Lady X smirked as the young man she’d convinced to do her jobs still thought he could hide his devoted bond to the Chiss girl. It was admirable that he tried so she wouldn’t put a damper on him just yet. The Chiss was disappointed that the ruined shirt attracted the attention of the young man. Perhaps Lady X would try her best to find intriguing attire that he would find nearly as attractive. The Chiss openly flirted with Sorr, the first time that either of them had not tried to hide it. This made Lady X’s smile widen.

“I will have Dr. Trip-0 do something to stabilize the ankle,” Lady X said with a nod. “Maym. Go find the young lady a change of clothes. Check with Myria. I’m sure she has an idea of what is lying around.”

She turned her attention to Sorr, “You wish to have advanced knowledge of your destinations?” Lady X hummed. “You are going to plot the best routes. Are you some sort of genius or did you have a droid hidden away in your pocket I couldn’t detect?” She gave a bit of a laugh. “Doesn’t matter. I have no reason to hide the location of your jobs. The first will be Manaan. A simple pick up of some medical supplies. Then Khomm for something that I’d appreciate being kept confidential, so no peeking. Lastly to Corellia. I have a friend at a Chem Lab there that is giving me a good price on some bulk stims that are going out of code.”​

"I need to chart a path," Sorr said placing Tiaza down and allowing her to cling on to his leg. "I gotta make sure to take the safest route possible, the Galaxy is at war you know?"

For what felt like the billionth time.

"The Galactic Alliance will be looking to confiscate goods and the Brotherhood will just flat out destroy my ship." Sorr said shrugging before frowning. "Sounds like a simple trip," he said. "I'll go."

Tiaza cringed slightly as Lady X sent her small furry servant to retrieve new clothing. She wasn't sure if the inclusion of a second person made her feel better. At least they didn't say to ask the Togruta. She seemed like the type to wear something much more risqué than what Tiaza was willing to wear. The Chiss gave a sigh, what was the worst they could bring? And how long would she have to wear it if she hated it? Just til they were away on the ship.

Lady X rather easily gave up the information that Sorr was looking for, thought she answered his reasoning with a bit of sarcasm. Sorr either didn't notice or didn't care to acknowledge it. He placed Tiaza down as he continued the discussion. She gave a disappointed groan and hugged Sorr's leg. This time as she wrapped her arms around his legs it was just because it felt good to be so close. She didn't feel as scared as any other time that Sorr had released her, just wanted to maintain that contact.

When Sorr officially accepted Tiaza gave a smile and squeezed his legs a bit tighter. "While we wait what should we do about a meal? I would prefer a place to sit down to that little room."​

Lady X smiled and gave a nod to Sorr after he agreed to the jobs. He didn't have much choice and Lady X would make him see that if she had to, but this way was much more agreeable to her. She had other fights to take care of.

"Very good young man," the Falleen woman hummed. "That is the wise choice. I will show you I can be a very good contact to have."

She turned her attention to the Chiss girl and smiled. "I will have my Gladiator accompany you to the mess. I am afraid the cook is not quite gourmet, but he is passable. With my Gladiator there if Kig's crew is present they won't try anything."

The Gladiator gave a silent nod of his head and moved towards the door waiting for Sorr and Tiaza to follow.​

Sorr nodded placing his hand on Tiaza's slender shoulders. He loved it when she hugged his legs, it made him feel more confident in himself. That he knows that there's someone always on his side rooting for him, taking comfort in Sorr. The large Gladiator approached Sorr and Tiaza motioning them to follow him. Sorr gave a curt nod while picking up Tiaza. "Thank you, Lady X," Sorr said. "I won't let you down but after I'm done with my job, the Chiss and I will leave your service."

He looked down at Tiaza hoping that he was saying the right things. Hopefully she could give him comfort.

Sorr's hand came down on Tiaza's shoulder as the conversation seemed to come to an end. She gave a calm purr at the gentle touch and leaned her cheek against the back of Sorr's hand.

Lady X'a large armored servant approached and Sorr bent down to pick Tiaza up again. The young Chis lovingly placed her head on Sorr's shoulder and hoped she hadn't made a mistake in asking to go to the mess.

Sorr thanked Ladyy X and said he would only stay in her employ until their deal was done. Tiaza smiled when he mentioned her leaving as well.

"Yes thank you m'Lady," Tiaza followed Sorr's statement. "And if you could have Maym leave the clothes in our quarters that would be great."​

It was cute that the young ones thought that she would let her fangs out from them when this negotiated term was complete. That wasn't how Lady X worked, but with this young man she thought earning his trust was a better choice than threats and violence.

She merely nodded at the thanks given by her "guests" and waved Gladiator to show them off. The armored man made his way out of the throne room and down a different hallway than they had taken to get to the assigned quarters. They came into a cozy but surprisingly posh eating room. Gladiator motioned for them to sit at an empty table and then went to fetch plates.

