The two newcomers, who were supposed to be slaves or worse as far as the Marauders were concerned had finished their dinner, were talking all mushy like and appeared like they were getting ready to leave.

The trio of Marauder women also had finished their meals and managed the courage to approach Tiaza and Sorr despite the presence of Gladiator.

Dixi of course was the ring leader, with Bang Bang taking up her back. Luche was along, but her eyes were on Sorr the whole time. Curious about the makeup of the young man. “So Kig was right about you two huh? The little boy would prefer a scrawny little red-eye to a real woman who could help him be the most famous outlaw in the galaxy? Well he’ll figure out he made the wrong choice pretty quick won’t he ladies?”

“Damn straight Dixi,” Bang Bang cackled in the background.

Before the Togruta could push the harassment any further there was a mechanical clearing of a throat from the corner Gladiator watch. Both Dixi and Bang Bang’s eyes widened and they decided to move on.

Luche stepped forward and smiled to Sorr. “So you’re the one who gets to test out the Bell Hop huh? Make sure you keep your mind on the task little man. I don’t want to miss out on my chance to fly a nice shiny new ship because you were too busy playing footsie to do your job.” She gave a nod to Galdiator and then moved along.​

"Maybe....." Sorr said smiling when Tiaza purred in his ear. The young man shuddered when Tiaza told him that her parents made her feel safe and that she thought that Csilla was supposed to be safe. He remembered reading the reports from the GADF database describing how the Brotherhood managed to swoop into the Core Worlds and easily destroy a planet. It was a statement by the Brotherhood saying that no Core World planet was safe from utter destruction. Sorr remembered reading the many messages in the open network, a flood of reactions many of them terrified of the imminent threat. The Core Worlds didn't feel this threatened since the war against the One Sith. Theories came from all corners of the Core Worlds with some suggesting that the Brotherhood were a new species from the Unknown Regions.

To Sorr, all that mattered was it pitted the Galactic Alliance into another war and this time, they were on the defensive. Sorr remembered being glad that lived in the far edges of the Core Worlds but a part of him wondered how long he was going to be safe. "I can make you feel safe Tiaza," Sorr said. "I can be your home of sorts....."

He gave her a kiss on the lips trying to make her understand that she has a home now. "You're right," Sorr whispered. "We gotta start this job soon."

Sorr picked up Tiaza placing her in his arms. "Let's get out of here." He whispered before seeing a person in front of him. "Y-yeah," Sorr said. "I'm just going to head to bed now."

He then stared at Torgrutan. "I don't know what you're talking about," Sorr said simply. "This Chiss is a stowaway who also hurt her ankle." His heart began to beat loudly, and he looked down at Tiaza for love and support.

Luche’s confrontation and Sorr’s continued annoying insistence that the Chiss was nothing more than a stowaway with an injured ankle emboldened Dixi. She made an aggressive move forward with a bit of a growl. “There’s a nice sturdy chair for her right next to you,” the young Togruta hissed as she moved in. Gladiator took a few steps closer, but he was confident that Dixi was just trying to assert her authority and he would still be able to step in before things go too bad.

“Toss the schutta aside and you can spend your last hours here with a real woman,” her voice turned from anger to more of a sultry drawl. Finally close enough Dixi tried to wedge an arm between Tiaza and Sorr.

Behind her Bang Bang and Luche gave shocked gasps. “Damn,” Bang Bang said. “He’s nothing that special. Think Dixi’s more jealous of the Chiss? Maybe she caught Kig’s eye too?”

Luche gave a shrug. “I don’t know. Girl is getting out of hand if you ask me. Might need to report this to Lady X before the next mission.”​

Sorr confirmed his thoughts matched Tiaza’s. He would be her safe space in the galaxy. She wasn’t quite sure what him being a home looked like, but she liked the idea. She’d be out on tour quite a lot if her career continued to grow. Would she ever truly find a real home? Sorr’s arms would be home for her for as long as she needed one. He finished with the perfect kiss on the lips.

