn was mostly used to create clones of Force-users, but, unlike cloning, it couldn't be used to mass-produce clones, due to the necessity of natural wombs and hence of a living mother, even a surrogate one (especially in the case where the original template is a dead person). Also it had to be used with Force-sensitives, which means that either proof of Force-sensitivity is required or, for those original templates who never took Force-sensitivity tests in their lives, such tests have to be administered to the original template. Luckily she kept the certificate of Force-sensitivity Cathul produced for those bureaucratic occasions where she needed a medical certificate of Force-sensitivity for some reason. As she would expect, the best Force-spawn clinics are expensive and often charge as much as nine months' worth of salary for an average Jedi padawan. But [member="Summer Sovereign"] was ready to fork over that sort of cost, and she knew it.
