He smacked Tiaza’s butt again. She became quite angry at that and started thrashing harder. They were almost to the ship. And now there were more guards to stand between Sorr and her. “No!” she cried out and stuck her foot out connecting with one of the guards that Rory had deployed. The kick only staggered the man for a minute before he reset and readied himself for Sorr’s charge.

“Let me go!” Tiaza screamed kicking harder and flailing her arms around. At one point she dug her nails into Rory’s back, but it did little to stop him from moving towards the ship.​

“Seems like the hyperdrive is fixed,” Brinna grumbled as Rory arrived at the ship. “Time to get this bucket of bolts into space?” She gave a look at the Chiss over Rory’s shoulder and frowned. “Why can’t we just leave her here? How much is she really wor…” Brinna stopped mid sentence when she got a good look at her.​

Tiaza was one of Brinna’s favorite music artist. Her voice was at the same time haunting and soothing. “That’s Tiaza you creep. Not that any girl you kidnap would be ok. But Tiaza!” She had her hand cocked back and ready to fly. Could she let Rory sell Tiaza to a Hutt? What would Rory do to Shoan if she stopped him.

"Which will make her even more valuable to Hutts!" Rory said to Brinna. "Now prep the ship! We don't have much-" Rory turned around still carrying the struggling Tiaza over his shoulder. Sorr slowly walked towards the old Smuggler pointing his blaster pistol towards his face. "Put Tiaza down now!"

Rory chuckled while the three men raised their blaster rifles. "Can't kid," Rory said patting Tiaza's butt giving it a squeeze. "Like I said, you need to detatch yourself. Focus on the money because if you focus on the woman well...."

He gave Tiaza another smack on her bottom. "It'll cause problems." He said. "Especially for your bosses."

"Put Tiaza down now!" Sorr yelled. "Or I will kill you."

"Then what are you waiting for?!" Rory said motioning his men to stand down. "Shoot me! Kill me! Show that you're a true criminal!"

Tiaza was so excited when Sorr appeared. She was saved. But then she frowned and started to cry. To be free right now Rory had to die. She would be happy that he was no longer touching her butt, but she wasn't sure what knowing someone died because of her would do.

And she wasn't sure what killing someone would do to Sorr. He was such a good man. That was part of what she loved about him. What if he changed if he shot Rory? "It is ok if you can't," she said with blurry eyes. "You will find another way to save me. I won't stop fighting til you do."​

"Mother!" Brinna cursed as Rory touched Tiaza's rear. "I swear you touch her ass again sleemo and you won't like what happens. And if you take it out on Shoan you really won't like it."

When Sorr showed up Brinna figured everything was going to be alright. Then Tiaza started to cry and told Sorr he didn't need to kill Rory. "It is ok if you can kill the sleemo too," she said but the tough words were accompanied by a tear from Brinna. "She is right though. You will find a way. Cause you're a good guy and lucky as hell. And she's freakin' Tiaza."​

Sorr wavered yet again, he had a clear shot at Rory but once again he was reluctant in pulling the trigger. "Tiaza....." Sorr muttered his hand shaking wildly.

Rory laughed giving Tiaza's butt a good, hard slap in response to Brinna's threat. "You betrayed me Brinna," Rory said turning around still carrying Tiaza over his shoulder. "I warned you sweetheart a long time ago not to betray me. I want to thank you for distracting the kid, those were a lot of crates."

He took out a Holoprojector, an image of an IG-88 Droid appearing. "You know that Shoan kid?" Rory said. "I think I want him dead."

<As you wish.> The IG-88 Droid said as his image disappeared. "We've had a good relationship," Rory smirked placing his Holoprojector in his pocket. "The kid is too afraid to kill and now you'll die as well."

One of the men grabbed Brinna's hair throwing her on the ground while Rory carried Tiaza on the ship. "Kill them," Rory said while Sorr remained rooted on the ground frozen and his lower lip curling.

Tiaza continued to cry as Sorr stood frozen. She was glad he wasn’t able to take a life so quickly. It said a lot about the man he was. To be an efficient smuggler you didn’t have to kill. But the young Chiss had to admit if you were going to do it, Rory was the guy. He smacked her butt again. This was getting ridiculous. At this point Tiaza was almost looking forward to whatever Hutt the slimy bastard was going to sell her to. But that took time and that meant Sorr could figure out a way to save her that didn’t mean killing Rory in cold-blood.

“It’s alright Sorr,” Tiaza sobbed. “I know you’ll save me. Keep being the man you are. Don’t compromise for this bastard. I’ll see you soon. I know it. I love you!”​

Brinna could only scowl while Rory called up the IG bounty hunter droid. She knew that Shoan was too smart to get killed by the droid. He’d go into hiding somewhere. She’d just have to find him when she got back to Nar Shaddaa. After the guard threw her to the ground by her long hair she popped right back up.

There were three of them. One of her, and Sorr, who she wasn’t sure what he was capable of. “Switch it to stun or whatever you need,” Brinna said to Sorr. “That one is yours,” she pointed to the rightmost guard. She then cracked her knuckles and smiled. “These two are mine.”