The perfect peaceful moment was interrupted however, but the stupid Marauders. The girls actually, not much of a surprise. They were all dumb, but the girls seemed to have agendas. The big males just seemed to want to fight, get paid, and eat. The Togruta pointed out what was obvious, that Tiaza and Sorr were more than strangers met because they got caught up in a hijacking. Sorr continued to insist that the Marauders were wrong. It made Tiaza smile that he was so dedicated. The Duro gave a warning about making sure he didn’t mess up his test of the new ship, but that didn’t seem like it was going to escalate at all. Dixi however seemed to be more mad that Sorr stuck to his story, than she was at the idea that Sorr was not available to her because he liked Tiaza.

Dixi tried to put herself in between Tiaza and Sorr, it seemed like she was trying to toss Tiaza aside and take Sorr for her own actually. The other Marauders were a bit shocked, but Tiaza was frightened more than just shocked. She lashed out to try to smack Dixi’s hand away, but the Togruta was too strong. So Tiaza pulled herself tighter into Sorr’s chest and instantly felt more comfort and safety. A purr escaped her lips, she looked at Sorr and then Dixi, not knowing if the Marauder would make anything of the sound she made. “Sorr, I’m getting a bit tired. Can we please go back to the room?”​

"Hey!" Sorr noticed the Torgrutan trying to pry Tiaza away from him. "Let go of her!" The Torgrutan was strong but Sorr managed to wrestle Tiaza away from the Torgrutan's grip. Tiaza placed herself close to Sorr's chest purring which caused Sorr to smile. "Of course," He whispered. "These Mauraders are too much. Let's get out of here."

The young man turned on his heel holding Tiaza as tightly as possible and was about to leave.

As Sorr turned to leave at Tiaza urging, Dixi circled around to stay in their path. “Taking orders from the gimpy red-eye? I think you’ve got a crush on her…”

Bang bang have a cackling laugh behind Dixi. Luche gave a shake of her head. The Duro stood behind Dixi and Bamg Bang. They were her girls, but she had to admit that they were out of control sometimes.

“I know,” Dixi continued her disruption. “She’s just a stowaway with an injury. You’re just being chivalrous. Chivalry is dead my friend. How about you let Luche take your hobbling stowaway off your hands and I show you what a real woman can do.” She smirked, “I am not afraid to get very physical,” Dixi added in a sultry tone.​

Tiaza was so glad that Sorr agreed that it was time to leave. But the Togruta just wouldn’t give it up. She kept pushing to get in between Tiaza and Sorr. Poking at Sorr, but Tiaza wasn’t quite sure what the woman was trying to start.

Dixi again tried to get in the way. Then said her friend would carry Tiaza so Dixi and Sorr could make things physical. Tiaza wanted to hit the Togruta herself, but she knew where that would get them. The young Chiss hugged closer to Sorr’s body and gave a comforted purr before relaxing a bit.

“I think avoiding conflict might not be possible,” Tiaza sighed. “But don’t leave me in one of their hands please.”​

"She's scared," anger started to surge throughout Sorr's body as he looked down at Tiaza. "Scared of all of you guys now....." The young man took a deep breath and gently placed Tiaza down next to him. He hoped that she would cling on to his leg to feel safe and maybe mumble words of encouragement to him. "Now get out of my way." Sorr said his voice shaking. "Or you'll regret it."

Sorr got mad. He was firm and demanding of the bullying Togruta. It was quite a sight for Tiaza. She knew he had it in him, seen it a couple times. Standing up to Dixi was a different thing though. He didn't have to stand up. Dixi wasn't really going to hurt them. Gladiator was there to make sure that didn't happen. Sorr took it on himself though and it was a good feeling in Tiaza.

