A meeting of minds

Asaraa tightened her grip on the man's shoulder, squeezing it for a moment before she let go, smiling at him before taking a small sip of her drink. "You're a soldier," she allowed, "it's tough and I'm not sure that I could do it, obey orders like that but I can respect you for that." The woman raised her flask to him, "That discipline is something I never had."

Asaraa glanced down at the flask in her hands...the now empty flask in her hands as she shook her head, a small smile on her face as she crewed on the stopper and handed it back to the man. "A lot more powerful than I expected," she admitted, "but it vanished a lot faster than I expected too. It's almost like magic."

Asaraa shook her head, fingers idly pulling at her robs, straightening them out over her frame as she looked up at him and shook her head. "I'm headed back out tomorrow, so I just figured I could find somewhere to spend the night," the young woman gave him a smile, "It can't be that hard right?"

"Well," Asaraa looked up, a grin pasted across her face as she inclined her head at Silence, "I'm never going to turn down an offer of a free bed." She glanced around at the other troopers before looking back at him, "Are the rest of them going to be ok with that?"

Asaraa followed Silence's gaze to the other troopers milling around the barracks, his attitude being a smile to her lips. "Well, with an offer like that, who'm I to turn down my guardian trooper like that. Thanks...I wasn't looking forward to the search if I'm completely honest."

"Well," the women held up a single finger, "you saved my life in the fight," a second finger rose, "and you're giving me a place to stay for the night." She grinned and reached out for the sandwich, "That pretty much qualifies as a guardian in my books."

The Togruta blinked owlishly at the man, her mouth opening as if to speak and then closing as she pointed a finger at him and laughed, a rueful cast to her face as she nodded, "Exactly...remember what I said about not thinking things through properly?"

Asaraa glanced around the barracks, a smile playing across her lips, "I think I can handle them, you know unless anyone here has a habit of bringing a rocket launcher to bed with them," she looked around curiously, "you guys don't bring grenades with you do you?"