Two other tables were filled with eaters. The Aqualish and Duwotin are together at one and the three female crew members at the other. The Captain was absent at the moment. After a short time Gladiator returned with two plates and two glasses. Lady X hadn't lied. It was far from gourmet, but the smell was pleasing. The drink was not a common blend, but alcohol of some sort was definitely part of it. Once the meal was delivered the bodyguard backed away to give space, but stayed visible so the marauders knew he was there.​

A smile formed on Sorr's face when Tiaza purred in his ear. "I can get used to your purrs," Sorr whispered making sure that Lady X didn't see them. "Definitely love it when you purr it's comforting." He kissed Tiaza on the forehead hoping that Lady X didn't see them. She probably knew that they cared deeply for each other, but Sorr wanted to keep the facade. Sorr approached the empty table making sure to put Tiaza on his lap.

"You want to sit on a chair?" Sorr whispered to Tiaza. "Or do you want to sit on my lap? The food here though looks pretty good not going to lie."

Tiaza blushed wildly when Sorr said he loved when she purred. It was mostly merely a reaction to how comfortable and safe he made her feel. She guessed that was what made people fit together that they made each other happy, safe and comfortable without having to give thought to it.​

The kids on her forehead only served to deepen the shade of purple that dusted the young Chiss' cheeks. She could feel that Sorr was nervous to show their affection, but Tiaza was past that. At least in front of Lady X the Falleen had proven to be quite observant there was no way she didn't know what was developing between her two "guests".

When they arrived at the mess hall Tiaza was relieved when Gladiator gave them space after giving them their meal. Sorr asked if she would be comfortable sitting in her own chair. After he sat down with her on his lap.

"I would much rather stay here," she admitted with a little less enthusiastic purr than usual. It wasn't because she was really happy to sit in his lap and stay close, but because she was a little nervous to admit it and scared how it might look to the marauders sitting nearby. After all her ankle was no reason to need to sit on his lap.

"It smells good too," Tiaza commented on the food. "Let's enjoy it and then rest up for tomorrow's adventure."​

The Aqualish and Duwotin barely noticed Sorr and Tiaza. They were not responsible for those two any longer and were only concerned with the meals and drink in front of them.

The girls on the other hand seemed very interested in the new diners. Dixi, the Togruta, flared at them. She was a peculiar one. Sometimes happy go lucky and others just angry. Like if someone else was happy and she had nothing to top theirs it made her mad. It was obvious Sorr and Tiaza's closeness made her jealous in some way.

Bang Bang, the Rodian, only seemed to notice that Dixi noticed. She started talking to Dixi and pointing over in the couple's direction. As if trying to convince Dixi not to be mad.

The third woman, the Duro, just stared. She looked more curious than angry. She was the calm one of the bunch, but her stare could be unsettling. Whatever the three thought of things they were content to sit and let Sorr and Tiaza eat in peace for now.​

Sorr smiled at Tiaza looking at the food. "Here's a Chicken Leg," he said taking a leg and giving it to her. "Want me to feed you Tiaza?" the young man whispered. "I think it's best to spoil you rotten while we get ready for tomorrow."

He gave a nervous chuckle. "So purr once for yes." Sorr said his smile growing wide though a bit shaky. "Or purr twice for no."

Tiaza gave the offered chicken leg a tilt of her head. The stiff Chiss independence in her wanted to refuse. The teen girl infatuated with the young man offering saw it not as a sign of degradation, but of devotion and support. She gave a giggle when Sorr told her how to answer the question. He loved to hear her purr, so if she disappointed him by rejecting the food at least he would get two of those sounds.

Tiaza gave a single purr and leaned forward to take a bite of the chicken leg still in Sorr's hand. "Be careful," she added with a giggle. "You don't want to make a girl too spoiled. Make sure you are always getting something in return." She gave wink before taking another bite.​

Sorr nodded trying to calm himself down, even though he was so in love with Tiaza he had to get to Nar Shadda and fast. Still Tiaza's purring was alluring to the ear. "I am getting something in return," Sorr said eating some Mashed Potatoes with his free hand. "I get to hear your wonderful purring, be nice to hear it all the time."

The young man shook his head as he continued to eat. "Let's just hope that we can get these jobs done," he said. "I really want to go Nar Shadda and get of Rory."

He paused frowning. "Unless we can somehow convince Lady X to get rid of him for us. Well...... not kill him but have him leave us alone."

Tiaza giggled at the thought of being able to get things by merely making a sound in this wonderful man's ear. That wasn't the way she wanted things to be, and would make sure she found other ways to express her admiration once she was not feeling so out of her element.

The young Chiss finished a bite and then leaned close to Sorr's ear whispering, "You know at some point we won't be on the run and my ankle will be healed. You might need to find other ways to make me purr." She moved away from his ear to be sure that he saw the flirtatious wink that she directed to him.