It was also much better to be placed seated on the ground next to Sorr, rather than held by one of the Marauders. She gave a brief, tight hug around his knees. "She's not that tough. Don't back down." The young Chiss encouraged before loosening her grip in his legs so she didn't cause him to fall in any potential fight.​

Dixi was very surprised that Sorr had it in him to stand up and not take the abuse anymore. Bang Bang and Luche beside her moved back and looked over towards Gladiator. The man was not there to pick up pieces of a fight. If there was an altercation it would end fast, and more than likely end with Gladiator's whip lashing out at Dixi's back.

With her friends looking leas likely to become involved and Sorr standing up straight and demanding to be left alone Dixi's stance softened. She smiled, even giggled a bit. "Good. You aren't just a lap dog. Got some fangs there," the comment was not at all sarcastic and almost flirty.

The Togruta raised her hands showing her palms to Sorr in surrender as she took a couple steps forward. Leaning in she kissed him on the lips. Pushing in it seemed as if she was going to be more aggressive and passionate, but heard a laughing from the entrance to the mess.

"Alright," came Kig's voice. "I be tinkin' you be done wit yer fun now. Let de Lady's guests be on dere way. I be havin' different idea for what you should be doin' wit dose lips."

Dixi stepped back but looked at Sorr with a seductive smile and a wink before stepping aside and allowing him to pick up Tiaza and take leave of the situation.​

Sorr felt relieved that there wasn't going to be a fight he was about to go and pick up Tiaza until the Torgrutan took his arms and pressed her lips against his. The young man tried to fight back but her strength was equivalent to a Wookie any more tugs and he might have his arms removed from their sockets. As she let go, the Torgrutan gave Sorr a smile and a wink while he looked on ashen faced and furious. "How dare you!" He shouted before quickly picking up Tiaza.

"I'm sorry that happened!" Sorr whispered holding Tiaza close to his chest with tears coming out. "I tried to fight her."

The Togruta seemed to back down some when Sorr stood up to her. This made Tiaza smile, she knew he was just shy, but once pushed so far he would stand up and people would listen. The young Chiss’ head cocked to the side at the almost flirting that Dixi resorted to when challenging didn’t seem to work. Or maybe challenging did work and she was just trying to figure out if Sorr was worth flirting with? This woman was quite confusing to Tiaza.

‘Hold up did she just kiss my Sorr?’ Tiaza asked herself. Her hand unconsciously balled into fists. For a moment she thought there was going to be a fight in the mess, ankle be damned. But she knew that she couldn’t win and it would just make more trouble for Sorr. So she relented, smiling secretly with Sorr’s outburst caused by the kiss.

As soon as Sorr scooped her back up into his arms Tiaza rubbed her cheek against his chest and purred. He apologized for the kiss. This caused Tiaza to giggle. “There was nothing you could do,” the young Chiss hummed as she moved so she could look into his eyes. “If I weren’t there you probably would have fought them off, but you had to be careful to protect me.” She didn’t know how much of that was true. But she believed it completely. “If she challenges you again though. Suggested a fist fight and give me your blaster. I’ll show her,” she couldn’t help a laugh at the thought of big bad Tiaza shooting anyone. But the girl that kissed her Sorr she might be able to do it.

Her eyes fell on his lips and she gave a momentary frown before a knowing smirk. “I think I need to take the taste of her lips off you though. I apologize ahead of time, but this needs to be done.” She leaned in and kissed him. A long kiss. She smiled and purred as she broke contact. “Now let’s go get some rest so we can be ready to get the heck out of here as soon as the ship arrives tomorrow.”​

Sorr kissed Tiaza passionately wanting to forget about the Torgrutan forcing a kiss on him. All he wanted right now was Tiaza..... his Tiaza, her purr placed his troubled mind at ease as he held her tight. "I don't want to be violated like that again," Sorr whispered while he held Tiaza close. "It feels that I'm can't protect you properly."

They arrived at their room while Sorr gently placed Tiaza on the bed. "Let's get some rest," Sorr said kissing Tiaza on the lips. "Can't wait to carry you all day tomorrow."

