The Flesh Of Fallen Angels
The music had stopped playing and the flame that was sorrounding them dissipated into the air in one brief movement, the two of them holding hands and looking at their eyes closely as if their souls were meeting in one single action. It was the first time in a long time that Ar'ekk felt like this, not many people had the chance to strike him as Aevan did right now and that was something worthy of mentioning. Both stood there upclose in complete silence until either one of them broke that with a simple mention of words.

"That's where I am from. It's the place I used to call home once." There was more time to talk about himself later but the only thing that mattered in that moment was them. Not wanting to go through with the conversation, the young Jedi offered a smile to Aevan.

Ar'ekk moved a piece of hair that had gotten in her face in a gentle manner, his hand caressing her soft cheeks slowly. He was lost in her beautiful crystal clear blue eyes and her enchanting demeanor. Could this be just a dream? Was this real?

So many questions yet so little answers. Were they really needed? Perhaps not. What he did know is that something urged him to do but was unsure. The Force trembled between the two, she could feel it as well. A soothing yet strange sensation, something they never experienced before. It was a spark, maybe. The fire, the burning sun. All of it. Warmth. Care. Trust.

Love?

There was very little space separating them now. Holding hands and letting the music end in the background, their eyes locked. He answered her question about where he was from, but clearly didn't want to talk about origins right now. He gave her a small smile and the silence filled the room again.

Letting go of one of her hands, he raised his to caress her cheek as he gently brushed some of the stray hairs that had fallen in front of her face as they danced. The warmth of his finger tips felt nice against her slightly chilled skin, warming the path up for a few moments. Not only did it warm her skin, but it gave Aevan an internal warmth quite similar to what the stew had done earlier.

This was different though, instead of in her stomach it was both lower and higher. There wasn't quite a fluttering in her gut, but a tingling feeling and her heart that had been so cold and chilled was warm to him.

Of its own accord, her hand went up to touch the area on her cheek where his hand touched her. If it was still there, her hand would be there on top keeping it there. The silence was no longer awkward in anyway, but she had nothing to say. It was her turn to be speechless.

The exchange of coy smiles and tight embracing made the situation a lot less awkward and much more romantic, if you could say that. As the raindrops pressed against the windows and how warm Aevan's dwelling felt, it felt like they were touching the sky. His hand remained to caress her cheek and she placed hers on top, holding it tightly. Ar'ekk's heartbeat had gone from relaxed to slightly altered due to this interaction with Aevan, a warm feeling flooding his whole body and mind.

They were both speechless at that moment because no words were needed for what was going on in that instant. Everything felt like a ever lasting dream of some sorts, those you wake up from in the morning and wonder why it ended so soon, feeling so bad after. They moved closer to each other as the evening continued to go on, just staring into their eyes and smiling like complete dorks.

Slowly, the young Jedi moved forward and went ahead with what he's been thinking of doing for a few minutes now: Kiss her. He pressed his lips against hers in a gentle manner, careful, soft.

Whatever her reaction was this was the best sensation someone like him could ever feel. This was the equivalent of reaching paradise to him, nothing else mattered in that moment. Extreme happiness, yes. More than that.

Aevan's breath was caught in her throat. So close and touching, unexpected by her, but all natural. Her thoughts and feelings were in a whirl. Nothing was solid within her. Her conscious mind focused on Ar'ekk. What was he? What future did they have, if any? Did she love him already? Not having felt it before, Aevan had no answer to that question.

Her hand not holding his to her face went to wrap around his body, in doing, she pulled him closer. There was no space separating them anymore. He moved in and ever so gently gave her the first kiss she had. It may have been her imagination, but within it she felt care. Not the harsh or course lust that had been directed at her by that man in the cantina.

She returned his kiss naturally. Though what she felt for him was still undecided, Aevan knew this was right. How long it lasted she had no clue, but she didn't want it to end. At that moment, the woman knew that even if she didn't love him now, they were meant to be. Settling deep within her, she knew this.

Doing what was natural, the hand that held his kept hold of it. Pulling it away from her cheek, she would take a few steps. The whole time, she looked at him and then turned, tugging him gently to follow her upstairs to where her room was.

After the most special night of their lives, Aevan and Ar'ekk woke up together with the sunlight touching down on their faces as the rain disappeared magically throughout the night. It was a bright skyblue day outside and the weather went from uber cold to a cool yet hot which made it very enjoyable for those who liked these type of temperatures.

He left Aevan sleep in the commodity of her own bed as he stepped out, his torso remained shirtless due to obvious reasons and walked towards the window next to their resting place. Everyone outside walked back and forth, living their own life and following a certain itinerary, the sunrays laying upon his wounded face.

The young Jedi looked back at his lover sleeping in the bed, a wide smile forming for such a beautiful view. She was perfect in his eyes.

He stood there for a couple of minutes until she would eventually wake up since after all Aevan was pretty tired due to the dancing, eating and everything else that happened that night.