When Sorr started back to talking about the jobs and Rory, it gave Tiaza's joy a momentary pause. "I thought you said the jobs should be easy. I mean if they were truly hard would she hire some random team? If once we are done we have to go to Nar Shaddaa to get rid of Rory tailing us. That is what we will do. But it is just the bounties, right? He won't come after us himself will he?"​

Sorr felt his face redden when Tiaza mentioned that he needed to find more ways to make her purr. "I-," He knew what she was talking about but he was rather too embarrassed to say it out loud especially in front of brutish thugs. "I mean they are easy," Sorr sighed. "But you never know what will happen, look what happened when we left Ord Mantell. Immediately we were kidnapped."

The young man gulped. "Hopefully Rory didn't put us in the database," He said. "If they figure out who I am, I'll be putting you in danger Tiaza. I have to hurry and make sure that Rory won't try to put a hit on us. We just gotta stall somehow."

Tiaza was pleased with making Sorr blush. She ingined it was like the feeling he got when she purred. He was shy and insecure when it came to making a move. That was a good thing for Tiaza, she flirted to tease and get the blushing reaction, but she was in no hurry to move things too fast.

She was grateful when he confirmed the jobs were easy on the surface, but she saw the wisdom in being prepared for things to go bad. Sorr was certainly right about how things went from fine to bad to fine and right back to bad at Ord Mantell.

Sorr said he would be in danger and would put her in danger if they figured out who he was. She wondered a little who exactly he was. She knew his family was rich and his father was influential, but there were many people in the galaxy that would describe.

"Lady X knows your first name," Tiaza pointed out. "She hasn't called me by my name though. Maybe Rory has kept any reference to us vague so he can get his own revenge on you. Maybe we should tell them who I am if we get in too deep. You are valuable politically, but harming me might put pressure on them. Lots of people follow me. But me alone. I am a nobody."​

"No," Sorr said placing his hand on Tiaza's thigh. "I don't want you to be hurt because of me Tiaza, if anything happens let me take the blame." He sighed. "I've already made things worse it already is." He leaned his head against Tiaza's shoulder closing his eyes. "The only good thing about this," Sorr whispered. "Was that I met you Tiaza. I love you."

Tiaza blushed and honestly panicked. She had fallen for Sorr as well, quite early in this adventure. She was afraid to say it out loud, like it would be a jinx or something. But he said it. Right here. It might have been in a whisper so that no one could see, but they were sitting there right out in the open. And he said he loved her!

In addition to that he took all the danger onto himself. It was a bold, selfless act, but Tiaza wasn’t sure if he could make it a reality. If Rory really wanted to be vindictive he would make sure that Tiaza was made to be punished as well. It would hurt Sorr ultimately and that would get Rory what he wanted. But Tiaza was in no position to argue. She couldn’t fly the ship, negotiate trades, or fight off trouble. She needed Sorr. And she loved him for taking on that responsibility.

She gave a full purr into Sorr’s ear, one of the really good instinctive purrs, not something that came by a request. “I love you too, you crazy, wonderful man. Let’s finish up our dinner and make our way to the room so we can rest to be out of this place and on our own.”​

Sorr blushed furiously, did he actually say that? Did he say that he loved Tiaza after knowing her for barely a day? There was something about Tiaza that drew Sorr closer to her. From her beauty to the fact that she was always supportive and the fact that she was the first girl to ever talk to him without insulting Sorr. The Chiss' purr made him feel like melting into a puddle, he wanted to be with Tiaza for as long as she wanted. "You love me as well?" Sorr gave a nervous chuckle. "Well, I'm glad, I thought you would think differently."

Sorr gave Tiaza another piece of Chicken. "I'll always protect you Tiaza," he said kissing her neck. "I'll always make sure that you are always safe in my arms."

Tiaza gave a bit of a laugh when Sorr didn’t believe that she would return the loving sentiment. She supposed he caught her off guard as well. It wasn’t as if she expected him to say it. But it was true. Maybe not from the time in the cantina, though she was certainly drawn to him even then, but absolutely in how he took every step to protect her since. He was the man she’d always been waiting for. And he even had a little bit of the living outside the law for those who said a girl finds a boy that has some resemblance to her father.

“You are going to have to learn to see the same in yourself as I see in you Sorr. You are a strong, smart attractive man. And if I am the first girl to say that to you, you grew up with some really stupid girls.” She felt the kiss on her neck and pulled him into her with another purr to add to his confidence.

“I can’t recall feeling more safe in such a dire situation in my life,” she admitted with a smile. “My parents made me feel safe when I was young, but all of Csilla was supposed to be safe.” She gave a look to the meal that was all gone now. And the drink that had also disappeared. She was feeling a bit tipsy from the alcohol, but not enough that she didn’t mean every word that she said. “Let’s go back to the room now.”​