Tiaza lost herself in their kiss. She was completely surprised that they had arrived at their room. But she was happy to hopefully finally be alone and have some peace. She frowned when he suggested that he couldn’t protect her.

A finger went to his mouth covering his lips as if to say not to talk. “How many dangers have we faced since we met? And through it all I only have a twisted ankle. And that was because I was a klutz. No one could have protected me better.” There was a ping of guilt in the statement. Sorr had protected her with great prowess, but Hilal was her best friend and a trained Mandalorian. Could have done a better job protecting Tiaza? That might have been the case. But Sorr did it a different way and he did it the best.

As Sorr started to place Tiaza on the bed she didn’t want to let go of him. With arms still wrapped around his neck and shoulders she pulled him down towards the bed with her. “You will need rest too,” she purred into his ear. “Do you still get credit for carrying me when you are piloting the ship I’m sitting in?” she gave a light giggle and kissed him once more.​

Sorr smiled when Tiaza purred in his ear however he was shocked when Tiaza pulled him down on the bed with him. "Well you can always sit on my lap," he said chuckling while he kissed her on the nose. "It was an accident Tiaza, noone could've saw that coming. I'm just glad I was able to protect you from danger and I will always protect you Tiaza."

The young man sighed. "I need to keep watch," he said. "As your boyfriend, I don't want anyone to hurt you."

Tiaza wanted to push harder for Sorr to get sleep as well. But she was pretty certain he wouldn't listen. Giving a rumbling sigh, the young Chiss gave in with a nod. She laid her head on the pillow.

"I understand you need to watch," she mewled to Sorr. "Can you at least lay or sit with me? Let me rest my head on you while you put your arms around me?"​

Sorr nodded allowing Tiaza to rest her head against his chest. He began to stroke her blue hair while he looked up at the ceiling. "Do you think your ankle will ever get better?" He asked. "If not then I wouldn't mind carrying you around for the rest of your life." He smirked and kissed Tiaza on the neck while tickling her armpits.

An almost continuous purr of content rolled off of Tiaza as Sorr stroked her hair gently. Her eyes closed and with all they had been through on this day, 'It has to have been more than a single day by now,' a fleeting thought crossed her mind even as she drifted off towards sleep.

She barely heard him ask if her ankle would ever heal. The droid doctor had said it would, hadn't he. 'Oh wouldn't that be a sight, me needing to be carried out onto stage for a concert.'

A lazy smile formed on the Chiss' mouth as she vaguely heard him promise to carry her the rest of her life. Then a louder purr at the kiss to her neck, followed by a shriek of laughter at the tickling. Tiaza wasn't terribly ticklish except for that one spot under her arms. "Hey!" she called out trying to stop laughing. "No fair. How am I supposed to sleep when you do things like that?"​

"I don't know," Sorr said tickling her armpits. He really liked her red attire it was strapless which meant her underarms were vulnerable for tickling. It was something his Mom did to Sorr when he was a kid. "Maybe because it was tempting," Sorr said kissing her nose. "Goodnight my beautiful and delicate Chiss."

He began to sleep on her stomach. "Let's hope tomorrow would give us good fortune."

Tiaza took the tickling with giggles and squirming. She wanted to fight back, but had no idea if Sorr was ticklish, or where and fighting back would just open herself up for more of the silly torture. Eventually he ceased his playful attack with a kiss on the nose. Tiaza caught her breath quickly purred and snuggled into Sorr. As she expected he rested against her as requested and soon they were both asleep snuggled together.

Tiaza was the first to wake, though she did not want to move. She rubbed her cheek against Sorr and gave a groan of sleepiness. Arching her back the Chiss gave a yawn and rubbed her eyes and looked around the room. On the desk, she saw a pile of folded black/gray clothing. She gave a gasp and gently prodded Sorr’s side.

“Please tell me the clothes on the desk were there when we went to sleep,” she whispered. The thought of someone coming into the room while they were sleeping was creepy.​