Before the thugs could even think about striking, Brinna was on the move. She lunged into a slide while delivering an elbow square to the first man’s jaw. Spinning from there she connected a back fist to his temple and the man crumpled to the ground. Knowing the other guard could now fire without fearing hitting his comrade, Brinna flipped into the air, narrowly avoiding blaster fire and struck the next guard on the top of the head with a kick. She then dropped her knee right into the center of the man’s chest and punched him square in the nose. With a smile she looked over to Sorr, prepared to take on the last guard if necessary.​

Sorr watched Rory carry Tiaza into his ship what an utter fool he was. To see his girlfriend, get carried off without doing anything. What kind of person was Sorr? What kind of man was he if he couldn't protect Tiaza? Tears started to form from the corner of his eye as he saw Brinna flipped over the mercenaries taking them down with nothing more than her fist. He wasn't as strong Brinna, there was no way that he could take these guys on.

The mercenary fired at Sorr grazing his cheek, the young man gave a cry of pain as he stumbled back firing wildly. One of the blaster bolts hit the man on the shoulder as knelt down on his knee with a cry of pain. Anger surging through his body, Sorr rushed towards the wounded mercenary striking him across the jaw with his fist hitting him as hard as he could. Blood came from his jaw as he landed headfirst onto the concrete. Sorr immediately leapt on to the unconscious body and repeatedly punched him on the face. "Damn it!" Sorr shouted tears started to roll down from his eyes. "Damn it!"

Tiaza could do little more than ball her eyes out as Rory dragged her onto his ship. Seeing Sorr alive gave her hope that she would be rescued, but for now she was at the mercy of Rory, and she didn't have much faith in his mercies.

"You aren't really selling me to the Hutts are you?" she sobbed. Though she wasn't sure that him keeping her was a better option. A ransom or Sorr was her only real hope.​

The Ship roared to life lifting off from the spaceport and accelerating out of Khomm's atmosphere. Rory was tired of being on that backwater planet, the inhabitants gave him the creeps. "Of course I am sweetheart!" Rory laughed while he placed the sobbing Tiaza down in the co-pilot's seat. "There's a slave auction at Kween that's happening very soon and a Chiss as pretty as you will be draw a lot of Hutt attention."

He began calculating the jump to Lightspeed. "Even better now that Brinna said that you're a singer," Rory smiled. "I could triple of what I can get off selling Chiss."

"What makes you think Sorr can't get more from his parents," Tiaza blurted out hoping maybe Rory would reconsider. "I mean you can only try to kill or take him so many times right? Why not just make some credits and move on with everyone ok?"​

"The Dad hates Sorr's guts," Rory said as he made the final preparations for Lightspeed. "He doesn't care if Sorr lives or dies, at least that's according to my source. You should dump the kid Tiaza, a Hutt will treat you better than that loser. He couldn't shoot me to save you just shows that he's not as selfless as he thinks he is."

"Him not being able to kill you shows that he isn't a creep who only thinks about himself," Tiaza bit back angrily. Sorr had also suggested that his father wouldn't help him, but didn't go so far as to say hate.

"No one can do better for me than Sorr can," Tiaza continued to argue. "He is going to rescue me and you are going to end up with nothing. I might be a singer, but you have to get me to sing in order to prove that. Now I'm just a poor Chiss with messed up clothing."​

A simpering smile came over Rory's face while pressed his hand on Tiaza's thigh. "He does think of himself," Rory said squeezing her thigh. "He should've been thinking about you but instead he thought about himself. If he shot me then you would be purring in his arms right now. Forget it sweetheart he's not going to rescue you. He's proven that he doesn't have what it takes to cross that line and get things done."

Tiaza tried to shrug away from the hand on her thigh, but the old smuggler's grip was too strong. She gave a grain before giving up.

"He has proven he is better than you multiple times now," Tiaza argued. "He will do it again, and prove you wrong. That line doesn’t have to be crossed to be a good smuggler."​

"If he was so much better," Rory said. "He would've rescued you by now and sweetheart you are woefully naive as what constitutes as a Smuggler. Only the hardened people can be capable Smugglers. Sorr should've stayed at home."

With a pat on Tiaza's cheek, Rory jumped into Lightspeed heading to Hutt space. "You'll love it," Rory said. "The Hutts will take care of you as long as you take care of them if you know what I mean."

He gave her a wink. "And you will sing for them Tiaza."

Tiaza actually rolled her eyes at Rory. A smuggler didn't have to be a cold hardened criminal. In fact a smuggler could be a good guy in case of bringing needed things to a oppressed peoples.

But any argument was killed when he placed a slimy hand on her cheek. She cringed visibly and pulled away. "I won't sing." She tried to be strong but her voice waivered. "Maybe they will be better than you though. Maybe they will listen to reason."​

"If I know the Hutts," Rory said looking at the blue streaks in the cockpit. "They will make you do anything they want sooner or later." He leaned against his chair. "You will know when to stop resisting sweetheart," he said. "I know you recorded things for that piece of chit Sorr, what do you think that's going to do for him huh?"

Tiaza worried that Rory was right about the Hutts getting her to do whatever they wanted. But that would only happen if the had her long enough to break her. She wasn’t sure that would take long, so she was counting on Sorr rescuing her quite quickly. At this point the travel and selling, an auction even? Those were things that took time. The young Chiss was quite glad that Rory was so consumed with credits and didn’t want to keep her for himself.

Over the worry a smirk formed on Tiaza’s face when Rory brought up the recordings she had made for Sorr. “Positive encouragement,” she said with a chuckle. “I doubt it’s anything you’ve received or even heard of. But I guarantee they will help me and Sorr. Just you wait.”​
