Lord of the Diarchy

While the apprentice had been eating, Reign had been negotiating. He wanted, no needed, Bastion to further his plans on the galactic stage. The Governor had been adamant about Bastion's citizens being looked after or else there would be no further discussion. Something Reign could agree with easily.
He smiled at the imposing man, saying "My friend, the people of Bastion would no longer just be citizens of this great planet, they would be citizens of the Diarchy, my brothers and sisters.. my children.. I would die before I let them come to harm"
He threw a brief look over his shoulder at the young togruta, hoping he caught the allusion to their previous conversation about family. Before turning his attention back to the official in front of him.
Korden smiled back at the Diarch, although it was not nearly as open or friendly as Reign's had been, more a return of a gesture followed by a grim understanding. He spoke, his voice disciplined.
"While I hope it will never come to that, just know that if you look after Bastion, Bastion will look after you. We take care of our own, and should these talks continue as they have, we hope that you will make this place your home... both of you"
